Great first experience. I cut a sidewall on my trailer while towing my boat through town. I was able to get here as it was the most convenient place to get to and they got my spare on and had a replacement ready for me all within an hour. They just earned themselves a new customer

Superior Tire Service, is the best in town. I will never go anywhere else in town. They have great service! The review about "the knowledge of tires is mediocre", this person must have went to another place (they are a very successful tire company and they move a lot of cars everyday in and out of the shop, so they are doing something right). They have more knowledge then the average tire store. They replace a rack and penion and ball joints on my truck. Talk about customer service, they stayed open almost an extra 1 hour to finish my truck. Most other shops would have kept my truck overnight. For tires, they will tell you what ones are the best for your money. They carry all major bands in stock and at the lowest cost. The lobby is clean and they offer you coffee for free. They will always have my business and you should try them.

I was heading to Rainier Or for a Birthday Party As I was about to get oof I-5 my pick up was bouncing terribly as if a U-Joint was going bad. Thank goodness I was near the first Longview exit! I pulled into Columbia Ford and went to the service desk and they said they couldn't help tell the next morning It was like 2:15 P.M. I am saying Really Now! I proceeded towards the Highway And I see Superior Tire Store ON the left hand side my tire had blown out as I was in route from Columbia Ford< I saw they were pretty busy I went in and a nice lady at the front desk greeted me and introduced me to Joe, I explained my situation and he said he could get me in . It would be about 15 minutes. I had two tires already mounted to be swapped out with the two rear tires& wheels on the truck. They told me my truck was ready. I had asked how much I owed them And the reply was nothing, I was amazed and thankful. I want to thank you all at superior Tire Service For great customer Relations. I will recommend your company anytime I can. Thanks Again

I visited the Longview superior tire location in June 2018 for a computer valve stem replacement for my front tire. Staff was nice and the value stem was replaced without an appointment. I inquired about the condition of my tires at this time. I was told that my tires were in good condition, but I would possibly want to replace the two front tires at the beginning of summer 2019 as the vehicle is front wheel drive. Now it is January 2019. Since I had had a positive experience during my previous visit and I wanted to get my front brakes and front alignment completed I decided I would make an appointment at this location again. I was given an estimate of $206 + tax. Once they had my vehicle taken apart I was told that multiple parts needed to be replaced with an estimate of almost $800. $800 is clearly completely different than $206!!! I was also told that all my tires were dry rotted and all four tires needed to be replaced at a cost close to $1000. My question to Superior Tire was "How could all my tires be in good condition on a vehicle that is driven and maintained regularly in June 2018 with a recommendation at that time from your staff for replacement of two front tires in summer of 2019, that has experienced no accident or incidence all of a sudden have four dry rotted tires all needing to be replaced?" They don't!! An appointment to your business that was supposed to be $206 + tax is now $1800 + tax. Needless to say, I declined services. I left and went home. That was yesterday. Today I went to drive my vehicle on the freeway....it started vibrating so badly that I thought the front wheels were going to fly right off of the vehicle!! I am afraid to drive it now. The vehicle was driving completely safe and normal without any problems before I took it to superior tire this past Thursday, now it is vibrating so terribly that it is unsafe to drive!! It feels like the wheels are going to fly right off the front of it. I will definitely not be going back to this store for any services in the future. Customer Beware!!!

My grandfather, and uncle worked for Superior back in the 80's. I take my vehicles there, and this morning, took my car in without an appointment. Edna and the rest of the staff have always been helpful. Even without an appointment, they checked my car for problems and addressed the issue it was having. I trust them, and I will continue to take my vehicles to them for maintenance instead of the dealers who's prices are outrageous. They do it all at Superior, and the prices are reasonable, and the staff is always very helpful.

I took a tire that was supposedly "unfixable" according to the terrible dealership Dick Hannah Toyota into Superior Tire. Superior Tire grabbed the tire out of the back of the Rav 4, fixed it, balanced it, and mounted it FREE OF CHARGE! I HIGHLY recommend Superior Tire in Longview, WA. The staff were very professional and went beyond anything I could've or would've expected. I LOVE YOU Superior Tire. Amazing People, with amazing Skills. They fixed a tire that Dick Hannah said was unfixable. Jack Parsons at Dick Hannah Toyota in Longview, WA was going to charge me $224 for a new tire BECAUSE his shop was incapable of fixing a tire that Superior Tire did in 30 minutes and FREE OF CHARGE.

I would never recommend this place to anybody. The staff was rude, dismissive, & not very smart handling my car. Their knowledge of tires is mediocre at best & if you value your car, take it somewhere else. There are better prices & better service out there. Flat out will never go there again.

These guys were great. I had to take my work vehicle in to have new tires put on after getting a flat. They had the tires required by my company in stock. I had already been to one of their competitors and knew that I just needed two new tires on the front so that's what I asked them to do. It wasn't until I was getting ready to leave that I realized I hadn't told them one of the tires they replaced was a spare and that I needed that tire put back under the car. With nothing but smiles and helpful attitudes they took care of it in like ten additional minutes. Great attitudes and great service. 100% will recommend.

Didn't have the tires in stock that I needed, soldm a set of tires that were an inch wider, said it shouldn't make much difference in the ride. Wrong!!! The ride is terrible. Also, tire sensor went out and they replaced it. Then test drove it and then said another one just went out. Coincidence? I say they were wanting more $$. Service was very distant and cold. Will go to Les Schwab from now on. Their service and products are what you expect.

No communication between employees and a lack of knowledge with front staff. When asking to talk with a manager conveniently she just left. It's unfortunate I'll be looking for a new place even if I have to spend a little more money. Waiting all morning for a phone cal telling me what's wrong with my vehicle and then come to find out they just didn't call me and cant explain the situation until I get there. I'm completely disappointed.

This place is amazing! They totally saved our vacation! We had started our trip and only made it one hour when a tire suddenly was losing air fast due to a nail. We pulled in and had a cranky baby in the car and many hours to go and they fixed it so fast and got us back on our big road trip! The staff were so kind and wonderful! They all deserve a raise!

Took my car in because there was vibration and a grinding noise. I figured it had something to do with the tires. I'm about to trade the car in so I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on repairs. They found the problem quickly, and it was a bad tire as expected. They had a spare in the back. They put it on, test drove it, and sent me on my way only having spent $40. It all took an hour. I had called the day before, an hour before closing, and they accommodated me with an appointment the next morning. What I really liked about this place is they didn't try to sell me on anything else, only what I went in for. Plus, without asking they fixed the shoulder belt that had gotten so tangled up, I had given up on it. In my limited interaction, they were courteous and professional. I definitely recommend these guys.

I brought 5 brand new mounted wheels and tires in to have TPMS sensors installed and balanced. I didn't have an appointment and they were super busy at the moment but said they could do it and gave a reasonable time estimate. They got the work done slightly ahead of the estimated time and had my wheels waiting and ready to go when I showed up. I'm happy with the service and price, but deducted one star for losing the TPMS valve caps that came with my sensors (the ones on my wheels now are too short) and for pry marks on the front of the wheels where they removed the center caps for balancing. If you care about the finish on your wheels, I recommend you remove the caps yourself before bringing to the shop.

Awesome service!. My daughter and I were recently driving fromTacoma to Las Vegas and needed to get the oil changed. Initially we chose this place because it opened at 7am and they could get us right in. They checked out the car top to bottom, didn't do the usual 'pressure sale' for extra services, just let us know that when we got to Las Vegas we would need to have the leaking shock looked at. I truly appreciated their thoroughness and professionalism. If I lived in Salem this would be the only a place I would take my vehicle.

I bring all of our vehicles into STS in South Salem for oil changes and other checkups and we've never had a problem. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the waiting area is nice and kept clean. I feel they are knowledgeable and the prices are excellent even without big sales and coupons. I can't speak to major car repairs but for tires and oil changes and other minor services I highly recommend them.

Always my go to alignment shop, they aligned a somewhat classic Honda for me and even stored it indoors because I was unable to come get the car that evening. Always easy to work with a quality work. They will tell you what's wrong if they can't align it so you can fix it yourself and save money then bring it back to get the alignment dialed in. Calling Monday to get another alignment scheduled for my truck.

Went in for two GoodYear new tires for our truck and had them put on. Asked them at that time to check out the front end. Was given an estimate for lower ball joints and alignment. Went back a week later. They did the ball joints, but then inform me the right control arm is disconnected and needs to be replaced. The control arm of course is inches away from the tire but somehow was missed with the initial visual inspection when they gave the ball joint's estimate? I'm then told that the "tire guy" must have missed it. So my estimate for front end work was from the tire guy who missed the visible front end problem? Why go to a front end shop? Go to Tire Factory or just Les Schwab for front end and tires or other work, both of their estimates for this repair were less expensive than this place. My take away quotes from them are "the control arm isn't that important" and "the tire guy missed it". I do not recommend this shop.

I took my Lexus IS350 in for a tire low pressure light. The service teck said "no problem our mechanic will diagnose the problem. So the guy checked my tires and told me that my car needed two sensors. $59.00 ea. They ordered the units and installed them the next day. 1.5 hours later. The sensors installed !!! It did not fix the problem and the car had been detailed the day before. The teck with his greasy feet made the driver side of the cars floor matte filthy. So the bottom line? OUT $118.00, 1.5 hours of my time and a dirty car. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME THANK YOU

Superior tire service has routinely provided good customer service every time I have visited. I bought my first set of tires about 15 years ago and was very pleased. I have used their services for flat repair and miscellaneous tire services dozens of times since then and am always impressed. Most recently I needed to swap my summer tires for my winter tires on a busy/winter weather day. I called Les Schwab and Discount tire (both closer to me than Superior) and was told 2-3 hoir wait. Called Superior and they said they would get me right in. When I arrived they immediately got my truck in and I was on the road again in 20 mins.

Been going there a while now & have bought a couple sets of tires from them & today ruined it for me... The first issues I had was a few months back when I took my car in for a tune up & was told I'd have my car back by closing time at the latest... Then I get a call telling me I won't get it back until around noon the next day(so not ok at all), but I let it slide... This time I take my car in for a new set of tires(2nd set from them), alignment & an oil change plus asked to have my brake light fixed... I take my car in & next thing I know we're getting a call saying that the brakes are having an issues(awesome) well then it's time to pick up the car cool... I get done there & I start driving my car home & my brakes don't work(they worked when my car was dropped off) so I almost crash trying to stop & have to use my ebrake so I don't hit the car in front of me... They claim "I had air in my lines" yet the dude hooked my car up & put fluid BACK into my brakes & I could stop just fine, but somehow they managed to completely take out my tail light(the one they were supposed to fix) when I took my car in to them the taillight worked, but the brake light in it didn't, but now the whole light is out & I'm a driving ticket waiting to happen!! Thanks superior for almost killing me & making something worse instead of better & making me pay for it!! After you fix my light ENTIRELY tail/brake I will be done with your company for good!!

Crooks and vandals and terrible customer service. The one redeeming service is free inspection, but you cannot trust it AT ALL. We bring our truck in because the brakes were making a noise. We were told there would be a 30 min wait. Seemed understandable for the number of people that were there. An hour and a half later, our truck is finally looked at. Fifteen minutes later a kid who looks barely old enough to be 16 comes in and starts to hand our keys to a complete stranger saying, "Your car, right?" Uhhhh, no. He starts to walk away and we ask how the car was and he just says, "I dunno, I was just asked to drive it around." Five minutes later someone comes in and says, "yeah they said they all need to replaced." We asked to talk to someone who actually worked on the car, not yet another person who knows nothing. Another five minutes and someone came out and said the pads were completely worn down and the rotors and calipers were all rusted out and needed to be replaced. It took another ten minutes for us to get a quote. $850. My wife and I were completely in shock. Fortunately we knew better to stick around. We went to costless auto parts to get all the parts for less than $500. We have a trusted mechanic we are distantly related to who agreed to work on it. Yes, the pads and rotors needed to be replaced, but the calipers were COMPLETELY okay. And now we can return $300 worth of parts. STS, at least this location, is evidently one of those places that swindles and deceives customers just to bring in more cash from unsuspecting, hard-working patrons - try to scare them about how bad of a condition their vehicle is in so they can make more money. Please, DO NOT go here. Save yourself heartache, time and money. I highly advise going somewhere else you know them to be honest.
