4.5 Stars. Great automotive place. Took my Honda fit in after experiencing sputtering issues and they fixed my coil pack at a reasonable price with the labor plus parts. Also got a really well priced oil change, they called me before doing any work and even fixed my tire pressure so the light went off without charging me. Very helpful and nice people. The reason I gave them four stars is two things: I asked to keep the coil pack so I could get a refund on it as I just replaced them within the past six months and they didn't keep it and the second thing was the arm rest on the driver's side door was snapped out of place and I had to snap it back in myself. Not a huge deal on either things, just small caveat.

I think most people's worry with an auto shop is finding someone they can honestly trust, and I have never felt as comfortable with the information I'm given as I do with these guys. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, and friendly every time I go in to them, but they're fast, and have gone above and beyond for me on more than one occasion. The old adage about treating customer's like family isn't just a cliche for these guys, it's honestly the way they make you feel. I feel incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing place to take all my family's cars to. Thanks so much for the continued amazing service.

The fabulous service I received at Lake Murray Tire began many days before walking thru their doors. The online/email assistance was top notch, helping me to find just what I needed and stay within a very real budget. Once at my appointment, staff & clients alike were friendly & courteous (even the lady with a fear of my dog was super sweet about it); no one tried to sell me stuff I didn't need, but did offer to take care of a minor annoyance I'd learned to live with. While I teased about final cost, the fact remains that for a very good price LMT&A took great care of my car and of me, leaving me feeling much safer on the road. As an aside, their magazine selection is totally worth the trip, even if all you need is an oil change.

Tire blew on expressway. Managed to get car to gas station one mile from Lake Murray Tire and automotive. Tried to change tire and in process stripped 2 lug nuts due to trying to hurry in pouring rain. Am from out of town, so asked gas station associate for recommendations. They said Lake Murray Tire. I called and offered to pay to have someone come and get tire off and replace 2 bad lug nuts. They said only had one associate there at time and couldn't come. I borrowed hammer from local store, got tire off, put spare on and hour later drove 3 min to Lake Murry TIRE and AUTOMOTIVE. Saw at least EIGHT employees there. Thought only one employee there....so can't come to help me?? Anyway....I tried to BUY two new lugnuts so I could get out of this GOD FORSAKEN TOWN! But....to my suprise I was told they DO NOT SELL LUGNUTS....IN A TIRE STORE....REALLY???? What the hell????!! So.....I will never ....ever....go back there and recommend no one else go either!!

Repairs are always done right the first time; they charge a fair price for their services and never try to sell us things we don't need. The people are friendly and the facility is clean.

I have used Lake Murray Tire and Automotive since they opened. They have always been honest and done great work. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I was in a bind out of town and was told by a national chain that I needed to replace my oil pan as soon as possible. The guys at lake murray told me they would put a gasket on the drain plug. 2 years later and still have not had to replaced the oil pan.

Some work needed to be done on my fiancee's car. The axle and lower barring were totally out of sorts on the driver side. The people were very polite and helpful when we called. After inspecting the car and confirming what we had seen, they began fixing it. As new problems were found, they called to inform us of each change to the original fix and price. They also informed us of future issues we might have with the other side of the car. We are very pleased with the work, which was honestly priced, and we would strongly recommend them to anyone. Fast and courteous. Coming down the interstate with a mini fridge full of expensive meat, I blew a tire on my little Toyota truck. These guys had the right size tire in stock and got me back on the road in a jiffy. They even let me plug the mini fridge in while I waited, saving the contents from potential harm.
