I took my Subaru in without seeking an appointment for state inspection, tires rotate and oil change and got the call less than 3 hours later to come in and pick up my car. I was told about a couple of recommendations that they wanted me to consider. No hard sell but just information about somethings I should think about. I will be back.

I brought my car in because my right rear break was making a lot of strained noises. After they did the inspection I was told that I need both of my rear rotors, pads, and calipers replaced. When they told me the total price to perform the this I was taken back because it was hundreds of dollars and I was prepared for that. I really don't know anything about cars so I went to another shop a friend of mine recommended for a second opinion. I ended up at Meineke where they told me that I needed the same services. I wish I had just had the work done at Centreville Tire and Auto because they turned out to be a better price and they said they would have completed the job the same day. Meineke turned out to be more expensive, even with a student discount, and it took them three days to complete the job when they assured me it can be done the same day or worse case the following day. Regardless of me not getting the services done at their shop, everyone was so friendly at Centreville Tire and Auto and they just wanted me to be driving a vehicle that was safe to be on the road. I would definitely trust them for my future auto needs, now that I have compared price and timelines of work with other auto shops. I'm just crossing my fingers it'll be a while before I have car trouble again.

The service was wonderful and no fee. The gentleman (I forgot to ask his name) spent about 40 minutes with me for a road test on my Camry with swaying problems. After that they also performed in-house tests for a couple of hours. When all tests were done, they called me and let me know the root cause of the problem and provided me a quote. My Camry is 20 years old with almost 200,000 miles on the odometer. I though it wasn't worth it to spent so much money on this old car, I decided not to fix it. When I went to bring my car back, I asked them how much I have to pay for the checking/testing. They told me there was no fee today. I was really surprised to hear that. Think about how many hours they have put on my car. I don't know about cars very much. The gentleman who did the road test with me was very kind to explain all the possibilities that might cause the car to sway. I really appreciate what they have done. Maybe from their computer records, they know I am a return customer, and provide me the courtesy check. Anyway, you won't return to a car repair shop without a good reason, right?

My experience with "Centreville Tire & Auto - Elite Car Care Centers" was excellent. My car's rear tire was losing air pressure because of having a nail on it. My wife recommended me to go over there as she takes her Toyota Prius to them for the servicing need. I was little skeptical to take my car over there, because I usually take my Toyota Highlander to the dealership. Anyway, I decided to take my car to them, and I was very amazed with their professional service. The front desk guy was super professional, welcoming and polite. They gave me the price upfront ($29.97) to fix the tire, and as a courtesy they did 21 points inspection (trip check) completely free. They have already earned my wife’s trust and now they have earned mine. I will take my car to them for my car's future servicing necessity.

Went to have brakes fixed. I sat for almost two hours before they told me I needed to pay 165 dollars to have key lock for tire and lock change they can not just take off while fixing. Came to Manassas Tire and they charged 5dollars per tire if service was done there and 10 if not. Centreville tire and auto is a ripe off and plus the left parts they took off undone but replace upon request. Go to Manassas Tire for you service needs.

Had low tire pressure light on, got checked by another local place. Said no leaks, filled up tire and sent me on my way. As expected, light came on again. Came here, they found 2 nails and repaired for both holes for about $30. Mike guaranteed to take care of me if light came on again, saying patches would hold. 5 days later, my light came on again. Went back, saw Mike and they found pin hole in tire. Not the same patch they fixed but a new one. Mike and Leander took care of me as promised. Great value, friendly folks at this place. Bathroom, free tv, magazines and coffee for customers. Also have regular drawing for free oil change.

I came in because a Tire pressure warning came on during my ride in to work. I got the bad news that it was a puncture that was to close to the wall to plug (i suspected it). What I did not know was another tire had damage on the inside wall. This averted a potential blow out. I needed to get to work, so the drove me there. Thought I would get stuck with a big $ because of the circumstances. Not only did they get it done, they got me what I thought was a great deal! Not to mention, FREE alignment and balancing. PLUS 70K mile warranty. They earned a new customer for life.

They then denied responsibility even tho it was 100% fine when I dropped it off. Finally agreed to fix it, then lazily and purposefully botched the fix. Good luck going here.

Not only did they perform a diagnostic on the spot, but they discovered the issue and replaced a leaky hose for an unbelievably low price. Centreville Tire & Auto took my 2005 Mazda 6 and towed it off for cash/scrap without EVER notifying or informing me that it needed to be picked up or this was going to be towed....I didn't receive a SINGLE warning which I consider to be very bad business and highly conniving. If you want honest feedback on the condition of your car and the repairs that it needs or doesn't need, look no further than Centreville Tire & Auto. It's difficult to find trustable repair shops these days, but i quickly discovered that this shop was the exception. Ask for Mike at the counter & he'll make sure that you're taken care of. His caliber of customer service will be difficult to find anywhere else.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I have a bad experience from them. These give me so much hard time. They failed my safety inspection for all for wheels while i took it to another mechanic and the confirmed it was not that low to be failed. They gave very high price snd they told me that you need to change your rotters as well. When I did replace my brakes and i took it back for reinspection around 3:40 PM they refuse to do it. Very bad customer service unfortunately and I will never again take my car to them. They charge you alot and if you don't pay attention they replace the part that shouldn't be replaced.

I chose this place to get my inspections/ emissions done after being referred to it by family friends and was pleased with the service. Because of my tight schedule, the inspector offered to stay after hours to get the job done. Fortunately, I was able to get there during regular hours to avoid this issue! They are also in a very convenient location if you are looking for a quick drop off/ pick-up spot. There is plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance to kill some time. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Thursday 1/31/2019 I was supposed to have a state inspection but something happened so they told me to come in next day. State finished and they covered it no charge. I’ve been going here since 2015 and they have done everything I need on my car the right way. I would recommend coming back again.

Update: I mistakenly put $45 as the price for a single patch, but the store owner has corrected that the $45 included the cost of the safety inspection. They did ask to waive the fee also for a new tire, but at that point having to return to the store for the missed nail had put me out an hour longer than I expected to be. Plus, I would have had to wait for my inspection on a later date, as they would not pass me without either patching my tire that day or ordering/waiting for a new one. Got an inspection two days ago. They found a nail in my rear left tire and patched it for around $45. While I was on my way out, I looked at my wheel and found another nail in the same tire. If I did not do my due diligence and inspect my tire i would have missed it, when they had their eyes on it. I was asked if I wanted to patch that one for an additional $45. Had both nails been sighted the first time, I would have opted for a new tire rather than spend $90 on patching. They did offer to patch the 2nd hole for free as an apology, so I do appreciate that.

I dropped by without an appointment to get one of my tires checked for holes and to also check the under carriage cover (screws came off and the cover keeps dragging on the road when it falls). They checked the tire and used a zip tie to hold the cover together for me.. all for free. And all done under 20 mins. Says alot about their service and integrity! Will definitely come back!

What a rip off.. My son's 4 Runner failed inspection on rack and pinion leaking and exhaust. They wanted $1800+ to fix. He took it to another shop and have it done for $1050. Took it back to Centreville Tire and Auto to have it reinspected...1 day passed the due date..charged him full inspection price of $16.. He should have let the other shop do it. Centreville Tire and Auto just lost our business along with all of our friends in Centreville area..Fire/PD and neighbors.

I am new to the area and made an appointment with another similarly named mechanic shop, but drove to this one by mistake. I’m glad I did! Mike and Leander told me they would immediately take care of me and made me feel like I was a special customer. Mike drove me and my son to get a car I had booked with Enterprise and was so welcoming. The mechanic, Sung, was very nice and called later to explain all of the repairs. He was very thorough and explained pricing well. I called our old mechanic to compare prices (just to make sure I wasn’t being taken advantage of as a woman) and he said the prices were very fair. Sung even told me ways he could give me a little off of labor. The work is also covered for three years. I’m so glad I stumbled into this place. It felt like a friendly small town mechanic shop in the middle of everything.

I just can’t say enough great things about Centreville Tire and Auto. We just moved here from California and are so happy that we found a honest repair shop. Sean along with every employee was kind, respectful, professional but most important they are HONEST!!We had a number of concerns with our car and rather than replace a part that was expensive and didn’t really need to be replaced they told us it didn’t need to be addressed right now. Sean went above and beyond by reasesrching every possible reason we could be having the issues and addressed it appropriately. The owner even contacted me after to make sure we were happy with our service! I told Gary I appreciate the quality of work his shop preforms as well as the quality employees he hires. Another great service they provide is a complementary shuttle to and from their shop!

I was driving with my family from Florida when my car started making a grinding noise. I pulled off the highway and found a hotel. I looked up repair places near me and Centreville Tire and Auto came up. I gave a call but Gary told me the mechanics had gone home and they would open at 7am. I was there at 7 and Gary greeted me and said he would have it looked at ASAP. About an hour and a half later Gary said the car was fixed and I only owed labor. Asked how much to replace a valve stem after I told them I filled the tire and the light turned off. They quoted me 180 cause it could be the sensor. I have a 2015 forester Subaru. I called centreville tire and auto they quoted me 35 dollars. I checked and the valve stem had a small leak. Centreville tire and auto are rip offs.

Came here for a VA Safety Inspection near the end of January (scheduled an appointment online which was wonderful). The inspection went well and thorough. In fact, the General Manager, Leander Poe, shared that his experts found two issues that I had thought were repaired by another dealer. The staff are all friendly and very personable, but I felt like I was taken advantage of by the time I got my car back. I took it in to get an oil change and have them check an issue with my headlights, where the high beams worked, but low beams did not, even though they were the same bulb. I previously had a wiring issue with an interior light, and a fuse issue with one of my taillights, so I figured I would have the whole thing checked out since I was getting an oil change anyway(otherwise I would've just changed the bulbs myself). First off, I asked about getting an oil change, and the guy said they couldn't do conventional oil for my car, because it calls for synthetic. I've looked through my owners manual in the past and have never seen anything in it that suggests it must be synthetic, in fact, at this point, my car had been serviced at the original dealer I purchase it at for well over 4 years(up until it was out of warranty) and they have never used synthetic in it once. I told him to just skip it in that case, because, if it does require synthetic anyway, I can do it myself for $30 rather than having them do it for $80. Now we're to the headlights issue. I was already there, so I figured I'd have them do the headlights even if there was a modest markup for them to do it over replacing them myself, especially if a wiring issue or something of the like did happen to exist. I VERY clearly requested that they simply replace the bulbs and see if that worked, and IF NOT, I would like them to look over the wiring and fuses and see what's going on, because, as previously noted, I've had a number of issues with lights in my car that weren't fixed by simply replacing the bulbs. A few hours later, I got a call from them letting me know that my car was done, they had replaced the headlights and that did the trick, but for some reason, even though I told them very specifically NOT TO if the bulbs worked, they also spent 90 minutes or so digging around my wiring and checking all of the fuses for $120 per hour, or $180 for the 90 minutes. On top of that, rather than what I would consider a reasonable mark up on the headlights, they charged me $95 JUST for the headlights. Keep in mind these are standard OEM headlights that you can get on Amazon for $20 per set... So, at the end of it all, I essentially spent $275 on a set of basic headlights and I still needed to get an oil change somewhere else(I ended up doing it myself). And here 6 months later, one of my headlights has gone out again, so I don't even trust that their $180 look around my light set up was worth much of anything. I went to this shop because of the remarkably positive reviews on here, but I was extremely disappointed and hope my experience can help someone else. As of now, I have gone back to my old shop for all future needs that I can't handle on my own, even though it's about 20 minutes further from where I live.

I've been using Centreville Tire and Auto as my garage for about two years and I only have positives to say. They're quick to get you in for walk in service (I need to do a better job of calling ahead) and they're very helpful. My favorite thing about this garage is that the perform the work you ask... And then give you a heads up for optional service, and let you know what could be coming up (example... your brakes are fine but have maybe 8 months left) and don't pressure for extra service. Leander Poe is the general manager and will make sure to help you out with any service you need.
