As a new shop i tried to get a tire distributor. i called ATD as i have dealt with them previously at other shops. after 5+phone calls attempting to get set up with a account with promised call back, there has been NO progress AT ALL. i filled out the online form as well and didn't hear anything back. What a joke

Bad place to work for. Near zero tolerance for accidents. Really!?! I guess they only want local wannabees truckers. None are as good as me. Management has no clue to truckers. I have more experience than any management combined. I'm glad I'm out of there. Good luck American Tire Distribution trying to find someone like me.

ATD is my go to vendor for tires. They have a large warehouse with plenty of inventory. Multiple deliveries per day allow my business - G&C Tire and Auto, to reduce our amount of onsite inventory.

First time I was there. I was just delivering a load and was to drop it and get an empty. The only to people there was another driver named Mike and the assistant manager. Mike found the assistant manager and I was allowed to drop on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get on my way. I'd like to say thank you to Mike and the assistant manager that was there that day. Much appreciated gentlemen.

Disappointed with the level of service/communication as a wholesale purchaser. Our small independent auto repair shop made several purchases monthly from ATD as one of our suppliers for a while with no issues. Ordered a set of tires a few weeks ago and the next day got a phone call from them telling me that we would have to come pick up the tires since they will not deliver to us any more. Was then informed that our rep supposedly stopped in to tell us that they were essentially dropping us a month prior, though that wasn't the case at all. This is not the way to do business.

Place is terrible to deal with if a smaller shop forget it they could care less, find a smaller distributor to deal with that will treat you better! Pass them by they are only concerned with their own pockets.
