I took in my truck that is new to me to get the wheels swapped out. While there I got called in to work. I asked the front counter guy how much longer so I knew my timeline. I was not trying to be pushy or anything. He was so nice and asked the tech. You would have thought I killed his dog. He was telling at people about my truck. He was throwing my old tires in the bed. Slamming the tailgate. Would not acknowledge me standing there, he just threw the keys down and walked off. The front counter people were all great, but I don't appreciate the tech beating up my truck. Sorry if I was an inconvenience for him I don't need to bug you anymore. I would give it lower rating but everyone else was so helpful.

We had to get our engine replaced, and these guys found a replacement and had us up and running in a week. When we got the car back, the AC wasn't working, so we took it back to the shop in case it had something to do with the engine replacement. When we went back, they were swamped with work but moved us to the front of the line to test our AC (in case it was an error on their part). Turns out it had run out of freon, so they filled it up for us and only charged for the refill, not the testing. The point is, this shop treats you well and does good work for a reasonable price. What more could you want from an auto shop?

Burt Brother's is a company that our family (kids, parents and grand parents) have gone to for years. So when the following experience happened to my daughter yesterday I was very disappointed. My trust has been dissolved by the honesty of a salesman at Burt Brothers in Bountiful in regards to service visit my daughter had yesterday. She was told while doing her vehicle registration at an emission and inspection facility who only did those services that her vehicle was running hot and needed to have the vehicle looked at. She went to Burt Brothers in Bountiful to have the car looked at. They said that it was possibly the thermostat but could be something else in which they could look things over in regards to the temperature and do a diagnostic. Not knowing anything about what they were talking about she had them do the diagnostic as it seemed like that was their preference between the two choices. Of course they found it to be the thermostat as most any mechanic would have suggested to check and change first. Before my call in to them questioning the bill they were going to charge my daughter over $300 for a service to replace a $15 part (which by the way they were charging $45 for, claiming that they had to pay more than a nobody purchasing the same part from an auto store). If that gouging wasn't enough they suggested that they could finish her vehicle registration and emission testing, knowing full well that she would have to pay them again for service she already paid for from the vehicle emission and inspection facility she just came from. I'm disappointed and I'm not sure if we'll be back with such dishonesty!

Our Family has always gone to Burt Brothers for Tire needs, In May, I needed 4 new tires for 17'' VW rims, we choose the entry level "Kelly Edge", dropped it off at 11am on a Saturday (was told it wouldn't be done till 5) we got a call to come pick it up at 3. I have had entry level Kelly Tires before on 14'' Honda Civic & they were fine. But I only choose to write this because Im VERY happy with the Entry Level Kelly Edge Tires, SO quite, So Smooth. Im very happy with what B.B. has for a entry level tire. . Hopefully I can afford a middle or high end tire next tire purchase, I can only imagine how those would drive. Also needed a alignment/strut repair. June is almost over & my tires are broken in. Proper, Clean waiting room, with plenty beverage options.

This place has lost my business as they have lost all respect for people’s time, and do not make customer service a priority. Just got done picking up my vehicle that has been there since 8am to get a tire fixed wth a nail in it, and was assured that it would get done by 5pm, and when it wasn’t done by 4pm, I was assured it would still get done soon. Now at 6pm, it still wasn’t done, even when all the bays were open and they didn’t appear busy. I picked up my vehicle and will be going to Les schwab from now on. This is the second incident in 2 months with 2 different vehicles...this place has gone way down hill!!

The reason why I gave you one star is because I call around all the Bert brothers to get estimates for repairs needed for my vehicle Every single Bert brother said something different. People of bountiful make sure you do research before you get a repair done at this location because they will give you a higher estimate then needed for your repairs. If you want honesty from repair shop you have to do your homework 1st They love to rip off women and elderly folks because they don't know any better. Best advice to give call all repair shops and go with the lowest one but make sure you do not tell Bert brothers the quote . Now you've got best advice I can give For these money hungry deceivers.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I’ve never had such a good experience at a car repair shop. I had a small accident and soon after my car started to overheat, they were packed for the day but said they would check my car as soon as they could. Within an hour they called me and told me what was going on, ran test on my car and let me know my car was ready to be picked up. All the employees were nice and helpful. If I could give extra stars to this place I absolutely would.

These guys have GREAT customer service! ! I went to them for two reasons, to get advice about my A/C, and a tire rotation. I walked in Saturday morning and Matt greeted me in a very warm, cheerful way. He helped me feel comfortable, in a car repair shop... where I would not normally be comfortable. From that moment, I knew Matt, and his team, would take care of my car and my concerns. They did the tire rotation (no charge-since I bought tires from them), and checked out my A/C and confirmed that it wasn't working. Then, he gave me an estimate of the repair cost, and recommended I wait until Spring to do the repair (since I probably wouldn't need the A/C during the fall/winter). He also invited me to come back if I hear any sounds that concern me. AND, even though they were busy, he came out to my car to answer a quick question on preventive maintenance. I was in and out in about an hour. Thank you, Burt Brothers!

Had a flat on the freeway and because of the 2 piece type of wheel bolts on the car I had multiple bolts that had swollen and stripped. I had it towed to Burt brothers and they got the stripped ones off and got new bolts from the dealership. Because the tire was badly damaged I decided to wait on the replacement and just had them change all my snow tires over. They got it all done and didn’t even charge labor for the trouble with the bolts, just charged me for the parts and the snow tire change over. I’d get all my service done at Burt Brothers if they had an Ogden area location. They should open one in the Ogden/Layton area ‘hint hint Burt Brothers’.

We had new tires put on our diesel a few weeks ago at the Farmington store, we were on our way out with our 30ft trailer to go camping when someone flagged us and told us our tire was low. Turns out, our valve stem had cracked meaning the person who put our tires on didn't replace our valve stem to begin with. We pulled into the busy Bountiful location, told them the story and they quickly got it fixed and sent us on our way! We are very impressed that they made sure we were in and out so quickly! These guys are fantastic! I kept getting a low tire pressure warning & it seemed my right rear tire was losing air. This happened several times in a few weeks. When I stopped they added air to my tires but the right rear seemed to be a problem. I went in this past Friday to have them check it out & it seems I had a nail in it. They got me right in. Much to my surprise, they fixed it at no charge. I would recommend that if need need tires or service you give them a go. You won't be sorry.

Most occasions they are a great experience. Recently we took our Porsche Cayanne in for new tires and an oil change. I talked with the sales person in advance so they could have the necessary tires and oil filter brought in. No issues with the tires. The oil change had problems. The oil change bay did not have the equipment necessary to update the car and remove the Change Oil notification but we were not notified of that up front. I took it back a week later because it was leaking oil. The assured me then that it was not leaking oil, it was just oil from the oil change that was not cleaned up. I found out then that it would cost additional money to reset the car Oil Change needed indicator (not disclosed up front). This type of information should be disclosed up front prior to work beginning and some education given to those behind the desk on how to handle the situation, the manager acted like he was doing us a huge favor to have his mechanic reset the code for us. Vehicle continued to show signs of oil leak. I took to the dealer and the oil drain plug had been over-torqued by the person doing the oil change, causing it to crack. I don't think they are equipped or have the know how to work on higher-end vehicles. They have always done great work with my Honda.

I would give them a negative 5 stars if that was an option. I will never return to any Burt Brothers location again. Let me tell you what happened to me so that you can avoid their bull crap. I took my car in with problems with the electronic steering. After doing a diagnosis of which they charged me $100, they said that it would cost $800 to fix it. They told me that they had called around to dealerships to see if there was any recall for anything related to my problem and that there was no such recall. The only option was to have them ship in the parts which weren't available locally and to fix it for the $800. After talking to them I called the Jerry Seiner dealership that is essentially across the street and with a quick glance at the VIN number they verified that there was in fact a recall on that very thing. Within a couple hours I had everything fixed at Jerry Seiner and it didn't cost me a dime. I am out $100 for a Burt Brothers employee to lie to me without any hesitation. I will never trust them again. If you are smart neither will you.

They are super nice (I wanted to give them no stars, but I guess I can say that the one star they get is because they were so nice); however, I was very disappointed in the service. I took in my car yesterday because I was hearing some banging noises in the back. I knew it was something to do with my suspension. When Burt Brother's looked at it, they said that my coil spring was bad and that my shocks were old and needed to be replaced. They quoted me at $1100. I'm no expert but it seemed like a lot for coil springs and shocks. Regardless, I said I would take it somewhere else. I went home to check it out myself. As soon as I got my tire off, it was clear that my shock had completely broken off of the frame of my car. The coil springs looked fine so I decided to just replace the shocks myself. One hundred dollars and 3 hours later, the car was working like new. Two things that concerned me about Burt Brother's diagnostic: 1) the coil spring replacement is what made up most of that $1100 they quoted me, but clearly the coil springs were fine; 2) They said my shocks were old and should be replaced, but they weren't just old, one was completely broken. I don't know how they missed that. Needless to say, I will not go back there again.

It’s always a great experience when we take our vehicles to Burt Brothers in Bountiful. Every time we walk in the door Glenn or Matt are calling us by name and asking how we are. They are always so friendly and happy to help. Phil in the lube center is the same way whenever we come in for an oil change. Always calling me by name and asking how we are. My wife broke both her elbows a couple years ago and they even check up on her. Alan, Kevin and Gavin are also awesome whenever we come in as well. I was told that the wait would be 45 minutes, and it was less. To my surprise, I was not charged for tire repair. Careful- if you take your car for an oil change you will get a call later asking if they also want you to fix x,y and z. I used to take them at their word because I had been told they were honest. But this last time they recommended an expensive service I was for me saying the car needed it badly- even though you do it every five years and I had done it a year prior at a dealership. Nice try. Now I wonder how many unnecessary repair jobs they have done on my cars over the years.

I had a great experience at Burt Brothers Matt was our service agent and he was so helpful he even special ordered our tires to come in from the warehouse in a timely manner he was so friendly and very accommodating! The waiting area was clean and there were toys for my kids to play with as well as hand sanitizer for the public to use!! The restrooms were spotless! The staff even changed the channel on the T.V. to a kid friendly show! The service was amazing the staff checked in with me during the service and they even gave each of my kids a free soccer ball just for coming in today! We will defiantly be coming back for our oil and tire services! Thanks Burt Brothers and Matt!

Shouldn't get a star at all. I asked them if they honor Firestone warranty. They said yes but didn't tell us that they would charge for labor when Firestone warranty includes free Labor in their warranty. If they would have told us we would have gone clear far south to West Jordan to get it done at Firestone. Then try to talk to the Manager Matt i think was his name. He was like two people on the phone all apologetic at first & then telling me that he'll believe his coworker's over me. Then telling me their best in the state & that their taking care of Firestone customers the best they can. & that i should be a big boy & accept it.

Awesome. They all showed interest in me being there. I have never gone there for thinking their prices were higher than others. First time there and I will go there from now on. Cost a bit higher in price from Wal-Mart but the service and quality of oil was worth the cost. I was a customer and not a number. Thanks guys! Next time I will leave a tip, sorry I forgot this time.

This place is a ripoff. I went here as they took over the Firestone warranties. Changing brake pads for the rear only was ‘covered’ but only for parts and 25% of labor leaving me responsible for the rest. The rest amounted to the same amount as if no warranty existed. I will never go back to these licensed thieves and neither should you.

Love this place and their service! I think every mom can agree that we dread bringing our young kids along to appointments like getting the car worked on. In the waiting room they have an area with toys that entertained my son the whole time!! It was such a smooth experience and one of the workers even surprised my son with a little hot wheels car— which he LOVED!! They were extremely thoughtful and we love the new tires we got on our car! Would recommend this place to anyone!

I had 6 tires installed here on my motorhome. They messed up a stud, but they owned up and paid for it, so I can't take a star off for that. However, I did hear a moaning noise going home. Upon inspection I noticed that they had forgotten to inflate one of the rear tires. The people are really nice and professional, I guess an installer just made a mistake, but the week before that, my father in law took his vehicle for an oil change and they forgot to tighten the oil plug, so they do need to do a bit of QC.
