This place is very professional. I came in with a flat tire on my Audi A6, they gave me a loan tire free of charge until they ordered me another tire. They were fast changing the tires and did a great job. I've been to many tire shops and this is hands down the best place. I definitely recommend it!!

Professional, and efficient customer service. Husband purchased huge tires for his F-150. We purchased the tires from TireRack and they recommended this place. My husband is a hard person to please when it comes to his truck but he came back with nothing but praise and compliments. When he called me I thought there was some issue, but he said, "P this place is bad". He was in and out of there in no time and they handled his truck with care....this is important to him...lol. Before going there he checked several places, most places could not handle the tire size and the few places that could, quoted him prices more than double of what he paid. We live in Queens Village so I am so glad that we found a great business in my neighborhood!

5/28/2014: I found this place on google and drove all the way because of their positive ratings. Found them to be honest. Work was done quickly. Owner is a nice guy. Update: 6/12/2015 - went there again. Met owners son this time. He is very helpful. Again they are honest. They charged me a reasonable cost for repair of my rim. I recommend this place and will maintain 5 stars from last year.

Haven't been there. But the management is frank, upfront about their service and cost involved through facebook messenger. I am very impressed by their professionalism. Been there today to refurbish and repaint 4 rims into glossy black. Any problems arising, Billy would call to consult.

I ordered tires for my daughter's car not realizing it was the wrong size. When I got to the shop, I was embarrassed to say the least. Frank gave me 2 options - they could send back the wrong size for the proper size, or put me in a different brand tire for $4 per tire more. They also fixed her bent wheel when they could have easily tried to sell me a new or used wheel. Bottom line - in 1 hour I was on my way home a very satisfied customer. Highly recommended and I will be back for my tire needs. Great guys and great service.

Honest and upright people here at Cross Island Tire. Despite my limited knowledge, I never once felt uncomfortable or as though I was being taken for a ride. My car wasnt shaking until I came over there to get tires I brought balance and put on. They told me that my rims are bent and each tire is $60, and cause I ain't get it done I was going to experience vibrations and I did. i Just dont like the fact that I came there and my car was driving smooth, all I wanted was to get my tires changed, and my rims are bent now. My ride was driving smooth and now it ain't anymore.

Flat fixed quickly and inexpensive. I have had nails stuck in my tires at least 4 times in the past 2 years. Each time I just head over to Cross Island and they psych it up in a few minutes for a few bucks.

Have had race cars, daily drivers, brand new cars and trucks and they continously take care of everything I need. 3-4 spaces for them to work on your car so if you need a flat fixed or just got a new set of rims/tires they will have you in and out quick. As many reviewers have stated, I too as well found Cross Island on google when I noticed I had bubble in one of my tires. After getting there, I quickly told them I want the same tire new. In less then 15 minutes I was on my way out of there with a new tire installed on my vehicle. Their prices were average but the service was top notch. I don't see any reason to give them less than 5 stars.

I have been bringing all my cars here for the past 15+ years Prices are always good for fixing flats and bent wheels. They get you in and out quickly also. The only negative would be the hours they are open. Wish they had stay open till 7, 8 or 9 pm on one day. =) Still the best price for flat repair compared to others. They generally use a patch instead of a plug, which offers a better seal. Some other flat repair places, just use a plug.

After I had tires installed, I went back 'cause one of tires leaked. They discovered that it was a valve stem, and one of them said, "you're supposed to have stems replaced when replacing tires." The delivery and his body language reeked attitude but I just replied,"I didn't think I'd need it since I had them replaced less than a yr ago." I was curious to see what that stem looked like but it was already cut in pieces to be removed, and subsequently I was told, "you gotta cut it to remove it. How am I suppose to install a new one if I don't remove it." It was then very evident to me that he was indeed being a bit condescending. So I told them we can do this without attitude, and they took exception to that. Manager joined in to take his side, so feeling a bit outnumbered and frustrated, I used an 'f' word as an adjective. Manager told me to get out his place of business. So I did, and he followed. I apologized for using profanity, but in turn I asked for an apology. His answer was no, and that he doesn't understand why grown men have to fight over a stem. I told him I agreed with him except that I didn't instigate it. I told him he wouldn't just walk away from being disrespected either, and I know so 'cause I just saw him take exception to my use of profanity. I apologized, and he should too. But the only compromise I got in return was an half-admission of fault by saying, "that guy has been known to do that." Not exactly an apology. He offered to replace stem free of charge, but it wasn't the $5 I was upset about. Like the manager said, we are all grown men, there was no need to project whatever the problem one might have onto another person, and take exception if that person speaks on it. Very disappointed and, needless to say, I wish I didn't give them business by having tires installed and rims repaired. I won't make that mistake again, and neither will my co-workers and friends.

I bought 2 19" after market rims to swap out the tires (i had my own tires) .they already had 3-4 cars being serviced. t\They immediately took my wheels in after 10 min of waiting because it was already off the car. I was going to go to tire INTRACK TIRES but these guys were closer. -Price was fair. -time waiting for service was fair -only thing when i got home and mounted the tires , they had different psi. 1 had 35 and the other 55. ouch. -and they returned the rims way dirtier I will diff go back with the other 2 rims to be refinished and update this post w/pictures

Had my wheel done here and they anwsered all my question in a very professional manner. when I picked up my wheel they put it on my truck and I was on my way. when I got home the color was a little bit off from the other wheels. I called and expressed my concerns, without questioning me they said to bring it back. Redid my wheel and matched the paint for me at no extra cost to me. Cross island has a customer for life. I can not recommend this place highly enough. They are honest and will not BS you. Several times I was told that the problem was a bent rim or some minor issue which did not require a new tire. But when one is needed they have a good selection and very nice prices. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and very efficient —- I am usually in or out within 20 minutes. Once again— highly recommended.

Decent place. Has a lot of workers so you never wait very long. Just pay attention to when they are selling you a used tire. They'll sell you anything, including very old tires which are unsafe (over four + years since manufacture).

The tire guys didn't even put back my valve stems and the two guys in the store were busy charging me for the disposal fee of 5$ after I had already give 5 $ tip to both of the guys who did the work.had I known that they would've just got 5 and split it I just wished a little bit more effort was taken to do the job right the first time to earn business

After searching online for a new set of tires and going to different tire stores (Mavis, Sears, Pepboys), I am very pleased with my final decision to go with Cross Island. Joe replaced all 4 of my tires in the pouring rain and still managed to stay pleasant. Two weeks later, when I saw I ran over a screw, Joe (again) took care of it so quickly I was able to get to work on time. He's a sweetheart. God Bless- Highly recommend.

It's my first time to change my tires. But they are nice and patient to answer my question. In addition, they are professional and quick to finish every thing in 30 min without any dirty to your car. And the price is affordable. After a while, I may come back to update the experience of new tires. So far, everything is good.

Highly recommend going to Cross Island Tire! I spent an entire day running through the boroughs trying to find a shop that would balance my not that large 34” tires on my truck and everyone turned me away but these guy took care of it. Although they were unable to balance it the first time they had me come back a second time and tried balancing my wheels again with a different method and that attempt failed as well so they sent me to one of their other locations to try a third method. They really took care of me and made it right as a paying customer and did not charge me for the second or third balances. Definitely recommending them to friends and family!

Had a wheel bent after hitting a pothole, Cross Island Tire & Wheel fixed the rim for $35 and changed the broken wheel cover of my Ford Fusion (with a used one) for $20, in less than an hour. Unbeatable prices, highly recommended place.

Such great service. Price fair too. I could not find my wheel lock to replace new tire at Costco. I went several tire shops. Only this shop charge $10/each to unlock. I drove my car to the shop. Before unlocking, the technician checked my car's compartment as Costco technicians. The different was he put his hand very deep to reach the bag containing the lock. His wonderful service save me lot of money and grief. I strongly recommend this shop.

Found the place from my Google map search and read the good reviews and decided to try it. The place was not new looking, but I guess this is how they can keep their cost down. The service and price were excellent. Found and patched my slow tire leak within 30 minutes for $10. The guy took the time to show me the nails that were causing the leak and also tighten up my tire valve. Will definitely recommend to others and of course will go back for all my tire needs. Normally I don't write reviews but these guys were really excellent and deserve more business.
