I needed a set of more aggressive tires for my new F250. I called (Chuck helped me) multiple times for advice and he answered all my questions without a hard sales pitch. I took the 1 hour drive for them to mount and balance the tires, they were super friendly, the showroom was clean and neatly laid out, they were ready for me as soon as I got there, and the job was done timely. Excellent job all around. I definitely would recommend OK 4WD and I know where I will be going when I decide to level or lift the truck.

Well I called specifically since I saw people mention that you need to make an appointment, the young lady who answered the call told me no appointment necessary just come early. So I drove two hours struggling along since my truck has a fueling issue, just to hear that I do need an appointment. Fantastic. Then the gentleman I was speaking to proceeds to tell me its going to be about 3 weeks until they can schedule time. Wonderful experience. I could understand the trouble if I was there to put some pretty decorations on my truck but I was there to fix a running issue, not add some nonsense chrome wheels to a bling bling jeep. Unfortunately this is a bling bling shop.

These guys are awesome. They had a killer Labor Day sale that I jumped on, then ran into issues with my card company, so after some back and forth with the card company, OK4WD called them directly to try and get it sorted. In the process they told me if there was any reason things didn't get resolved quickly they'd still honor the price. I went into OK4WD looking for a small lift on my Jeep. Not knowing too much about what to get Scott worked with me and gave me tons of ideas about lifts, wheels, tires and options. I dropped my Jeep off and was nervous that it would be what I wanted. Well it far exceeded my expectations. Everything they did looks great. Their work is super quality and they do not cut corners. This is a top rate shop that obviously takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend them for any work you need.

I have had mixed experiences in this store. I had an experience with one employee who was obviously a jeep fanatic. He was very helpful and didn't mind answering or trying to answer some questions for me. Another time I went in to an employee at the desk and asked a question and he totally blew me off. I usually don't go in there to have work done so I can not speak as to the quality of their work. I do most of my own work but I often frequent the store for small parts such as bushings, u-bolts, trailer wiring kits, and other miscellaneous accessories.I have brought my jeeps in there for alignments as normal shops cant seem to figure out how to align lifted jeeps very well. They did a good job and they have expertise in aligning lifted vehicles.

TL;DR: Took 30 days for them to ship my order, had to keep emailing them for updates. Then they shipped with signature required from 21 yr old or older adult?!? Seems like its run by a bunch of incompetents. Placed order on March 16th for an item that appeared to be in stock on their website. Heard nothing for 3 weeks, sent email on April 2nd asking what's going on, was assured it was going to be shipped Monday, April 8th, heard nothing for a week, sent email again asking whats going on a week later, April 15, was finally given a Fedex tracking number, 30 days after placing the order! Here's the kicker... for some reason they shipped it via FedEx with signature required from a 21 year old or older adult! So my son couldn't sign for it. Now I have to waste my time and drive to Fedex to get it myself. Will never shop here again.

I ordered a James Baroud RTT from Portland Or, and have to admit was a little nervous about how smoothly the transaction would go being across the country(especially when I ordered and took delivery of the wrong unit and had to exchange it!). I just got my very first modification on my 4Runner done today. If there were 10 stars, I’d give it to this amazing off road shop! I’m fairly new to off road/overland stuff. One of their staff named Brian Swet was amazingly professional and helpful since the beginning. Like I said I’m fairly new to this truck modification stuff, I had almost too many questions. But Brian took time and answered all the questions I asked and helped me so much with the modifications that I wanted to do. I live in NYC which is 1.5 hour to 2 hour drive. I have more stuff that I want to do with my truck. I am definitely going back there to do more modifications on my truck. This place is NEAT, every single staff are so friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. 2 hour drive is nothing for me to get their professional service! I highly recommend this shop to people who are in off road/overland world! Thanks so much, Brian and OK 4WD team! I’ll be back soon!

Had an issue with installing some Jeep Wrangler ball joints after ordering them from OK4wd. Ken went above and beyond and called me directly to help me out after I emailed him. He then took the initiative, without my asking, to call and worked with the manufacturer and get me a new set of ball joints. WOW!! Great customer service! Gudos to Ken and ok4wd!

Just had the BEST customer service experience EVER. I bought / ordered a hard flip cover. Manufacture sent the wrong size. Of course ok4wd ordered another one - the manufacturer gave them push back. Guess what - the second one was the wrong size as well. So we measured again and ordered again. And again the third one was wrong too. So - the manager and I selected a new one - one more expensive- but did not charge me the difference. They have been very helpful with this purchase and all the other ones as well.

After considerable research and reading many reviews i went with OK4WD for upgrading my stock 12 ruby unlimited with what resulted in a 3 inch AEV lift, smitty bumpers, brake upgrade, bfg 35 inch muds plus other gear. Mike Rausch spent considerable time over many conversations and emails to get me to my final selections. TJ, my mechanic and the rest of the boys and gals were very attentive and helpful. I then spent the weekend with OK4wd at their offroad outing in PA this past April that exceeded my expectation of fun and confirmed my perception that this is a great outfit with good solid people that enjoy their work. Spent considerable time with the owner Jim and Mike on the trip who were more than hospitable. I look forward to more outings with them and getting more gear at the shop!!

As a future JKU owner - still stuck in D1 status in Toledo - I wanted to get an idea about options for lifting the vehicle, costs, 33 vs 35's etc. While I was strictly in question mode Stephanie was awesome. She stated that she was more into suspensions than electronics and she really knew her stuff - even down to the recommendation of front axle modifications to support 35's as I ordered a Sahara with a Dana 30 front axle vs a Rubicon with the beefier Dana 40 axle. We discussed lift kits and my wife's ability to 'climb in' what we could to to be sure it would fit into my garage and she spent a good 30-45 minutes with me. OK4WD should be proud that their people have such passion for vehicles and are so open to teaching. I plan on bringing my JKU to OK4WD to have the lift kit and modification work done there - totally earned my respect and trust - they really were helpful and no pressure at all. Stephanie even advised me that OK4WD is hosting a 4x4 event with a lot of Jeepers on the 16th of October - planning on attending that!

I`v been a loyal customer to OK4WD for almost a decade, when it comes to offroad tires installations or alignments for lifted vehicles, there is no one like them. Last week i had a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed. Nick, the technician, did an amazing job, as a matter of fact he installed my last 2 sets of tires with the same result - fantastic. Bottom line is, if you got offroad rig and you need work done - OK is the place to go. Keep up the good work guys!

I rarely write reviews but after going to this shop for over a year, multiple times, I've been very impressed. Great shop. Great service. Have been to a lot of truck/car shops before. By far the best. Very honest, reasonable, knowledgable, friendly. Mechanics definitely know what they're doing, and do a great job, every time. Shop is clean, sales and service are very friendly and helpful. Service/prices are very reasonable; they dont try and rip you off/ sell you on something that you don't need or won't work well just to make a sale. NYC resident and would rather drive an hour and a half - without traffic - just to get a proper alignment, differential service, and tire balancing / or just a leak fixed - than have some random car shop write up a worksheet - pass it on to some random / possibly incompetent / lazy mechanic who may or may not do the job right the first time. All in all great shop and very pleased. If you like your Jeep and want to have work done right (getting into lift kits, oversize tires, aftermarket armour which gets complicated, even transfer case servicing and road-forcing tires); your local mechanic won't know what he's doing based on experience with jeeps and Jeep/Mopar will charge you double and you'll probably need to turn around to have them re-do what they were supposed to do properly. All in all, very pleased customer and am happy to give them business/ highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good truck/Jeep shop. (didn't see the review below before I wrote this)

This place is ABSOLUTELY the best, recommended by a friend who raves about their service. I figured I would give them a try months ago and their service was outstanding. Move forward to June 2018. New Jeep JL, new items needed to make it stand out. Once again they did a outstanding job. I was treated like family by Ken and everyone behind the counter and in the service area. I actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jim. Talk about a man that is into what he sells and does, and also met his son too and just like his dad, passionate about what they do there. Honestly I am not one to write reviews but in this case they deserve one with the five star service they gave me.

I was thinking of doing a 2" lift on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, but brought it in first for a full check-up, to see what, if any, important maintenance needed to be done first. They diagnosed a problem that hadn't really shown itself yet, so I had my doubts. Within a week, the issue they pointed out needed immediate attention. Needless to say, they fixed it flawlessly. These guys are the best.

Ordered tires for my truck waited 2 weeks to get appointment. Sat there for an hour then was told the tires they just put on were the wrong kind for my truck. Waited anorher half hr for them to take off my truck. Then manger said it would cost more for the right ones. I cancelled my order, you think for their mistake manger would have offered me at same price. Not impressed don't waste your time . Got tires some where else cheaper and in 2 days.

I am an international customer and wanted to order a Rigid light bar in the US. I was grateful that OK4WD also accepts orders from outside the US as long as the money is wired to them. I guess they have experienced too much credit card fraud. When transferring the money internationally, I ran into issues and ended up with a surcharge of $40. When the funds finally arrived at OK4WD, they had run out of stock. The light was on backorder with Rigid and given that the outdoor season is short in my country, I was disappointed having to wait. I then contacted Jim, the owner, directly. He was unbelievable: He was able to pull some strings and found the light that I wanted within a few days. In addition, he packed a cap as well as an emergency kit (light and first aid kit) to help with the transfer surcharge. This really is an amazing company. I initially chose to place my order with this company as I wanted to support a family business rather than an online giant. And I wasn't disappointed. Such personal service cannot be found elsewhere. Thank you, Jim, for working this out and for putting your customers first. Companies like yours have become rare. Keep it up.

After paying Jeff Daniels $900+ dollars to install a 4 inch lift on My Jeep, the Jeep would violently jerk the side after hitting the lightest road imperfection/dip/bump so I call as soon as they open the next day and they give me the most absurd sounding suggestions as to what may be causing the problem.. I new it wasn't even worth continuing the conversation with that shop and just cut my losses... After looking around a bit found OK4wd,and after Talking to Scott for 2 Minutes he had a pretty good idea of what it could be, drove there next day Scott had me in and out in literally 10 Min and after following his suggestion and installing the steering geometry correction kit... Brought my truck in for front and rear Drive shaft builds, and fluid changes in transfer case and differentials. Almost 2 months later it was ready for pick up, within a couple days of driving it, I noticed a leak from the rear differential cover that they had taken off as well as a seal on the transfer case they had replaced. Looking for an answer, my local mechanic finds that when their tech had the differential cover off he failed to notice that the cover was chewed up to the point there was a pin hole punched through it from previous damage of a spider gear losing a tooth. They replaced the seal under warranty which turned out to leak two weeks later again. I also found one of the bolts for the clamp holding the U joint to the yoke (that they replaced) to be finger loose. When I called about any issues, they tell me that they are one of the best places around and that it shouldn’t have happened. I understand that mistakes happen, but this is a business that thinks they’re too good to make mistakes even when confronted. The icing on the cake is that they offered to cover the labor to replace the u-joints, but when I came to pick up the truck, they billed me for labor and then I had wait for half an hour just to remind them that they promised to cover it to make up for their previous mistake. I was looking for a reliable company to help me with my 82 Ramcharger build and was sorely disappointed. To clarify, they did offer to have me bring it in for a third time and re-torque the loose clamp bolts for the u-joint but I declined as both the first time it was in the shop and the second for warranty work were both horrible let downs. For a place that claims to be "The East Coast's Premier Off-Road Shop & Vehicle Outfitters Since 1979" I was embarrassed for Scott when he blamed the first leak from the week old transfer case seal (that also got new yokes) on the fact that I took it mildly off-roading for an hour. The worse part is that when it leaked the second time from the new warrantied replacement seal within a couple days, he brought up the fact that I had previously went off-roading again. They just sucked all around... and definitely don't go during hunting season, I didn't get a single update call from them for the 7 weeks it was there the first time!

I have ordered twice through them. The first order had no communication and took longer than quoted to come in. At the time I didn’t worry too much about it. Things happen. In early October I placed an order for nearly $400. I ordered maxtrax and pins. It’s been two months and these guys just figured out the order had maxtrax on it. Now everything is back ordered, not just the mounting pins. They offered to ship a different color. These are for my wife and she is not interested in what they had available. This is very disappointing. When I said I’d like to cancel the reply was, “thanks”. Nice. Your customer service is very poor. It’s astonishing to realize they apparently thought I just dropped $400 on mounting pins. I’ll just purchase through a competitor in my own state and get free shipping once they’re in stock.

This facility is beyond knowledgeable and the service is outstanding. I was so well informed on what to get for my 2014 Subaru WRX hatchback to get a lift, wheels, tires and suspension. The advice and communication coming from this place, specifically James was top of the line. He pointed me in the right direction saving me money, time, sharing his best knowledge/advice about everything I needed. They go out of their way to help you and they are pretty quick to respond back if you have any questions or concerns. It was a 2hr trip for me to go there but I wouldn't mind the drive. They're trustworthy and extremely helpful. Plus they always have great prices or can point you to the right vendors. I can't wait until my car is done.

Very pleased with the service. We purchased a few accessories for my wife's Jeep, no matter how small the purchase was, the staff has always been very courteous and professional. She just recently brought her Jeep in for a differential "re-gear". The staff member was once again very courteous and professional, and thoroughly explained all the work that would be done along with the benefits. The work was completed on time and once again everything was explained thoroughly. The quality of the work was excellent, we have had no issues. Their prices are fair and competitive. We truly recommend anyone who has installed 35" tires on their Jeep with stock 3.21 ratio gears to stop in to Ok 4WD and let one of their staff members go over the benefits of a Re-Gear. We are so glad we had the Re-gear performed and most importantly performed at Ok 4WD. With their recommended 4.56 gear ratio, my wife''s Jeep Wrangler has regain all of the lost power from the oversize 35" tires plus a little more. Scott Embley and the staff were fantastic! They installed the AEV suspension, wheels, tires, and tire carrier flawlessly! My Jeep looks and drives better then ever. Scott was great, we had numerous emails before the build, he sent me pictures during the build and it was completed when he said it would be. Fairly New to the #JeepLife Didn't know where to customize my Jeep so I called my buddy Mike asked him where can I take my Jeep for some Custom work( Cause he's been in the game for a quite a while) and he said OK4wd!! Talk to Scott E. He'll take care of you. Called Scott E, made an appointment, drove an hour and a half. Got my 4.5" AEV dualsport SC lift kit, 37" Nitto Tire Grappler and My gearing updated to the Yukon 4.88. Picked up my Jeep it looked amazing drove even better from the day I drove it of the lot. But hold on, It's gets even better, I got rewarded an ok4wd gift card and entered a raffle of $1800.(where else would you get that treatment? You tell me). Not only the Service Scott E. gave me was great but the mechanics as well are great. Their work is top notch. That I even made another appointment the following day to get more work done. This place is like Disneyland for Jeep owners unbelievable show room full of lots of toys. love this place. after the dealer messed up my car's exhaust they made it right at a completely reasonable price. since then i have brought both my Silverado SS there along with my Trans Am. i have spent a substantial amount of money there and their prices are extremely reasonable and the service is always top notch with sales and service) if they dont know the answer to my question or if something will work on your car they always call me back and have all the details. if there is an issue with anything they always make it right and i always leave completely satisfied. i have dealt with Scott in service allot and he is always on the ball with coming in at the quoted price for a repair and is always looking to the future for the safety and reliability of your car/truck.
