I came into Del's most recently to have 2 tires with air leaks patched, pretty easy and affordable fix at $14 a tire. When it came time to pay they told me not to worry about it and to have a nice day. I have taken all of my vehicles here for repair and they have always been good to me.

We are on vacation up here from St George, Utah. I had a slow leak in one of my tires. They got me right in and fixed it. I met Klyde the owner while I was waiting. We talked for a few minutes. What a great guy. When the service was done he insisted that it was complimentary and all that he asked is that I find a point s tires to buy my tires in the future. I would highly recommend this shop whether you're in town or passing through.

I was a bit dismayed in that the whining noise coming from engine compartment was not diagnosed and reported to me with an offer to fix. I am still waiting to here about the 2 in. lift kit. I have asked about it repeatedly because of my disabilities sustained during my time on the Russian Front. I need my vehicle a bit higher so I don't have to experience the pain of entering/exiting the vehicle Bet you didn't know American G.I's spent time on the Russian Front did you? On a lighter note wonderful work on the hub. God bless . . .

Disrespectful employees the idiot was beating on my husbands truck to remove a tire and told my husband that he knew what he was doing turns out he didn't and my husband was right. The employee continued beating on the 10 lug conversion before finally realizing he was wrong. I will never go back and never refer this company. I spent 600 on 2 new tires to be disrespected. Very unsatisfied customer.

Tried this place out after being a Les Schwab customer for years. We were initially happy to spend over $500 for a new set of tires. We were told that we should get new wheels because our current ones were slightly bent. The gentlemen that sold us the tires said we could come back anytime with wheels from anywhere and they would put their tires on our new wheels. We found wheels we liked and when we called them to ask when we could come in and have the tires put on we were told they couldn't put on wheels that weren't purchased directly from them. We were told by the store manager this and when we asked to get a call from the owner we were never contacted. Miscommunication happens in human beings. But to be lied to by 2 different people is diheartening. We will not be back and will continue to support their competitors due to this experience.

If I could pick zero stars I would. Coming here was the worst experience I've ever had just trying to get a busted tire fixed. My family has a point s business account in another town so that's why I came here instead of the competitor shop just down the road. My experience and how i was treated as well was quite disappointing. I will never come here again and I dont recommend anyone else do it either.

When you are on vacation in a tourism area. You never know what you will get when dealing with a mechanic. Will they be rude and condescending? Will they gouge you with a high price just and take advantage of your misfortune? We picked up a screw in our tire at some point and noticed that our tire was going flat when we were at the Astoria column. We put on the spare donut tire and headed to the closest shop: Del's. The service was friendly and fast. The mechanic even put more air in the spare and then helped me mount it back under the vehicle. When it was finished he said "That will do it. Thank you." There was no charge. Thank you Del's!!!

I've bought tires from Del's twice now in the past 5 years and returned in Spring 2018 to get an estimate for my brakes. Apparently, there had been a change in ownership. I waited for a half hour for my 'estimate' which was $1000! It included all new calipers, rotors, brake pads, and labor. Now, if I had needed all those things, that price would have been fine. But because my car only had 60k miles on it, I felt that was incorrect. I went to another place where I get my oil changed and showed them the estimate. They explained that what Del's had done was to just give me the price for all new parts regardless of whether my car needed them or not and that the half hour of them doing the estimate was a joke. I assumed they had taken apart the car to look at the brakes, see if the rotors could be resurfaced, and if new calipers were necessary. That part is my fault. I assumed this and didn't ask enough questions. The Second Place I went told me that doing the work for the estimate that I assumed Del's was doing would have taken a very long time, not just 30 minutes, which is why no one usually does that kind of in depth estimate. Fair enough! But why was I kept waiting for 30 minutes? So the Second Place told me that they wouldn't know whether they could resurface the rotors until they got into the project and they highly doubted that I needed new calipers as the miles were fairly low. They gave me estimates for all possibilities. I also went to a Third Place where they laughed outright at the idea that I needed new calipers! I needed my hatch fixed, so I went to this garage to get it all done at once. They fixed my hatch, did my brakes (I did NOT need calipers!) and they were able to resurface the rotors and of course put in all new brake pads. So! Instead of paying $1000 for all new parts I didn't need, I got an honest estimate, a fixed hatch, and brakes that are working perfectly 2 months after the job for $497. The cost of the parts for the hatch was $120, btw. So, to my dismay, I cannot recommend Del's except for tires and after this experience, I'm going to research things a lot more thoroughly all around.

Took my car in, screw in the tire. Told them if it couldn't be repaired to put two new tires on in back. Just called, car is ready, repaired tire when they could have sold me two new tires. That's pretty honest. That's why I go there all the time. And there was no charge. This is why I buy my tires there.

Our "tire repair kit" that came with our car didn't work for you-know-what, and he was there for us when we needed someone. Unnecessary... Background on me worked at a AAA top shop in tacoma, second day on the job did thousands of dollars in "damage" by bumping a door on a lift. Owned up to it worked there two more years. Took our Tahoe in for four used tires and alignment, guys did great on that and the price is great for what we needed at the time. What makes me apprehensive about going back is just effin annoying cause I like going to the auto shop I'mma car guy. Got the car back with 3 center caps outta four. O.K I'll double check at home checked the two places it would be next to the 1/2 inch socket driver and 3/8 driver to remove center cap not there, not sitting where the tire was sitting. No big deal told em to keep an eye out for it. The big deal which is absolutely not a big deal at all....both my license plate markers where hanging outta the rear bumper when we got there. "Ok strange, guess someone couldn't figure out how to lower the spare and started tearing into stuff." Got home took a closer look both retaing clips on the back side had been broken off. Brought it up on the phone to Sheldon who replied "Tech said they were broken upon arrival" Uhhh huh 2 years we've owned this truck, know the prior owner as well, the lights never hung out and even if I had ever messed with them I know ita just a 1/4 turn to the left on the back side of the outlet to pop out the socket and replace the 194 bulb. So the tech or someone is lying straight up about stupid parts I'll probably get for free from astoria auto wrecking because they are such a cheap part. So yeah definitely don't believe they never saw center cap now if they cant tell the truth about something so stupid. In summary, if you cant own up to stuff no matter how small why should I trust you, why try to deal with something like this over the phone? Unprofessional get me in the shop and talk to me face to face don't just tell me I'm wrong over the phone and don't deadhead me in a convo I deserve an out not a dead end. Patrick seemed nice to talk to on the phone, sheldon seemed condescending as my gf had told me he treated her upon drop off of the vehicle would keep him away from customer contact.

Del's Point S couldn't or maybe wouldn't fix my problem. My tire blew out, and I had to drive on a donut until payday. Went in hoping to buy a used tire till taxes come, then get a new set. They only had a new one for 198, I was going to spend my grocery money and just get it, I'd make it work. They said I HAVE to buy 2 or 4 tires its AWD and having different sizes might possibly mess up the transfer case or transmission. I couldn't afford that so they can't do it. I have to drive to and from work my kid to school, and baby to appointments. Tell me how having a donut on is better for my car then letting me buy one tire. I gave them 2 stars because this was my only bad experience there.
