My Wife and I, took our 1986 Subaru Brat in for a tune up and brake job. We ended up having to have the carburetor replaced. It took almost a month for them to find one that would work in the Brat. They went way out of there way to locate , ship and install the new carburetor. We got it back today and it runs fantastic. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. I'm sure 90% of the other places would have given up and quit on us but they never did. Thanks for a job well done. You don't know how much it means to us. The Brat was my wives Fathers, and has a lot of sentimental value. Thanks again.

This place has some idiot who lives out back in the gated parking lot who continuously blares music all hours of the night after they close and then all day and night on the weekends. Ive put up with it for a urar now, but im going to start calling the cops every day until the idiot stops. Im tired of being woke up at 2am, 4 am etc.

My family was traveling home from Hilton Head Island to Northern Ohio. While passing through Spartanburg, we started experiencing an unknown problem with our front, passenger side tire of our Audi. The front of the car was wobbling. We stopped by Dixie Tire to have it looked at, after being told by A major tire company down the road, that they wouldn't even be able to look at our car for about four hours. The associate at Dixie Tire said it could be an hour wait, but since we had our family with us, and we were passing through, he took our car back immediately. They took the tire off and found a huge egg shaped defect in the tire, and the tire was separating from the rim. He did not have our tire in stock, so he put one of the good rear tires on the front and put our spare tire on the back, as it is safer to drive with the spare on the back. He balanced the tires and told us we should be safe to drive to a destination that did have our tire. He was so kind and helpful. He charged us a very nominal fee, and we were on the road to the Audi dealership 25 miles away. I would definitely recommend Dixie Tire & Automotive, as they were fast, honest and very reasonable.

The balding man behind the counter was extremely condescending and rude asking unnecessary question then I asked not to have my tires rotated rotated they did anyways then when I pulled out my car pulled terribly to the left went back ask them ask them to put my tires back the way they were acted like it was a problem then insisted that I had impact damage on my tire that was causing it and my car has never done that before suggested I get a new tire and after the oil change that I went in for in the first place my car sounds like it runs harder now than I did when I brought it to them I don't know if it's a tactic to get repeat customers but it's unnecessary and I will not be returning if you want to go to a good place you can go to the Reidville Road garage at least they treat you honestly

Blew a tire on my car on route to Atlanta, and Dixie tire on Main Street took care of me. I had VIP service including a ride from the owner to Enterprise car rental. They even opened up their shop on a Sunday for me to retrieve my vehicle on the way back from Atlanta. Simply stellar, concierge service with integrity.

This place ripped my daughter off who went to college in Spartanburg. Be very careful with them. She had her tire slashed. They were asked to replace it with the exact tire. When I saw it they had ordered the wrong tire, destroyed her wheel trying to get off the wheel lock because they didn't have a key. Then charge for a key they somehow managed to get later. So in the end we paid $320.00 for a tire she cant use, a wheel that needs to be replaced and a tow bill because they didn't know how to change the tire at the school parking lot. Now I have to buy another tire, repair or replace the wheel as well. What a bunch of clowns. Greg

Got tires swapped out. They didnt seal one of the tires properly and said they would fix it for a price. I alreay paid 120 to do it in the first place. They wonT admit they were wrong and waive the charge. Never again will I go there for anything.

Flying on the on I85 highway, something pierced one of my tires between Duncan and Spartanburg. Flashy lights blinking on the dash, no air in the rear left tire, and neither spare nor emergency repair kit on hand. I wend off the highway into Spartanburg and found Dixie Tire and Automotive - the rubber of my flat already hot. They took care of me / my car even though they had a full schedule. It took 30 min. and I was back on the road. Friendly, great service and fair price. Thanks again!!!

I had a good experience with Dixie Tire the reason I can say this is because I had a problem after the work was done and they did not have any problem taking my car back in and correcting the problem most place take you through a difficult process but they did not in the end they said no charge and bring it back if not satisfied

Friendly and knowledgeable staff firstly, but I came in for a tire puncture from a nail and found that the price of great service is a little high, try about $29 to get the repair/ although it was a patch and not a plug repair I found myself in need of the repair and the location was very convenient. I also felt a little more educated on the subject but As a consumer who has had this repair before I thought the price was high. I will be watching the road a little better not to have the issue again. Again great service but a little costly.

Can't imagine a worse tire shop. I had four asymmetrical tires mounted there and all four were backwards. It clearly said "OUTSIDE" on one side of the tire, but they apparently ignored that. In addition, one tire had THIRTY wheel weights on it, most positioned 180 degrees from each other. When I went to get them to fix it, they did, but only after the owner made a complete ass of himself. He's an extremely rude and bitter old man, and will preach to you about how "I've been in the tire business 40 years, if you don't like how I do my job, you can buy the damn business." It really is a shame, because I do what I can to support local businesses, but the owner seemed to be going out of his way to be rude and inconsiderate. I suppose it was because I wasn't dressed nicely and was driving my work truck, so he felt like he could push me around. You'd be better off going anywhere but here. When I left I was almost in shock that a business could be so poorly run by such a pitiful man.
