AWESOME STAFF. We were so very happy and impressed with the staff at Tammen Auto. We were traveling from Maryland to Nevada. On our third night, we heard a bad noise from the front. Nearby hotel staff recommended Tammen. I came in (slightly before opening). They took me in right away. They found the problem quickly (fortunately minor), repaired it and got me on the road within 30 minutes. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

Typical, I did some repair work just before leaving for a family trip. This included lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods and brakes. I got my alignment close at home but after 400 miles I knew it needed a professional one. After reading reviews here I arrived at Tammen just as it opened. I ask if they had time to do an alignment today. The desk clerk told me to wait while she talked to the tech. A couple minutes later the tech and she walked back in to get my keys and start the work. It was completed within an hour and there was a nice comfortable waiting room with fresh coffe, bottle water, and a tv. They were very affordable also. I wish therr was a mechanic like this at home. I wouldn't have to do so much work myself. The alignment was spot on. The best part. As I was waiting another traveler stopped in an asked them to check his back wheels. Something seemed off. They quickly diagnosed it and it was a simple fix. He pulled out a wad of cash for the service and their reply was, "no charge because it was simple." What a class act for a company. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work Tammen Auto & Tire!!!

Worst place to take your vehicle. Prices are out ragouse and they only want your money. Better off driving to Sioux falls.

We lucked out with our hotel being across the street from Tammen Auto + Tire shop! We are on a road trip + the rim cracked which left us feeling SOL. However, the staff was not only insanely friendly but incredibly helpful trying to pull as many resources as they had to find a new rim to get us back on the road! Within 3-4hrs we were able to leave! Had we been anywhere else we would’ve been there for a day or two! If you find yourself with any type of auto issue don’t go anywhere else- they’ll seriously take care of you like you’re family// Thanks for everything

Above and beyond service. While traveling through the state with the family lost two tires and needed to be back on the road the same day. Needed rims and tires the staff worked tirelessly to get us going again.

I pulled in to Tammen Auto and Tire at 5pm with a flat tire that was just repaired 40 miles prior by Midas in Sioux Falls. Their technician found the tire improperly repaired and fixed it in under 1/2 hour. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable. Leather chairs, free wifi, complementary computer, free cookies and even the coffee was great at 5pm on a Monday! Their customer service is top shelf. I would do business with Tammen Auto and Tire again and again.

Overpriced for Average service. I took my car into Tammen Auto for a $69 alignment. The tech was honest about bending a tie rod, BUT - I had to find a replacement part and they charged me $269.91 for the alignment. I've been attempting to work with them to reach a fair resolution, but they just ignore me. Sad business practices.
