Highly recommend Buntings! They ordered a replacement muffler for my F250 and Myron built a custom tail pipe out of 3" steel tubing. He used a bender machine to make a custom pipe and welded all the hangers, etc. - and it looks great! Outstanding work for a reasonable price and I did not have to wait! Go here if you need what they service!

I took my car into Buntings for my Breaks to be repaired. I wanted to add that they got me in quickly and they fixed it up in a great price! They stand behind their work and if any thing goes wrong within the year that they warranty the work. I did have to go back in and get some warranty work done and it was no charge and they also got me back in quickly! Won't align your vehicle depending on the brand of your vehicle..... It's an alignment, if they can't work any manufacturer that speaks to their ability to work on cars. Be careful here.

I am so happy I took my car to Bunting's they saved me a ton of money! Part of my muffler broke off on my 2004 Honda Element after I backed into a snow pile and I first brought it to the Honda dealership in The Dalles, OR. They said they would not be able to repair it without replacing my entire exhaust system, which would cost $2,000. I couldn't believe it so I waited a little bit before having the work done because it was still winter and I didn't want to put any new parts on until winter was over. In the meantime I decided to check out Buntings and they said if they needed to replace the entire exhaust system it would be way cheaper. I brought my Honda in and they fixed my muffler (which did not need a complete exhaust replacement) for $65!!!!!! That included the labor! WOW was I surprised that I was about to spend $2,000 at Honda Dealership. Thank you Buntings!!!!

While visiting Hood River in mid-November for a medical procedure, we had a problem with the heater on our car. A local person at a coffee shop recommended Buntings, so we drove there, explained the problem, and after looking up what part would probably be needed and giving us a verbal quote, the owner said he could have the car ready for us by 5:00 PM (in about 2 hours, even though his assistant had already told us they were heavily booked up with work). He then had his wife drive us to our hotel, which was extremely kind of both of them. He called us at 4:45 to say the car was ready and that he'd soon be there to return it. He soon knocked on our door and explained that the car hadn't needed a new part at all. The problem had been caused by a low level of anti-freeze. We took him back to his shop, he put in more anti-freeze and charged us less than half of what he'd quoted us to fix our car. Imagine our surprise! We HEARTILY RECOMMEND BUNTINGS!

I had my winter tires swapped out for my summer tires at Buntings in 2014. A few weeks later my car start making a funny noise. That funny noise was the stem of the bolts shearing off! When I discovered that this was the case, there was ONE bolt left holding the tire on. The scary part was I was almost going to be on the freeway when the last bolt would have sheared off. SCARY!! At the end they made it right and towed my car to the shop and replaced the stem bolts. I would have not thought to write a review however today I came across someone who was broke down. Turns out they had their tires swapped out at Buntings also. I was floored when she told me this. This is a safety issue that they need to be aware of, and fix so someones tire does not fly off on the freeway and kill them!

Great, local, kind, affordable. What more can you ask for from a car shop? Judy & JD over here at Bunting's were more than helpful getting my 2000 Subaru back to a safe driving condition at a price that really beat some of the other shops around town. Very satisfied with the quickness and honesty that I received from the workers here. Called and got an alignment appointment for the same day, and when JD saw that there were things that would ruin the alignment right after the work would be done, he called and worked with me on finding the best solution to get the car on the road safely. All in all, a very satisfied customer right here. I was recommended from a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone around Hood River.

To start the price was right. But that only gets so much respect, the clincher was the fact that Bob the man I dealt with had integrity. He gave me his real opinion even though he probably could have upsold me and cheated me. I was highly impressed with the speed and quality of service as well ( they even checked my tires I didn't buy from them and got them aired properly for my haul). If you need tires in the area and appreciate being treated like a friend with those you give your money to, I HIGHLY recommend these folks.
