Decent tire shop. I went in on a friday so it was a little hectic but I can tell they care about their customers. Was told I was getting a new tire and the one that was put on my car was made in 2014. Albeit the price was very cheap.

Complete dishonesty and shady work. I normally do all my own work to my vehicles, but I started doing the ball joints on my f350 a while back, and decided I didn't have the time to do it all in time, so I took it down the street from my house to Larkin to have them do them for me. (Brought my own MOOG joints in) I paid them almost 500 dollars to do just the passenger side ball joints and give me a front end alignment. I left to grab a drink and came back inside only to hear the owner (Mr Larkin?) and the manager complaining that I had brought my own balljoints and that we shouldn't even be doing it because that's how they make their money, HA! As soon as they saw me, they immediately shut up. After all was said and done I went to get safety inspection done and my passenger side ball joints had already come loose, no big deal, I took it in to have them tighten them up and check over everything. (It had been maybe a month or so) They said "There's no way we did these for you, we don't even have a wrench or socket big enough to fit over the nut." Luckily I had the receipt with me, along with the work order. So i waited for them to go buy a socket big enough, they tightened it up, and I asked to have them check the alignment. They agreed and a few minutes later he comes up and says that my truck doesnt fit on the alignment rack..confused I asked him what I previously paid 80 dollars for if my truck didn't fit on the rack..he said "We must not have done the alignment, or we did it by hand" Thats great and all, but not for 80 dollars! I could do it with a tape measure, but i wanted it done right! Anyway, long story short, it seemed like a great place, and were decent guys, but my experience was pretty upsetting, especially after denying everything and treating my like I was stupid. Definitely wont be going back. PS my (MOOG) balljoints are loose again on the passenger side, wonder why.

Horrible service every time i go in. This was the absolute last time. It is not acceptable to address me as little lady, i may be female but that is no excuse to talk down to me and belittle. This time i was never greeted, he left the room for ten minutes with me standing there holding my keys. And then when he did return he helped the new person who had arrived. This is the third strike do not go here.

I appreciated the quick response to get me in late in the afternoon, for a complete tire replacement of four tires.I also appreciated being transported to and from my office, Thank you! The mechanic however that put the tires on I Believe Miss-diagnosed, additionalTire issues by diagnosing that my car's rack and pinions we're out on the passenger side, and causing leakage. This is a very expensive repair to a car...... . I took the car into my Hyundai dealer in the morning and give them the diagnosis. They had two mechanics examine and test, with absolutely nothing wrong. The only leakage was from a faulty oil filter....and my tires were not balanced....both we're fixed quickly.

Let me preface this by saying that I have had one other experience with Larkin and it wasn't bad. I think the difference was that the first time I knew exactly what I needed. When you don’t know what you need, they seem to take advantage of that and rip you off. I read the negative reviews on here about these guys ripping people off, but I let convenience trump that since I live pretty close to the shop. Plus my first experience wasn't bad. Boy was I wrong. I should have heeded the warnings coming from these reviews. This last experience I had with them left me never wanting to go back. My brakes were squeaking. I couldn't tell if it was the front or rear brakes, but sometimes it was pretty loud so I thought it might be the front brakes. I took it in to Larkin and told them my brakes were making noise and it sounded like it might be coming from the front, but I wasn't sure. They said they would fix the problem. After the service was done, I was pulling out of their parking lot and the brakes squeaked a little. As I went down the street, there was loud rattling noise coming from under the car. When I came to a stop at the light, the brakes squeaked just like before I took the car in. I immediately turned around and went back to the shop. I talked with the technician this time (instead of the owner) and he said the front brakes weren't very bad, but the squeaking was most likely coming from the back due to the rotors on the back being glazed over. When I asked him why the problem wasn't fixed, he said that the owner told him that I just wanted my front brakes replaced, so that is all he did. When I asked about the rattling noise, he said the dust plate was put on wrong. So in the end, they charged me $170 to replace brakes that didn't need replacing (and did a poor job at it as well) and the problem I went in there for was not even addressed. This owner will take advantage of every opportunity to get money out of his customers. A real scam artist. I will never come here again.

I noticed a nail in my rear passenger tire and went straight to Larkin Tire Factory - which now operates as 'Point S Tire and Auto Service'. The same gentleman (Jack) that has helped me for the last 20 years took great care of me. They didn't try to upsell me or change my windshield wipers, and I was back on the road in 15 minutes for under $20. This is a great local business.

I went over to get an oil change at Walmart and they laughed at me like I was stupid for wanting a fully synthetic oil change! I told them it was rude to laugh at their customer like that and drove across the street to Larkin! Larkin went above and beyond to help me with my oil change, checked alignment, and changed my headlight for me too! I usually go to Larkin but thought I might get some grocery shopping done at the same time... nnnnnnever again! Larkin ever time all the way! The Service is worth it.

They gouged up my custom Boyd Coddington wheel for my show car. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. Horrible - and they won't do anything about it. I learned after taking these wheels and tires to a big O, that they are reverse mount and the tire is mounted from the back, not front. This shows me how little they know about tires. I would NOT recommend. $650 wheel fubar'd.

I like going here because they treat you fairly. When I have went to other places I get a huge sales pitch and am told I need to replace my air filter along with wipers.... The funny thing is that I had just replaced both these items!! Anybody that has went to the chain oil change places knows what I'm talking about. I never have this kind of pressure at Larkin tires. They review everything and make simple suggestions if I actually need work done. They are also fairly priced.

A few months ago I went in to have a puncture repaired. When they put the tire back on the rim, they ignored the mark I had put on the tire to keep the tire and rim lined up, so the tire was out of balance. I took it back and they rebalanced it. To day I got another puncture in the same tire, and was near another shop, so I went in there to have it repaired. The tire could not be repaired because Larkin had torn the bead when they repaired the tire.

I would definitely recommend Larkin Tire! We purchased our tires at another Larkin Tire in Moab while on vacation last year. Recently one tire blew when it hit a curb. Because we had purchased a warrantee on the tires, we only had to pay $22 to cover the cost of installation. It was seamless between the two different franchises. Jack and Judy are the nicest people. My tire wasn't in stock so I had to return a different day. Judy remembered me and took care of everything without the need to explain it all to her again. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is they didn't put my spare tire back. Maybe that isn't common, but I would think it would be part of the overall service. Otherwise, stellar service.

Will never go to that place ever again! I watched one of the workers swear up a storm and threw my expensive wheel onto the concrete with the bead broke on the tire. And now I have to replace my own wheel because it is all messed up. The owner confronted the worker and he said he dropped it. I watched him get angry and he threw it. Owner will not replace my will even though it was his workers fault that it's all messed up. Worst experience ever.

Went there because my wife had a nail in her tire. We had gone to Wal-Mart first and they said they couldn't do anythingng about it and a new tire was needed. So we went to Larkin for a second opinion. With no wait or hesitation they had us pull into a bay to check it out. They quickly pulled it out and checked to make sure it didn't go through the tire enough to cause any damage. No new tire or repairs were needed. They then proceeded to check the pressure of all 4 tires and filled 1 that was low. I asked how much I owed and said that there was no charge. They were beyond helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Although I didn't have to buy anything, I will now be going there for anything automotive related. They truly earned a new loyal customer with they honesty, friendliness and helpfulness.

First experience with Larkin I was quoted 550 for snow tires, I had them put on my corolla and ended up getting charged over 700 out the door. Still not the most frustrating experience... So they offer to store your summer tires and they give me tags to bring in when I come back. I came back today and they spent the first hour searching for my tires and tried to convince me I took them home. Finally they found three, tried to sell me a not so similar 4 tire and when I refused to accept the wrong tire I immediately became the victim of the owners frustration. I asked him to order the matching tire and put my snow tires back on and he grudgingly agreed but told his mechanic in front of me not to balance them as if it was my mistake. He claims he will credit me for half the wear of the new tire but um... What about the two hours I took off work to do this ??? Are you going to credit me 50 dollars for wasting my time? and i still have to come back, during work! I think at this point just give me the new tire as a peace offering! I will never come here again.

Two days ago I took my car to Larkin Tire Factory in Pleasant Grove to buy a set of four new tires. I was told my car was done and I was good to and the keys were in the car. As I walked out to the bay I asked the mechanic if I was good to take my car, he looked at my and didn't say anything so I asked again and he said yes you are good to go. I got in my car and started it up and started down state street. My car didn't feel right it was a little wobbly so I pulled over and my brother and sister ( who were following) pulled over behind me. I had my brother get in my car and I went about another ten feet down the road and we decided to pull into the Maverick, as I pulled in my tire completely fell off. My driver side front fender was bent so I could not even open the driver side door. I called Larkin and they sent a mechanic in a truck who didn't even come prepared with the right fittings for the tork wrench so he put my tire back on by hand and had me follow him back to Larkin. The owners Judy and Jack were somewhat apologetic and said they would have the work done by a company of their choosing which I agreed to. When I asked about a refund for the service I was told there would be no refund and they were going to take care of my car but as for a refund I got what I paid for. I was told I was paying for the tires and road hazard. As most of my friends a family know I commute to work, I feel unsafe in my car now and feel like I was kind of screwed. I also don't know how I am supposed to trust a company to help me in a hazardous situation when my first experience with them they caused a hazard. What if I had made it to the freeway or what if someone was injured because of the negligence of the mechanic working on my car? Thank god this didn't happen but as for getting what I paid for this is not what I paid for. Moral of the story... don't go to Larkin. Next time I will be going to Costco.

Didn't keep their word on promised services. I used a coupon for a BOGO oil change on 2 cars and since we were close to (not past) the expiration date, the owner wrote a special note on the coupon and receipts that they would still honor the coupon at a later date since I wouldn't need an oil change for several months after the initial service. When I returned, the same owner refused to do the full service even when I showed him the note he himself wrote and was curt and rude in turning me away. They did good work, just disappointing that they didn't follow up on their word.

I so appreciated Josh's honestly today. We were told by the dealership we needed an alignment for $90. Josh did an alignment check and said we were still within the parameters of not needing it. They made no money off us today because thats all we went in for. Worst Place ever! i fixed my cars rack and pinion. drove like a brand new car. took it here for an alignment. i needed to bring it back because they didnt do the job. it started pulling to the right. after i brought it back they said it was leaking (i did full tests on it and it wasnt leaking.) then parked my car and it started leaking radiator fluid everywhere. leaves me thinking that they are messing with my car but they didnt do the alignment at all. RUDE EMPLOYEES. i would never recommend this place ever

*BEWARE* Larkin Tire Factory will up-sell you on any service you get with them and they hire unqualified technicians that don't know their way around a car. I can honestly say I have saved over $1,000 by not listening to the extra services they told me I needed. Ask any local parts store worker or any mechanic in town what they think of Larkin and I'll bet you they wont say anything good about them.

Best local place to get tires. The Point-S service allows you to get free repairs nationwide, and I love supporting local ma-and-pop shops. This one is a perfect example. They have given us great service so many times. They seem to have better prices when compared around to other local places. One time my daughter was having trouble getting her tires on properly. She would tighten them down, but the tires would wobble a little. She drove the car in, and they did it for free. Great place!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Last month we went in to get new tires and $430 later we got new tires AND a BUSTED air suspension. They obviously had no clue what they were doing and didn't flip off the switch which resulted in blown out air suspension. The manager was extremely rude, not understanding, and denied that his workers did not do anything wrong. He blamed it on the age of the air suspension bags but when we picked up our car, the workers apologized and said they heard a loud pop when they were jacking up our Lincoln. After talking to three local mechanics they told us that it is CRUCIAL to turn off the air suspension before jacking up the car, therefore it was Larkin Tire Factory's fault and they should fix what they broke. Long story short, they refused to work with us and wanted to charge us an additional $300 (labor and parts) to fix their mistake. Working with them was an absolute joke. They are dishonest and not trustworthy. We will never ever go here again and would advise everyone to NEVER GO HERE.

Got a set of tires for a great price and there was timely and professional installation. However, a year later the tires were clearly not good quality and I had moved out of state so I called to see what could be done. Message after message remained unanswered. I was told I would get a call back but never did, I always had to make the call. Solutions were given that were not possible because Jack (the owner) was not listening or remembering previous conversations. Had I done what he recommended it would have compromised the tires and they would not have been safe to drive on. He didn't listen and it could have turned out bad. On our last conversation nearly 3 months after seeking resolution he got very angry, raised his voice and hung up on me. So basically I am out the $450 I spent for tires that lasted less than 1/2 the mileage they were supposed to. If you are looking for customer service, DO NOT GO HERE, they appear nice, but they conveniently forgetful and unkind when warranty is involved. And I feel that I was sold an inferior product. They should do more research before the sell tires.
