I went there the fix Death Wobble on my Jeep Wrangler. Not many people know about jeeps other than experienced people like them. I got a quick call assuring it is a minor issue and it only needs some tweaking. They took the effort to drop me back and fixed the problem in about 4-5 hours. Great on pricing. Highly recommended!

I’ve been here for three years and it was a nice and reliable place. However, after a recent service, I found that they only put 4 out of 5 nuts on my wheels. This happens on all 4 wheels and they didn’t ever inform me or ask for my permission. I already drove my car for one week after the service, and will probably drive for another couple of months without these 4 nuts if I’m not lucky to notice this issue. I know it’s hard to keep your work done perfectly. But when one instance happens, I know this place is definitely not reliable any more.

I called up a couple of auto shops comparing prices to change my tires. They have the highest price for tires, and non-negotiate-able. I politely said the other shop offered me such such price, does he thinks they can do a little better or if they have any promotions? ( it's all about the way you say it not what you say). The gentleman responded me " you can just go there". That is not a good customer service. He could have said it nicely, such as " oh I'm sorry this is the best we can offer". Ect Poor customer service. By the way, did you notice the reviews here are mostly from the people who doesn't really write reviews or new to Yelp?

I needed an immediate fix for my sedan (i.e. broken brake line), but Jake provided sound advice for my transportation needs that did not work in his favor financially. He is a knowledgeable, honest worker who takes the time to do what is in best interest of the customer. To me that is above and beyond service.

Honest employees, fair labor rates, and great service. 1st come 1st serve but I've never waited longer than 45minutes for tire replacements or oil changes. Thanks for the call, it shows your commitment to service, much appreciated! Saturday July 20, 2019 - Took my vehicle to have my all seasons switched to my summer tires. Left the shop drove 2.5 miles headed for home and car did not feel right, TPNS alert came on, so, I pulled over and reset, no big deal. Drove another mile or so and TPNS came on again, went to WAWA to free air station and hooked up. EVERLY single tire was inflated improperly... The car is set up for 41F, 38R when I hooked up each tire to proper inflate/deflate, I had a front at 34, a rear at 50, the other 2 were off at least 3-4 PSI I have been to this shop in the past, they are very courteous, professional and priced fairly. I will return, but not pleased with this recent visit.

Freedman Auto and Tire Service has been the family mechanic for over 20 years. We use Freedman for routine maintenance and any other repairs that come up. As far as price, they put 4 Firestone Destination A/T tires on my 2008 Sierra for less than TireRack, and I have a place I can go for a warranty if anything happens with the tires. The staff is friendly and we feel they go the extra mile to take the best care of our vehicles. I have confidently recommended them to friends and have always received positive feedback on their experiences. Trustworthy and Competent are the two things we look for when servicing our cars/trucks and thats not easy to find. Highly Recommend

Went here to get a patch up for one of my tires which had a fast leak. Came here on a Saturday at 8:15, and I was already on a long queue of customers waiting for service. This is to be expected since they do say that this is their most busiest day. The job took about 2 hours, which isn't bad, but my only complaint is that the guys working on my car dirtied my rims.

awful Ibought 2 tires brand new ones for 500 dollars and just a half year one of them fell off when I am still driving! To add-on, yes the owner did help with the condition of the tire as he said in the reply. And I’m thankful for that, but a few facts I need to clear, first of all I don’t know much about the car but I do know physics, and I do know what happened—— if the tire went flat and I kept driven for so long for the rim can actually cut the tire, The rim would have been totally damaged, but it was not. I did went to another tire retailer for inspections as the owner suggested, they agree it would be a tire explode. Second of all, The owner keep mentioning the tire he put on my car was a new one which is not the fact, because new tires have little needle shaped rubber on the side and the one he installed on my car doesn’t have that. Third of all, I went to the store this Monday and the owner mentioned he will contact the Yokohama and call me on Tuesday, I didn’t hear back. Instead, google is the one who tells me there is a “feedback “. How ironic is that huh? So you’re the one offering me to go with the not new tire, and didn’t call intentionally and started to complain about it online when you can totally call and solve the problem? Anyways, I will totally call and solve the problem, please this time do not hang up on me.

The service at this shop is exemplar. The guys provide a detailed explanation of everything that needs to be done. This shop is on a first come first serve basis so I suggest not to come on a busy day. I have been coming to this shop for years. They have worked on my Murano, Rav, Jeep and now Elantra. Their work is honest and won’t make you spend money on fixing unnecessary things. I have been to other shops where they take advantage of women that aren’t knowledgeable in cars and they do not do that here. You can trust them. There is free WiFi available while you wait, coffee, tv, a cell phone charging station, book and magazines to help you kill time.

I’m disappointed, Freedman :( I’be been here before because of the tire pressure. They help me adjusting the tire pressure without charging me anything. They left me good impression. Last time my friend got a free engine check in Freedman, so this time my engine alert lights up, I come here directly for help. However, this time, the crew just take away our key and do the examination for less than 10 minutes and tried to charge me for 1 hrs fee for 108 dollars. I ask him why they charge me 1hr labor for 10 minutes work, and they said they have done the mechanical check so they have to charge me for minimum 1hr labor fee. I ask them why they do the charged examination without my authorization . He threw up his hands and told me it’s done and I had to pay for that 108 dollars. Well, they left me no choice but paid to take my car. I think this might be the last time I pay a visit to Freedman

My trunk was leaking, and they gave it a thoroughly check. A guy named Jacob gave me thoughtful suggestions, showed me the problem next to my car and helped me analyze every possibility even it was raining heavily. What a great experience at Freedman! I am so happy a friend at work recommended I go there for replacement tires. I called hoping to get an estimate and figured it would only be a ballpark estimate. The quote was right on and no hidden fees as promised. Carl was so helpful that he went out of his way to make sure he had the tires I needed for my vehicle in stock. And since I didn't even know what size my tires are he was able to instruct me how to find the information on my tire to give him over the phone and did so without making me feel dumb for not knowing which I really appreciated. I only had time on my lunch break to get my tires replaced so when I popped in, even though it was clear they were busy, Carl assured me they had time for me and they were even done with my car faster than the estimated time. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend Freedman Auto Service to others.

Wow - Freedman has great customer service. I needed new tires so I was looking online for the best rated and local dealers. I found Freedman and called to see if they had what I was looking for in stock. The owner, Jake Freedman, answered the phone and politely asked if he could call me back because he was with a customer. Wow! I appreciate that he gave preference to the in-person customer over a random caller, me, because this is what I like when I'm in a retail shop. He called me back quickly and gave me information on the three tires he would recommend and the pros and cons of each. Wow again. Based on this one call, I decided to give him my business. When I went into the shop the next day, his guys took my information and started work quickly. Jake let me know what other services might be needed on my car and provided me with his recommendation on when to get these. It was not a hard sell at all -in fact, there was not one thing on the "this will need to be done soon" list that he said needed to be done today. Based on this experience, I believe Freedman to be an honest auto shop. I'll be back.

one of the worst mechanics I have gone too. I took my car in twice and will never go back again. First time they changed a belt on my car. It fell off a mile down the road. The second time I brought it in because the car died. It needed a new alternator and then I had to get a tie rod replace that had nothing to do with the repair. Dishonest mechanics.

Went to get my tires rotated and balanced. I was told that the loud vibrating issue from the front right wheel at high speeds wasnt a tire problem but a bad wheel bearing. Well, I went to a second mechanic and they replaced the entire wheel hub (including bearing) that I bought, and the problem persisted. I went to a Mavis to see if balancing and rotating fixed it. Sure enough that did. I guess the point is Freedman claimed to have balanced and rotated when in fact they did not (or did improperly).

Had my serpentine belt replaced about a year ago by these guys. Excellent service. Tony was my my rep getting me all set up. He was great calling me later and explaining everything that was going to take place. I just dropped of my 2009 Mazda CX9 this morning for an alternator and rear rotors/pads. Again, great communication explaining the job to me. Will go back again for tires soon.

Awesome guys over here. I hit a bad pothole on the turnpike and got a flat last night. Called this morning and brought it in. They worked with my aftermarket insurance company and replaced the tire and gave me the proper paperwork to submit for reimbursable. They even topped up the spare tire with air before putting it away. In and out in less than 2 hours, insurance crap included.

But to my surprise the owner carl called me next day and made sure my problem was adressed. These guys really take customer satisfaction seriously.They custom ordered a tire for me. I purchased new wheels and tires from TireRack a little over a month ago, and I decided to ship my order to Freedman for installation based on the glowing reviews. Everything arrived at Freedman promptly, and I called to make an appointment to have the TPMS sensors synced to my car and the wheels/tires mounted. (Freedman didn't reach out to me to let me know my purchase had arrived.) Freedman doesn't make appointments, as it turns out -- service is first come, first served -- so I stopped by after work to get the work done. I had to wait a bit, but not too long. I left happy with the service provided... until my TPMS light came on a few days later after my first lengthy drive. I checked the pressures myself (all four corners were exactly where they should be) and then returned to Freedman. I explained the issue to the gentleman at the counter and waited while they looked into it. About a half an hour later I was called up and told that the work was done. No explanation for the issue was offered, so I asked. I was told that the sensors weren't "set" (or "calibrated", or something along those lines) during the first visit, although that they thought that work was done last time. No apology was offered for having to return to the shop. I was a little annoyed, but happy to have the car back and eager to resume breaking in the new tires. A few days later, again, on my next lengthy drive, the TPMS warning light returned. At some point it doesn't make sense to keep returning to the same shop if they're not completing the work properly. I decided to eat the money paid for syncing the sensors, buy an ECU tool that could complete the task, and attempt the work myself. I had to get in touch with TireRack for the sensor serial numbers, and the tool was not at all cheap, but the sensors are now properly synced and the TPMS light is gone (after several lengthy drives). I should note that the serial numbers I read from the ECU (with the tool I purchased) did not at all resemble the serial numbers on the installed pressure sensors. Not even close. I have no idea what happened on Freedman's end. My wait time during both visits wasn't bad at all, and the customer service was passable, but the bottom line is that the work wasn't done. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop even for very minor work. EDIT: While I appreciate the fact that the owner took the time to respond to my review, their response only underscores the issues with their service and lack of attention. The TPMS sensors were brand new and pre-installed on the wheels/tires shipped from TireRack. The age of my vehicle and the battery life of the sensors is completely irrelevant. What is relevant is the unique ID assigned to each new sensor, and none of those NEW numbers were uploaded to the vehicle before I left Freedman. I'm assuming that's what the owner means by the sensors "relearning", but it wasn't done here -- or at least not done correctly. There are absolutely no issues with a defective sensor here; the TPMS light has not returned after a few hundred miles of driving AFTER I personally uploaded four completely different sensor ID numbers (obtained from TireRack) to the ECU. It's frustrating to see the proprietor emphasize a complimentary review of their work on my return visit when it's clear that the work was never done right. Either time.

The only mechanic I've ever used who actually called me a couple days later to make sure my car was fixed to my satisfaction. Three hours later, work never got done and asked for the keys and took it to another repretable place. Would not suggest automotive work being done here if you are promised a specific time and they can't follow simple protocol regarding their own standards and procedures.

I wasn't willing to leave a text review but since I surprisingly saw there was a question left by owner asking me why it was 2 star, I would like to explain a bit more. I came here about 2~3 years ago twice. Both to charge my tire with air. Every time I told the guy that my TPM light is on and I want to charge the tire with air(That's exactly what I said, "charge my tire", because I didn't know I can do it myself at gas station for $1), this place would like to check all my four TPM and charge me $24.5 labor fee, which I didn't ask for. Besides, the second time I came here, this place charged me another 30 dollars(approximate, It has been too long) fixing a leaking on my tire WITHOUT ASKING ME. Although the first visiting may caused by my confusing statement, the second experience is totally unacceptable. So, Goodbye Freedman and Never see you again.

Respond Freedman: [Google Won't Let Me Respond To Original] Like I said in my review I have been going to your establishment a couple of times. I was very satisfied the few times i when. Everything was good and I was happy. The last time I when they should me that there was a pipe problem and instead of replacing the whole thing it would be better to just weld a part. The was around $250. I did not mind paying the money because I felt that they were looking out for me by just changing the part. Now the thing that rub me wrong and the reason why I won't be returning is because right doing the welding job the mechanic told me there was another part that right in front that needed to be weld and it was going to cost me approximately the same amount. That's the reason I don't like it. You just fix a problem and instead of fixing both of them together you give me a separate build. I change the starts because at least you fix the first part of my car. Also I don't mind you sharing my business with you guys but other people might find it rude especially because I didn't allow you guys to.share it Original: I gone to freedman a couple of time because of the positive reviews I saw on google but last time I visited they acted greedy. I had to get a pipe change because it broke. They gave me a quote and I paid it. Then right after they finish the mechanic tells me that there is another pipe that needs to be fix. It was literally the same pipe just a different part of it. Instead of doing both they wanted to charge me for two different pipe. It was going to cost $500. Just be aware. They were nice at first but once you get comfortable it over

I've been to this shop several times and everytime I've gone the guys there have all been very helpful and friendly. The very first time I went I was inquiring about new wheels because my metal wheels have a slow leak where it meets the tires. Other places told me I would need to get a new set of wheels but Freedman told me that I just needed to have them sealed around which worked out great and saved me money. I've also purchased new tires and had my air filter changed there and they always provide great service. I would highly recommend them.

Just left Freedman tire. I do not leave many reviews but I was extremely impressed with their service and in particular Tony, the knowledge and time spent by Tony making sure I got exactly what I was looking for, he made my purchase extremely stress free and smooth. This was my third visit. very experienced staff. I went to get my exhaust pipe leak to get fixed, they inspected and popped it back in place and fixed the problem , did not charge a single penny.
