This is the best place for tires. Best prices in Brooklyn and A1 service. Not sure what these other people are talking about but the owner Lou is very honest and does not yell. He won't let you replace something that isn't broken. He's one of the most honest people in the area that won't take you for a ride on your car just because you don't know anything about cars. You won't find better prices anywhere else!

Been going here for years! Hilna recently did a fantastic job replacing all 4 of my tires for a fair price. Would absolutely recommend making this your tire place. No gimmicks or games. Just a straight forward service and smile type of place. Save your energy of being aggravated with the other places and just go to Hilna. I would give 0 stars if possible. They're a certified Continental dealer, so they are obligated to honor my continental warranty. At first they were shady and said there's a chance they do not want to honor my warranty because I did not buy my tire at their store. Then when I told them I spoke to continental rep and said they had to, they wanted to charge me 50 dollars to change out one tire. ONE tire.

The staff was polite. The Spanish staff explained the condition of my tire and gave me options. He replaced my tire quickly but before he began the work he showed me that I had a missing lug cap. I would recommend anyone to that shop.

I was running around one Saturday morning trying to get a bunch of annoying errands done. At a traffic light another driver told me I should check my tire and that it looked very low. I had not even noticed. I was on Stillwell so I looked at nearby tire shops. Glad I chose Hilna. They were able to repair the flat for a really small fee and I was on my way only minutes after leaving. Thanks Craig!

Today I went there to change my brake pads .I left my car there for one hour when I came back to pick up my car ,I noticed that my driver side door handle doesn't work properly looks like it is broken then I started looking and I noticed a little dent right below it .Very Unprofessional. I’ll never go back there again .

I got great experience at the first time when I got a flat tire. The owner and some staffs are helpful. But I will not going back to the shop anymore. I had my tire check and the stupid staff inflated the tire over 70 psi!!!! I found it when I was home and release the air to 35 psi.

These guys have been working on my car since before I owned it. They always get me in and out quick, with professional service. They are always fair and reasonable. I've noticed when faced with minor fixes and adjustments they are 100% honest and don't look to replace parts for no reason or do hours of labor. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I have been coming here for years. It is an old fashioned tired shop, the kind that have almost all disappeared. The place has character and I actually love waiting for my work to get done. They have an incredible selection of tires and the prices are great. I have also had brakes and inspections done here as well, all of which I have been satisfied with the work and the cost.

I'm currently driving a pile of junk so I spend a lot of time at Hilna. Louie is probably the only honest mechanic you will ever meet. He (and his guys) can usually diagnose the problem in a few minutes. He always gives me the best price he can. He's a little abrasive but he means well. His coarseness is balanced out by his smooth talking receptionist, John. At some other place I would be throwing tons of money into my vehicle but going to Hilna keeps me on the road without going over the spending limit I set for car repairs yearly.

The first time i went there i pulled up in their lot to inquire about getting some work done. when the owner came out of the office he said to move my car but he was very nasty about it, but because he was the only place open i had no choice but to get the work done there. Aftet i got the work done i jumped on the highway and my car began shaking cuz they forgot to balance 2 of my tires. Now i had to return and get that fixed, the owner was once again very rude. I guess that's why the workers their look so miserable. The second time i went was because KEM AUTO was closed and i had to buy 2 tires. I have never come across a business where the majority of the staff have attitude problems. But i guess working for someone like that would make anyone miserable. And the only reason they got that star was because i had to give them one in order to leave a review

I took my car to get an oil change today ,terrible I did big mistake they put wrong oil in my car I asked the oil change man This is not for this car ...... this is brand new car he just ignores me he didn't even check dipstick he put enough oil or not they don't know what they are doing to be honest with you I have to go somewhere else to get an oil change again otherwise my car gonna be break down neve ever go back again

Excellent service! The owner, Luise, works with everyone on the floor. Excellent experience. I needed 4 new tires, balancing and alignment. All got within hour and a half. Most importantly huge selection of tires all on house!! Otherwise i would have to wait a day or 2 from tire rack for this to come in. Overall super pleasant experience. You get a discount on alignment if you buy tires from them and balancing is also worked in rather than just buying tires online.

Got a wheel alignment done on my van at this shop before going on a long out of state trip, got on the road and realized they screwed up with the alignment job and had to stop and look for shop in MA that can do this type of work and do it all over again. Tried to talk to Hilna Tires afterwards but they just don't care. Have bought dozens of tires at this place before for my trucks (cheap prices, questionable quality) but it's time to look for another shop.

After my last oil change on June 10th 2019, the car alarm Didn't work. I had thought that maybe one of the doors wasn't closed properly. I felt a little funny about cranking over it. In the past I received good service@ Hilna. I had some repairs done in February 2019 out of state. Last week ,Louis (at Hilna) suggested that maybe I needed a new gasket. After the" new gasket" my car started to have MAJOR PROBLEMS!!!!! The car isn't operable! I was charged a lot of money to break up my car!!! I should at least receive a refund! Not to mention that Hilna claimed that the alarm system was broken before I brought it in! I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ALARM SYSTEM BEFORE!!!!! SIX months ago I highly recommended this place!!!! Pleasant low key staff! Reasonable prices! No special discount prices but reasonable and fair. They are said to have many original equipment tires in stock, and can special order whatever isn't in stock. There's a great selection of winter snow tires. They offer you a chance to leave the vehicle or wait for it.

We had a very harrowing experience when the caliper came off and chewed through the rim of our tire on the Verrazono Bridge. We towed it to Hilna and they took good care of us. Got us a good used rim and fixed the caliper and checked out the others too. All this for 250 bucks. See Louie, he's a good man and this is a good place to get your car fixed. No Problem.
