Customer Service is the absolute best. These guys go above and beyond for us every time we bring our car in. Truly the best place in central Oregon for tires or small repairs. I have been to countless other companies in Bend/Redmond and Point S has absolutely earned our trust for life.

The worst service! Today I went in (8/14/18), they quoted me $200 and 1 hour to mount and balance 4 tires. I agreed because I was in a hurry. It took 3 hours!! And they charged me $319!!! And they scratched my brand new wheels! I paid. Just ridiculous, I will NEVER go there again and I'll tell all my friends the same.

My experience was great! I called and they were able to get me in that week for a brake service. They were very pleasant to work with and very friendly. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I have an extended warranty which pays a portion of some of the services required on a car - but they told me they don’t take extended warranties so I have to send in a receipt to the warranty company and wait a month to receive a refund for the portion the warranty company pays which is a little annoying/inconvenient as it’s more money up front out of my pocket but... the service is great. If they would take extended warranties I’d give them 5 stars hands down!

I was having THE WORST day! Point S was actually my fourth tire place of the day. I was exhausted and frustrated and about to give up. Tyler Smith made everything a breeze. He was so friendly and kind and they had me out of there in under and hour. I live in Prineville but I will be making the trip to Point S in Redmond from now on. So worth it!

I was quoted $470 to do some work on my pickup.. Dropped it off and later that evening went in to pick it up and job wasn't complete and I was told by Brian that X didn't need to be fixed but O did need to be fixed and the charge would be about the same! I said go ahead and fix O... Went to get it the next afternoon and he charged me $1392.00! Huge difference and wouldn't negotiate!! Not only did he argue with me that I didn't have an appointment that day (which ended up being the call centers mistake) I had to reschedule, bring in following day and no call with the X&O problems just waited for me to come in and get my pickup that should've been completed to let me know what needed to be done !!. So had to leave the pickup for another day!! It was a AWFUL and EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE!

I have fairly new tires on my pick up. I did however happen to pick up a screw. I took it in to have my tire patched like I’ve done at various other locations in the past. Once the tire was off the truck I was told I needed to buy a new tire. Having had flat tires in the past and the location of the screw which was no where near the the shoulder I asked that they put the tire back on the truck. I simply went to another store for a second opinion where they said we can fix it no problem. I was in and out in 15 min and they also topped off my windshield wiper fluid.

I would give a five star rating, but the inconvenience of dealing with the Goodyear credit people tainted the experience. They need to clean that up, the six months same as cash is awesome when you have to put $1,000 worth of tires on your rig. The service in the office and speed of the installation, over estimated the time, was so much better than that other tire place in town. I will not hesitate to continue to give Gill's Point S my business until they give me a reason not to.

Overall timeliness of overall service was good. Pricing seemed comparable to all the other places around. I bit better honesty and quality than other tire service organizations in town. One complaint is that I had two pretty good “summer” tires that I told them I wanted to keep that were not in my trunk when I got home. I called the next day and they told me I could come down and go through their tire pile and see if I could find them. I was on my way to pick up horse feed and did not have the time or room to look for my good tires and haul them off. I was hoping they could locate them and set them aside so I could pick them up as time allowed.

Where to begin. Horrible horrible horrible service. Stood waiting for over 20 minutes for the front desk guy to finish his personal phone call. Finally somebody from the shop came in and couldn't find the front desk guy, shop guy at least apologized and tried to help me. 2 week old tires were already noticeably out of balance. Then given a really bad story about how my wheels are now suddenly were bent and it wasn't their fault. Front desk guy very put off with helping me when he finally did show up. My wife just today called about something else and guy on the phone was horribly rude. NEVER going back. I'll take the lines at Les Schwab or Discount tire.

Called Point S to drop off the car for a tire rotation. We bought tires from them a little while back because we wanted a change from Les Schwabs expensive tires. Saved $$$. We planned on dropping the car off overnight but when we got there at 4:30 they pulled the car right in and did the rotation. No cost. They encouraged an oil change and when all was said and done, 45 minutes later, we were driving the car home. Great service with great attitudes, especially right before closing!

I called in less than a month ago to get a quote on how much getting a alignment on my tires would be and I was told around $75. Today I walked in being told they were too busy, this was morning time, they scheduled me an appointment(I was told on the phone it was first come first serve) and that they were now going to charge me $130 about over all. It was disrespectful how they talked down on me and how disrespectful it was that they tried to convince me to come alone and without my father. I was completely respectful even though I was being treated like I was dumb. I was obviously shaken about how much the price changed and wanted to walk out, I can find somewhere cheaper easily.

They installed new tires on my Chevy SUV fast and quick. I have always had a aluminum rim that wants to leak on the bead due to road de-icer eating them. They got it stopped. They did offered a option to have the rims powder coated any color for a fraction of the cost of new rims. I like they didn't press for $1000 of new ones.

William did an excellent job, very knowledgeable on tires. They had what we needed in stock, and were able to get the tires on the same day. The waiting room had free bottled water and they were playing positive and encouraging movies. Was a very nice change from what I am used to at other tire shops. I will definitely be getting my next set of tires here as well. I highly recommend this place.

We had an appointment for saturday morning. 2 vehicles and 8 new tires. We left the suv at 8:30, returned at 9:45 and waited another 1/2 hour for it to be done. Was told the truck would go in next. They would not let us pay for both, so we paid for the suv and waited for the truck to go in. An hour later the truck still had not gone in while 2 other vehicles went in before us. We left and they lost a 1,000 + sale after we had already paid 600+ for the suv.

Bryce was awesome. My car needed complete brake replacement and axle replaced. Dropped off Thursday morning and had the car finished by 5:30 . Quote given was incorrect by 300.00 die to a math error. They were honest about it and adjusted my invoice down to the correct price.

I realize it’s an oxymoron to say “honest car mechanic” but that IS what you get from these guys. I always get more service for less money than expected. They never try to “upsell” me. I would be comfortable sending my grandmother or my 20something daughter there.

I took my flat repair in at 8:30 am. Went to pick it up at 1pm and it still wasn't ready. The counter person acted like it was my fault they were busy. I've bought tires from this company for years and have watched them progressively go downhill. If they don't want to service the customers and take care of repairs they should say so up front. Having worked in the tire business I know you can always make time for a flat repair, especially when it's already off the vehicle. I'll not go to point s in redmond again. .

Bought a new set of tires in March, have tried 4 separate times to get them rotated and balanced. i have had to rotate them myself in my driveway because they are always to busy to get to them when I call or stop and offer to leave the vehicle. the parking area and shop areas are empty. They were sure glade to take my money for new tires and had no problem getting right on getting them installed, but have no service after the fact. DO NOT SHOP HERE, go to Walmart and get tires at least you know they can get you taken care of after the sale.

I took my car in for a front end alignment and was told I needed approx. $680 in repairs first. Myself being a back yard mechanic wanted to check it out first and then I took it to another shop and didn't say anything about the so called repairs needed. That shop said I did not need any repairs and in fact the car was in perfect alignment. Always get a second opinion when dealing with business. I will not be going back and not recommend them to anyone.

I've had two bad experiences with Point S in Redmond, Oregon. Firstly, this summer I took my wife's 2003 Acura MDX in to have the tires rotated because it had been over a year, but only about 3000 miles. They told me that some of the lug nuts on the front right tire were frozen and that they couldn't remove the them without breaking some of the bolts. I told them to wait since I was going to buy new tires before winter. My wife, my daughter, and her friend all hopped in the car and drove to Bend, about 20 minutes away. When we picked up speed on the highway, the right front tire started vibrating. When we arrived in Bend, I looked at the wheel and saw that the security lug nut was missing. I called Point S and they claimed that the lug nut was already missing. Well, I had washed the car the day before and it wasn't missing. I had also told them while I was there that my daughter and her friend, who was visiting from England, were going on a week-long driving trip through Oregon and California starting the next day with this MDX. So, they lied to me about removing the security nut and I also feel that they were going to put my daughter in a dangerous situation because they left a nut off the wheel. This is not cool, all for the price of a security lug nut that they had removed and not put back on. Are tire installation businesses generally in the business of sending cars out with a missing lug nut? Secondly, I decided not to order tires from Point S for the same car because of the lug nut issue. I ordered them from Walmart online and the tires came in on Friday. I drove over to Walmart last Saturday at 7:30 am and the mechanic got all the tires off except for the front right one with the frozen lug nuts. He broke two of the bolts. He called me and told me I needed to take the car to a wheel shop. I swung by Les Schwab, but it had snowed early on the mountains, and everyone in Redmond appeared to be getting their winter tires on early. I hated to do it, but I called Point S, since I had bought the tires that were on the car there anyway. By 11:30 am, they had replaced the broken bolts by replacing the entire hub. They only charged me cost, because Tyler knew I wasn't happy about what had happened that previous summer, so that was nice. I drove back over to Walmart and they put on my new tires. But on the way home, I heard a loud clunk when I drove over the smallest of bumps, and sometimes a tinkling sound when I took corners. I drove back to Walmart and had the guy who put my tires on listen to the bumps. He told me that it wasn't the tires and to take the car back to Point S. So, I arrived at Point S and 2:15 pm, 45 minutes before closing. Tyler, the manager, noticed my new tires and was disappointed that I didn't buy them from him. I told him my problem and he had his mechanic look at it. 30 minutes later the mechanic reported that there wasn't a problem and that he couldn't hear anything. Wow! Really? I left there more frustrated than ever. So, I had to wait until Tuesday, today, when I had an appointment at Marshalls Automotive for an oil change. I told the owner about my problem and in a hour, they not only changed my oil changed, but also found outside nut had been loosened on the right, front strut. Why? They couldn't explain it, as Point S should not have had to loosen this to replace the hub. Why would Point S do this? It is a mystery that will not be solved because I am never stepping foot in that place again. BTW, the issue is now fixed...no thanks to Point S. I have been going to this tire shop through three different names, CTS Tire, Redmond Tire, and one other for about eight years. It is a shame that Point S bought it and then ruined this wonderful place. I cannot go to a business where I cannot trust the employees to do a good job. Too bad Ted is not there anymore.
