It is best to schedule an appointment to deal with most situations. They will do their best to accommodate but it could take longer than expected if you choose or must wait for your vehicle. Best to have a plan of action for the down time. Free coffee and tea.

I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Escape SEL from Heritage. Charlie Moriarty was the salesman who helped me with the purchase. I did a lot of research on-line and had decided that the Escape was the vehicle that I was interested in. I stopped by Heritage to look at the vehicle and possibly a test ride. I told Charlie that I was not intending to purchase the vehicle right then and he respected that. I drove the car and fell in love with it! Charlie was not pushy at all. After the test drive, Charlie suggested we look at some numbers so that I could get an idea what the "deal" would look like. We did exactly that and I ended purchasing the vehicle right then and there. Charlie is an extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and respectful salesman. He knew the product and was able to answer all my questions. I feel extremely comfortable recommending Heritage Ford and Charlie Moriarty to anyone who is looking for or thinking about purchasing a vehicle. My vehicle purchase experience was fantastic!

For some perspective, I'm a full time grad student at a nearby college. I was looking to lease a new vehicle to replace my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. My fiance has had work done on her car at Heritage for a while (transmission-computer recall issues) and every time she came back from there, she praised the staff and how well she was treated, so I decided to see what Heritage could offer me. Long story short, I walked in after inquiring online about a new truck. I was provided with outstanding customer service throughout the entire process. Specifically the employee I worked with on my lease deal was Kyle O. I would highly recommend him. He was an absolute pleasure to work alongside. I never felt pressured or uneasy about anything. He was super easy to talk to and is all around a genuinely good guy. I ended up getting KBB value for my trade in, coupled with a great deal of rebates and incentives, and worked out an unreal deal on a new truck. No haggle or hassling, just real and honest deals and service. Not sure what else you could ask for from a dealership. I would highly recommend to anyone in VT and surrounding area.

Very helpful with my state inspection. My out of state Ford truck didn't have mud flaps (a requirement in Vermont) so they installed complimentary mud flaps to get me through the inspection. That is nice for a dealership who did not sell ne the truck.

Servicing a recall on my out-of-state vehicle was a very easy process. The department even informed me I had a free clutch replacement under my warranty plan I didn't know about. Everything returned fine and in order, and Mike was kind enough to spend some time at the end of his shift providing me advice on other items I was contemplating getting fixed, as well as general maintenance. Buying a new vehicle is something I usually dread, but my experience with Andrew Melvin at Heritage Ford was a pleasure. I had done some homework as to what I wanted, how much I could afford and what I could reasonably expect to get off MSRP and went to Heritage just to touch base. I told Andrew that I wasn't going to order that day, but I told him what I needed to make it happen. Within a very short period of time, we had a truck configured how I wanted it and at the price I was willing to pay, including locked in incentives. Andrew knew the product and made a couple of suggestions that made sense. He was friendly, informed and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I called a week later to make a change in color and it was no problem making a new order to make it happen. Once the truck arrived at the dealership, it was still a great experience with no pressure for up sales, just information as to what the options were for and no recriminations or pressure if I declined. This experience left me feeling good about the whole process and I highly recommend Andrew Melvin to anyone looking to purchase a Ford.

First visit to Heritage Ford Maintenance Dept. Staff was welcoming and addressed all concerns including a straight from the factory rotor issue. Could not duplicate problem with radio keypad. Was advised to continue to monitor and report back to Maintenance Department which I feel is a valid response given the particular item in question.

People are very nice and service is great once you’re there and they have your parts, but therein lies the rub. My last appt was to have recall work done - THEY called ME to schedule, I had to leave the car for the day (which is no easy thing to work around) and we found out at the end of the day that they didn’t fix anything because they didn’t have my parts.... what? After a good run around they found some unlabeled parts for the recall and fixed it, but it had to be done the next day so my 2 small kids and I were without a car for 2 days. Now I just made an appointment to get new tires put on my car. I called back a little while later because I forgot to ask for the price and found out through the parts department that the tires are not in stock... for my appointment tomorrow... really? Luckily he was great and said he’ll get them in right away, but what would have happened if I hadn’t called back? They should not be scheduling services if they do not have the parts to do the work, or should at least be making sure the parts are ordered as they are scheduling the appointment.

We pretty much knew what we were looking for before we arrived. The sales person was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn’t pressure us to buy more vehicle than we needed. After some friendly back-and-forth, we agreed on a fair price. The people in the financial office also were very nice and explained additional offerings without any pressure or over selling. The day/time that I bought my Explorer was probably less than ideal for Heritage... at 5:40 on a Friday, I called the dealership from Barre asking if they (Ryan) would stay open so I could come and take a look at the vehicle. I rolled in at 6:45. Ryan, Adam, and Abbey spent the next two and a half hours dealing with me and I left a very happy man. Being that it was three hours after they actually closed, Ryan still spent a decent amount of time prepping the vehicle so I could drive away in it. I am very satisfied with Heritage Ford Sales and I know that the service manager, Andy King, will always take care of my vehicle when I need to visit Heritage Ford Service.

Asked and checked the Internet photos of a car they had listed as excellent, drove 1.5 hours to find it scratched up on every panel and it had rust. They would not sell it for less than the full clean retail condition. The sales people were very polite yet unable to bring the price down to match the condition. I had a extremely specific request on the vehicle I wanted. Ariel Ballard was quite helpful in getting me a test-drive despite it being closing hours, and got the information she needed to further assist me. But at the same time, I felt like I was working with my neighbor and not someone selling vehicles. She then spent about 4 weeks searching for the type of vehicle I was looking for and kept good communications with me but without being pushy in any way. She hit the right balance, which was greatly appreciated. I would easily do business with her again. Also, I was quite pleased with the mechanics. My transmission went out less than 2000 miles before the warranty on it ran out. They replaced it without question and gave me a loaner vehicle as well. Like Ariel, they communicated well too.

I can't thank the Heritage Ford Service team enough! I also want to acknowledge Gary Graham, for his above and beyond customer service. It all started with my early morning commute to work at the Hospital and I feel victim to the great Vermont potholes. There was a large and deep pothole in my lane that was so big I was not abke to miss......I had 3 cars in the lane to my left so I could not swerve out if its way. Yes there it was......loud thumb, followed by the wheel pulling hard to the right, Grrrrr. I had popped both my passenger side tires instantly and nicked one of my rims. My tow truck driver from Handys graciously dropped me off at the hospital and brought my car to Heritage Ford on Shelburne Road. Upon calling Ford when they opened to make sure my car was there and to ket them know all my information I got connected with Gary, who truly helped keep me calm and helped answer all my MANY questions. The service department was very busy that whole day with already scheduled appointments and still Gary tried to squeeze my car in there that day. Unfortunately the team could not get it in but Gary did get me a car rental! Heritage did not have any extra cars on site avaiable for me to use so Gary contacted the outside car rental buisness and set everyrhing up for me to have a car. He even offered his shuttle service to pick me up at the hospital and bring me to the car rental buisness! I asked Gary if he could take pictures of the damage to my tires/rims from the pothole as I am making a claim on the state to be reimbursed for my costs from the large pothole on the state road. Gary took multiple photoes and emailed them to me right away. I was constantly updated on anything the team found and they did not do anything on my car without first educating me and getting permission to do the services needed. My car was ready the next day and was even able to leave the rental car with them to take care of for me as well! I was so happy to have my car back but also to put the face to Gary who originally was just a voice on my phone. So.......THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR "A+" CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

After having a rough experience with another local dealership, I found myself at Heritage Ford. I had just sold my current vehicle and was supposed to be buying another when after making a deposit, suddenly there weren't any vehicles available anymore. I found myself car-less and in a rush to find something else I'd be happy with. The first person I interacted with was Charlie. He was extremely friendly, informative, and helped me figure out that what I knew I liked, and what I thought I wanted, wouldn't help or make me as happy as what I wanted. I left having my faith restored in dealership sales. Although I purchased a used vehicle, I was not treated any differently than the other people buying new vehicles. Charlie was absolutely wonderful. I can't stop raving about him. Steve Connors was nice to talk to and helped me get to the payment I wanted while filling out the finance information. I was surprised at how well Steve worked, even with his hand in a cast! Corey went out of his way to stop by and talk to my husband and I while Charlie was gone prepping the car. He offered short, but nice conversation to help us pass the time. Everyone we interacted with at Heritage was wonderful, and I will most definitely be back in the future.

We purchased a 2016 F350 with cash 12/2018. It had 30k miles on it. It has had nothing but issues since, even needing to be towed 3 times. We use this vehicle for our business and it is costing us lost revenue every time it breaks down. We have had it less than 6 months and the dealership is refusing to return or replace this lemon, or even to extend the bumper to bumper warranty we purchased on it. Do not purchase from this dealership if you want a company who will stand by their vehicles.

I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle from this dealership a couple of months ago. I loved the treatment and attention I got from Michael Connolly (Mike). He is by far the best sales person I've ever encountered at a dealership. I've had some experiences with sales agents at dealerships before, including Ford (in NY), which have left me with a sense of distrust and disdain. Mike completely turned that around. He had cool, laid-back, open and honest attitude that inspired trust, which is very important and rare to find in this industry. He seemed like a very genuine individual and he made my experience very comfortable. I got no surprises (except pleasant ones) when it came to the financials or the performance of the vehicle (2013 Ford C-Max). Love the car. A couple years ago I brought my 2005 Ford Explorer in for some work on the rear tail light. Most 2005 Explorers have a crack on the rear tailgate near the logo from people slamming the top half of it when closing. Mine did not until I got it back from Heritage Ford. I noticed the crack a few hours after I brought it back. I got in contact with the manager telling him the situation and he just flat out denied it and said he saw the crack when I first brought it in. What he saw was another Ford Explorer the same year and color they were servicing that day. I noticed that vehicle when I dropped mine off. Heritage ford flat out denied that they cracked my tailgate and refused to make good on it. My tailgate remains cracked to this day. My service engine light just came on. I’m not sure where I’m going to bring it but I do know it won’t be Heritage Ford.

Called to confirm availability of a used F150. Offered to leave deposit, was advised they don't hold vehicles but will not sell them if a customer is on the way. Made (and confirmed) appointment for 9:00 AM the next day that they were open. At 7:45 AM, when were halfway to Burlington, Rich called to confirm the truck was available, all good. We arrived shortly before 9:00 AM, after driving 2 hours, the truck was parked out front. Waited about 15 minutes before Rich came out to inform us that, sorry, the truck was just sold. Waste of money and half a day of work. EXTREMELY poor experience, sorry that I can't give less than 1 star.

I have never really had a good experience at a dealer before. At Heritage, my last two experiences have been great. This summer, my van suddenly would not go into park. I drove it to Heritage and they put it right on the lift. This past Monday I showed up for a snow tire swap and it turns out I was a week early. They got me in the queue and swapped the tires anyway.

We purchased a 2016 F350 with cash 12/2018. It had 30k miles on it. It has had nothing but issues since, even needing to be towed 3 times. We use this vehicle for our business and it is costing us lost revenue every time it breaks down. We have had it less than 6 months and the dealership is refusing to return or replace this lemon, or even to extend the bumper to bumper warranty we purchased on it. Do not purchase from this dealership if you want a company who will stand by their vehicles.

Service department does not have their act together. I dropped a car off early in the morning because of a recall notice. I made the appointment prior week. I told the service department about the reason for me bringing it in when I made the appointment. Asked for an update early on. Never got an update. I called to check the progress and all I got was an extremely long wait (25 minutes) to TALK TO SOMEONE. Or an option for somebody to call me back. Left a message for somebody to call me back BUT NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. Kept calling but just got long waits and voice mail. FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO SOMEONE. The person who answered in the service department could not find me or my car in the system. I requested to talk to the person we spoke to when we dropped off the car. He said, oh yeah we don't have the part we will have to order it. It will probably be middle of next week we will call you. Never got a call! Most importantly when we made an appointment to fix the recall issue wouldn't you think they would have already ordered the PART!!!!????!!

I am absolutely thrilled with Abby and Kyle from heritage ford! They both helped me through the process of leasing my first car. With no credit report, and just having started my job as a stylist right out of cosmetology school, I was not expecting to be able to lease a car with no down payment. I'm paid biweekly and started 2 days after the pay period, so my first check won't be in until the end of August even though I started the first week of the month. Kyle and Abby were more than happy to work with me and get me set up. I would suggest heritage ford to anybody! The worst sloppy mechanics, I went to replace a coil and after couple weeks I had the same engine hesitating problem, they advised me to replace the engine ( more money in their pocket) then I said no and I ve checked the coil what they had replaced , It wasn’t hold right with the bolt what it supposed to hold the coil to the engine body. They brake the threads on the bolt and they didn’t bother to replace the bolt . So my coil was spinning around freely not being secured on the top of the spark plug, trash service people !

Although my new car did have a faulty gas gauge, which was no fault of anyone there but they let me use a rental at no charge while it was getting repaired. They did also fill the tank before purchase as a nice gesture!
