The work that we had done, oil change, battery replacement, etc. was reasonable, but when I picked up the car, they suggested another $540 of repairs for seals in the pinion/differential transfer case because of seepage. I asked if there were cheaper options, if it could be delayed, if there was an option of 'topping off' the lost fluids. No, don't delay, can't do were my answers. I grew up around used cars and farm repairs, so thought this sounded a little fishy. Took it to a different, reputable mechanic who checked the fluid levels, told me fluids were like new, and seals had minimal seepage, no leaks. Cost me $16. This kind of treatment just to boost sales is JUST NOT RIGHT! Lost another customer.

Took my Ford F-150 here and they told me my truck needed new brakes, new rotors, and new calipers. Quoted me$1040.00 Took my truck to Landers Ford the next day they said rotors and calipers were fine and just lasered and turned rotors or whatever and put new pads on all for $180.00. Glad I got a 2nd opinion before emptying the bank.....

People bring vehicles to shops like this because they expect professional service and work to be performed when they say it will be completed. This shop has a very difficult time in performing work on time. Dropped a vehicle off at 11am, but after calling to check on progress work hasn't even been started at 4:30pm..... not very professional. Shame on me though, I've experienced this each time I have used this shop and still used them again. Last time used, guaranteed!

Very professional crew. I've never had a problem scheduling an appointment, even though they also seem very busy. I never felt like they were trying to gouge me on services or upsell me more than is understandable, and I feel confident in the work they do. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of how expensive everything is, which I get is probably the same everywhere else in town but I think that $520 for a change of brake pads and an oil change is a bit overpriced. Still, the job was done in a timely manner and the staff were all very respectful and pleasant so I would recommend this place for most vehicle needs.

I've never had a less than excellent experience with these guys. They're friendly, informative, and they don't try to sell you crap you don't need. They do great work, and I have yet to call and not get an appointment in less than 24 hours. The lifetime alignment deal is absolutely worth every cent and can be used at any freaking location! Family has always been involved with Goodyear growing up, but over the last 5 years, I've just experienced an I-don't-give-a-crap attitude with them and getting an appointment was always a struggle. Firestone blows them away. You won't be disappointed.

So the first time I came here, I had excellent service. But when I came here last week I was quoted to have my services done within the hour, walked around for about an hour and 15 minutes came back and they hadn't even started it, rescheduled for this week and was told I'd have to be rescheduled because I was a few minutes late.....I am not pleased as I am a delivery driver and it's of the utmost importance that my vehicle be kept up on service.....unfortunately will be trying to locate a different place to go now.

Talk to Tim over the phone explained my situation with my car. I explained I had a lifetime alignment what Firestone that I usually go and get my car aligned in Washington State. I stayed to Tim that one of the Firestone that was in Washington State didn't take care of me on my alignment very good, all I had to do explain to him what the situation was and he end up scheduling me an appointment on my schedule and work with me to get my car in as soon as possible to get my alignment done. I'm very happy with the service that this Firestone gave me. I was able to get my alignment done within about 45 minutes got in and out within an hour. Very fast service. Also showed me print out of the alignment what was out and they put my car back into alignment and explained what was out and why I was getting the tire wear that I was getting. I recommend going to the Firestone and talking to Tim he's very professional and I was very happy with the work that the shop did very happy with the service by the other employees as well very nice and polite. I would definitely come back I actually live in Williston North Dakota and I live five and a half hours away and I will be coming to this Firestone a lot more. I do recommend does Firestone. I give it a five-star across the board.

Service was friendly and helpful. Went in for a repair at 10 am and was back on the road by 1 pm. They didn't have my tire in stock, so they had someone rush it over from another nearby location. Overall, very good service - my only complaint is that they assured me they'd get me out by 12:30, but it was after 1 pm by the time they actually finished.

Will never go to this place again. Went in for a front end alignment, was told it couldn’t be aligned because the gearbox and joints needed to be replaced, EVEN QUOTED & PRINTED THESE “PROBLEMS” FOR $2,300, then charged me for the alignment they couldn’t do. I left with my car in the exact same condition it was in when I arrived, with $150 less dollars. Took my car to Xpress tire and lube and, apparently, my gearbox is perfectly fine. They aligned my car with no problem whatsoever. Firestone is an absolute ripoff in my and many others I’ve spoken too since. Apparently, they’re famous for looking for problems that don’t exist. Only wish I’d have asked around before hand.

We brought in our 2005 Chevy Trailblazer with the check engine light on. They read the codes and replaced the bad sensors. The service was fantastic at a very reasonable cost. They also provide military discounts! I brought my truck back a few weeks later because it had another issue. They checked it out and instead of trying to sell me one of their batteries, they successfully negotiated with the parts store I bought the battery from to replace the battery that was in the truck (the battery was under warranty). They replaced the battery and put in a new terminal because the original was failing. The mechanics double checked the work they did earlier and everything was still working perfectly. I will definitely go back to Firestone for all of our vehicle repairs.

Had troubles with my truck since I bought it had a terrible wobble and the alignment just couldnt get right. After telling them everything that I had been threw they fixxed it perfectly! And told me everything that was wrong before. I have a lifetime alignment with them and plan to go back for other services as well! awesome customer service fair price and quick work! One night I couldnt pick my truck up that night so they pulled it inside the shop for me! thats the little extra stuff that makes a world of difference to me.

I am giving this location 3 stars the customer service with Melissa was great!!! I last minute changes what tires I wanted and they got them there within 1 hour which wasn't a problem either. Where the problems started was the amount of time it took to change the tires and do the alignment it took them 1 1/2 hours to get it done which is Abit crazy to me I have never waited that long for that kind of service and the tires were already off of the car.

I had a very good experience at Firestone when I took my vehicle there for 4 tires. The guys that I dealt with were very personable and weren't trying to up sell everything under the sun, only things that probably should be done. For being there on a Sunday I was in the waiting room for a long time but these guys were slammed with work and there were only 2 mechanics and a guy working the desk but they somehow managed to keep the vehicles rolling in and out. They also seemed to try and get me out of there asap since I was waiting. The tires I bought were very reasonably priced and after this experience there I will be back.

Wish I started coming here sooner. Recently visited because it was the only place able to do a state inspection rather quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining a potential issue with my tires. Made recommendations on different services I could benefit from without being too pushy about it. They kept trying to sell me things my vehicle does not need, e.g., "spark plugs...." I had a complete tune up w new spark plugs less than a year ago. Firestone should not have even opened my hood to do an alignment and install 4 new tires! They possibly did NOT even do the alignment. A professional job enough time--8am till before 10am--when they called to tell me "you're vehicle is ready?" Both Mr. Rob Reynolds and Mr. Terrance Pulliam are sincere and probably trustworthy. But, Firestone operating practices .... not so much! Just my personal experience this morning. Good luck to you....little ole ladies beware!

Our van broke down in Wyoming on a Friday afternoon (wheel bearing). It was Saturday afternoon by the time we got towed into Firestone. don't like firestone at all , way over priced , $ 420.00 was quoted for a spark plug and wire replacement , not possible . and they estimate one hour for oil change , cant see that possible I normally go to auto experts in grand forks , 66.00 per hour and ALWAYS are good on their work , they are honest , been going to auto experts in grand forks for almost 8 years , excellent work they do , EVERYONE try auto experts , I have the papers on my spark plug replacement and wires , ONLY WAS $ 186.00 auto experts was , you tell me how they come up with $ 420.00 , hum .

My experience at the Firestone establishment in Rapid City, South Dakota, was exceptional. I was on a trip of three weeks and about to head back to Virginia when a slow leak developed in one tire when at Hill City. Steve, the manager, was most responsive to my issue; and Peggy, an employee, promptly called the warehouse to verify that a suitable tire for my vehicle was available. Steve picked up the tire in a most timely manner, and saw to it that my repair was completed expeditiously and that I was able to be on my way. The attention that I received was superb! Plus the list they have me if the things they said I would need in the future. So I took it where I could get it done cheaper bought the part I needed and went somewhere else. Well guess what? there was nothing wrong with my left control arm or motor mount. 3 mechanics looked at it! Firestone was trying to rip me off because I am a woman and they thought they could burn me! Never will I go here again and never will I recommend it. Usually Firestone employees just get your reason for your visit and take your keys and you wait for services and sent on you way after they explain what they did and their recommendations. Rob made me feel like I was a regular and made my visit very inviting and interesting.

I needed to get 2 replaced and called before I went up there. They told me that they would squeeze me in and get it done by 6. I called at 5:30 to check on it, and was informed that they were running late. I needed my truck that night so they said they would stay late to finish it about 6:30. While it was not ready when I showed up, they still told me it would be finished that night. I made other arrangements until I could get back to pick it up. I arrived at 9 and it was finished, locked up out front and ready to go. Rob and Wally do a great job with this store. I hope to never deal with Firestone in my life again. Took my car there a few weeks ago for a squeaking in my rear tire. Called to make an appointment, then showed up to drop it off work one day and they were too busy to look at it. So I agreed to bring it in the next day. When I brought it inthe next day, they said that I had a bad wheel bearing that needed to be replaced, but the parts wouldn't be in for two days. So I came back two days later. Got the wheel bearing replaced. However, I was still having the same squeaking noise I originally came in for, on top of a new metal-scraping noise. Brought it back the next day, had the mechanic drive in my car with me for 30 minutes to show him the noises. He said he would lift the car up to take another look because they just replaced it and it shouldn't be making that noise anymore. I decided to go back with him and also inspect, and when I did, he went to the WRONG WHEEL. I SPECIFIFICALLY told them which wheel the noise was coming from and they somehow replaced the wrong one. So I brought it in the next day to have them fix the correct wheel bearing, on their dime, but then they tell me that in order to fix this bearing, a sensor has to be broken and I would have to pay for that. At this point, I just want to be done with them, so I pay for the damn sensor and get my car done. Fast forward to a couple weeks later, my vehicle is making the original noise again that I first took it in for. Complete waste of my time. I will be taking my car elsewhere from now on.

Awful service took almost 2 hours for an oil change. They backed my car into someone else's car and lied about the amount of damage. Rear right side of bumper is cracked and I need a new tail light. I did not have to pay for my oil change so that's good. As customer service goes they are quite nice just need to hire on more people or not take on so many cars and need to look before they back up. I have $2000 dollars in damages that have to be fixed now. Firestone agreed to pay for those damages and to pay for my rental car. Over all I will not be taking my vehicle back.

The folks at Firestone Grand Forks helped me out after blowing a trailer tire outside of Grand Forks recently while I was transporting my toy hauler home to Canada from my winter residence in Canada. I had made a phone call to 3 tire shops and Firestone had everything I needed in stock and prepared to replace and mount a new tire for me over the Kong much hour. We arrived there and were taken care of promptly and professionally while maintaining a very friendly and courteous vibe through the entire process. I don’t remember everyone’s names there I met in a short time but the one young fellow named Grayson was extremely attentive and professional. I got them to check the other tire and it showed visible crack between the treads that surely would have been another blow out in the near future. They promptly changed it out for me also. Usually I don't mind using #firestone Firestone Tires. I've always had a pleasant experience and got tires at a good price while I was stationed in Biloxi. I even have free alignments for life with them. However, the one here in Grand Forks, ND. Somewhat a different story. Manager has a nice and clean shop. Employees are nice. Tires are decently priced but I wouldn't use them for anything other than tires. I had a oil change from them. Noticed a leak under my car. Upon initial inspection the drain cap for the filter housing was left off. I decided to drain the oil and check the filter. Good thing I did! They installed the filter wrong. It was completely crushed and torn inside the housing. This could have led to much much bigger issues with the motor. Like possible motor failure/seizure. Someone needs a little retaining. I've worked on all sorts of motor vehicles and boats for a little over 15 years. The first thing I learned is if something doesn't fit DON'T FORCE IT! Take it off and check that you're not doing something wrong. Beware!!!

Shady people over at Firestone! Mainly Chris. More accurately a true scumbag! Had new tires put on about three months ago. Soon after the tire sensor lights came on. Brought it back to get it checked out they said the sensors had to be changed. Okay did it. Soon after the sensor light came back on before I could bring it back we hit a curb and scuffed up the front left tire. So we bring it back and tell them, they check it out. They tell us the front left tire has a gouge in it and needs to be replaced . The back right tire has to be replaced because of the sensor issue. Then this A-hole says the other two tires are worn and it would create a problem if we just change the two tires. So we need four. Okay we have a warranty we just got the tires done three months ago. This A-hole says we are not in their system do you have a receipt? As if you are out of luck if we don't. We did. It's a company car so approval is required. This Loser calls to get approval and tells them the sensor light proble is due to hitting a curb. Not true , the light came on before and he even acknowledged to us it was the right rear tire. Also we need a wheel alignment . So we can't believe the BS this weeny bag is dishing out , approval is denied. Take it next door to NTB I believe the name is and they tell us . Doesn't need wheel alignment and the reason the sensor light is on is because the seal between the tire and rim is leaking. It was installed improperly . The other two tires are fine also. What a PRICK Chris is! at Firestone. To think of all the wives and daughters he has taken advantage of . What a piece of S--T! Will be following up with the better business bureau .

The quality of work isn't bad here. It's the time it takes to get the work done. Have went to Firestone multiple times because their prices are reasonable. The last two times I have been there have put me over the edge. Each time I went I had an appointment. The one time it was for an oil change and it took over and hour for them to complete. This last time on 1/21/14 I went in for a oil change, tire rotation and alignment. It took 2 hrs and 40 minutes. I expected it to take 1-1.5 hrs to complete. It was super annoying how long it took. I gave 1 star because a negative amount is not available. I dropped my vehicle off at 11am and told them that my rear passenger tire needed to be plugged. I called them at 4pm and was told that my vehicle will be next. I came by hoping that it was done around 5:15pm and my car wasn't even touched. When I went in, the same guy told me that "it's the next one up" and he was actually surprised when I asked him for my keys back. So my car was there all day and didn't get fixed. A job that literally takes 5 minutes did not get done. I would've done it myself if I wasn't 39 weeks pregnant.

After going to two other Firestones on military installations and getting hosed continually (why did we use them still convenience and the Firestone card) we didn't have a lot of faith going to this shop. However, from the get go all folks that I've dealt with have been great! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They give two shakes about how well your vehicle is doing and don't try to take advantage of you (I'm a woman). We have some good shops in town that I have had to use in a timing pinch but I'd rather drive the 55 miles to go here!

I would not recommend this place to anyone for they try to manipulate and take advantage of those they may deem as innocent, clueless, or inexperienced in car repairs. I had a tire problem that cost me less than $300 later on in another place for more than $1,500 after they pushed me to apply for their credit card and realized I qualified for $2500 credit line. My daughter is a college student in Rapid City, when you send your daughter out into the world, you can only hope she'll encounter good, honest business people, sadly, that wasn’t the case at this Firestone store. She took her vehicle in for a minor brake light repair and when she picked it up, she was handed a $240 estimate for a window repair, here's the problem, the window wasn't broken when she dropped it off. I got a new muffler and exhaust pipe replaced last April in 2018, not only did they WELD the piping together (instead of using clamps like they are suppose to) so I can no longer replace parts if they go bad separately. Now it is only 6/6/19 only 14 months lasted and I already have to replace my exhaust pipe BUT not only my exhaust pipe, I have to replace the muffler AGAIN because they welded everything together without my acknowledgment.

My husband and I have been going to Firestone for awhile now. We feel like we have to return due to purchasing tires there. We are now done using this business. We believe they conduct their business in a dishonest manner. Just today we brought our car in for a tire rotation. Of course they call with other "problems" they found. They recommended an oil change. We agreed since this is our daughter's car and we weren't sure of the last time she had the oil change. Once we looked into it we realized she had changed it recently. My husband went to Firestone and asked them about why they would recommend an oil change when it wasn't needed! They actually said, "we only recommended it, you chose to do it." This isn't the first time we have felt they falsely reported car repairs. Customer service just doesn't exist here. No refund, only arguments.

Tried to up-sale me with getting brakes done. They said I needed EVERYTHING; meaning 4 brake pads, 4 calipers, and 4 rotors. I came in for an oil change and to have them look at the breaks. I know I needed pads and sometimes a rotor like it has been in the past with other places, so I was prepared for that, but not a bill to the tune of over 1,600 dollars. I told them to put everything back and to the oil change. The only reason I went there was Kim Merkt said they can get me a 20% discount. They did, on the oil change. No one was rude, but I didn't like feeling like a target.

They can do the work but bring extra money because they will pad the charges and treat you disrespectfully. For example they tried to charge me 120.00 to replace perfectly good lug nuts. Buyer beware.

They have tires and they know how to put them on properly. Every other year or so I go there to have some tires replaced and I've always been happy with the service.

Had a car towed there as it broke down while my wife was driving it. They charged over $600 for parts and labor and the car quit on my way home and had to be towed. Misdiagnoses of the problem all the way around as confirmed by two other shops. When I picked car up, the rear seat was not re-installed after checking the battery there. I have stopped on two separate occasions to discuss the situation, and I hear "let me talk to my manager and I will call you back"....crickets. Ignoring problems does not make them go away.

Made appointment over the phone arrived at store was told I didn’t call but as I showed him the call log service personnel again again they did not receive a call. I dialed the number as we where there the phone rang. He told me not to bring my truck there on Sundays. And got smart as I. Proved that I did call before coming and replied back whatever
