Took my car couple weeks ago to diagnose an issue.. i had explained the issue but after about 3 hours of diagnostic they couldnt understand the issue.. i test drove the car myself to clarify the issue.. sat thr another hour for them to diagnose the root cause and Mark after talking to the mechanic advised couple engine miss fires and faulty spark plugs.. upon getting the estimate he also recommended cleaning fuel system.. estimate was high but Mark confirmed that this will fix the issue.. i left the car over night yesterday and received the call on today (saturday the august 13th) to pick it up. I asked mark has the car been test driven to confirm issue does not persist and he confirmed that the issue does not persist.. he confirmed that the issue is no more and I paid the bill.. as soon as i left the shop not only the issue was still in the car there were few more problems with the car.. i called mark and brought the car back right away.. and upon asking what did you fix and how was it fixed and how was did it pass the test drive mark had no response.. all he kept saying that those codes are gone from the car and here is another huge estimate for few more parts that we can fix.. I also explained him how critical it is for me to have car for the weekend as i need it for work. He did not provide any alternative or attempted to resolve the even more issues with the car.. WHAT A SHAME.. AFTER THEY pretended to have FIXED MY CAR even though they couldnt even understand the issue my car No longer shuts down after turning it off .. i again informed mark that my car is Not TURNING OFF and asked him to provide me with shop owners (Jeff Acolia) phone so i can escalate this matter.. he told me that the owner doesnt have a phone and that he will call me back before they close today, which was 4 hours ago. THIS IS HOW I AM TREATED AFTER INFORMING THESE GUYS HOW THIS IS CRITIC AND AFTER PAYING FOR NOTHING. I HAVE TO WRITE ALL THIS HERE BECAUSE NO CARES TO TAKE RESPONSEBILITY TO DO THE RIGHT THING OR EVEN CALL BACK.. HORRIBLE PLACE TO BRING YOUR CAR AND GET RIPPED OFF.. i will be desputing the payment i made.

I brought my car in a few days ago, it was making a clunking sound. I had recieved a coupon in the mail so i thought id take advantage of the opportunity. I was nervous about going to a small shop instead of a chain but ill never go anywhere else now. Not only did they fix the issue, but actually took me into the shop to show me what was wrong with my car. I did get the free multipoint imspection as well and they told me what needed to be done and honestly told me what i could wait to do. My overall experience was excellent and the customer service couldn't have been any better. They were friendly and finished my car fast. Everyone there seemed helpful and knowledgeable. Most importantly have had no issues with the car since.

Brought my car in for a waterpump... They called asking if they could keep it an additional day which I said I had a rental until sunday so they could keep it until then. The guy never thought to mention that they are closed sunday so I had to keep the rental car an additional day (on a weekend which ended up costing approximately another $100) and be late to work just to get my car on Monday. I didn't even bother mentioning because it could have been a misunderstanding, but after my car was fixed, I was spammed with email after email (6 in total) from them. Very annoying experience and I will not be returning... I also just noticed I was not the first person to mention the abundance of emails so clearly its something they need to address

Not only was the staff exceptionally helpful and pleasant, they set me up with a U-Haul rental to finish moving my daughter while they worked on my Subaru. Great work,I have 2 cars in service there a Toyota and a Mercedes, love that they pick me up and drop me of at home. Prices are not much lower that the dealer. Mechanics are great, and if you bring your own parts and just require labor that is not a problem. I bring my own parts most of the time when they work on my 26 year old Mercedes SL. When or If a problem arises, Jeff will deal with it personally. My cars will be coming back and I can recommend them.

After I put new tires on my '04 Santa Fe, I took it to Superior for an alignment. The alignment tech showed me that both lower ball joints were quite worn. He could shake the wheel back & forth when the front end was jacked up. He could still do the alignment when the weight of the car was on the ground as that centered the ball joints in the middle of the wear. I changed the lower control arms which gave me new ball joints and rubber bushings, not to mention nice, shiny control arms. :-) Quite a treat for a 234,000 mile SUV. When I came back, he re-did the alignment at no additional charge. It was close enough to need only minimal adjustment. Now it tracks straight & true on the new tires. Pirelli, by the way. PS Always a treat to talk with Suraj in the front office.

They did an oil change on my car a few weeks back. Nothing crazy...just a routine oil change. I honestly thought that would be the last time I heard from them until I needed something else done with my car. Well...I thought wrong! They are sending me notes in the mail and emailing me constantly! It is very annoying. If you do not want to be harassed, do NOT take your car here! They of course tried to upsell me as well, telling me all the things I needed to do next time I came in and how I should get a warranty from a company they deal with. No thank you! Avoid this place at all costs! Update: Now they are calling me leaving me voicemail's! Are you kidding me?? I am one step away from calling the cops on them for harassment!

Brought my 2013 BMW 535xi for rear brakes. Because it was a holiday, they quoted me a price, but told me that when their parts supplier opened the price could be lower. They called the next day, told me the car was completed, and the parts were $200 less. MUCH less expensive than the dealership and brakes work great

I have been going to Superior for a few months now and have been quite happy with their work, prices and how they do buisness. Although I have not had any major work done I can see that they will tell you what work should be done and if it can wait. On my last visit I asked for a price and recommendation for tires. I purchased 4 new General RS43 from them. The tires are the quietest I've ever had on this car. At home later, I compared their price to TireRac and found that they were within 3-4 dollars per tire (after shipping costs) compared to TireRac. That's great!! Good recommendations, competitive prices, honest and easy to do buisness with. What else could you ask for in a shop.

I whole-heartedly recommend SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE. TRUE STORY. My mechanic couldn’t get the parts. Then the dealership told me it would be $1200 plus tax and labor. Then SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE looked at it fashioned their own piece to weld on my broken exhaust. They charged me a hundred bucks. I liked the way they treated me and I saw how they treated elderly people as well. A++. These guys are now my go-to guys-they are a little farther for me but we’ll worth it.

I have had some really bad encounters with dealerships and other mechanics in the past, so six months ago, when I brought my car to Superior for a check up I was pretty suspicious when they told me that I needed my control arms replaced in the front of my car. I opted not to get it fixed at the time. They were completely honest with me that I could continue driving the car but I would chew through tires. Sure enough, 2 tires and 6 months later my car is making funny noises and I brought it back in. Not only did they remember me, but since they had already identified the problem before and still had it on file, they had the parts in stock and ready to go. The staff is honest and straight forward and communicate openly. Frankly this type of behavior is the exception now a days with other places. Even though I live down in DC, I would not hesitate to come all the way back up to superior. This is a good, solid small business with a penchant for honesty and good customer service, I strongly recommend them.

05/06/16 Update: I have still been going to Superior Automotive all these years. Jeff and crew have taken care of all my vehicles. Recently bought new tires for the wife's car. It was painless, I got the prices from Mark and then went home to research. Called back and ordered new tires for the car. Installation was quick and I was out the door. I recommend Superior Automotive. I have never had any trouble with Superior Automotive, as they have worked on 3 of my cars. All prices were supplied to me prior to any work - estimates were accurate. There was an issue with an oil pan gasket, but it was resolved without any issues. I have recommended Superior to many people, I will continue to go there.

I am a mechanical engineer by education with a decent knowledge of cars/engines. I work on my own cars and rarely go to a mechanic. I was replacing the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) of my '06 Expy and broke one of the bolts of the sensor. I removed the entire throttle body and still cannot get the bolt off. I looked online for the body. Genuine part is $225, aftermarket is $150. So, I decided to take it to a shop and get the bolt off for a fraction of a new part's cost. I live in Robbinsville and have seen Superior Automotive while driving on Rt.130. As soon as I entered the office, Mark greeted me and I explained what happened. He immediately took the part into the shop and came back in a minute or so with the broken bolt removed. When I asked him what I owed him, his answer made my day: "You owe me nothing". I am so pleased that there are still mechanics with great work ethic and integrity like Mark. I have several domestic/import cars and when it comes to cars I am a VERY "anal-retentive" person. From now on, my address will be SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE when I run into problems that I cannot solve, not because I got a free service but rather due to the fact that I believed in the honesty Mark presented. Oh, they work on luxury imports as well. No need to go to "stealers". Thanks again, Mark!

Went in for a routine oil change as well as a 'health' checkup on my very old car (1993) as I am moving to GA in January and planning on taking my car with me (13 hour drive). However, turns out a lot of things were falling apart inside that I had no idea about due to the age of my vehicle. I ended up just getting the brakes done, but the entire process was very hard emotionally for me as I was having to put out a LOT more money than I was expecting to - particularly before the holidays and the big trip! However, the people at Superior Auto were great, treating me with the upmost kindness and worked as best as they could to keep the price to a minimum. One of the mechanics, Mark, explained to both me and a close relative everything that they were doing, and why they were doing it. He even took me out to my car and showed me exactly why certain parts were faulty, why they needed to be replaced, ect. He showed me the break down of the bill, and showed me how he searched for the cheapest price for each of the parts I needed - trying his absolute best to keep the bill low. For the amount of time, effort, and extent to which my car needed work, the price of labor was very low. They all went above and beyond what I expected. Thanks!

Had an issue with my car, called the Shop , and I had an appt. within 2 days. After diagnosing my problem, they fixed it that day and informed me what was going on thru the whole process. Very professional and courteous. They even asked me if I was Triple A member to receive a discount. I have been using Superior off and on now for well over 15 years. They are always very professional and highly experienced. I always feel confident when I take my car to them. I had punctured the tire on my new 2015 Civic a few weeks ago. I immediately called Superior and they said bring it right in. They repaired the tire promptly and perfectly in a timely manner. It seems Jeff had put a lot of effort lately into growing his business and it certainly shows! I will be using them exclusively for general maintenance on my Civic once my free oil changes are used up at the dealer. The ONLY thing I think they can improve on just a bit is somehow expanding the waiting area, its very tight and you are practically right against the counter when you are sitting, but im sure Jeff has heard this and would love to be able to expand it if he could.That would make the shop PERFECT! I visited Superior Automotive today after my splash guard came loose on the NJ Turnpike. I initially called a few dealerships in the area to fit me in for a quick fix but was told they could not get to my car until Monday. As soon as I called Superior, they said they would be happy to squeeze me into their day. Upon arrival, each of the 4 guys I had the pleasure of speaking with were friendly, polite, and very quick with fixing the car. I was in and out in 20 minutes! Best part of it all, they offered their service free of charge! It's not easy to find good quality mechanics these days, and especially ones who do so honestly!! Don't bother with the truck rental, very poor attention to details, late arrival opening, additional staff arriving late and not really caring for customers who have set times to meet and reasons why one sets a pickup appointment and when an establishment doesn't meet says a lot the attention they put into the auto repair. Advise to the owner, hire people who take pride in their job and reprimand for not meeting the services as set.

I recently went to Superior Automotive to have 100,000 mile services done to my car. At the time I was not sure if I had all the other necessary services done at 90,000 miles. Mark was willing to look through all my paperwork to determine what was done and what still needed to be done. Upon arrival Mark sat with me and went over all the areas they would be inspecting and gave me an estimate for what we already knew needed to be done. After they did the full vehicle inspection Superior Automotive called to inform me of a few other areas that should be looked into. They were not pushy with selling me anything. They also gave me suggestions of things that should be looked at during my next appointment. They stayed past their closing time to make sure I got my call back the same day and I also received a coupon to get a free pie from down the street. I will definitely be going back to Superior Automotive for all my car needs.

We loved bringing our car to be serviced here! After going around and around trying to find a place to accommodate us after our back tire blew out, Superior Auto was the only auto repair shop to tell us that they could help us, at a price point that was comfortable for us! While getting the tire fixed they also performed other maintenance on the car and it's never run better! The staff and repair techs are helpful (especially Rob), kind and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be going back and will recommend it to anyone who asks for a car repair center!

Shop was very friendly, I only trust this shop, always concerned and caring for your safety and will priortize your services needed. I blew out a tire and Joel, the service writer, got me one the same day, service was very quick, even made sure everything was safe before I left. This made my day! Went in this morning to get a quote on rebuilding my 03 Sebring Transmission, An older gentlemen asked the young millennial on the computer to assist me and then walked out. The young man finished his phone call about 2 minutes later and then used the computer for about 10 minutes before I walked out and left. Having a customer sitting for 10 minutes with not even so much as, a "hey how are you, just a minute sir, i'll be right with you" is a disgrace. Would never take my cars there after something so simple is neglected. Very Sad... Its a shame because I have two others cars that need work and I am looking for a good, honest, mechanic for me and my wife. Great service...I was there at 8am on a Saturday and my car needed a few new sensors...they had the car fixed and ready to go by 1pm.....I was from out of town so that was huge.....very friendly....prices not the cheapest but you get what you pay for....one thing I would suggest is opening the store earlier...7am would be great

It was 559pm and I got a flat tire. I called them, after finding them by iphone, and they waited for me until past 6pm(their closing time) to arrive. They were quick to help me get the tire repaired. They offered me a plug or patch, but after hearing that it was a rental, suggested the less expensive plug. The owner chatted with me while I waited and was very friendly. The young man who repaired and changed the tire left everything in its proper place, including the jack. I would highly recommend this ethical, friendly, efficient establishment.

I had an emergency involving my door locks that I was afraid would keep me off the road for days. It turned out to be an incredibly simple (although not obvious to me) problem. Mark Haller took one look and fixed it in five minutes. No charge and a few good tips to boot. He's got a customer. Judging from the comments of others, I think Superior is under new owners who know how to run a solid auto service business. Nothing but great ratings for the past several months, with only two negatives from a few years ago.

Helped me out in a tricky situation! I had a VW TDI that I needed to get repaired prior to turning it in for a buyback by VW. Suraj and team patiently listened to understand the situation, advised me on how to repair my car (my insurance company wanted to total it!). Low and behold they sourced all the parts and did what needed to be done with as low a cost as possible. Surpassed my expectations in terms of professionalism, responsiveness and value. Today VW bought back my car with no questions asked (as part of the TDI emissions settlement). Highly recommend them!

Went to 5 other mechanics, before coming to Superior Automotive, who could not diagnose the problem with my vehicle and would suggest things they could try that "might" fix the problem that would cost around $2000. The guys at Superior were able to quickly and confidently diagnose the issue and it cost less than half of what the other places would have charged to "maybe" fix the problem. We were worried we would have to replace our vehicle due to not being able to find a mechanic we could trust to work on it and now our vehicle is running great and we don't have to get rid of our car prematurely! They are also very friendly and do not talk down to you as some mechanics do and I received a full detailed report on the health of my car to my phone while they were evaluating it. I have already started recommending Superior Automotive to my friends.

i went into superior automotive for a oil change about a week ago and while i was there i felt taken cared of, the customer service was something i've never seen before not only that but lower prices compared to other shops in the area, if you need anything done to your vehicle and are unsure on where to go i highly recommend superior.

An hour before leaving for our family vacation, one of the tire valves on our '06 Ford Freestyle was leaking air. Desperate for a fix, I called Superior Automotive and explained our situation. I brought the car in and the valve was replaced within 20 minutes. They also ensured that the other three tires were at the correct tire pressure. Very professional...and a big part of our vacation getting off to a good start.
