They allowed us to wait in the back with our three month old daughter, so she wouldn't get cold from setting near the door. I recently had two tires installed in Raleigh and the tire technician broke one of my wheel studs. He then proceeded to attempt to charge me $60 to replace that wheel stud. I told the gentleman kindly no thanks I will fix it myself. I purchased the wheel stud from auto zone for $5.02. I performed the removal and installation process in about 30 min. I then lubed all of my caliper brake pins, I say all this to say I will never ever have anyone else install tires perform wheel alignments on any of my automobiles besides Murray's Tire & Auto, Inc....THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO HAVE ANYTHING DONE ON YOUR AUTOMOBILE PERIOD. I WILL NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE EVER AGAIN UNLESS I DO IT MYSELF!!!!!!!!! They performed a 4 wheel alignment for my automobile this past Thursday, I was completely blown away with how quickly they got to work on my automobile and upon exiting they gave me and my daughter complimentary bottles of water to go!!!!!!!

Murray's has the best service of any tire shop I have been to! Came in with a messed up tire after hitting a large pot hole. Was told I needed to get the rim fixed first (they suggested AutoRecon, which did an amazing job!). Came back with the fixed rim and the mechanic recognized us and came up to help before we even got to the door of the shop! Told me my tire was fine even after I urged for a replacement anyways and tested and put counter weights to make sure it was all set. I am so impressed by the initiative of these employees and their willingness to help. They could have easily pushed a sale and gotten money out of me, but I am very thankful and humbled that they did not. Will definitely come back for all needs and recommend to others! Believe the hype about this place. This is an absolutely outstanding place to get tires and service to your vehicle! Great prices, excellent service and a warm and inviting atmosphere! I came in hot from changing a flat tire in 90 degree temperatures and the first thing offered to me after a warm hello was a cold bottle of water. The tech replaced my tire and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I walked out the door impressed with the service I received and the money I saved.

I took my vehicle to get a check up the next day and they told me I had 3 dry rotted tires the day after purchasing 4 used tires. I want my money back. AVOID GETTING TIRES INSTALLED HERE! Got a quote over the phone to change some tires on my mother's car. Sent her there to get it done only to find out they charged her 43% over what they told me on the phone! It's unfortunate that they'll take advantage of someone who doesn't know any better. I can no longer recommend anyone go to Murray's. Edit: The response from the Gary is a blatant lie. I called and got a quote for removing old tires and installing new ones, not some obscure procedure. I made sure to specifically ask if it covered everything knowing some places won't include small things like tire disposal fees and they confirmed the price. After taking the old tires off, they "recommended" new valve stems for $20 claiming they were giving her a discount because they normally charge $30! These should be replaced every time and should have been included in the original quote, besides the fact that price is outrageous. THIS IS SLEAZY SHOP UPSALE 101. Low estimate and then the extra purchase when it's too late to take it somewhere else. They can't even line up the low spot of the tire(yellow spot) with their overpriced valve stems and left her brand new tires looking like a bird crapped all over them. I suspect the lug bolts are over-tightened and the tires have incorrect pressures, but I haven't had time to check yet. Take your car somewhere with upfront pricing and techs who know what they are doing! This place is the worst of both worlds in terms of price and service.

We had to stop here for an urgent issue on a roadtrip. They were able to assist us almost instantly while working with a full shop. The staff is unbelievable friendly, from the front desk to the mechanics. Everyone we came into contact with thanked us for choosing them. Murray's has been the only place I will go for tires for the last 4-5 years. They're always very helpful with excellent service, and they do what they can to help you find affordable options without compromising quality. Most recently, I came in to change two of my tires and get an alignment. I ended up needing to go back two more times within the span of 48 hours to rotate and re-balance the tires as I had shaking issues when driving on the interstate, but I was incredibly grateful that they were willing to resolve the issues quickly and with no additional cost both times. They even called after my last visit to ensure that everything was still working correctly. Always a good experience!

The first vehicle I had serviced at Murrays was a Kia Optima back around 2011. I just took my Toyota Sienna in thinking I needed an alignment and after explaining the symptoms and Tom taking it for a test drive, they recommended I have all 4 tires balanced instead which was also 30 bucks cheaper! Murrays was very helpful to my friends and I, and the price for two regular stock tires out the door was competitive to say the least. They inspected the vehicle, showed genuine concern for safety issues but didn't push us or try to upsale us. I only left google review once before. This is the 2nd time I leave a review and it is because of how excellent the service I received was. At Murray’s, the staff is very nice and friendly. They welcomed us with free water bottles. As far as the service goes, they were courteous, fast, and the cost was very affordable. I asked for alignment, balance and rotation. They told me the alignment was good and did not charge me for it. They did a great job with the wheel balance. I have dealt with dizzilion auto service places before, and I can tell that this kind of honesty and good work is hard to find. Don’t think I will be doing any tire, suspension, or brake services any where else.

Fully believing I needed new tires, I contacted Murray’s via email and received multiple quotes online that were some of the most competitive prices in Raleigh. I was able to order and set up an appointment for the next day. On my arrival, after inspecting my tires, I was told that I still had plenty of life in them, but one tire needed a patch (why I thought I needed new tires). They quickly rotated my tires, patched my tire and saved me several hundred dollars in the process. Believe the many great reviews: the wonderful staff at Murray’s are honest and fair! Great place. Took in vehicle for a wheel alignment. Didn’t expect to get it done the same day but was told to bring vehicle back in two hours and they would get right on it. Everyone at this business was very professional and polite. Brought vehicle back in two hours and one of the mechanics took the vehicle in one of the bays after a short drive. The mechanic showed me the settings on the computer where the vehicle was and the recommended settings. He explained exactly what he was looking for. Great mechanic. Will return when needed. This can be a good place to get tires and other related stuff done, especially if on a budget. However, I would always stay on top of everything when dealing with the place and pay close attention to what they do. Been coming here for years. Once an employee working on my truck damaged something that wasn't noticed until the next time it was brought in. Initially they said I needed to take it back to who last worked on it. Initially I say because once I made them aware they they touched the damaged part last, as would be on their own records, the b.s. then started to fly. It actually got a little ridiculous and one of their employees made the place look real bad. But in the end the owner got on top of it and made sure everything was taken care of. They replaced the part that had been damaged from improper assembly. I would say I was satisfied with the outcome. Then upon my very next visit to have my tires refilled with nitrogen another employee decided to misplace one of my special valve stem caps that I had. I didn't notice until after the fact since I didn't think I would need to worry about the tire place losing my caps that are especially designed so that technicians will see I use the nitrogen. By the way, they are one of the few places around that offer nitrogen for your tires, which is a good idea if you use any larger size tires. So like I said just keep an eye on what they're doing. And unfortunately it can be hard to get stuff done over the phone with them as opposed to being there. My last visit I called three different times and spoke with two separate employees, over a few days, to try and get some tires ordered so I would not have to wait there while they get the tires from elsewhere. I had zero success over the phone but upon arriving in person the tires were ordered and on the way within a few minutes. Go figure. I know this was lengthy but it will give you a good idea about what to expect and what to look out for.

The service of both your vehicle and you as you wait for it will be personal and top-notch and if it happens you do have a problem, Gary will take care of it. Beware, my 19 yr old daughter college student went in with a flat tire. The tires had a warranty and they tried charging her full price and not honoring the warranty. I had to call another tire company and they contacted the wholesaler of the tires and the other company was able to get the tires covered. Murray’s tire is not trustworthy.

Another excellent service from Murray. By the time I had pulled up (8:30) they were out there to pull in my car for a brake service. The mechanic, Chris, explained what needed to be done and what he would be doing. Had it fixed within a little over one hour for 175 dollars. Customer service from the inside employees is also excellent. They always offer bottled water.

Took my 67 Camaro (orange one on left) in yesterday without calling ahead. I haven’t had it aligned in probably a decade. I was immediately greeted (which is never a surprise in that car). I asked price for alignment and told $69, unless I find issues and need to replace anything, and also told they could get to it in 20-30 minutes. Sure enough they take it into a stall 20 minutes later. Bring a nice day I sat on their very nice covered outside waiting area. I watched as the same guy who quoted me worked in the car for a solid 45 minutes. Then saw him start walking over with it still up on the rack. I expected the worst. He mentioned a couple issues he had, which would run me another $30. I’ve never heard of any car issue only costing an extra $30! I agreed and he went back to work, spending a total 1.5 hours actively working on my car. During this time I watched as every other customer was treated wonderfully, and all immediately greeted. Estimates were given with options and indicating what was really needed, highly suggested, and simply optional. No high sales pressure at all. I even saw them tell a customer they’d be glad to do it if he wanted, but he didn’t need a brake flush. When the work was done my bill was exactly as they said. No extra shop fees and random bills often added on at other places. Just great work at a up front price. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back.
