I went there to change my car tires but my car was lifted the wrong way and it damaged the driver’s side’s defender. The owner of the shop said it was like that when I brought and it wasn’t his fault. The damage is obvious that it was a damage caused by lifting the car improperly. And of course, he didn’t even offer to check the cameras to investigate how it happened. The way he denied was just disgusting and dishonest. The last thing anyone neends in a mechanic is dishonesty. He could’ve taken resposibility of his mistake and offered to fix it. It’d only cost a couple of hundereds probably but Instead he chose to disrespect his business and his customers. And I have a picture of the damage where it shows the damage and anyone can tell it’s a damage could’ve never been made by anything but an improper lift...

Do not come to this store if you have a GoodYear coupon. I wish I went to a corporate GoodYear. If you can, go to the Rockaway Turnpike store in Lawrence, NY. They would not give me the tire rotation included in my coupon and charged me extra for my cartridge. The owner is pretty argumentative. They didn't even check my tire pressure. I've never left an oil change place so unhappy. My PSI is completely off. Since I've owned the car, this is my first time being charged these fees. I will not be returning.

I walked in to request auto care services. The old gentleman at the front desk had very poor customer service experience. He did not care to let me explain or listen to my car issue. Instead, he mocked and laughed at me. It was a big waste of time. It might be for you too. Beware.

Either employees are way too slow or their equipment just doesnt work. Took a guy close to 30 min to take pictures of a single car for insurance. Don't go here if you want things done quickly!!!

this is in response to the review made by Mykhailo Tkach. we at KEM AUTO CENTER performed a rotate tire service at the charge $19.95 which is a normal rate to be charged! what is really this customers review complaint? (people usually pay services rendered and tip is up to customer discretion) a rotation of tires is not a job that is paid by tips! in response to Ray L...what additional charges were issued? could it be that there were other problems with your vehicle that you werent aware of? please be more specific in response to DIANE she called us over the phone wanting to know if we would honor the goodyear coupon ad for oil change so i said to her please read off what it shows due to the fact that if the car has a cartridge OIL filter its extra because the part is more expensive and harder to install and not at any time did she mention did it show tire rotation and this coupon was read through goodyear on her android phone device. we treated her with respect and performed the services she asked for and almost close to cloing time she tried to show me other goodyear coupons which had tire rotation among it but it was also for $5 additional which customer did not want to pay! we feel that we did nothing wrong except give her what she wanted and good service! what business she has with corporate stores i did not call them to verify but it really doesnt matter. As far as her tpms system she never mentioned to us that she wanted us to check it outand she came at a time where the shop wouldve been closing at the time that we finsihed the service.

The owner is Moe. He has been there for over 30 years. He had the parts that I needed. Was very courteous and polite. But here's the the kicker. I was in and out of there in record time. I thought my whole day was going to be shot but it wasn't. Truly awesome. Moe took more time doing the paperwork, than his mechanics fixing my van. I moved to New York in 2016, and was a little skeptical about having anyone look at my car but I found this place and the people here are really nice very, explain things in detail give you options, but if you are willing to wait you can get stuff done that same day you just need to give them at least 3 to 4 hours depending on how big the job is sometimes it might take 6 if it's something that they need to order a part for but will try to get that same day. They're really willing to work with you and try to help you out as best as they can. I'm thankful and fortunate I found this group of people to help me out with my car, which I definitely have come in more than three times they do take Goodyear cards which I sometimes use. It is about a 40-minute drive fot me to come here and there's many shops in between, but for me it's worth the drive, ask for Moe he'll help you out, and while you're waiting you can always watch TV on one of their couches.

Do not pay any attention to the bogus negative reviews posted here. They are written by the other similar businesses in the area that can not compete with the level of service and professionalism provided by KEM. I am from the neighborhood and after having my car serviced by other auto shops in the area I feel I found an honest business man in Mo. I will only trust my older car in his hands. I had my car serviced a few weeks ago and it is running better now than it ever has. I now consider Mo a trusted friend.

I went to kem auto center because of a noise in the front of the car i couldn't take the sound any longer. They put my car on the lift and found that the suspension bushings were shot. they replaced my control arm,sway bar bushings well below the estimated cost. The owner Moe and his son kieth took care of me as well as the mechanics. The service and work was great and would recommend this repair shop to everybody i know Thanks again.

I have been using Kem/Goodyear Autocenter for many years. As a born and raised Brooklynlite I have many choices when it comes to having my car fixed. I choose to continue to use Kem/Goodyear because every single repair I've done with them has never needed to be fixed a second time. To me that is the sign of a shop that knows what they're doing. The owner Moe has always given me an excellent price and when I've compared their prices with friends who have had similar work done at other repair centers, I know I'm getting a great value for my dollar. What stands out most to me is the many times I've gone in for something that ended up being minor, such as having a blown fuse or when I heard a funny noise coming from under my car which ended up being a loose mudflap rubbing on the wheel. These times Moe took care of me and said "no charge" because it was something so minor. With so many places trying to get every dollar out of every customer, it's a breath of fresh air to be taken care of and told "no charge". It makes me appreciate the fact that they appreciate me as a customer and are looking to develop an ongoing relationship with me and not trying to get every dollar out of my wallet. Lastly I have to say that the mechanics working for them have been friendly and have answered all my questions without making me feel awkward or intimidated. It's nice to feel that it's ok to ask anything I want because in my past experiences with other shops I've felt like I was spoken down to and that's not the way to treat any customer in any business. So if you're looking for a repair shop in Brooklyn give Kem/Goodyear a try and I think you'll be like me and be very happy with the service you receive, the value you get for your dollar and the end result when your car is returned to you.

I've been Costemer from time to time. and one time I just ask to switch two wheels . cos the front one make noise it's like 5min job. ask me for 20$ for just take it out and put it back! If you want to keep clients you have to do favors sine times. I think it's job for tip. and they were not busy . never come beck!!!'

K.E.M. Auto Center is working with Allstate Motor Club. Flat bed tow truck arrived in about 10 minutes instead of promised 45 minutes! Driver Travis was professional, polite, nice person. He's towed my car to my mechanic's shop, where it was fixed.

I needed Safety Inspection on Saturday. This place was the only one working on weekends (which is kinda weird because as a customer I have no time other weekends). I had my inspection in 10 mins, no lines, no waiting. Highly recommend.

Went to KEM for brakes, tire rotation, and a couple of other minor things. After having talked to a few places, I'd gotten some pretty steep quotes, and couple of non-specific ballpark figures, and one place who was supposed to call me back and never did. KEM gave me a good price on the spot and provided friendly, courteous service from beginning to end, and got the job done quickly. Glad I looked them up, will return for future needs and recommend the same for you.

Worst customer service ever! The old man in there has the worst attitude. It took 2 full grown dudes to put on 1 tire? And it wasn't even done properly, it took them over 30 minutes to change 1 tire, and i was buying 4 new tires. At the pace they were going it would've taken them over 2 hours to change all 4 tires smh! and they were still struggling! Freaking pathetic. You'd think you would get respect and treated fairly but that old man in there was miserable. Don't ever go in there

We have 2 old cars so therefore we have unfortunately dealt a lot with tow trucks. Its usually a horrible experience. But dealing with Kem Auto Center was TOTALLY different. They were prompt, cortiuos and very pleasant to deal with. Everyone should use them and only them!!!!!!

Keep away from this guys, special old guy, he will F you up. I went there to change a oil to my cars engine, I brought own oil and filter, asked him price and he told me $20. Usually it costs $15-$20 dollars so his price was ok. Hi told me to come over in 20 minutes so I went to wash my car across the street in BP station. Came back after 20 minutes and they charged oil weary quickly. When time came to pay hi tells me $40 dollars... I said him he gave me $20 why’s $40 now. Hi started bullsheeting and I had no time and wish to argue with him so I paid and left...

Main manager is irritated very easily. Has a bad temper. He should not be giving that bad attitude when simply asked for a quote. If he asks me more questions to give me a more specific price range, just ask questions, car owners won't hide anything.

"DONT GO THEIR" Took my car to them for a tire change. Costumer service is horrible, When they drove my car in almost crashed it. AND EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS. WONT EVER GO THEIR AGAIN AND DONT RECOMEND ANY ONE ELSE TO. Don't ever leave your car to them.

Auto repair shop is terrible. I walked in to get an inspection for new auto insurance. They said sure what their camera was broken they couldn't upload the program on their phone could you come back next week all excuses. While I was there the owner got pissed off and started yelling and screaming for no reason it seems he was just annoyed that he didn't want to do this little nonsense inspection but rather do big stuff like replace your engine.

Received a tow out to middle Long Island from the Canarsie area around mid day, but unknown to me instead of delivering my car they took it back to the shop and kept it overnight, despite a discussion w the driver of him delivering it that day as you would expect, and of the importance of work related valuables that were necessary to be obtained that same night. Of course I couldn't reach the driver or dispatch by the time I had realized. Slimy.
