My husband and I broke down in Asheboro on HWY 49 we are from Stanly County and I knew nothing about the area. Thomas Tire & Automotives treated us like locals. I called and they not only took us in as on a non appointment basis but also provided us with a ride to Enterprise for an rental car to get us home They also called and kept us informed on our vehicle and e-mailed on price to fix. They didn't touch the car unless we were informed and agreed to it. This company is Top at Customer Service. And Brittney the young lady that drove us was Profession at it's best. And they worked on my car in a timely manner.

I made an appointment for an alignment and oil change at 1pm. I ended up getting there at 12:45 and went ahead and checked in. It took them until 3pm to finish my oil change and alignment which is ridiculous. And the whole time nobody told me why it was taking so long or that they were running behind or anything. I also had to be at a funeral of a family member at 3:30 so needless to say i was not happy. On top of waiting 2 hours...a man who came in after me to get an alignment had his alignment taken care of for free because “he had been there so long” but yet i had to pay for mine when i had been waiting way longer than him. This was my first and last time visiting thomas tire in asheboro

Great prices on tires and great service! The wait time was lengthy since I had an appointment. Was scheduled at 9am and my truck was completed at 12:45p had 4 tires mounted and balanced, 4 wheel alignment, and Oil Change. 3 hours and 45 minutes is too long for this to be completed. Other than the long wait time everything was great!

I've been buying tires at this business for approximately 20 years. It took 3 hours and 37 minutes to have 4 new tires put on vehicle along with inspection. I received $5.00 off each tire for my wait time. There were more employees standing around talking then working. If I had not said something about my wait time, it would have taken longer. I even left for 2 hours and came back to pick up the vehicle. I guess it's time to find another place to buy tires.

Had car serviced and left then my tire pressure light came on so I had to go back before they closed at 12:00. Also had both filters changed that morning and my AC fan/motor started making a loud noise and vibrating so I ended up at the Honda service Dept to get the problem fixed at no charge but another hour wait. Not the first time I’ve had to go back for tire pressure light. On a good note there was a nice employee who reset my light and showed me how to do it in case it was forgotten again.

I was traveling from Mt Airy, NC to Wilmington, NC pulling a trailer down I-73 when my trailer had a tire blow out. Damaged my wheel well. Went to put the spare tire on, it was flat ad well! So I limped the truck and trailer to the next exit hoping to find help. Stopped at the first service station and spotted Thomas Tire and Automotive! What luck! But then I noticed the time... 5:25! I walked in and explained my dilemma and without hesitation, the lady behind the service desk jumped into action... 5 minutes to closing! She found some techs, located some tires, and got me on the road again within 30 minutes... and even fixed my wheel well! They stayed after hours to help me, what great customer service! I really appreciate the extra mile they went for a traveler in distress. I would recommend Thomas Tire and Automotive for all your tire and automotive needs. Thank you to all that helped me that day. Had a critical deadline and was able to still be there in time. Can't say enough about these staff members.

Driving north towards Virginia, hit something in the road and all of a sudden the pressure alert went off. Called a friend that lives in area and he recommended Thomas Tire and sent me contact info. Calling, found out they were open until 12 and it was 10:30. i will have to say, the ladies at the front desk was awesome!! They took care of everything, lined up the guys to fix the tire, and we had time to get a lunch across the road at the small diner. Thomas Tire is definitely one of the best operations around!!! dan

I recently took my 1989 Nissan truck to have the Alignment and front tie rods looked at, week later after never hearing back from anyone I called and they said it would be $750 for what I needed done. (More then I paid for the truck) little crazy I thought.

This was my first visit so I wasn't sure what to expect. Friendly and honest! Didn't try to sell or recommend unneeded service. I went for an oil change and brake service and was going to set an appointment for new tires. They let me know my tires were still in pretty good shape and I could hold off on changing them. They also offer shuttle service. I will be returning for all of my future car maintenance.

Called for a price on a set of tires. Wife was told they would be there and to make an appointment. Made an appointment and when she arrived staff told her they did not have to tires she wanted and they would put something on the vehicle “just as good”. My wife asked why the tire she wanted was not there and they told her that if she did not like what they put on as long as she came back within 30 days they would get the right tires for her. Does not make any sense. Now we have to spend another two hours or so and take time off of work. Not very considerate when all it took was a call to tell us the tires did not come in and to reschedule for another time.

Had a flat on two boat trailers while heading up to Badin Lake for our 31st annual Grandfather, father and grandkids campout. Put on the spares but now needed to replace the spares. Thomas tire was the only place we could find the right size tires. We stopped and within 10 minutes they had new tires on both rims. Fast and friendly. Friendly Staff and Clean Business. I was driving through on Thanksgiving when my tire started losing air. I stopped to put air in it but noticed as soon as I started to drive it was losing air again. I stopped here, it was busy but after about an hour my tire was plugged patched and ready to go. It was affordable and I was back on the road.

When I was getting my oil and oil filter change 2 customer got in a Argument and one was ask to go out side then the other customer was running off his mouth in a mean way about the other customer and the employee was making fun of the one customer and it made me up set because you could tell that customer had some type of disability and even thou I thought the the other customer could have handle it better to the disability customer but it was wrong of the employee to make fun of the disability customer , I didn’t get in the middle of it because I didn’t want to start trouble I was trying to keep peace so I think Thomas tire needs to teach employees to keep they feeling to them self and handle it in a way to where it doesn’t make him disrespectful to customers and make him look like he was makeing fun of Disability people , because I am disabled and we all make money for Thomas tires and need to be treated the same as a normal person.

Today my mom called and said that she was halfway of her three hour drive to visit me and that her tire light had come on. I did a google search and found Thomas Tire as a recommended place close to where she was. They were very kind, quick to analyze the problem, and offered her several options of repair. She made a selection and they had her back on the road to me within about 20 minutes. She felt respected and that they had not tried to take advantage of an older lady traveling alone. I"d recommend them to folks needing a quick tire check!

They placed a mat on the floor board as well as plastic on the seat which is more than most businesses. 30 minutes after sitting in the nice comfortable waiting area, my car was done, I paid and was on my way. If you want it done right the first time, don't take your car anywhere else. As long as I've done business with them, repairs are precise. I recently tried to save money on extensive brake work, elsewhere in Asheboro, and basically handed the mechanic 200 dollars to do more damage. I heard that familiar voice saying,"You should have gone to Thomas Tire". The next morning, I was at Thomas Tire. Early that afternoon, I left with brakes functioning perfectly.

In the last 2 years or so, I have put full sets of tires on three trucks, our car and our horse trailer and I am about to buy four more tires for another truck of mine. When a set of tires on one truck was giving me trouble with broken belts in two different tires, they made me a great deal to exchange the set I was having problems with for a brand new set so I wouldn't the inconvenienced again. I have priced around in the past but now I just come straight here because he's guys always have the best prices in addition to great service.

I was on a road trip from NY to NC with my 3 horse trailer equipped with a 9’ living quarters. I called the closest place to me and asked if they could change the tire with the trailer connected and horses in it. They were able to!! I had stopped in because I thought that I had popped my tire on the way to the zoo. They quickly informed me that it was a bent rim instead of the popped tire. They offered to try to hammer it out to try to save me money. After a little while they had informed me that they couldn’t fix the rim and that I would need a new one. They gave me a good price on one. All of a sudden a guy comes up to my girlfriend and I and asked if we were ready to finish our trip to the zoo. We had no idea that they even had heard us discuss going to the zoo. They told us we could get whatever we needed from the car to take to the zoo. I had thought that our date to the zoo was ruined because of the rim but they came through and took us too and picked us up from the zoo. The guy that brought us back (gm from the neighboring store) even gave us great recommendation for a place to eat. They were very timely and such wonderful service. What I thought was going to turn out to a ruined date is turned into one that I am sure we won’t ever forget.

I went to get inspected and it fail, I pay them $23 for that fail inspección. I had fixed the car because one code. Then they said it didn’t pass because one turn light didn’t work, but it was working went I checked later. They want to charge me 40 to fix something that it is ok. I went to other shop and pass without problem. I have to said that this was May favorite place to get fix my car that I can’t fix by myself. I will no make more business with tomas tire no more.

Really disappointing visit to Thomas Tire 64 recently. Not for sure why the change of personnel but the shop definitely took a step backwards. First of all what happened to covering up the seat and placing a paper mat in the floorboard??? Also, I don't feel the vehicle was properly aligned because it was only in the back around 30 minutes and no explanation on how it turned out or not even a print out of the finished product. Only thing they wanted to make sure is that they got the money. Again, not for sure why the change of personnel but definitely was a wrong move because I will look for another place to take my business

I have always been pleased with the customer service and auto technician service received at Thomas Tire. I witnessed an example of their excellent service this past Saturday when a couple with a young child came in. They were from out of state and having car trouble. When I came back by Thomas Tire at around 2:45 pm, I noticed the Mother and child sitting outside, and pulled in to check on them. She told me they were still working on their vehicle. The shop officially closed at noon, but the technician(s) stayed to keep working on their vehicle and help this family have transportation again. Thomas Tire and their employees are an example of Good Samaritan’s in my book!

Haven’t needed to go to Thomas Tire in several years. Had to update my info in computer. I just need tires rotated on my pickup and also garden trailer tires mounted onto wheels. They did an inspection on my vehicle and advised me of lights that were out and also the future need of brake shoes. Upon arriving home I got a text message with information on what they found during inspection, along with several photos. Will go back there in the future.

Wife took our Mini Cooper to Thomas Tire for an Oil Change.Tech told her that both low beam headlights were out on the vehicle. Thomas Tire Tech said headlight bulbs for the Mini Cooper were very expensive. They gave an estimate of $280.00 to replace both headlight bulbs. $179.00 for the bulbs and $100.00 for Labor. I declined the repair.. I can buy the bulbs on Amazon for $69.00 a pair. They are bayonet type bulbs, twist out the old, twist in the new. Putting them in takes 10 minutes. When she got home I checked the headlights, they both worked fine, neither was out.... Will find a new shop to do business with.

Went in for inspection and oil change. Took too long and I was told it failed inspections due to my tires out of balance. My vehicle had the oil changed and tires rotated in January 2019. I WAS NOT advised my tires were being worn and needed to be balanced !! I mentioned this to man that checks me out. His reply, “I wasn’t here then!” He tried to sell me new tires and I said no I would get them somewhere else. I only got 30 thousand miles on this set I previously bought from Thomas Tire. He said The problem wasn’t the tires it was that the tires were not balanced. I told him I should’ve been told in January 2019 if the tires were being worn when they did an change. He had no explanation for that except he was not working then. I’m done with Thomas Tire.

Taking a trip in the RV today we had the misfortune of a tire blow out on the highway. We called roadside assistance and Thomas Tire Commercial answered the call. They came out quickly and installed the spare tire on the RV in no time. Because my tires were a bit old, I asked if they could replace all my tires.
