Check around first to all of the big-name tire dealers you see on seven street or elsewhere. Please give Stu's a call at the end and give him your lowest price you found anywhere. I live in Virginia, my girlfriend lives outside Allentown. She called me at 9 pm and said she had a shredded tire and was stuck on the side of the road. My worst nightmare, I'm 200 miles away. Her brother came through for her and got her home with the spare, but it was flat on the ground the following morning. My girlfriend's car is AWD, so she needed to buy 4 new tires. I did some research and found a tire that was the right size and had great reviews on Tire Rack. She needed the tire sooner than Tire Rack could ship it, so Googled tire shops near where she lived and then called around. Tried Stew's first, and spoke with Brian. Brian was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They didn't have the tire in stock, but could order it and "have it by Friday." Then he gave me an out-the-door quote, including installation and tax, of LESS THAN what I would have paid with Tire Rack. I was floored. I had been planning on haggling and negotiating down to a number, and this was lower than what I planned to haggle to. I told Brian that I needed to clear it with my girlfriend, and called a nearby competitor just to make sure I wasn't crazy. I was quoted a price that was significantly more than Stew's, and the competitor told me if Stew's could do it at the price I was told, then I should go with Stew's. My girlfriend had called another shop and was quoted something even higher than the second place I called. I called Stew's back, and spoke with Justin the second time. He quoted me the same price that Brian told me, and this time I had no hesitation. I ordered the tires Wednesday afternoon, and was told they'd be in by Friday. My girlfriend texted me Thursday evening -- not Friday -- and told me she was at Stew's getting the new tires on. She had a 3 year old child with her, and she said the car was ready so quickly that the 3 year old wasn't even acting up before they were driving away. And the price was exactly what I had been quoted, so nothing hidden. This is the easiest recommendation that I've ever given. Quick, professional, courteous, easy, and saved us some serious money. In all honesty, I don't think I will go anywhere else for tires again.

These guys have given me excellent service and value since they opened. Even though we mail order our tires, they're still helpful and friendly. Unlike STS, these guys will help you out of a jam. One day I got a flat and I needed it fixed ASAP. STS was too busy and sent me away, forcing me to ride at risk, and when I got to Stew's, they jumped right on it and I was out in 20 minutes, despite them being full up. They're also honest and saved me money when they didn't have to. Highly recommended.

I was extremely impressed with Stew's Tire Center. One day at work I noticed I had a flat tire and called Stew's right away because they were conveniently located right down the street from my office. When I called to see what I needed to do a gentlemen was at my office within 5 minutes to pick up my car. He filled my tire with air, told me there was a nail in it, took my car back to their shop and patched my tire, all in under 30 minutes. They truly go above and beyond for their customers!
