I really like the guys of TM&T. They're definitely the neighborhood auto shop with a casual vibe and a personal touch. I needed a last minute annual inspection and my regular guy denied it because he said he only do inspections till 1 and i got there at 12:50. So this place was a couple blocks away from them. I went there and they took care of my car and finished the inspection in 25 minutes, they even found a months long mystery of my driver side front tire getting hot out of no where, and gave me the option to fix it. Will definately recommend this place. Professional and caring staff!.

First time customer. Just walked in. It seems like they know what they're doing. Fairly fast and affordable. Open Saturday till 2 pm and on most major holidays, which is why I went there. Update: Been there 3 times so far for front end parts replacement, rear shock absorbers and then tires and brakes. I'm always bringing them the parts since it's a fairly new BMW and I only use OEM parts. Mechanics didn't have any problems with any of the jobs. They charge affordable if not cheap for the labor. I'd recommend calling them to make an appointment for jobs bigger then oil change and tires since they're quite busy.

Big shop on northern Blvd a block before Steinway street. The service was fast and done right wil be going back again and if your having car troubles or looking for a good mechanic check this place out.

Brilliant guys. Came in for inspection last minute, they got my car in within 30 minutes. Found an issue but were straight with me about it, and managed to squeeze in the work that afternoon. Can’t fault these guys, they know their stuff, friendly, and clearly interested in getting you out the lot with only the work that needs doing rather than keeping you around for unnecessary work.

Great service, good prices. It's a three-generation family business, since 1962. A dealership recommended them over their own shop to help us save money on replacing the radiator. They also put on a new tire for us and did the inspection. I don't know much about car repairs, but they seem very trustworthy and honest.

One of the most honest and friendly auto repair shops I have ever been to. Most of the time when something goes wrong with your car you have some fear of going to an unknown mechanic due to the probability of them ripping you off and talking you into some outrageous bill but NOT TM&T. I went in there for the first time and they treated me like I've been a customer to their shop for years. They were extremely friendly, patient and answered all of my questions. I checked out this tire shop to buy one used tire and was informed they didn't sell used tires. I have a 10 year old car and didn't want to pay big bucks for a new tire. The gentlemen behind the counter checked out my car and agreed I shouldn't pay a lot for a quality tire, loll. I didn't care I had just purchased new tires a few months ago but one stinking nail completely damaged one tire. I bought a tire for about $65 which was the cheapest I found after going to several tire shops. There were a few people waiting for their cars to be worked on so I just knew I would be waiting forever. I was in and out the shop within one hour, thank God. The work looked great and the staff were friendly and professional. This is a tire shop I will keep bookmarked and will use again if needed.

The worst customer service ever, the staff is rude, specially the owner. I went to alignment and I was next on line waiting for the machine. Then they pulled up two cars in front of me saying customers male have the preference. Not only that they said, I have to leave if I want to. In the end the owner charge me $25 more saying they had to use extra equipment. These guys are not professional at all. Worst tire service in NYC.

If you were stuck between this flat fix that 2 blocks away or one thats 5 miles away. Roll the extra 5 miles!!! This place is overly priced. Charged me $100 for some garbage tire brand that normally cost $35-40 brand new . That was the cheapest tire that for me. Waste of Money. Not to mention who ever picks up the phone is very rude and disrespectful.

Surprised I didn't leave a review after all these years. When it comes to getting new tires, this place is the best bang for the buck when you calculate all the hidden fees from everyone such as disposal fee, stems, balance tires, taxes, etc. I've been a customer for these guys for 5 years and recommended many others to here. Service is fast and professional! Highly recommend them! Amendment April 16 2016. I didn't know this place does more than just tires. It's a full service shop. They did my front windshield glass, wheel alignment (done correctly that other mechanics botched), sanded down the rust & repainted (excellent paint job!!), and the most important part... they fixed that nagging P452 code that 3 other mechanics couldn't fix. Thank you Andre! You guys are truly amazing!

i had driven down to Queens from Peabody, MA because my son had been rushed to Elmhurst Hospital on the worst travel day of the year. On the seven hour drive all sorts of new bad noises developed in my 2008 Mazda 6 hatchback. I drove hotel to hospital and back for days dealing a terrible situation. My son died and his organs were donated. Last thing I would need is to be taken advantage of being out of towners. I needed the car repaired before the long trip home. I looked up local shops and decided on TM & T Tire. Tommy did the work and did only what I needed, belts for slipping and squeaking and bolt tightening to fix loud exhaust. Other shops could have tried to sell me a new exhaust system. I highly recommend TM & T and appreciate the honesty and competence of Tommy. (No one at the shop knew my situation. They were good to me, anyway.)

TM&T is been our shop for a few years, I own 2 Subaru sedans, always the best reliable shop for all mechanical needs. Recently my 2013 legacy was hit by a trailer truck, I took it to the shop and the service and follow up every other days was great, they worked with the insurance very well and the car came like new. I had a bent rim and flat tire that needed to be fixed. I went to other repair shops and could not get a straight answer from any of them. Some claimed they couldn't fix it, some would only fix it if I bought a non-matching tire, some said I needed a new rim, and some were just unhelpful. My experience at TM & tire was the exact opposite. I got helped right away, they answered my many questions without condescension, and they fixed my problem quickly and for a good price. Fantastic experience!
