I always went here with my oil changes and little stuff like that...But once I had a bigger problem they could't figure it out...I paid $300 and wasted a week on them and in the end had to take my car to the dealership and pay again. Won't be coming back! And another thing: they are horrible at getting back to their customers! I had to call them myself each time to get an update on my car. It's like they don't want your business at all.

Got my tires at another store that but decided to give bargain barn a second chance with the alignment. Again had a horrible experience, they tried to sell me $1500 dollars worth of parts that my truck didn't need. Don't get screwed like they tried to screw me go somewhere else. Went for an oil change and brakes inspection. Oil change got done and they said that rear brakes needed replacing. I decided to wait on the brakes until the money was available. However, they broke one of pins on one of the brakes and let me drive away with it. Got the brakes done later and they would not come off because of the broken pin and I was told they should not have let me take the care in that condition. They also damaged another part working on it. Will not be returning.

Went in to have Nitrogen added to my two rear tires on my truck to raise them to 80 psi for towing Wait time was about 30 minutes which was acceptable. When the truck came out I noticed that the green valve stem caps that were on the truck from the tire installation done previously were now replaced with black ones. Green stem caps are important on tires with nitrogen to prevent someone from adding air which would incorrect. The service adviser agreed and asked me to go back around and have them replaced. The mechanic then said he did not have any , they were ordered but not available and insisted that it had black ones on there when it came in. I am very particular with my vehicle and know for a fact that they were green, these tires had been installed at Costco 2 months prior and I monitor pressure religiously. Anyway, he said I was wrong and I left unhappy at that point. I had wondered why the front tires also had black covers and when I checked tire pressure I found that the pressure on the front had been raised as well, so obviously instructions were not followed and shoddy. I will never return and I would not recommend going to this garage. The only plus was the $10 per tire charge to add nitrogen for two tires ended up getting me the front tires for free.

If you live anywhere near Rapid (I live 6 hours away) and you want the most reputable place to take your car, you need to go to Bargain Barn Tire Center. I always time getting my tires, oil changes, etc. around my visits home just so I can have honest, dependable people work on my cars. I HIGHLY recommend Jim, Rob, John and the rest of the gang to look at your cars. You will NOT regret it and you will be driving one of the safest cars around. If I could have given no stars, that's the rating I would have put down instead. My car is older and has had issues with losing power in town and on the interstate. Instead of letting me know that they weren't capable of handling older cars, they kept mine for two days without any problems being found and now we are stranded on the interstate with the same issue.

I have been a customer with them for over a decade. Always fast service and great work. Have never had an issue if something broke down before my payday and I needed my vehicle fixed and I could just pay on my payday. I give a 4 star rating for this. Starter went out this weekend and they kept my car all weekend saying they'd get to it on Monday and they could hold my car until it was paid. I told them I'd try to find the money over the weekend and they agreed to fix it. On Monday they hadn't even started the vehicle and moved the date to fix it as they had other work to do. I believe they weren't gonna fix it until I paid them. As I've said, they've never not worked with me before with the financing area. So for this I give 1 star. Should've known they've changed things last time we brought a car in they took a look and said the engine was shot and they couldn't fix it. Took it elsewhere and it was just the alternator. I had it towed to this location as it was right around the block and my previous great service. After this one fix I think our family is done with Bargain Barn.

Brad and his staff wonderful. We needed to get our brakes checked because my parents windshield has damaged in a hail storm and couldn’t pull their camper. Brad and his crew were able to get us in a couple hours. A chain store told us we needed we needed new brakes and would cost us $450.00. Brad informed us we didn’t need new brakes, he guessed after the last inspection they had put on the brakes back on wrong. This is what caused our brakes to squeak and not working properly. They only charged us an inspection fee. Great crew

My husband and I took a vacation to rapid city and on a saturday had an axle seal break while at Mount Rushmore. My husband called and they got us right in to fix it. The next day on Sunday it broke again the gentle men working were very helpful and spent lots of time fixing it so we could make the 600 mile drive back home that day. The gentlemen there went above and beyond to help us. The prices were fair and the customer service was awesome. I wish more places were as friendly and helpful as they were! Highly recommended! I woke up early this morning for work and my rear door wouldn’t shut, like the lock was stuck. I hadn’t called for an appointment but swung by the shop before work at 7 to see if they had any openings. The gentleman told me he was completely booked but would see if he could fit me in. After two hours, my car was fixed! I picked up my car after work, and when I went to pay they had said it was no charge for an easy fix! (Just needed some lubrication). They will definitely continue to receive my business - incredibly nice employees that always have a smile on their face, great prices (have taken my car there for other things, too), great service! Brought my car in for an alignment about a year ago before heading on a roadtrip. While driving from rapid city to great falls montana i found my car pulling to the right the entire time. The next morning i brought the car into tire roma of great falls and had them do another alignment which sloved the problem. The gave me a printout of the before and after showing that the vehicle was not aligned. I have used bargain barn many of times without issues dont know what happend there.

Had a balancer that could fit my 37’s (which a lot of other places couldn’t) Wanted all to re-balance all my wheels but after they took a quick look at it they noticed it just needed the tires rotated (I went in for a small vibration) Got me in and out quick and saved me some money (UPDATE)- I got my tires rotated at a place here in North Carolina on a road trip... Bargain Barn cross threaded lugs on both my rear tires. I had to purchase new lugs. As well as studs and had the place I was getting my tires done at fix it. I shouldn't have had to pay for that but I guess with them knowing I was leaving South Dakota they didn't care.

The shop manager, the owners, and all the employees are great. They never try to sell me something I don't need and they always show me my vehicle before starting work. The tire prices are some of the best you can get in the area and they're constantly looking for ways to save the customer money. Also, one of the only shops I've ever been to with a courtesy ride service so you don't have to dwell in the shop while the car is being repaired.

I was traveling through South Dakota and suspected that my alignment was off due to a recommendation from my dealership during my last oil change. Instead of chancing it, I stopped in and the courteous staff looked over my alignment and concluded that while the tires were worn, the alignment was fine.
