Quoted one price over the phone for new tires. Drove out there, was given a price that was double what was said over the phone. Had a friend to call out there for the exact for the same tires and they were given a completely different price. On the principal of not them being truthful, these guys will not be getting my business.

Nothing messes up a vacation more than traveling down the highway and having your car scream about a tire going flat. Well, the car merely alarmed, I screamed words that I won't print here. As luck would have it, a quick Google search said Shorty's was within a couple of miles. We pulled into the parking lot with a few pounds of air left, but saw several other cars ahead of me. Yet, the manager said it was no problem to remove the nail and patch the tire. In less than an hour, my car was road-worthy. The manager charged only $20 cash. In fact, I think this is a cash-only business, but no matter. If you watch the workers there, you get to see how a good business operates efficient and effectively. In fact, don't be put off by the appearance of the garage. Shorty's puts businesses that have a spic-and-span appearance to shame. It was a stroke of good fortunate that I found this place. I can't say enough of how impressed I am by Shorty's Tire Center. I had to knock this review down from a 5-star to a 4-star when I discovered they replaced my tire specific air valve cap with a generic cap.

Never had a bad experience. If you are looking for set prices that never change then shopping for used tires at a busy shop might not be your thing. If you want to save some money and have some trustworthy folks work on your car, they won't do you wrong.

This morning they unnecessarily broke a locking lug nut rather than plug the leak caused by a visible sheet metal screw in the center of the tread and sold me a tire with a hole in the sidewall that didn't make it 20 miles before becoming flat. All that for $50. Extremely unhappy and never again.
