These guys...Travis, Jim, Addy and the rest; are the best. They are reasonable and very honest. Long story short, I have an older BMW (2003), and I like to use it for work. Having a BMW, no matter how new the car is; these guys could hang me out to dry with the cost of parts. I had an engine light issue; thinking it was a sensor, I was panicking. They did an assessment and fortunately for me and very grateful for their honesty, it was only a vacuum leak. No cost, no more engine light. I do all my business, with all my cars, at Jays Tire Pro in Bounty, Ut!

I was quoted 45 minutes when I arrived for a pre purchase inspection. After an hour and a half, and me walking out to see where the vehicle was at, Angel came out to go get it for me. The vehicle also started making a “clink” noise when hitting a manhole in the road after this (possibly a tool, but I need a lift to properly get under it and find out). I had driven the vehicle on the highway and around town without the music on for about 30 minutes prior to bringing it to them and the sound was not there before the inspection. Could this be a coincidence? Sure. But the odds are not good for it to be. I purchased the vehicle because they couldn’t see any major problems with it, but it will definitely be getting looked at and fixed at another location. I have gone to Jays before, and they were GREAT, but not this time. What happened guys?? ***Edit*** I took my wife's car in to get a tire fixed. While I had to call to verify that the tire arrived, the service was much better for the initial tire visit and then the actual warranty/replacement when compared to the first visit from above. I had regular staff helping me this time instead of what I can only guess were after school employees. Thank you for helping to get it fixed!

Jays Tire is by far the best tire shop that I have ever been to. My son needed new tires and of course had not saved money for them. His car took an odd size. We called around and everyone quoted 175+ per tire. His car has a lot of miles and he did not need 80000 mile tires. Jays looked and found new tires that someone ordered and never came for. We paid 69.00 per tire. Not only that but they stayed late to mount them. I will definitely do business with them again.

I purchased my tires and lift here. That experience was good until I checked out and they added a fee for using my credit card. Wasn’t enough spending 5k w them, they had to charge me for using my credit card. Someone is pinching pennies at the expense of good business. Unfortunately I then started going there for oil changes. In the second round they left the oil plug loose and oil leaked all over my garage. Needless to say I went somewhere else.

I ordered tires online last year and had them delivered to Tire Pros in Bountiful. They were professional and fast and I appreciated the service...fast forward to Feb 2019 and today I went in with no appointment to have my tires rotated (different truck) and have the suspension lift checked for a noise ... Travis "Red" Uffens took care of me...they spent over an hour first rotating the tires, and then most of the time trying to diag the source of the issue with the suspension....They did all this.....and refused to let me pay them...just asked that I come back.... Being new to the area from Nevada and having this kind of experience was not only unexpected but they earned a customer for life. I run the sales dept for a European Auto brand here in Davis county and I know what service expectations people have...this was not expected but definitely appreciated.... Thanks Red ! your team is Solid...

I have been so faithful to this place. It’s conveniently up the street from where I live. Usually get my tires rotated and oil changed. Well today I went in to have my emissions completed, my car isn’t old and barley pushing 50,000 (Subaru Impreza) miles. They have seen me and my husband time and time again. The guy comes back and says our check engine came on and we didn’t pass. Need to come back tomorrow to get it fixed. Mind you check engine light has NEVER come on since I’ve had the car. In my mind I’m thinking fix it; obviously y’all did something. Well they couldn’t charged; us 33.00 (which money isn’t an issue), it’s like we went in well and left sick. So I called another place; took my car there. Turns out something was unplugged and I received my emissions with a pass. Not going back. Out of all mechanic companies I thought I could trust this one. Guess not! Seasons come and go! I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I don’t even want to give 1 star but I have to.

Wednesday late in the evening my work van did a Big Bang and then would not go forward anymore. Turned out to need a new transmission. Had it dropped off Thursday morning. The trans it needed had to be built then installed. Jays had it back to me Saturday about noon working just as it should. This is my work vehicle and time was of the essence. They did a great job and had me back on the road it no time. I would highly recommend Jays.

I purchased rims and tires including a spare tire from Jays. Within 4 months of having the tires I was on the beach and got a flat. The spare that they had given me did not work with my truck. They also told me at the time of purchase that I needed to purchase another Jack,that my truck did not have one. That was false I looked where the Jack was supposed to be and there it was brand new never been used. When attempting to change the tire on my truck two of the bolts were cross-threaded and spun/broke off.When I brought this issue up with Jays they said that they would take care of it, little did I know nothing could have been further from the truth . 3 weeks later I was then told that there had been damaged to the spacer for which they were not able to fix and another spacer would need to be purchased for 100 dollars. My truck had 1 Inch spacers on the tires, they said 1 Inch spacers are very hard to find and they would suggest to go to an inch and a quarter and purchase 4 for 4x the price. I refuse to pay for what they damaged, they said how could I prove that it was them and not another shop ,trying to put the blame away from them. When they had originally said it would be no problem. After a 15 to 20-minute argument I asked to speak to the manager or owner. They said that he was unavailable at that time. I left my name and number to have the owner call me. This never happened, after waiting a month I jumped online and bought the 1 Inch spacers at one-fourth the cost that they were going to charge me, it only took me about 20 minutes on line to find them . Then I had another mechanic (which was aware of the situation) put them on which he happily did at no cost. An honest mechanic is worth his weight in gold if you are looking for honest work on your vehicle stay away from Jays!!! I will not be returning!!!

As a Company we had used Burt Brothers for years, I made the change to Jays Tire Pro a little over a year ago. They are very attentive to our needs. The pricing is very competitive. The staff at Jays takes care of our every need in a timely manner. We buy alot of tires for our pickup fleet as well as frequent oil changes. We have had minor to major engine and transmission repairs performed and there pricing as well as down time has been very good. The staff Jay,Jim,Shay,Dustin etc. are very devoted to there customers. I would recommend Jays tire Pro to anyone who is looking for good pricing and excellent customer service.

This is one of the best auto shops I have ever been to. The staff is so nice and personable. Went in last week to have my brakes checked after Jiffy Lube told me that they were no good when I had just recently had them replaced. They put it up and assured me my brakes were brand new. A few days later when my car had a flat tire, I gave them a call and they sent a mechanic over to fill it up with enough air to get it into their shop. They proceeded to fix my tire free of charge. This company deserves more than 5 stars. Couldn't be happier with the service I have received both times from them. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for quality work and trust worthy people. Thank you, Tire Pros!

Had a tire blowout on a relatively new set of tires purchased here. The warranty did not cover the tire which I was disappointed about. After some negotiation, they agreed to provide a replacement tire at cost and did not charge me for the install. I hoped they would stand behind the tires 100%, but it seemed like a fair compromise.

The only reason why I like this place is because of Jay (the owner) and Shay (one of his salesman). If you were to take your business here, I recommend dealing with one of these two. They are really nice guys and will treat you right. I'm not the biggest fan of the rest of the guys because I have had bad experience with the other salesmen/managers. The guys out in the shop are great guys as well and will do the job right the first time.

One year ago I took a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to Jay's Tire Pros in Bountiful, UT to have it checked prior to purchase. I was warned about major repairs, in writing, that would have to be addressed to the tune of about $2000.00. They refused payment for the service and only requested that I trust them for future service. I didn't purchase that Jeep. My family has relied on Jay's Tire Pros eight times the past 12 months and received exemplary treatment and service. It's nice to know that my wife is comfortable with taking her vehicle to Jay's Tire Pros for advice and/or service without me.

Was promised prompt service for a simple tire and oil check for our RV. After navigating to the location, went in to speak to our contact, was told they would not be able to get to our vehicle until later in the afternoon, when we clearly stated we would need to be on the road no later than 3pm. I'm sure these guys do great work, but my initial experience didn't meet my expectations of just drop it off and we will take care of it. Being reasonable, I get the fact it will take time, but dont offer, entice us in driving to have the RV serviced and being given a different timeline. Lesson learned, hopefully on both sides. I went into Jay's for registration, safety and emissions with my 2 year old and 1 year old. Although the staff was nice, we waited 2 hours. There are no toys, nothing like there is at Burt Brothers. Burt Brothers provides toys, fun channels, water, vending machines they provide a comfortable environment for the moms who come in to get things done while their husbands are at work. I asked for the wait time in the beginning and I was told a hour tops. It would have been nice if someone could have told me it was going to take longer or even a "sorry about that wait" at the end when I paid. I got nothing. Does safety and emissions really take that long? It wasn't even busy when I got there.

There are tire shops all over and many closer to where I live, but I come to Jay's for the honesty. How many times does a mechanic tell you something is not needed? It's rare. I came in today needing a second opinion on a flat tire that Toyota Bountiful was recommending be replaced. They looked at the tire, found and fixed the leak, mounted the tire, stowed the spare and had me out the door in 10 minutes. Oh, and the price was $0. I have been and will continue to be a customer for life. Thanks Jay!

Jay, the owner, happened to be at his store even though it was closed for the day. He was happy to get our truck in, and he fixed the tire. This place is not even worth 1 * all I needed done to my car was take my new tire and mount and balance it on the rear of my car where my spare currently is instead 3 hours later they take the new tire put it on the front take my front tire put it in the trunk and leave my spare tire on the rear so then I had to go back to the shop and have them take the front tire move it to the rear take the rear tire unmount it put the spare tire back in the trunk and take my old tire and put it on front where it originally was 3 hours to screw up 3 tires instead of a simple 20 minutes to change one tire. Jokers and they name themselves tire pros? My front tires are different size than the backs so I ended up with the left side big tires and the right smaller.IDIOTS! They didn't even call me to say it was done.so I just showed up and lost 1/2 day of work then go back to get it right and wait an hour more. High School shop could have got this right DO NOT.TAKE YOUR CAR OR TIRE HERE NOT EVEN YOUR BICYCLE!!! They will give u back a skateboard and charge you double.

Was quoted $79.95 for an alignment, ended up paying $91.86. There was a credit card fee, which is understandable, but also a $4.40 "materials charge" fee that is apparently standard with every alignment. It's not that much money, but the deceit behind it is why I'll never go back or recommend this place. And 5 dollars extra from every customer getting a standard alignment adds up for them, I'm sure.

Very honest, Needed a brake check because my front end was shaking. Was told my rotors were warped and needed new ones. Fair enough I told him I was going to order new ones and he said cool 35$ I'll put them on. Awesome. Fast forward a week I bring in the new rotors and they replace my rotors for me. It took about 20 min and they did a fantastic job. Brakes were smooth as butter after the replacement. Honest, personable, empathetic.. great local place

Recently had tires installed at jay's tire pros. I was checking my brakes and when trying to remove the left rear wheel one of the wheel bolts sheared off. All the wheel bolts were too tight. Went in to see if they would fix it and they were going to charge me for something that would have happened the next time I got nit tires rotated. Not very impressed with the service on this issue.

They don't even rate one star.Brought a flat to Jays to be fixed.They told me that it had a hole in the sidewall and had been run on flat and my warranty wouldn't cover it. Funny thing was, my wife drove it to work for a customer service meeting just fine but the tire was flat when she came out.We checked the tire over carefully including the sidewall before leaving her work and there were no marks anywhere and no nails in the treads.I told him that he was full of it and then he said she must of hit a curb.I just bought new tires for my SUV from them about a month ago and have been a longtime customer.Some customer service.Buyers beware.Just one more note.just checked out my bad tire and it's not even mine.The year and date on the tire is different than my others.It has a noticeable hole in in the sidewall and one in the treads.They switched tires on me.They are a dishonest bunch of thieves.I wish the he'll I could take my new tires back.

Good, honest guys. After paying for a tire and wheel and TPMS sensor swap on my new truck, one of the TPMS sensors were damaged in the process. Jay’s tire pros made sure to make things right. Although I had to leave the truck with them all day, they took care of it and even brought it to the dealer to get it programmed right when they didn’t have the right tools. The only complaint I had were missing valve caps one two tires when I had the tire job done the first time and after the TPMS sensor replaced, another one was missing. I’m not sure why they didn’t get put back on, but I had some spares so I just replaced the missing ones rather than heading back in. Anyway, great that even though they made a mistake and damaged my sensor, they made sure to make things right. Even came to my office to pick me up and bring me to the shop to get my truck when the job was done. I’ll for sure use these guys again.

This place is amazing. They won't rip you off, they won't upsell you. They tell you what is wrong and give you solutions. I live about 20-30 miles away from Tire Pros and I will always go to them. I had a check engine light come on, took it in they looked over my ENTIRE vehicle and found the issue. They are great guys. Let me preface this review by saying that my in-laws are from this area and have been using Jay's Tire Pros for years. They have only had positive things to say. They are trust worthy, fair, honest, and quick with repairs. Naturally, with that type of trust, I took an old Honda Civic in for a pre-purchase appointment to their shop. For $70, they did an extremely detailed inspection of the car. I ended up passing on that car because it had way to many issues. I was fortunate enough to then buy a used Mazda car from Jay's Tire Pros that they had just rebuilt. I've been driving the Mazda for a while now. It runs like a champ and was a much better option than the junker Civic. I feel so much better about this used car purchase knowing that these guys did all the needed tune ups and repairs before I bought it. I'd highly recommend this mechanic shop.

My wife is going on a long trip next week and needed some work done on a leaky tire. I've always been the one to take care of these things but my work schedule and the urgency of the fix dictated otherwise. I called and asked if they could schedule an appointment, to which they replied "Just bring it on in anytime!" It was a little suspicious and I expected my wife to be there for quite a while. Here's how the experience actually went: She brought the car in, they immediately took the car into the back and started working on it (leaky back right tire). After 45 minutes or so, they had removed the tire, checked the battery on the pressure sensor, fixed a broken stem core and cleaned the entire rim of the tire. Total bill? I'm not sure they'd want me to advertise what they charged me... it was low. As a bonus, they threw in friendliness and courtesy that I'm certainly not used to. This shop knows customer service and seems to be more than honest. I will go back there for any future tire-related issues
