This place just isn’t a good place for tires. Bad customer service. The bald headed guy who I believe is manager completely thinks he knows it all, and the alignment guy puts false info into the system so that next time you go in, they won’t help you. Might aswell put the tires myself.

With snowflakes in the forecast I checked my tires and realized that I needed to get them replaced. I stopped in at the McMinnville Point S just a few minutes to 4 on a Saturday thinking that they were open until 5. They close at 4 on Saturday's, but that didn't stop them from helping me out! They showed me the different tire options for my car and I was willing to schedule an appointment for the following week to get them replaced. The staff was absolutely amazing and was willing to stay a little late to replace my tires for me right then instead of having to come back! The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome despite showing up right before they closed. In less than 30 minutes I was back on the road. During my visit I also found out that they do oil changes too. I will be back for not just tires in the future but for other work I need done on my car too! Thank you guys for taking such good care of me!

These guys don’t have great customer service skills. When I get a vehicle service I expect to know how much it will cost. The person on the phone quoted a fraction of the cost of the service, which I didn’t find out about until afterward when I was on the hook to pay. They have been condescending and poor at communicating on more than one occasion. If you go here, make sure you get your estimate in writing, compare prices before you go, and try to ignore the attitude.

Zero stars. Wasted my time and my gas because I drove there after getting a price on the phone and they more than doubled it after I got there. They are more expensive than les schwabs. What happened was they did not ask me on the phone if the tires were purchased there. They were not, i order my own good tires for cheap through walmart, and Gills Point S charges way more in that case. Was not my mistake but theirs and they did not honor the quote. I went to Moreno tires and saved $50 and an hour. Moreno won't punish you with rediculous pricing for not buying your tires from them.

Today I went in to get a tire checked because it was leaking. Joe the assistant manager got me right in and notified me that I needed a new tire because I had a puncture in the side wall of my current tire. He showed me a great set of new tires And gave me a great deal. Very happy with the service and his helpfulness. I will be back! Thank you Joe!

I had been going to this place for years. They're under new management and I feel like I am homeless. I got the run around last time I took my car in and it seems like they don't care if they have my business or not (probably related to the way they always use my husbands name , even after I asked them to change it because I manage the maintenance of all our cars). After making the minimum purchase, because they gave me the run-around, they didn't even do what they said they were going to do. Add to that they charged me a premium! I know cars and car maintenance, don't treat me like I'm 5. I'll never go here again.

This place is great for tires BUT horrible for anything else! They have no properly trained people for mechanical work...especially alignments. They made my wife drive away with a dangerous vehicle pulling hard right when she arrived with one that tracked fine and on both visits wrote up my vehicle for false problems. There were other customers there also suffering the same problems while we were there. My advice; go someplace that hires certified people who are also old enough to have some experience! I would give 0 stars except they won't let this post go up without at least 1.

I went there for a mount and balance on the tires and wheels I brought with me and they tried to charge me $200. I don’t think they realized I’m a fleet manager and realized they were trying to rip me off. I went to Point S in newberg(10 mins away) and was only charged $71 for the exact same service. I’ll let everyone know the scams they are running at this location. Extremely disappointed in their professionalism and will never shop here again. Edit: I manage a fleet of 20 vehicles and I know when you are ripping somebody off. $200 is absolutely outrageous and I price checked 3 other stores on my way to Newberg, all of them at least half your price and better customer service. You guys are a joke and I’ll tell everyone to avoid you at all cost.

I went just to get a tire rotation because the tires were bought there. The guy there said it would be a 3 hour wait. I asked if I could leave the car there and to call me when it's done, his attitude was like he didn't want that. Told me to come back during the weekday, like come on I'm here on the weekend because I work during the weekday. So I'm thinking I'll just take my business to Les Schwab's. I left never gonna return here

I have been doing business with Mcminnville point S for years, way back to when they were tire factory, the service and treatment my wife and myself have received over the years is outstanding... once my wife had a wheel bearing lock up on her Subaru Forester, they sent a tow truck{no charge}to rescue her and my kids and fixed everything that afternoon. I would recommend them for everything from tires to service on your vehicle, they have a friendly/skilled technician on site and are knowledgeable and competitively priced..

The guys in the shop are great, but this place has twice now sold me tires different than what I ordered. They say the tires will be the same (I wanted exact match so I wouldn't have different tires left and right) but when I show up and the work is done, the tires are not even close to the same. But, what can you do, make they change back to your old tires? I'm in a hurry so forced to accept the wrong tires. Don't go here if you care what kind of tires you will get.

Always short staffed. Online appointment booking does no good. Store doesn't check email for online bookings and has no knowledge of your appointment when you arrive. Then they blame the home office in San Diego. Will not return to this location. May try others, just not this one.

I absolutely love the team here at Point S! They go over everything and make sure that your vehicles is taken care of so that way you can be safe. I wish they had these in So Cal because the customer service by far out weighs Discount/ Americas tires. Small town feel with a big town punch. I highly recommend anyone going here if your looking for tires, oil change , or any suggestions for your auto needs , if they do not have a good deal for you on site they will find one. Matt, Ethan, Mario, & Darrell all do an exceptional job of being very outgoing , thorough and punctual. They do not take your time or money for-granted what so ever. THANKS GUYS!
