These guys get 4.5 stars, rounding down to make a point (always something to improve). About 6 months ago my fiancé got a flat tire. STS said they needed to replace the tire and quoted her over $200! I told my fiancé to go to QDT. They plugged it for 10 bucks! And that was 6 months ago! Can't beat that. Recently I got a flat, unrepairable. QDT was able to get my exact tire in the same day at a cheaper price than I paid when I bought the tires at Sams 2.5 years ago. I questioned the gentleman if I should get two tires to avoid uneven tires, and he said my tires were fine and I only needed 1. Obviously they are not trying to rip me off by selling me an additional tire. Great service, great price, but could work on communicating in a more friendly manner. Also could offer a bit of analysis such as "we looked over all your tires, rims look good, tire pressure good, etc.."". I want to leave knowing I am in overall good shape.

Just bought 4 tires for the pickup truck that we use to haul mulch and let the kids drive to the high school. Got a great price for some decent daily driver tires. Drove in and drove out in 45 minutes. The aesthetics clearly have not changed in many decades but I kind of like the throw back style of the place. Everyone there clearly is in and knows the tire business. They were professional and easy to do business with.... and the best price around for tires with mounting, balancing, etc. I will continue buying my tires at Quality Discount Tire of Randolph. -Not sure what to make of the bad reviews. So different from both my experiences and that of other I know. Have to wonder if it is people put off by the looks of the place.

I've gone here for years. I'm going again today to get a new set (4) tires. I'm having a hard time understanding the negative reviews. I understand customer service is very important in any business. Judging the customer service here, against a canned corporate version of customer service is pointless. If you want overcharged service with a smile and a Hypothetical prorated warranty (that every tire shop gets out of) go to a large tire outlet. If you want fair prices for quality tires come here. This will be my 5th set of tires (going today). I put about 40k miles a year on my car. Switching brands today to Firestone just because. Quoted 107 per tire m/b vs 149 at STS.

I called before heading as i had no app. With such formality they recommend for me to go either way. I bought 4 tires online, brought them in. Waiting room spacious clean plenty of sitting , service was quick tire balance was included (awesome) what blew my mind.... i asked to keep two of the old tires as they were still in good condition, they wrapped them up in a custom bag placed them neatly in my car (they cared not to get the inside wet and dirty. ) insane above and beyond kind of service. Brought my car here with 4 month old tires I bought from them. Brother in law who is mechanic look and said it is the seal around the rim (they had to sand the rim than seal it). I was told any issues bring it back. Seeing as it was the seal I figured they would be loyal seeing as we bring 6 different cars there. Apparently there was a hole with no nail or anything and they plugged it without permission. I came here with no money seeing as I would be taken care of. Last time I’m coming here especially because they don’t offer tire protection for new tires. If you want good tire service and protection from punctures, GO TO THE PLACE ON WEST Rt 10 next to the car wash.

Quality tires? no. Bad customer service? ABSOLUTELY. Bought my tires from Quality Discount Tire and in a years time all four tires were bubbling out. What was Rich's conclusion? I must have hit a curb, there is a scuff on one tire. I didn't see a scuff but he apparently did. And the other 3? He said it was normal. How could it be abnormal for one tire and normal for three? Really? He said there was nothing he could do. I purchased a set of 4 tires for 2 vehicles at the same time and he couldn't do anything!!! I will never be cheated by these crooks again.

I shopped around alot before I went there. I had four tires put on my truck not only did they match the best price I got, THEY BEAT IT! I bought a set of Michelin 245-65R17 and they are not cheap, but Quality Tire in Randolph gave me a great deal. Very Happy.

I went here 2 times. The first time they screwed up on their inventory and I had to wait for them to get a tire from a warehouse. I only overheard this. I was not informed nor did they apologize for it. I was half asleep 1 hour after closing and I can hear them making fun of me while that fat guy eats potato chips behind the counter. I been working doing REal work all day and I have to deal with this?? The second time I came to have 2 used tires put in on my wheels. They told me 15 to 20 minutes. I was there for almost an hour. I took the car home and the next day a tire was flat! I inspected the tires before they installed them and they were no signs of damage at all. I removed the tire and inspected it with soap. That's when I found a new hole on the inner side of the tire! They were probably expecting me to come back, Tell me there's no proof that they did it, and try to get me to buy brand new ones. The hole looked like a nail was shot into it and pulled out. Don't trust these people. I have been there only twice and both experiences were BAD!!! Forgot to mention. They force threaded all my lug nuts on with an impact gun and probably didn't start them by hand. I had to re-thread 2 bolts and all of them had metal shreds on them.

I called around and they had the best price on the different tires I was looking for and they can get any tire you want. My number one choice was even in stock. Had a nine o’clock appointment to put on my winter tires was out in an hour, perfect you’d think. 30 minutes later get on the highway and my steering wheel is shaking like crazy so i call and I’m told there really buy and can i wait till tomorrow. No i cant wait till tomorrow and ruin another day. So i go back at noon its now 1:30 and still waiting because I’m told they were full of water and the tech didnt clean them first. Basically 3 hours to put tires on even with an appointment. You would think since they screwed up the first time they would get the balancing done in inder 2 hrs. The sad part is my wife and i have been going there for years and i will not be returning. The place is a joke. By the way its now 2 and im finally leaving

Bought my tires for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler from these guys and thought I was getting a good service at a good price till my dismay I notice after the fact that these guys stole 10 of my lug nuts and put ratty incorrect lugs on my vehicle which cost me $60.00 to replace! Live and Learn so now they can keep the lug nuts as I will NEVER buy from them again,Hope they Choke on them!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! Check your vehicle if you choose to purchace from these thieves before you drive away!

I've been a loyal customer for 5+ years if not longer, and always recommend anyone when possible because they've always been amazing. Today I needed them for a single tire, havent been in for a while and found the new location. I voiced my happiness with the company and good wishes with the upgraded location to the gent that waited on me, I was positive and courteous giving them praise and attempting jovial conversation but he wasnt phased at any point seemed irritated and just wasnt really nice let alone professional. I called ahead and made sure to be clear with details esp tire size. And was quoted 65 after all fees and taxes cash and carry out the door. My friend called Mavis and Wal Mart and got lower quotes at each but again these are my guys so I passed on the others as usual. I left the tire didnt want to rush them or me and grabbed my little one from school. Came back to a 77.00 bill. Politely voiced my issue. I got... "you must have given the wrong size." "I don't know what to tell you this is what it is" I politely stated that after so many loyal years with them why lose a guy like me and all my referrals for 12 bucks. I paid and quietly left. An older gentleman behind the counter spoke up as I paid clearly irritated if not rudely asking what my issue is and that he would speak to me if I waited. I'm a single dad with 2 young kids widowed a year and a half ago. I had to get the boys fed. And his aggressive body language and tone made it clear He was grudgingly engaging me anyway. I'm as loyal as it gets in all aspects of my life. But I expect basic conversational decency and equally basic customer service. I'm not the angry reviewer. This sucks and I just wish it had gone smoothly. Decided to write this before leaving they're parking lot in Hope's they would at least see things more reasonably but no such luck left identical review on they're site but cc'd here and Yelp figuring mine won't make the cut as 100% of the reviews there are 5 star. I hope this was a fluke before this they deserved every bit of the praise and referrals I've been throwing at them forever. But I did get a decent tire at a half decent price in the end. With Christmas less than a week out Merry Christmas to anyone who read this long thing.

I needed a set of tires for my Jeep. I wanted off-road tires for a good price...The girl knew exactly what tires to recommend and their price beat any price around! When I got there, they got to working on my Jeep right away. They came out and told me my lug nuts were stripped and offered to replace them for $1 each lug nut. For those of you who don't know cars, lug nuts usually cost $3-4 EACH.They replaced them pretty much at cost. That really impressed me! I send my friends and family here and will be a customer for life!

After having my tires replaced I began having trouble with my ABS and traction control. I brought it back and they told me that a sensor was bad and it had nothing to do with what they did. This didn’t make any sense cause for the two years I’ve been driving it I haven’t had a problem with any of these things UNTIL they changed the tires. They tried to make us pay for the sensor but after explaining to them it only acted up after they switched the tires they agreed to take responsibility. After this the customer service was atrocious, the guys up front were very rude and should be ashamed for treating patrons in such a way. Take your business elsewhere.
