Though they were friendly, they are over priced, didn't have what I wanted in stock.... Also I drove all the way from sutherlin and they did not check my tire sensors like I asked to find out which was faulty, they didn't do the sensor rebuilds kits I asked for.... All in all pretty unsatisfied that I drove 2 hrs out of my way for tires that I could have gotten better and cheaper at less schwab across the street from me

I was referred to this location about ten years ago by Honest Alan's Engines. I've had a little work done here and there at other locations but always regret not taking it here in those cases. Needless to say, the vast majority of my car maintenance has been done right here for the following reasons: > Mechanics and Counter Staff who know how to professionally interact with all types of customers. Other places I've been I am often met with awkward staff who are hopefully better at their mechanical work than their customer service. > Reliable work at a fair price. I have always been able to trust that the quote or work done is charged at the fairest possible cost. Being a single mother of many, working multiple jobs to get by, this is a huge deal for me. > Confidence in the skill level of the mechanics. The only other place I have taken my car and felt that the best level of work was done on it was the dealership. And dealership prices are astronomical. > Going above and beyond. They review the work records on your vehicle prior to your appointment and use good and generous judgement in determining what to inspect for with routine maintenance and repairs. I've been grateful when they checked something that hadn't occurred to me and most certainly does not get checked when you take it to a "drive thru" oil change place. > Feeling valued as a customer. Ties back into my first point about customer service. These guys are good. Helpful, considerate and good communicators about the mechanical aspects of your vehicle. > Comfortable waiting area. Clearly well thought out and designed to provide a new level of comfort while getting your car worked on :-D Trust is important when it comes to safety and mechanics that I don't manage myself/understand. I brought my car in for an appointment, the wheel key was not in the back so I had someone bring it from my house, I told the mechanics it would be 4 minutes and they told me they can't wait that long because they close in 20 minutes. With 6 guys standing around doing nothing I'm furious they decided to not finish putting my wheels on because of a 4 minute delay. I will never go here again.

I had a rotation performed at Albany Tire Factory, and it did not come up on the Eugene Tire Factory's records; this leads me to believe that they do not have the computer infrastructure to provide good service... they use this excuse to not honor a warranty, because they didn't have a rotation record (I had even taken the receipt for the tires, in their sleeve, into the Albany location, and once he had rotated the tires, on the receipt sleeve the technician recorded the mileage and initialed it... but that's not good enough for this Eugene location... And I even had the platinum roadside protection.... grr.

Was told to call about my bad tire and that they may help me out due to warranty. But no. They don’t transfer with new owner. Meaning don’t buy new tires from them if your goin to sell your vehicle. I was disappointed they didn’t want to help me out. 1 bad tire = 4 new ones. Lame.

I needed a special tire, an all season radial also good for winter driving for my pick up truck with the mountain snowflake that is required on more and more Canadian roads. I am a snowbird so we also needed to be able to pop in, get the tire change and pop out, travelling on our way. We were towing a travel trailer to make things even more complicated. I contacted them in advance by email and Roy gave me a quote below anyone else from the very few people who could actually find the tires I wanted. We arrived at 3:40pm. The staff guided us in, helped with the unhitching of the travel trailer, rehitching, and we were on the road with exactly the new tires we ended by 4:30pm. Two thumbs up for these guys. They were great!

Guys tried real hard to talk me into getting an alignment with the set of new tires. My truck is brand new with 6500 miles on it with perfect wear on the factory tires. And when I asked for 80 pounds up front and 65 in the back they did it the opposite. I went back in the next day (45 minutes of my time) and I have never seen such a sorry bunch of workers. When one finally got up and put his phone down he told me that’s not how they air up trucks. I again asked for the air to be adjusted (they used nitrogen supposedly so I couldn’t just do this myself) and he said sure. I pulled over to check his work cause he was being weird and they were all set at 72 pounds? Also my tire pressure still varies with temperature and elevation changes. So I’m not sure the nitrogen did anything.

On my recent regular service, my new car dealer stated I should buy at least 2 new tires as recommended based on wear, to the tune of $699. Since I was just about to turn my car in after a 3 year lease I thought I'd check out what another shop would charge me for two tires. The customer service person at the counter inspected my tires and said there was no need to purchase replacement tires so soon and especially since I would not be using the car soon. My excess tire wear should be acceptable for 30k miles during my upcoming end of lease inspection. Because I do not know alot about the cars I drive, I rely on the professionals. I so appreciate when someone cares about doing the right thing and not just try to sell me tires. If I ever need tires in the future, you can bet I'll be returning to see Point S for them. Thank you.

The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was because the mechanic did not give me the correct information about recalibrating my tires after the service...my car is a 2019 and needed to be recalibrated using the settings button..I had to research how to do that...I should not have had to do that..other than that, it was s great experience. I will definitely return when I need to.

Patrick was the first person I spoke with on the phone. He was very helpful, patient and kind and he answered all of my questions. Went I went in for my new tires, Andrew happily greeted me and answered more questions I had. He was thorough and very helpful. I bought the Nokian Rotiiva HT tires. Only had them for 1 day so far but so far so good. These tires have a 70k warranty, UTQG 720, 12/32” tread depth.... should be able to get a long life out of these tires as long as I rotate on time as well as alignments when needed and proper tire inflation. I would visit them again. They also have a very nice waiting room with coffee. A small mention... I went in with a slight headache, very mild but the hour that I waited in the waiting room progressed from headache to migraine to nausea, the tire fumes are intense. They permeate the air and furniture and your hair and clothes lol man i was getting nauseous in there so i waited outside for the last half hour which helped but when i got home i had to shower and change right away cuz my hair and clothes wreaked of tires n stuck in my nostrils and sinuses for hours It is a tire store, I get that.... but holy hell!

A week ago, I severely damaged the rim of one of my tires while out of town. Frustrated by limited aid from AAA during that experience and stressed by driving 200 miles on a spare tire of what could be described as ‘dubious condition’, I was definitely not in the greatest mood the next morning when calling around to replace the wheel. My friend recommended Point S, so I called ahead, spoke to Roy about getting a replacement wheel (“I’m not sure there’d be anywhere in town with a tiny ‘07 Yaris wheel except the dealership,” he said- and he was definitely right.) I loaded the dead wheel into my friend’s car and we got over there. Roy had a great blend of empathy and amusement when I deposited the ex-wheel on the counter 30 minutes later, remembering both my name and car model off the top of his head. He offered to call around to find a used wheel and to see if the tire could be salvaged. I got a call several hours later that the tire seemed alright, and that he’d found a used but OEM replacement wheel in Washington and gave me the quote. I told him I’d found a new wheel online that could be delivered two days faster for $10 less. Rather than pressure me to get the wheel he’d found, he encouraged me to get the new wheel as we would know the condition. Once it arrived, I brought the wheel in (yet again he recognized me and remembered the car/specs, and had safely stowed my salvaged tire.) They had me in and out in 30 minutes for $23. So grateful for their efficiency, empathy, reasonable pricing and honesty. Will be my go-to place in the future- thanks Roy (and all the other employees!)

I needed to get my tires rotated and used the online make an appointment scheduling. It was my lunch hour so i needed it done in that window of time. It was extremely fast and they finished in less then the projected 45 minutes. After the rotation i got a phone called that it was finished and i walked in to pick up my key. Was desperately looking for a tire for my volt to replace an almost new one that I damaged. I needed it quickly and didn't want to break the bank. I called around and got a bunch of prices and them called Point S. As they have always been great...they had a USED one that was perfect! I drove over at 445 and they check it out and said they could take care of it while I waited. 40 minutes later I had a replacement tire, they fixed a slow leak on another and the price was a full 1/4 of what the other guys were going to charge me. These guys are always great, great service, products and attitude. They have earned the title as my go to spot!

After being seriously let down by a competing tire shop on my only day off and with not much money to spend and a balding tire with a hole in it I was sure I'd be rolling the dice every time I drove for the next week. On a hunch I called point s because I drove by and saw they price match. I called and spoke to Roy who was very helpful and friendly. Came in with an emergency flat repair. My tire couldn't be patched due to a tear in the tire. They happily showed me the damage, very severe. They set us up with a used tire with 70% tread for a little less than $50 total cost. Whole experience took about an hour. Great, honest, and friendly folks.
