Speedco used to be quick that’s the reason I go to speedco we pay them 50 to 100 dollars extra then TA or petro because we think they not going to waste your time They have one truck in from last 2 hours I can say that now I better go TA or petro next time good luck speedco you lost one more customer today

WORST PLACE EVER!!! Don't take a chance at this horrible location, if you get lucky enough to not wait 4 to 5 hours before getting a PM it will most likely be done half ass!! I was given a sheet of paper with my tire pressure of every tire.....NOT ONE WAS CORRECT!! They didn't have my fuel filters so they said they would charge me less since they couldn't complete the PM fully, when paying at the counter I was berated and yelled at for saying that they promised to deduct the price of the fuel filters. The two ladies behind the register were completely rude and unprofessional!! I've taken many chances on this place spread through ten years and I've been disappointed every time!!! CLEAN YOUR FLOORS!!!! I wish there was a negative rating because they don't even deserve one star!!! COME ON MANAGEMENT!!!

I pulled up at the speedco on friday 8/31/18 to get a Pm service done on my truck! After I pulled up the mechanic there called me to me and asked did I want a discount, I said yes and he then instructed me to tell the cashier that I would like to get my filers(oil/fuel) changed and a grease job. Then they asked me to pay them 150.00 but I gave them 180.00 instead. They didn’t have one of my filters so they had to go and get it and when they got back they finished the pm and told me to start the truck. The truck wouldn’t start. They then stayed starter fluid to get it started, I asked them why they would do that it’s a 2016 truck. They said we just trying to get you going. So I had to get a hotel room that night that they refused to pay for. Then the next day another mechanic came in tried to get it it started and failed to due so. The blew air in the fuel tanks to try to get it started, they also tried priming it as well same result, truck won’t start. Volvo closed and the Speedco told me that they will have it towed to Bruchners Volvo 2miles away from them and they would take care of it but they didn’t. It cost me 315.70 to get towed on top of 650 in hotel expenses that they wouldn’t pay for. The warranty department said that they didn’t have any way to pay for the wrecker up front that I had to pay for it. So the day after Labor Day I’m paying to get it towed. I advise everyone not to come here because they are not accountable for their services.

The reason speedco became so popular with drivers was for the simple fact you can go there and be out in 1hour. I was the second truck behind a bobtail and sat there over a hour and nobody did any work on the truck in front of me. I finally left with no oil change. Hope LOVES doesn't destroy a good thing for drivers.

Stopped for a truck lube. Sat behind shop for 20 minutes waiting. When a door opened and I pulled up, they closed it again. Nobody came out to talk to me or ask me for my business. I notified the manager that I was leaving because of the poor service. People in business must communicate with the customer, not leave them sitting in the parking lot and looking at them wondering why they are sitting in the parking lot.

I always change my oil at speedco for last 4 years Went in for oil change ended up replacing oil pan. They Over torqued my drain plug to the point it was bent in side the oil pan. Luckily i was staying the night in a hotel. I woke up in the morning noticing a big leak under the truck coming from the drain. Manager mark stated the oil wasn’t coming from the plug but somewhere else? Insisted that putting Kevlar tape around the plug to minimize leak? Ended up being blamed for it. over $1400 blown and 4 days lost.

An office full of people, I was ignored the whole time while one lady talked on the phone. No one asked me if I needed help. I stood there for about 15 min without assistance then pretty much everyone left the building leaving me alone. So I walked out to leave and then was told I was in the wrong line for a pm. 3 times, this location has stripped oil drain plugs. Twice on our Freightliner, and once on our International. As we started paying closer attention to the workmanship, we noticed grease fittings were unchecked, after lube service was requested and charged. We've paid for poor service for the LAST time at this location.

What can i tell you different from what others have already commented its a hit or miss place sometimes they take care of business most times they are just not interested in their work. The girls there sonetimes are rude then other times they are ok. Wait times are atrocious because they are located near the truckstops so alot alot alot of trucks stop in for service.

Professional,adressed the issue, conversation is to the point, and honest about their work, pricing and timeliness. This is one of those places that one is asking for, in times of need. I came with a tires problem, I was informed about the tires, reason of uneven wearing, solution, pricing, and time needed for the work to be completed. It was as they said. This place is busy but the way it is run, and the quality of work done here, I don't think that I can find it accross the street with the competitors. Give them a try. There are two speedcos in Dallas. This location on I-20 does get a little backed up. It's not their fault they get busy they make sure every customer is satisfied with their service. If this one is busy they have another location on route 12 & 183 in Irving that almost always has a bay open. Otherwise service here is good no complaints here.

I requested a courtesy 3 box check but never heard anything about it, any other locations will show u if it's low or dirty etc...

This place is on my route and I changed my oil h here 80% times in the last few years. They used to be ok, but in the last year or so they got really bad. Lack of customer service, speed of service, their attitude in general.. But at least its a relaxed atmosphere for their employees, they seem to have a great time slacking off... Just not on my dime, not anymore. I just lost an hour and a half.. 1 hr waiting to get in and another 30 mins waiting for them to start, after that I closed my hood, got my keys and left, without gchanging my oil.

I give 3 stars for the staff. They were all friendly and polite. The young lady was just as nice as could be. Why not more stars? WAY to much time waiting and getting oil changed done. I got there about 5:30pm and billed out at 9:30pm. I have tried using Speedco over the years and I always pay more for the oil change and services than anywhere else. To me if I'm paying more I shouldn't be sitting and waiting as long as I was. Shop was not clean and was slippery. Would I go to this location again? No I wouldn't. Speedco is not competitive. It's a shame

Since I live in the Dallas area I've visited the south Dallas location about 5 or 6 times, I'm not joking when I say they are always the slowest of anywhere I've ever been to for a service, and not because of a wait to get in, I'm talking about once your inside, there is absolutely nothing speedy about it. I've been to several SpeedCo locations and several truck stops like Petro's and TA's, most SpeedCo locations will get you in and out in 30 to 45 minutes, an hour at most but Not South Dallas, 2 hours or more on average every time I've been there, and never the same group twice. Today I had to walk down the street to Kenworth to get a new single use drain plug for my PACCAR engine because they were out and after watching 5 or 6 guys standing around for 20 minutes trying to decide what to do I said I would go get it myself. DEFINITELY my last time to visit this location.

Well my friend is also an owner operator swears by speedco, I was hoping to get a pm done by this place close to my house. However after reading all these bad reviews, I would say this shop needs a complete overhaul. I'm not going to waste my time hoping that I have a good experience. I would say stay away from this place. I have never had a bad experience at a TA.

If You are looking for a serious advice, Pls avoid this place!!! I had to wait almost 3 hrs when there was only one truck ahead of me. Update: 08/10/16 I had to go back there again for my re inspection, it seems like they are trying to improve. I guess it's your luck. My Advice to Speedco, People need to keep their things straight and give quick service. No body wants to spend money and then get played around.

Absolute WORST place to go if time is a concern. Dont let the name fool you, needs to be re-named "Slowest-Co". I manage 12 Local trucks and every time I send a truck to either one of the Dallas stores it costs me at least Half a day or more. At first I tried to be understanding of the reasons they give, weather they are under staffed of some other excuse but after repeated failures to get my trucks serviced do to HOS regulations, something of which these knuckle heads have no concept, I am forced to find someone else to do business with. -"F" Minus.

Arrived at 7:00. No one would ask me if I needed help. When someone finally came to help, they had me wait in line for an hour just to tell me they don't do State Inspections. Oh wait, their system was down and didn't know when it would be working.

Pulled in about 6 pm on Saturday afternoon, all bays were empty but took 15 minutes for someone to open the door and guide me in and I asked for a PM with oil analysis and a dot inspection. 1 1/2 hrs to get the PM done although 3 trucks that came in 30 minutes after I got there were serviced and finished before me then find out they didn't do the oil sample but still charged me for it and the man who does the inspection left without doing my truck but did 2 of the 3 that got there after me. Used to be good service at this location but not anymore, so if you want good service work done on your truck find another place to go , had to go to the location in Irving to get the inspection done I will try there next time .

When i first got there i found Brandy to be very rude, i spoke to the manager about her treatment of me and he said he would deal with it. Speedco has always been a first choice for me for pms and grease jobs...but i will not go back to that one again!..The rest of the staff was very nice
