This Tires is classified in the category of Auto repair shop.
Very kind. Took care of all of my car needs as well as educated me. The guys were very friendly. I would definitely come back!
THIEVES …not trust worthy and terrible attitude. If those words are not enough for you, check it out yourself.
Great and fast service love it
Quick inspection, great people, will return.
Have been going for years. Reliable and honest.
These guys are just the best. Polite, professional, honest. Been using them for years for all sorts of auto repair needs. Their specialty is tires, but I had to take my car in for an inspection and they did it today while I waited. I was in and out (after getting two tickets for an uninspected vehicle). They have the coolest waiting room of any auto dealer or repair shop I've been to. Fresh free coffee (not that crap you see at dealerships). Always other customers to talk with. My brother likes this outfit too. Highly recommended.
Good service, family run, honest. These guys are the best.
I had a screw in my tire (?). I pulled in unannounced and they had the tire patched and me back on the road in less than 20 minutes. Friendly, very reasonably priced, and professional.
Good place
Good service at good prices
Fantastic service shop, they took me without an appointment and fixed my headlight and tire in under 45 mins.
Used to be a loyal customer for years. Man behind counter with short grey hair was incredibly rude. Plenty of other places to go for basic auto repair and inspections.
cool
Decent prices, large selection, and good service. Also state inspection.
Fast and professional service. Great waiting area with a nice little coffee bar. Had a tire patched on a weekday morning. They fixed, installed.... Was in and out in under 30.
Ones..of the best
Great service whenever I get a oil change
Realized I needed a state inspection asap, couldn't have asked for better and more courteous service. In and out in 30 minutes on a Sunday morning and they didn't try to push unnecessary repairs on the car.
Really nice guys. Came in for an unscheduled inspection and they had me in and out in no time. Didn't even get to drink any of thejr free coffee
Took my car here for its yearly inspection. The staff was very courteous. They took care of my car right away and I was done in 20min. The waiting room is good (for a garage) and the cost was $35.
They diagnosed an issue with my boyfriend's car for free, and let us know the battery was fine even though we came in willing and expecting to replace it. Seems like an honest business! And the quote they gave for the actual problem was reasonable, for NYC prices.
Clean shop, polite and fast service. Interesting, comfortable waiting room with free Coffee, TV, WiFi and a view of the service area. Open Saturdays. Can't think of anything more to ask for.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Really unpleasant staff, Avoid if you can! They charging even air in your tire.
Great service , nice waiting area I would recommend using them
I went to Cybert Tire for a NYS auto inspection. They were friendly and quick, and informed me that I would need to replace my two rear tires and failed the inspection. However, a different autoshop passed my car and informed me that the tires were "not even close to needing to be replaced." I was lied to and my inspection failed, all in an attempt to sell me tires that did not match what I already had.
Second experience. First at new site. Yesterday (new car) a nail. Great experience, fair pricing and nice guys. Thx.
I told them that I had an extremely slow leak They said I had a nail in the tire then charged me $55 to fix a flat I have been driving for 35 you had many flats over the years and I have never been charged that much money
Blood sucking thieves ... Was told I had a problem with my steering gismo.. That gismo was replaced recently and it working fine.. These people cannot be trusted.. Really bad customer service..
The technician made our experience stress free. We appreciate how knowledgeable he was with the repairs 5 stars!
Reliable, friendly and very honest in my 10 or so years of service there for tires, maintenance and service. Much more reasonable than the dealer and they have always completed the work on time. I wish they made appointments though.
This is close there is no bussines here.
I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE HERE. THE GUYS ARE VERY HONEST. GOT ME IN AND OUT QUICKLY. AND THE COFEE IS GREAT
Still not sure whether I recommend this place or not. For those who are doing well financially it's definitely a “must go” place but considering my pocket it wasn't a place I could afford. Thankfully I was invited by someone from internet auction repokar to buy from them. I wasn't expecting I would like it so much! Easy to access, available from smart phone and what made me really happy: great prices.
Friendly guys. Great service. Reasonable prices.
Honest , competent, and fair pricing mean I can always sleep well after a trip to Cybert. Can’t wait for their upcoming new location !
An old-fashioned mechanic with mechanic values you're not going to get beaten in the head and they charge you $300 for a Gobstopper honest courteous professional amenities in the waiting room as well as coffee tea iced tea candies television up-to-date magazines and good conversation always decorated to for the holidays
Great place! The service is awesome and the people there are very nice and friendly! They have very good prices.
I would like to give them NO star at all, just because one guy behind the counter is not responsible and doesn’t get to understand that there are infinite other places to go. This guy has no clue how to talk to a costumer.
120 for a oil change??? Rip off. Got my money because I was so caught off guard. Explaining to me that it was a lot because my car "needed full synthetic" meanwhile tech marked synthetic blend on sticker. Dishonest. Lost my business from this point forward. ... Anyone can look up the price of the product described as being used and see the mark up here was excessive.
Fast service and reasonable price
Took my car for an inspection a little while back... They cited bubble in tire (which understandably had to be changed). Also said I had front suspension issues that would run over $2,000. But that they would discount it down to a little over $1,000. That's odd - offering me a discount, without me even starting to haggle. Took it to my long trusted mechanic in NJ and they said they couldn't find what they were talking about. Then took it to get inspected by a garage near my office in Brooklyn and they couldn't find any issue. #Scam
$50 to patch a hole in my tire!! That is highway robbery. Their explanation: “it’s a 19 inch wheel and we remove the tire and balance the wheel after.” Many competing shops do exactly the same thing for $20, including rebalancing. Of course, with a flat tire, they know you won’t be able to easily take your car elsewhere. I picked his shop based on the positive reviews on google. Now I’m wondering how many of those reviews are fake. Maybe this review can help someone else make an informed decision BEFORE taking this car to this shop. FYI they have moved around the corner to 545 W 52nd Street. The address on google maps is wrong.
I had the pleasure of taking my car to Cybert's after I got a flat tire in Manhattan. I wasn't able to get my car to John's shop until they were just about to close. He stayed open for me and got new tire on in 10 minutes. And it was on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. John and his staff were excellent. Very professional and honest. There aren't to many shops in the city that you can say that about. I've been driving in New York City for 15 years. This wasn't my first flat and probably wont be my last. But now I have a great shop that I know I can go to. Thanks again John and keep up the great work.
$57 for a Lexus RX flat tire fix. Owner got upset when I seemed shocked. I didn’t even say anything. Started lecturing me how he pays living wages and walked away. Staff was very courteous and professional. I have never had a flat fix in the city. So not sure if this is extreme or normal rate for flat fix and balance.
Almost daily NYC becomes more and more of an inhospitable place for private cars: Potholes, broken pavement, Citibikes, construction sites strewing nails and screws, impossible traffic and (soon) "congestion pricing." Survival is dependent upon quick, professional, high-quality repair and replacement service and, by that standard, Cybert Tire is a "must."
Excellent experience. Prompt service, good rates, great results. Emergency lug nut/studs replacement & 4 new tires. Ice cold iced tea (or iced coffee) to boot - nice touch on a hot day. And when it came time to pay, I was charged less than I had expected.
From the moment I entered the garage the staff were courteous with a great attitude, this is so reassuring when dealing with car emergencies.
Quick, efficient
It is rare to find an auto shop that you both trust and like. John and Mike do both. I first went to them years ago for a tire problem, and have had my cars serviced there almost exclusively since then (except for dealer-mandated work). They do high-quality work for a reasonable price. The shop itself is spotless (a sign for me of a good place) and they go out of their way to make you comfortable while you wait (ask anyone about their coffee!).
My husband and i were there a few days ago to get a new tire for our Mitsubshi. My husband, a recently retired Green Beret, was up working in NYC for business. We used as an excuse to take a quick weekend away. (We hadn't had any time together without our son since he was born almost 5 years ago!) Not 5 minutes away from the airport in Newark where my husband picked me up. We blew a tire after hitting a pothole the size of the Grand Canyon. We found Cybert Tire and were thrilled with their service. They gave us options on price. we bought the cheaper option that would get us home to North Carolina. They were honest and did not gouge two out-of-towners.
Got my Toyota Sequoia repaired within a few hours. Charged a reasonable price and did a clean work. My brother recommended Cybert Tire and I'll also recommend them for sure.
The people here are great, fast, honest and efficient. Highly recommended.
I drive a Subaru wagon and they definitely beat the 30k mile service price of the dealer by nearly $200. I didn't necessarily come these guys with an emergency situation, but they were attentive, honest and friendly, and the price is right.
Fast reliable service. Friendly folks, comfortable lounge with Wifi and decent coffee.
Cost $50 for a tire repair. Don't go here!!!!
I was told over the phone that I couldn't get an estimate until they "see the car". I drove there around 1PM and was told I'd get service in about "30 min". Those 30 turned into 60... 90... 120... I ended up leaving. The worst part about this place was looking at other cars coming after me and going right through me. Not even some basic level reassurance. Unless you are the only car on their list for the day or you wouldn't mind getting crappy service, avoid this place. Great service? Maybe 100 years ago...
Absolutely the best. Hardworking, honest and knowledgeable. I have had them repair my car and have never gone wrong any single day!
These guys are great. I've brought my 10 year old Honda Civic here many times. Great work, fast, good pricing. I trust them!
No customer service at all. Horrible attitude.
I’m so thankful that now I can give my review about Cybert Tire. For more than a year this company has taken care of my car until now. From changing my tires, accessories and maintenance, this is the only company I trusted. They were all kind, fast and easy to deal with. Nowadays, you can no longer find a better place like this.
Very fast and friendly service
I had a flat on my way to a meeting and they helped me out at a fair price and got me out asap. Friendly and fair in NYC...what else can you ask for
Great service, no pressure. My car needed some general maintenance besides the oil change. They were very thorough. Wiper blades, steering fluid. Don't know why I didn't have them change the headlight too. Will be back.
I love this place. Super nice, range of services in different price ranges. I love that I can sit in my car while they work on it. Changed my wiper blades, checked tire pressure, free alignment included in next visit, quick and back to work. Could have changed all fluids but I didn't do that this time. Good stuff, Maynard.
This is my absolutely favorite car repair shop that I have been to. Extremely friendly service, which include a clean bathroom, very good unlimited coffee, great decoration for holidays, but of course, most important, they do a great job to fix your car, and price is very reasonable! Highly recommended, and finitely a trust worthy store to go fix your car or go with any question you have!
That which I appreciate most is Ron's honesty. BMWs are killer to the wallet after the 5yr/65k service expires. At Cybert Tire & Car Care, they will tell you "like it is" about your car and not add this or that...(I'm not a mechanic, so I don't know what's what about this or that about the mechanics)
Just got an oil change. Took 15 minutes, guys were friendly and I never had to get out of my car definitely coming back.
Great place to get car batteries.
I brought in a Honda with an engine rattle to the shop on a Saturday. They quickly diagnosed and fixed a minor problem, got the car back to me within an hour, and didn't charge me for the full hour of labor. No hassle or upcharges.
Cybert Tire management and staff are a pleasure to work with. They always diagnose the problem. Give you an honest repair quote and get you back on the road ASAP.!
This is the go-to place in NYC. Honest and efficient. Will not try to up-sell you, an independent shop, staff is NOT on commission like dealers. Waiting room is awesome! Gourmet coffee bar and internet.
Had a pothole try to eat my car. Came limping in with a flat. Professional, speedy service. In and out in about 30 minutes.
I truly appreciate their willingness to work with me! Their customer service is great!
Friendly service, near my job, GREAT coffee and prices better than Jersey. Who would believe its in Manhattan.
Over 100 years re-tiring!! Full auto services including NYS inspection. Professional, quality, guaranteed work. Fleets, credit cards welcome. Great fresh ground on site Free coffee daily and WiFi in waiting area. Free classic car calendars. An automotive Oasis in the Manhattan jungle! Spanish speaking staff available to answer your questions if needed or preferred.
Convenient place, since it's so close to home. Helpful staff. And they really do good work. A bit over priced for "labor". But i guess it's expected, given the area. My Car works fine after getting it back from them though. And they seem honest, which I sincerely appreciate. Edit: 7/24/19---. I keep coming back. No complaints so far. I've only had minor service work though. In any case, this place has grown on me.
I love coming here. They are friendly and quick. My man fixed it in less than 20 minutes. I recommend this place to everyone.
There was a problem with my cars steering system I thought the Tie Rod Ends might need replacing but was unsure what the problem was. I called Cybert and explained the issue and asked how much they charged to take a look at the steering system and tell me what's wrong and give me an estimate. They said there would be NO CHARGE because they only needed to look at a specific area to diagnose what's wrong. I drove my car there and was told by a rude employee that they charged $109 just to look at it. He said the other employee gave me misinformation. Please don't waste your time going here. They are shady liars who tell you one thing on the phone to get you there and something else once you're there.
They did not have the tire I needed, but directed me to a place for a very temporary fix.
Cybertech has come to stay and never to loose.
I took a company vehicle here for a state inspection. I was warned by a coworker that this place fails you every time and then price gouges you. They said we needed front brake pads and then wanted to charge "$450-$650" to fix it and lucky for me, they could fit me in today. I decided to pay for my inspection and leave. I paid for the $37 inspection with a $50 bill and I didn't realize until I got back to the office that they only gave me $3 change (my fault for not checking before I left).
I went to Cybert to get a tire replaced after getting a flat. They got me in within 5 minutes, and had a new tire on my car within 15 minutes. Quick, painless, and they didnt overcharge me.
Classy, clean, super friendly, and best of all, super fast service. On the Friday after thanksgiving, I only had to wait 10 minutes for an oil change and it took under 45 minutes! And $5-$10 less money than a junky (but good) place I used to go in Brooklyn. :) Really highly recommend!
The worst experience in my life. They charge me $90.00 for the regular oil change !!!
11/14 truck Radiator thermostat diagnosed and fixed at Cybert... $800. 3/15 Radiator leaking, taken back to Cybert they concluded "someone" put the wrong radiator cap on therefore causing a leak...$250 to diagnose and fix. Two days later while my son is driving to Buffalo,NY the truck overheats and gets towed to nearest service center where they conclude all the radiator fluid leaked out because the radiator cap was loosely put on and radiator hose unattatched causing a leak over the 400+ drive. $159 to tow and fix. Invoice from Buffalo service station taken to Cybert, who eventually tell me that the owner will not honor the warranty because the truck wasn't towed over 400 miles back to them. These people will not stand by their work even when they over charge and obviously don't do the job properly. THIEVES, CROOKS, INCOMPS
Best shop in town, great customer service.
I brought my 2013 5 series BMW here to get the starter replaced. NEVER HAD 1 ISSUE BEFORE HIRING CYBERT TO REPLACE STARTER. When my car was returned, it was barely running and was stating "drivetrain malfunction" on the screen. It was backfiring, revving when first turned on, shaking at times, and did not have full engine power along with numerous other issues whilst engine was turned on. I brought this to the attention of the manager and he told me they were not responsible as the car was not running when i brought it to them as the starter needed to be replaced so if I wanted to have them work on it more I'd need to pay more than the 900$ i had already been charged. Instead of allowing them to damage my car any further, i brought it to another mechanic. New mechanic showed me how cybert had left numerous wires unplugged and the ends of the wires were frayed and melted from the heat of the engine therefore my car was not hooked back up even close to properly!! Cybert either purposely left all those wires unplugged to make more money or are not BMW certified as they falsely advertise! DO NOT LET THEM RUIN YOUR CAR, LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE OF TRUSTING THEM AND GO SOMEWHERE PROPER!! THEY ARE SNAKES IN THE GRASS!!
Had a flat tire repaired. They were quick and efficient and priced well.
Cyber Tire provides excellent service. They are timely professional and honest. Highly recommend.
Mike responded to my urgent need to have my BMW M3 ‘95 receive an immediate car inspection. Within less than an hour, he adequately diagnosed that my car needed new brakes. In addition to this, his fee for this service was much less than what an authorized BMW dealership would charge and he finished the job within a day. I personal want to thank Mike for his excellent customer service and for making sure that my car drives “safely and soundly”. Jeff
Both i and my husband have been coming here for years. Great service - never try to sell you a tire when a patch will do, and great coffee while you wait!
I remember having my car serviced here years ago and was very pleased with their professionalism and how neat and bright the place looked. But just beware. I went a few months ago for a brake tune up, but they don't install parts you bring yourself. They were nice to recommend another place for this kind of job.
These guys rock! Honest and they do great work. They make the toughest of jobs seem easy. The rates are reasonable and the work is quality. They are Subaru experts. I will only trust them with all my car's service. If you drive a Subaru, take it here.
I brought my 2003 Ford Focus here, and they did a wonderful job. The owner was very nice, upfront and honest. And I'm thrilled not only that they fixed my car so it would pass inspection but that the check engine light has stayed off after driving it quite a bit. They seem to really know what they're doing, and they brought some much needed life into my old car as well as more reliability for bringing the car out for day trips! Thanks so much! I will be back as a regular customer.
The manager basically extorted 10$ from me. I called before I went, to ask if they sell headlight lamps so I can change it myself before my state safety inspection. I already had the socket out, I was supposed to push the bulb in only when he informed me that if I do it by myself he's gonna have to fail my state inspection and if they do it with 10$ labor more everything will be fine. I payed the 10$ extra since I didn't want to pay 37$ more.
Polite helpful and prompt. Their prices remain unbeaten too. I will definitely do have my maintenance/repair services done here and spread the word! keep it up guys!
This is worse tire shop I have never been
Been using Cybert Tire since 2002. Always fair price fast work done right.
I called ahead to ask about an oil change. They said I could bring it in at any time that day and it would probably just have to wait like 20-25 minutes for them to actually do the service on the car. I show up and this VERY condescending man tells me that it will be easily 45 minutes before he can “even talk to me” and to “keep moving along. They can’t even take the car in.” Not worth the hassle. I went someplace else that actually followed through on what they promised on he phone. “Drop it off anytime and we’ll be able to tell you how long it will take to get back to you.” Cybert just plain and simply lied on the phone. Bad form.
Came by for some air for my tire this morning. Walked in and there were 2 gentlemen sitting looking pretty available. Asked if they could just fill me up with some air and he said the price was $20. When I asked the guy behind the desk if he was serious he suggested I leave, being extremely rude and super unwilling to help. Went down the block to the Mobil gas station and filled up my air for $1. Omar at the station ordered me a new tire that I will have installed Monday. I would recommend staying away from this place as any place that doesn't understand the spirit of being of service to a customer should not be trusted to diagnose a problem with your car honestly. As you can see from the owners response below - he does not acknowledge the fact that he or his employee was extremely rude and instead of explaining why it was so expensive he asked me to leave. in the Employees words "if you don't like it you can leave"
Machanic by proffession
Saved my skin twice. Acura tried swindling me into a new 9K motor and as I suspected Cybert was able to helicoli a spark plug thread - all in $400. Then this week I noted my inspection was outdated. Took me on the spot and didn't try to upsell me anything.
