I came to the Bountiful Point S today not only for a oil change and tire rotation but also in the hopes of finding a new place to take my car to have these things routinely done. I had been going to a different shop located on Parrish Lane in Centerville for about 4 years. But, I felt when I would take my car in (every 3 months), that they were incredibly cold and impersonal. So, today, I decided to try this Point S location on 500 South in Bountiful. Can I say...WHAT A DIFFERENCE! A very kind man greeted me as I came through the door. When I told him what I needed done on my car and what had brought me to his Point S location, he welcomed me to his store and set me up with a oil change “punch card” for a fee oil change and a rebate I could send in for $15.00 back! Which the Centerville location never offered me either in the over 4 years of going there! And, when you’re purchasing the full synthetic oil for a suv, the thought of a free oil change is exciting! I just want to say “thank you” to the people at this Bountiful location for treating me like a valued customer and not like another set of car keys and $$ signs. I’ll see YOU guys every 3 months!

Great place to go. My daughter found them and has been using them for years . She loves how they treat her, the service and the price. I had used Burt Brithers for the last 20 years and was hesitant to change. I had a problem with my F150. I called Burt Brothers and got a quote of $95 to check the problem and 2 days a d $459 to fix it. I decided to call Point S. From the start I was surprised by the friendly, helpful service. They said they couldn't give a quote, until they had looked at and verified the problem. They told me that there were generally 1 of 3 things that could cause the problem and they would gave a general quote for each. I dropped the car over night. At 8:30 they called to say that they had found the problem and gave 2 options on the repair. Repairs were completed in a couple of hours and the actual price was slightly less than the quote. They reminded me of the old Burt Brothers. I should have listened to my daughter years ago.

I drove from North Ogden to Bountiful because I herd great stuff about this place. I had been dealing with a particular place in Ogden and had already paid for 3 alignments in one year they kept saying it was my fault maybe I was hitting bumps hard. I finally took it to bountiful point s and well to my surprise the problem was my car they showed me the problem and explained in detail and with pictures what was the problem. Brian was super helpful he was honest and told me he was not going to do the alignment on it since it was not going to hold anyways. I was sad about the problem but so happy he didnt decide to rip me off and charge me for something he couldnt do. I did get my other car fixed tho. I cant explain enough how greatful I am with this place for finding the real problem with my car.. I will drive from North Ogden again if i need to..

great shop. skilled mechanics. honest service. and just to let you know don't take your head rebuilds to the company you where using anymore. they sublet to Metric Motors and it only costs them 1/4 of what they charge you. call metric motors and find out just how bad they ripped you off for work they don't do themselves. very dishonest peope over there. they also charge customers $3000-$5000 dollars for a new trans and are secretly rebuilding them instead. they have a class action lawsuit underway against them. we need to protect customers from them keep up the good work!

My brother referred me to Paul after having a terrible experience with a dealership. The two experiences couldn't have been more different! Paul did some research on the codes for my issue before I even brought in the car. He showed me the process of what Ford recommends to evaluate, then fix issue. He communicated with me through the day of what was happening, and then he went above and beyond by doing the emissions test on my car that I needed but hadn't mentioned. I live thirty minutes away from this shop, but I'll gladly drive that far to get this honest and great service.

WARNING! Mismanaged buisness. Don't waste your time! At 1:10 this afternoon, I called this company to see if they could get me in. I realized I was calling a little later in the day, (they closed at 4:00) and would have been fine if they had said they were swamped. Nope, Paul said they had an open bay and could get me in if I could get there right then. Over the phone I also gave him a description of the problem, and he said it would probably take them an hour. I was happy, everything was great! I immediately took my car in and handed Brian the key. He said they were busy and they might not get to it for a while. Still okay, I just needed to know what needed to be done and if it couldn't get done today, that was what I had expected. I could work around not having a car. 2 1/2 hours later, no phone call, and it was past 3:00. I was still wondering what was wrong with my car and was not sure if I was going to need to find alternative transportation for the weekend and for work on Monday. So, I called. Paul was again very gracious and asked if Brian could call me back. Brian was in a meeting of some sort. That was fine, I just needed information. At 3:20, there was still no phone call, and they closed at 4:00. I call again, Brian was still in the meeting. At this time, I was getting a little anxious. What was wrong with my car? Brian calls back at 3:25, and they have still not pulled my car into the bay and looked at it. So, I just went and picked it up. This company's miscommunication for asking me to come right then, then not calling me about not getting to it before the weekend makes me a little upset. I could have taken it somewhere else and not wasted my time, which is what I will do in the future.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We now live out of town but every time we come back to Salt Lake we get our cars serviced here. We recently tried to get one of our cars serviced where we live and it was so much more expensive and the customer service wasn't nearly as good, so when we came back for vacation this last week we made sure to stop here to get my car serviced. Their prices are by far the best we have come by and they are quick and easy to work with. When I first started coming here my alignment was completely off and my tires were worn in some weird spots. They did everything they could to align my tires in a way to give me the most miles possible. When it was finally time to get new tires they were able to find me a great set with a better warranty than my last set from my car dealership. We are continually impressed by their service and will continue to come back.

I have been dealing with this particular Point S since the inception of their business. More specifically, Paul has kept me as a customer for about 9 years. The owner, Wade, has always been friendly and courteous, as well as Brian and staff. Yes, the prices are fair and the service is exceptional. Let me tell you what you won't get from their competitors. Every now and then you may get stuck somewhere in that one off circumstance and you won't believe it when they are willing to bail you out of trouble on their own time, as well as their own dime. No, you can't expect a person or entity to do that all the time. Furthermore, it wasn't even me that they did it for. I have personally witnessed on more than one occasion where Paul and Brian have both left after hours to help others that had no way to get their vehicles to the shop due to other locations being closed as well as other extenuating circumstances. I will always buy my tires from Paul and Brian regardless of the cost, and they are competitive, it just so happens they represent POINT S!

Every time I visit this location, they go the extra mile! After a very positive tire buying experience last year, today I went in for a road hazard warranty tire repair for my truck & to get quotes for tires for my wife’s car. I was also expecting to buy a new spare wheel & tire for the truck b/c I had previously upgraded to 1” bigger rims. First, Paul went out of his way to find an affordable solution for the car. Then, he actually got down under the truck, in the parking lot, to verify my current spare wheel & tire sizes, and then he told me that what I already have will work just fine. They looked at them, balanced the front two which were way out, but then didn't charge me for it because the tires were getting so worn, Wade wasn't sure it would do any good. He sent me quotes for new tires, but only when I asked for some. It's so refreshing to not have anyone try to push products or services on me. Highly recommend these guys! I got a flat tire while I was at work and they drove up to my work to fill my tire with air. When they got there they found out that I would need to put my spare tire on instead, since the puncture was beyond repair. They put the spare on for me and then looked for a used tire. They had found a tire within the couple hours that I had left to work that day. So, after work I went straight there and they put the tire on for me! It was very inexpensive as well. Thanks for the great service guys!!

I went there with a low pressure tire problem. I told him where I had seen the nail in the tire and they took care of it. I was quoted $20.20 it cost me $20.20 when it was done. This place is the best! I refer everyone I know to go here. A few months ago I brought my car in because the stem on my tire broke off. I was ready to pay for it but they said no, and they replaced it for FREE because the tires were bought there. I had no idea. They could have easily just charged my card. Very great experience! Shopped around to several different garages was quoted between two hundred and five hundred dollars more for brakes and rotors on the front and rear of my Chevy Tahoe. I was told by two garages that I needed calipers, I called Point S and he was up front with me and told me a lot of times they stick and just need to be cleaned and lubed that alone impressed me!
