Albuquerque Tire has taken care of both my wife's and my cars for twenty years. Tires, brakes...whatever...the work is always complete and right the first time. I travel a lot and my wife feels comfortable taking her car to Albuquerque Tire when I am traveling because she knows she can trust Tom and/or Adam to do exactly what is needed at a fair price. Over the years we have referred several friends and their comments have always been how pleased they were with the service they received. Tom and Adam get 5 stars in my book!

One of the most awful experiences I have ever encountered at a place of business. They lied and cheated me and acted like I was crazy. I have a vintage car which requires hand screwing wheel caps and they didn't screw mine back on. Two fell off while driving, one I was able to recover from the road because of a friendly motorist waving me down. My wheel caps cost 75 bucks to replace. I went and screwed the other one on myself and they didn't even put in my original screws so finding the right ones was tricky. I went back to the tire shop and they treated me with such contempt, and completely denied that I even had them on my car! One of the mechanic then told the owner I wasn't lying, that I was telling the truth, and whoever that man was has more character than the owner and the manager who both then blame their workers yet still would not replace my wheel caps even though I gave them the supply place where I got them and they had them in stock. I told them they didn't have to even be in perfect condition a mid grade was fine which is less money. They said they'd replace them and call me when they came in. I went in after a week because I hadn't heard from them and was met with the same contempt. I believe it's because I'm a woman and they don't know how to treat customers fairly. I'm sure if I was a man they wouldn't have done that , but, they are cowards. I'm a single mother with two kids and not rich! To this day they have never called me back to rectify the wrong. I'm a small business owner myself and would never treat my customers that way. It's a shame because I support small business, but when this happened- it's Discount Tire !! They treated me much better and made sure my car was ready to go wheel caps and all plus they have nationwide guarantee!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Took my truck in to have the brakes done. They did that part of the job fine. They didn't machine the rotors. So, just took it back for them to be machined. The tech decided to go home sick and left the truck in the air and hasn't started the job when i called to check in a few hours later. I specifically told them i needed to be somewhere in the afternoon and nobody called to update me. So, went to pick up my truck and dude at the desk literally hands me the keys without saying a word. Not a 'sorry about that', a 'can we reschedule you'.... NOTHING! This business had done great work for me in the past and i actually inquired about new tires while there, but the customer service today was junk and enough for me to give a review and take my business elsewhere.

They could have easily made up some bogus problem but the manager was very nice enough to just fix it. Requested a quote online and they emailed it to me promptly. It included all fees and taxes. They replaced all 4 tires in around 30 minutes, and when I went to pay the price was exactly what they quoted me with no hidden or extra fees tacked on at the end. They were nice and didn't try to upsell me or hassle me like they do at some of the bigger chain tire places.

When I needed new tires earlier this year, I called Albuquerque Tire for an estimate. They gave me a couple of options for my car and I did my research and picked the less expensive model. I was very happy with how inexpensive the tires were compared to my last tire buying experience with a national chain.I also really liked that Albuquerque Tire did not try to hard-sell me the more expensive tires or to get me to buy additional services. They were really pleasant to deal with in every aspect and I would recommend them to anyone needing tires or tire service.

Go anywhere else. Called on June 16, after making a quote online, to set up the appointment. I was told the online quote doesn't reflect the correct pricing and I would be paying about $5 more per tire. No worries, I thought, I'll go ahead and make the appointment. Gave all my info (name, address, vehicle info) and confirmed 11am July 6 and that it would take about 30 to 45 minutes. Showed up at 11am on July 6 to find zero record of me or my order. At minimum an hour wait. I'll take my business to any other tire shop and recommend others do the same. *Edit* I called Pep Boys - they gave me a better price for the same tires, when I showed up to the appointment my tires were waiting and my name was on the schedule. Again, I recommend to avoid Albuquerque Tire.

I’ve used this place for shocks and brakes. They gave me such a great and honest price and estimate I bought tires to at an excellent fair price and the tires the recommended have been amazing. The weird thing is this is the first place that has been able to Align my truck and have it stay aligned sine I bought it. Big-O and Firestone couldn’t. I referred my ex wife to them for brakes after the dealership said she was in need of brakes immediately. They told her she had at least a few thousand miles until the really need replacing. And the rotors would need turning she just had them done for hundreds less than the dealer. Fair to women and men alike they are not out to rip anyone off. As a small business owner I’m glad that I get the same Fair business practice I offer.

Absolutely spectacular! I scheduled a tire balancing service because my steering wheel was shaking at high speeds. Before I even went into the shop, I received an affordable price quote in a timely manner. When I called to make the appointment, they answered all the questions I had. The day of the appointment, they let me come in earlier than my scheduled appointment, which was really awesome! The gentleman helping with my vehicle, Cade, diligently rolled my tire to me in the waiting area and showed me the problem. My tire was splitting and he explained that was most likely causing the issue. He also explained that replacing the tire would fix the issue and a balancing was not necessarily needed. So I had the tire changed, he also rotated my tires and he checked my tire sensors. He also offered quotes on some things that I would be needing in the future, also at very affordable prices. Every gentleman in the store was knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. The best part was, after leaving, my car was fixed. My steering wheel didn't shake and my car was riding smooth once more. Thank you for such a positive experience. I definitely recommend this place.

Customer service was good on the initial drop off for an alignment job. Picked up my vehicle an hour later and on the drive home felt a vibration which didn't exist before. Figured it was a balancing issue with the tires so I got them checked. They were fine so I took my vehicle back to Albuquerque Tire. I explained the situation and put no blame on the shop. Just wanted my vehicle checked out to isolate the issue. This time around customer service was horrible. They were very defensive and even went as far as saying that I couldn't have got the balance on the tires checked in the time I had picked up the vehicle to when I brought it back. Without actually saying it they called me a liar. Yet again another mechanic/tire shop that doesn't care about customer service. Never got a clear answer on what the problem causing the vibration is, just the run around. Great price for alignment jobs though, if they actually perform the job correctly. Who knows?

Seven years ago my daughter convinced me to try Albuquerque Tire because she knew Adam and trusted him. I will never go anywhere else for tires. This company is so friendly, honest, and professional. I have purchased two sets of tires from them now, and they advised me both times about which tires I need based on the age and condition of my car and how long I expect to be driving it before a trade in. I go every 4-5 months for a free rotation, and if I have a problem of any kind, they are honest and professional in their discussions with me. I never feel like they are "dumbing down" their conversations because I am a woman.

Earlier this week, I was on the way to take a family member to an important Dr.'s appt and "thump, thump, thump" I had a rear FLAT tire. Family member caught a ride. I'm pretty skilled at tire changes, but an amazing young man (Tyler) hopped off his bike and stepped up - we got the job done in record time. I looked up "Tire Repair" on Yelp and saw that Albuquerque Tire was rated #1. What caught my eye was the funny review that indicated that if you didn't get your tires at Albuquerque Tire, you were a "dumbass". I'm no dumbass, so I called them. Cade said, "Sure, no problem, just come in and we'll take care of it." When I arrive 5 min later, he immediately took my car back for the repair. After 25 min waiting in a very comfortable, pristine waiting area (including a stop in the immaculate Women's room), Adam presented the bill - about $21 -and I was all set to go. I got to the Dr.'s office in time for the appt! Customer service: excellent. Prices very fair. Highly recommend Albuquerque Tire for repairs - and I will be purchasing my next set of tires here!

Had initially taken my car to Chett's for wheel balancing and mounting of 4 new tires. They charged me 244 (and overinflated the tires - and it was summer!) and the service rep had a bad attitude. So I decided take my money somewhere else, and I googled Abq Tires. Excellent customer service. Richard was very polite, and got me an appointment the same day, and balanced the wheel all for a fair price. They also corrected the tire pressures to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. They have a nice waiting room, and the people who work there are honest individuals. Now, I know where to go next time for any service.

Tacoma with aftermarket parts, they were able to give me 3.5 of castor no problem, drives and tracks straight as an arrow. On my 285/70/17 Bfg Ko2s, other places that tried to balanced them, said they are just prone to vibrations and are hard to balance. After Albuquerque Tire rebalanced my tires, my truck feels like new, like driving on glass!!! Great guys, great work, and reasonably priced to boot!!! My new go to shop for tires/alingmnet!!!

This shop does not honor its promises. It does not own its mistakes. And especially, do not have this shop install tires from another vendor, such as Tire Rack. I bought a set of Michelins from Tire Rack. ABQ Tire installed them. Same thing for new front-end shocks. I took the vehicle back three times due to balancing issues. "They sent you a bad tire." I got a replacement from Tire Rack. ABQ Tire installed a wrong tire. Sick of taking my vehicle back there – five times at that point – I ignored a clunk in the left-front, which started after the shocks were installed, till I brought the vehicle in for rotation and rebalancing at 6K miles. "We never promised you free rebalancing" (they did). "That'll cost you $15/tire." And, "There is no clunk." I pointed it out. "It's in the column, we didn't do it." I wanted to like these guys. I try to support local shops. But that's what you get at ABQ Tire.

Had issues with a tire told them I would buy 2 new ones, was informed all I needed was a patch so I could save myself the 200 bucks and pay 16 instead. I have never seen that from a business where they care more about the customer than the dollar signs. They will have my business for life. Awesome business model!!!

These guys are great! I was on my way through New Mexico when I got a flat tire that couldn't be repaired. And since my Tesla Model X has 20inch tires and literally no other shop in the 100 mile radius had this size, they are the only ones that found a tire for me and the next morning I was already on my way!

I don't recommend this place to anyone. I went to this store two days ago before traveling to check on a problem related to car vibration. Although only one day before I went to them, I had my tires balanced and rotated at Costco. When I went to them I was only considering an alignment, but they were not honest and they layed to me that my tires were not balanced and I was convinced that the problem will go once the tires are rebalanced again. I trusted them and I paid 89 total for something that I already have. Unfortunately, I drove directly with my family to Flagstaff. Me and my family had an accident and lucky thanks God we were safe. What happened is that theses Grady people laid to me and I found out that my car was balanced even before I went to them. My car did not need balancing at all as they said and there was a measure problem that has nothing to do with tire balancing. Because I relied on their dishonest words that my main problem is tires balancing, which was not true, me and my family had an accident on the road and I had to pay over 1000$. Please, never go to this place unless you have more money to lose. I hope I can rate zero star.

I was in town from Illinois and a tire leaking air which i thought was a piece of metal in the tire. They found I had a leaking valve stem and they fixed it for free. Very trustworthy business.

This is what I get for trying to support a local business. Made an appt at 930 am to get service performed, all to get a call at 130pm for them to say that they barely looked at my vehicle and couldn’t do it because they didn’t have a technician to do it. Horrible business, go somewhere else where they actually keep their word. Wasted an entire day lost money and didn’t get anything accomplished.all because a technician was “sick”....seem I’m not the only one whom has had his same issue here.

I have had a string of bad luck with getting flat tires over the past year, and I have gone to ABQ Tires each time. I highly recommend going to this business, as their customer service is outstanding, and the quality of work is the same. They also don't try to up sale you and are respectful of your budget. I appreciate the work they've done and will continue to do.

For several years I have done business with these great people. First I needed my vehicle checked out to see if what I feared was serious. They did a check for free and assured me there was no problem. I am single and wary of getting taken advantage of and there is no way Tom, Adam or Cade would take advantage of me not knowing whether or not my car really needed work . I have had an alignment done and it was excellent. I have also bought wheels and tires and have been extremely satisfied with the professionalism , work , price and care they took of my vehicle . Any questions I ever have they never hesitate to answer me with patience and at a novice level. I very much appreciate these honest , nice people and the guys in the shop are great too. I have never had a problem with any of them. Abq tire deserves a pat on the back for their hard work and for being an upstanding and outstanding local business.
