This shop is great! I've been there twice, once to install some tires, and to do a brake job, and the last, to replace a brake light switch. They do a GREAT job for a fair and reasonable price. Joe is particular is very nice, and so is Heidi, in the office. Everyone was very pleasant, and polite. Horrible! Called yesterday asking for 2 used tires. They said to come in and that they had them. I show up at 9am, Joe asked to have a seat and wait and that he had the tires there. He disappears and the others working there tell me that they are looking for the tires. 2 hours later I'm told that they don't have them and that someone is coming with more tires soon. I left and went to Discount Tires in Tigard and got 2 new tires for only $30 more installed in 40 minutes. I unfortunately have to leave a star. Such a waste of time

Great place to get tires have a huge selection better than Discount Tire in my opinion. Don't let the looks of the place scare you off or the lack of parking go in and talk to the owner and he will take care of you or help you get the tires you want on your Truck or car. They also do automotive repair as well as sell tires. Check them out! Oh, and the staff and owners are chill and willing to help their customers at all cost.

Joe at Save on Tires has given me some of the best customer service I have ever received. They sold me one thing and then put something different on my car. This made me incredible upset but every company goofs up and its how you handle those goof ups that separate the OK companies from the great companies. This is a great company. He profusely apologized for this mix up and we negotiated on what would be best for me until I was 100% happy. He seriously went above and beyond trying to rectify the problem for me. I have never experienced anything like it, good on you Save On Tires. I 100% will be back.

These gentlemen are great! I had some surprise issues with my car on a Friday mid morning in the winter. Snow was everywhere and they went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed even though no one was going anywhere around town. I had my car back by that same evening. Increadible!!! I had a wonderful experience here. I got the best price out of like 10 different shops to install coilovers onto my lexus gs400. They lowered it perfectly and got it all done In one day just like they said they would. They didnt try to up the price or surprise me with anything either. I was just told a price and they stuck to it. Very respectable shop. I'm very pleased with their work.

They were able to get me in on the same day for an alignment and used tire install. I wish they had a deal on alignment, but prices were reasonable. I was in and out in only one hour. I will definitely return!

I would leave zero stars if I could, and would not recommend this business. I brought in my own tires for install, they were able to install the tires. I started driving the car and it immediately started shaking violently. I brought the car back the same day and they had to re-balance the tires. When I drove it again the tire warning light came on. I brought it back and they told me they fixed it and to keep driving the car it would go away, the next day the light was still on and they told me to come back in. I came in the second day and immediately the front desk lady started to explain why they didn't cause it. Then the owner (Joe) came down and after 15 min of explaining why they didn't cause it, I finally asked if they were going to fix it (since the indicator light only came on when I took it to them) if not I would just leave since I didn't wanna waste any more time. He then took my car in and after 30 min, took me to the garage and started explaining a million different reasons again why they didn't cause the issue. One of his mechanics then took out and ODO reader? And tried to hook it up to my car, in the process breaking the cap that goes over it. I had to buy another one on Amazon for $40, thanks btw. After two hours of hearing why it was not their fault with the indicator still on, I decided to leave. In total I spent an estimated 9 hours and $150 for a simple tire install. Next time I will go to Costco.

I needed a set of tires to put on my leased car before I returned it. After calling over 20 tire stores I realized used tires in the low profile size I needed were impossible to find, so I had to go new. Joe gave me by far the best deal I could find. Took a little longer than I would have liked, but it was Saturday, and I'm glad that the shop was busy because Joe is a very pleasant and honest guy. Recommend.

Absolutely awesome. This place really took care of me, multiple times. Example: I asked to see the "bad" parts and they happily oblige and then show and explain why it's bad (other places don't or say it's already gone). The total price didn't match what they quoted? If you are looking for the best prices on tires then this is the place to go. The people there are honest and the carry all the big brands of tires I got tires there and also had them weld a broken bracket for my running board. I saved at least $400 on the tires and the bracket repair they charged me $40 less than other shops would charge. 5 star+++ all the way!

Needed new snow tires. They were very conveniently located near my work, so I took my car there. The plus side was they were able to give me the best prices on tires and didn't try to sucker me into siping or any of the other nonsense you get at some other "discount" tire places. The minus side was that the tires had to come from another location and "early afternoon" became "late afternoon"; Rush hour traffic. They did make it right-providing a free alignment. I'll buy tires from them again--but I'll make sure they have them on-hand first.

My experience started off somewhat negative, but was thereafter remedied. I brought my Jeep in for an alignment about a month ago. Their staff was very friendly and willing to help me out. When I got my car back however, and odd clanking noise appeared out of nowhere. A couple days later, I brought the car back, and they couldn't figure out what had happened, but they continued to work hard to figure it out despite its mystery. They ended up finding an issue that may have been accidental on their part, but missed the first time around. Joe, the owner, remedied the situation by finding a way to make it right. If you want a mechanic who is willing to understand your problem, and take responsibility when things go wrong, Save On Tires will give you their honesty, hard work, and make sure you leave happy. Because in the end, they believe you are the most important part of their day!

Called in the morning for a used 235/60/17. Was told they had multiple. Went to have one installed soon after, no 235/60/17 available. Settled for their worn down 235/55/17 at the same price. Thumbs down... BUT THEN rolled by in a separate experience with a worn down flat tire and the guy gave me a deal on some bigger commercial tires for a separate vehicle and stayed open late to take care of me... two thumbs up

The good reviews are accurate...walked in during lunchtime, an employee (David) was clearly just starting to eat his lunch, but got up to assist me and was very helpful and friendly. I then met the owner (Joe) and was so impressed by his customer service and personality, I added four tires to my alignment procedure (at a price that beat the competitions). Did not get the name of the man who did my alignment, but like the rest, very friendly.

Came in for a patch, guy said my tire was useless due to shavings inside it. Sold me another tire and agreed to dispose of it for "free". I remembered I had a ripped tire in my trunk so I had him put the one that needed a patch in the trunk, bought a tire and asked him to dispose of the ripped tire instead. Suddenly there was a $10 disposal charge for the ripped tire (that he couldn't patch and resell) when he was gonna dispose of my supposedly useless tire for free.

I got at the facility at 930 am and was told in an hour my parts would be in and installed promptly after. However, it is now 428 pm and I have yet to receive my vehicle back. All I needed was a new wheel and tire. Still waiting 8 hours later. Never dealt with anything like this before.

When other places charged me 150-175 for tires and told me I had a INSANE WAIT TIME! (Needed an Emergency Change and Les Shwab and Firestone told me to drop them off and pick them up at noon the next day!) I called Joe at Save on Tires. They had it done in 15 minutes then only charged me $100 (For used but looked new looking tread tires and even did Balancing!) and he was one of the nicest guys to work with! Back in May I was in an accident because some idiots decided to stop in the center lane of a busy HWY 26 for ducks. The font end was smashed in and the insurance wanted to total it. I took it to Save n tires because I have been buying my tires for years there. They completely restored my car and fixed everything they found that none of the other so called "reputable mechanics" missed. They also reinstalled correctly or installed the correct parts that other mechanics messed up on. My car drives like new now and I can not say enough about them. There was a slick salesman talk and fast that hurried me into agreeing to pay more than I wanted to for a tire. They asked me to pay $50 though I had just been at a different shop in another part of town that was going to sell me the same type of tire for $40, I told him I really only wanted to pay 40 and that I would have bought that one but I had forgotten my wallet at the time. He quickly talked around it and then told the other man to charge me 50 as he walked away. When I walked out and check the tire it was worn, not even what I would consider a good used tire. Over the last 5+ years I have gone to Save on Tires for new tires, a simple belt replacement, and most recently brakes. I went in knowing what I needed and had checked the going rate with other mechanics. Joe's price was actually cheaper for better parts! Unfortunately I needed a little bit more work than I had budgeted for. Joe was very honest about the additional work I needed on my car, and I had a feeling I needed it done as well. When I hesitated, he worked with me to get me to a price that was affordable, and I kid you not, he even offered to accept a post dated check! His main concern was to ensure my vehicle was 100% SAFE. You just do not get that kind of customer service everywhere! If your ride needs work, go see Save on Tires. Joe is a very honest mechanic with warranties and guarantees to back the work.

What can I say? They had my truck for 6 weeks and made promise after promise and made excuse after excuse. They broke the key off in the ignition and wanted us to pay for it. Luckily we were in the office when it happened so we witnessed it. Otherwise we may have had to pay for a weekend locksmith like they wanted. I feel bad because I was told Joe had cancer and that was why his staff didn’t call us back as he was going through things. But after he got nasty with me my patience changed. And business is business. After $1500 later they said it was fixed. They offered us a deal on tires and then overcharged us when the bill came. 100’s of dollars for changing spark plug wires on a 1998 vehicle. Definitely recouping any “deal”. We showed up and it couldn’t drive off the lot. Then 2 weeks later it was fixed again. 6 miles later the check engine light was on again and truck barely drove. This is after they said they were losing $1000 a day by having the truck in the lot having to fix it and wanted it out. They actually got nasty with us for not being able to fix it and said we were more than welcome to take it to another mechanic. Easy to say after 100’s of dollars in. At one point we had to tell him how to order a part online because they said they couldn’t find it. They used JB weld. After taking it to the dealer who was shocked after seeing my receipt they said I “had been had”. Great place for an oil change or new tires. Bad place for anything more than that. Owner disrespected me by saying I didn’t respect his profession and was horribly condescending. Only because I stood up for myself demanding answers after 25 unanswered phone calls over a months time. I truly feel he said this only because I am a woman. At one point Joe hung up on me after I called to get an ETA after a month of excuses. He then called my husband to apologize. But not me. Interestingly enough I do respect mechanics as my first car I built up from scratch. I know how complicated diagnosing can be. Which is why we gave him 3 chances and 6 weeks. But I will not be taken advantage of. Point is I demand results to promises and money paid. I drove by 4 times a day and was told my truck was on the lift and being worked on when in fact it sat in the same spot day after day. Lies and more lies. So if you need your oil changed or tires aligned great place! Other than that go to a professional . It’s a shame because they have a good reputation. They have a following in the community. But as I hear more and more this seems to be a common theme. I plan on sharing my story as my truck runs worse after taking it here.

Called around to most of the other local shops and chains and he always fixes what we need or replaces our tires for way less then what other shops have quoted. The owner is a great person. Update, AMAZING These people are so great, as I went back to have my brakes done something I did not think I would be able to afford, and bam it was super affordable! They are the BEST! All Females who are clueless with cars need to go here they are HONEST! I had a broken Tie rod, bald tires and was quoted Over $1K for this repair by another Tire company. My Water pump broke, car was over heating was referred by Auto Zone. Barely made it in prior to closing @ 7pm. They showed me what was wrong, kept my car did diagnostics, repaired water pump, the electrical (Blinker light would short every month), 4 new tires, cleaned my belt (It was squeaking) and replaced the Tie rod, for under $900. This included labor!!! Very Impressed, very professional and I have a like new car.

Needed a used tire in a pinch. Didn't have much time. Sav On was slammed but I didn't have an alternative. The owner (multi-tasking at the time) had his guys help me and had me on my way in a few minutes. The used tire they installed was a better quality than I had on the other wheels but priced reasonably. Thanks guys!

Wow where do I start! So I went here to get my brakes and rotors done after shopping around they had the best deal for a man on a budget! So they did a fantastic job and saved even more at the end! Next day my car was having some issues and I thought it might have been from the maintenance so I take it back and they checked it out and found that two of my connectors were severed and frayed through wear and tear so Joe shows me what's wrong and let's me borrow his car to get the part and has one of his guys fix it for me on the house! Talk about great service and going above and beyond for someone in a pinch! Truly a top notch place.

DO NOT go here, they will scam you and/or break your stuff. Went here when I had a flat tire, figured I would just buy a cheap used tire. After Joe talked to me, he sold an electric scooter (to replace my car) and gave my wife his number. After all of this, I was left with no tire, an electric scooter (which I found out to be stolen, one of those Bird scooters around town) and my wife is leaving me. Do NOT come here.

I've used this establishment in multiple occasions. I bought used tires that were "70%" tread left. Every tire that is used is "70%" to the owner even when I pulled depth measurements. I paid $54 per tire and left with my tire pressure monitoring system (tmps) on which they told me it will go off after I drive " for awhile". I checked tire pressure and all tires were set to 60psi, recommended was 80psi. That was my first encounter. I know people make mistakes that's why I didn't judge them on that one experience. The second encounter wasn't bad bought 4 new tires for $900 install and all. ( off brands called iron man) after install I had them ceck psi which was under again by 20psi each tire. They fixed it right away, for a place that sells tires they should know how to read recommended psi. This last experience made me think that the first encounter was just human error which is why I went back for 2 used tires. Again when buying 2 used tires like a parrot "70%, 70%" which in no way they were. I asked how much the owner paused looked up and said "uuummm $240.00?" I asked the owner to justify that price he replied "for 2 tires with 70%, mount and balance with disposal of old tires that's a good deal". I paid him and when truck was finished I left. When I got on highway accelerated to 50mph and had a horrible wobble. I immediately took it back when they checked it they suggested it could be my rim that is bad. Upon further investigation the tire installer couldn't get tire balanced so instead of getting a different tire. When I complained to owner he was apologetic and said " I can't believe they would do that". The owner grabbed another tire that had less tread and told me Its about 70% I argued and told him to just fix it. The owner offered to do an alignment for free the next day at noon for the inconvenience. I agreed and showed up at 11:15am I was told I had 3 cars ahead of me I patiently waited. After 1:30pm I left and will not be back.

I’m so impressed with the level of service I received today. I blew two tires and they stayed open late for me to arrive on the tow. They didn’t have the tires available tonight but will have them there in the morning. They gave me a loaner vehicle so I could get home and to work tomorrow. I have never experienced such kindness and care at any other shop. You can tell how much pride they have in their business and that they truly care about their customers. The work hasn’t even been completed yet and I’m already blown away. Thank you so much for turning a very stressful night into something I didn’t need to worry about at all.

Hit a pot hole. New car with 3300 miles. They were able to find a replacement within spec and realign for $200. This can be extremely difficult for AWD vehicles. Had me back on the road in a little over and hour. They were fantastic. I highly recommend them and will go no where else for tires in the future.

First thing is there is really no space to pull in or park. I needed some new tires but I couldn't park because there was no space. Joe, the manager told me just to park in the driveway. I asked him if I could get new tires and he replied well duh, this is a tire store. Kinda rude but okay. I ask price, he says he has to go look at what he has. I waited 20 minutes and he never came back and no one else helped. Another customer blocked me in. I almost has a complete panic attack. Very stressful. Joe it seemed did not like me. Hey, don't judge someone by the color of there skin!!!!

Joe is a honest and trustworthy guy. Everyone I know that has needed something done got a great deal and quality work from Save on Tires. Gave me an incredible deal for my own car (honestly I think they lost money on it!) and it was super fast. They do more than just tires, and are always willing to help in an emergency.
