Snowfire is hands down the best automotive dealer and shop that I have ever encountered. Not only did they give me a major deal on my trade-in and used car I bought a couple of years ago, but they treat people fairly all around. I went in to get my snow tires on and when they put my summer tires back into my car it made a huge muddy mess. When I called to complain that were very apologetic and offered to clean it for me. I brought it in the next day even though they were busy. While I was there, they seemed very very busy. I thought I was going to be there longer than I told them I could be. Yet to my surprise they came out with the keys in 2 hours and told me they not only cleaned the back seat, but they cleaned the whole car inside and out, replaced two filters that I had an appointment for a week later, put in a new key battery which I desperately needed, and gave me an inspection ( that I didn't realize was needed) all on the house! I couldn't even believe what I was hearing. I have such gratitude for them for taking all of this off my plate and for being so kind and generous. Thanks Snowfire!

This place is a joke, rip off artists at their best. John is a liar and a thief, always has been and always will be. Anyone who believes anything that comes out of that guys mouth should be ashamed of their own intelligence level. I know former employees personally that worked there for years and years. In the end they basically had to leave due to the terrible business practices that were being done at this shop. Most of their cars are a bunch of auction junk from the auto auction in Manheim Pennsylvania. Some previously light wrecks(accidents/damage that won't usually show up on a Carfax report), and ill-maintained "off lease type" vehicles that were abused and then sent to auction for that reason. I've been in this business my whole adult life, 25+yrs. Graduate of VTC automotive technology program in 1994. I know cars, know the good and bad shops in VT, and i know several good people who left this business over the last 5-10 years who just couldn't agree with the poor business practices that were transpiring there anymore. I don't know how anyone at snowfire sleeps at night knowing you're part of a group of people that give all the "real good automotive people" a bad reputation. This review was long overdue to be written about all of you at Snowfire. By the way you don't have to believe me just read all of the other 1 and 2 star ratings from Google, Yelp, etc, and you'll see what I'm say is the truth and that I'm not the only one who figured out what the "real snowfire" is all about. Honesty and integrity are two things that definitely are not present at Snowfire auto.

Snowfire Auto: the tiny dealership and garage located on the very edge of the town of Waterbury is the literal embodiment of small town hospitality! Snowfire offers FREE loaner vehicles for their clients and works hard to find an equitable solution for your car woes. I’ve swung in unannounced for little things like my tire pressure light being on (just needed a little air), the check engine light being on, which was diagnosed in the parking lot because the shop was so busy, and emergency windshield wiper replacement when the roads were mucky and gross. My wife used to bring our Acura to Shearer Acura in S. Burlington, but the “Service Specialist” we worked with would “mansplain”, was very condescending and just didn’t seem like he specialized in service at all - not to mention the labor rates, ugh. If you want fair prices, top notch service and an incredible purchasing experience, I HIGHLY recommend you bring the family down to Snowfire.

The level of service, professionalism, and care demonstrated by Snowfire Automotive is second to none. This is coming from another automotive business owner-who unfortunately broke down over 4 hours from home without his tools! Breakdowns happen to everyone, but when you come in a half hour before closing, and are helped past closing, that shows how much people really care about their customers. We had car troubles start in the parking lot of a grocery store close by, and after asking another in the parking lot who he would recommend (he was driving a Volvo as were we) he said, "I'll take you to my mechanic," so we followed him. Our nightmare of car troubles outside of the comfort of our own garage quickly came to an end, and Dylan and the guys at Snowfire really saved the day. This is a true story, so if they treat strangers this good, their customers are very lucky. Thanks!

Wonderful experience! I brought my CR-V in yesterday to have summer tires and wheels put on, oil changed and interior detailed. They did a thorough job and my car has never looked better! The staff was very friendly, professional and efficient. I highly recommend Snowfire Auto.

Absolute top notch customer service. I always dread moving to a new area and having to find a decent shop. It's a real minefield out there but if you're in central Vermont, let me tell you, this is the place. When my old Volvo broke down I had it towed to Snowfire and Aaron and Dylan were extremely accommodating in getting my car into a busy shop for diagnosis. Unfortunately the prognosis for that car proved to be terminal but, again, Snowfire came to the rescue. All in the same visit Bill was able to sell me a great car at an even better price and send me on my way with some reliable wheels. I never knew it could be this easy. If only more shops and dealerships could be this honest and genuine. Again, thank you all. I will certainly be back with mine and my wifes cars.
