I can't say enough good things about them. I've had car issues traveling through Derby VT twice in the past 2 years. They made took in their schedule, dropped me off where I was staying and picked me up when the car is ready. Their work is guaranteed and underwritten by an insurance policy. in the past I have had very favorable experiences in repairs at their original previous location, lately due to owning a truck that decided to test my patience 2 weeks in a row had left me walking , I called for appointment at their new beautiful modern location, I was informed bring it right in for diagnosing repairs, was giving a ride home and picked up after repaired, shop has an extremely friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable front line staff, certified technicians you can trust, I was very satisfied with the service, can see a bright future for the FAMILY RUN store

Nice people but upsell upsell upsell way to much.. took my car to mechanic saturday to have my car check to make sure it would pass inspection.. brought it to Don's and oops u need a wheel bearing and my calipers need to be cleaned cause there dirty so they wont work right which is a safety hazard lol.. my point is my car is fine and nothing needs to be cleaned or changed.. be careful they are good sales people not so much auto people.. fyi I left and had to go back cause the guy forgot to put my air filter back in my car ..

One Place You Need To Check Out! Knew Scott's Dad for many years prior to Scott taking over after his Dad passed. A fantastic attitude of their customer relations being happy and satisfied. Every employee he has on staff in his new location reflects that same attitude. If you ask around and talk to the many long term customers they have acquired over the years you will hear the same story. Everyone has their own favorite mechanic and go to guy when in car trouble. But it never hurts in this day and age to check out another estimate. If you are not happy, then Don's Auto is not happy, especially Scott. He has the latest equipment in the state and diagnostic men who know how to run it. Especially with these new cars on the road today. A garage has to be equipped with the right tools and training. It's not a hit and miss because these new electronic parts are not cheap. There are more computer-related modules on the last few years cars out there than was on the Space Craft that landed on the moon. It never hurts to double or even triple check in this day and age. Came in for an appointment to get new snow tires put on (I was told elsewhere that I needed new ones). At Don’s auto they were completely honest and told me I could safely go another winter and spring with the snow tires I had on already. Never have I experienced such honesty from an auto shop. God bless them!

The dmv messed up my vin number on my new registration they gladly told us just come back when its straightened out and not a word about payment.
