A couple of weeks ago, I was driving on i-287. Suddenly, my car broke down and had to be towed to an auto repair shop. Upon arriving at Brunswick Tire & Auto past closing time, I was greeted by Jaime, who was kind enough not only to listen to me story, but reassure me he'll do the best job to fix my car. Jaime, kept me updated throughout the next day via text and picture messages on the status of my car. Finally, I even paid less money than I was first quoted. Overall, I found my experience with Brunswick Tire & Auto was really good, and with Jaime (The Owner) being a nice and friendly mechanic, I have no hesitation in recommending Brunswick Tire & Auto.

Turns out it was a minor fix, and get this: they fixed it for me NO CHARGE! I have to start this review by saying a HUGE THANK YOU to Jaime and the staff at Brunswick Tire and Auto! Our daughter is a freshman at Rutgers. After a lot of thought we allowed her to bring her jeep to campus after winter break ~ what could go wrong? Well, after only one week on campus, she went to take her jeep out for a ride, only to find she had a flat tire ~ and the tire had a nail in it. We needed to get the tire pumped up to be able to drive it to a shop BUT, we are an hour and 45 minutes away in South Jersey. No help was available at Rutgers so we searched the internet for a shop in the area and THANKFULLY found Brunswick Tire and Auto. We called and explained the situation and guess what?!?!?! Jaime came out to the campus and pumped up the tire! My daughter followed Jaime back to the shop. They kept her safe and even offered her snacks while they repaired the tire!! The repair was completed at a very fair price. They went above and beyond to help our daughter. We are now more at ease with her having her jeep on campus knowing that Jaime and Brunswick Tire and Auto are there for us. Thank you again for giving us peace of mind. DAWN

This is the first time ever I can say I had a great experience with a car repair shop. Jamie and his team (felt more like family) took time to explain everything to me, took pictures, videos and even spoke to my dad over the phone to explain to him what was going on. Everyone was accommodating and because I was there so long (I had several things to get done) they made sure I did not go hungry and was able to pick my daughter up on time from camp. He told me what I needed to keep an eye on and didn't have me get things done that didn't need to be done at this time. I will definitely be back with my car as well as my oldest daughters. I am very pleased with the car service (knowledgeable and fair pricing) as well as the customer service (pleasant, clean, amenities, surprise in the console ).

Had tires, brakes, and an oil change done. They were extremely accommodating and got me in the same day I called. They had great communication throughout and made sure I was informed about everything they were doing to my car. I had to leave and they texted me updates throughout the day to keep me updated. Excellent customer service! Jamie (the owner) gave me a ride home after asking me if I have other things I need to do back home since my car repairs will take several hours and then he picked me up again after my car is done so I can test drive it as well. He will also personally check your car by driving it around once you come in, so he can assess what needs to be done. The estimates given to me over the phone were the same amount they asked from me when I came to the shop. They definitely gained a loyal customer in me.

I was driving to work on 18 when my front brakes failed. It was 7:30 in the morning and I had no idea where to get my truck taken in New Brunswick so I secured my truck, walked to my office and found Brunswick Tire and Auto on the web. Their ratings looked great and the shop was close to my job. I had the truck towed. Jaime went over everything with me and then gave me a lift back to my office. They managed to get new rotors, calipers, etc on the front and clean and service the rear as well as flush the brake lines in time for me to go home on a Friday. They are friendly and great at what they do and go above and beyond.

I think this is my new permanent mechanic. I read the rest of the reviews and they looked good so I decided to try it. The customer service here is great. I told them my issues (the dealership told me I needed new breaks, and rotors and a new caliper, but of course wanted a LOT of money to fix it). They double checked everything (the caliper did NOT need to be replaced), gave me a price (which was less then half of what the dealership wanted). Everything got done in a good amount of time. They even dropped me off and picked me up (I was in Robert Wood Johnson at the time). They're a small business, who are doing what small business should be doing if they want to be successful - good customer service & reasonable prices. If you're looking for a repair shop, def. check these guys out.

I gave Brunswick Tire & Auto a try after reading the many positive reviews here and they did not disappoint. The shop is tidy and clean and located on a pleasant side street. I was given a detailed estimate and explanation for the work to be done and kept informed while my car was in the shop. The repairs were done professionally and all interactions with the staff were friendly. They gave me a ride back to my apartment while my car was being worked on and even washed it after the work was done.

Brunswick Tire and Auto is the best car repair shop l've been to. Jaime and the staff are very professional and honest and are the ones you can really trust. Our car broke down on NJ turnpike near exit 9. Not very familiar with the area we checked the map and found Brunswick Tire and Auto has the highest customer rating and close by. So we went and left the car there and really didn't know what to expect. It turned out the reviewers were correct! They checked the car and explained everything in detail. Jaime even texted pictures to us while the repair was in progress. There was a metal pipe that was no longer available, we agreed they could replace with a heat resistant rubber hose. However, during the day Jaime told us "I changed my mind. I'll hand-make a steel pipe for you so it can last longer." As a result, Jaime, Yana and their staff had to work an extra hour and a half after 6 pm to get the work done so we could get the car back that day. We offered to pay more than the agreed price but Jaime refused to accept. All in all, it was a great experience with Brunswick Tire and Auto. I would highly recommend anyone who needs car repaired or service to go to Jaime.

From routine oil changes to a (hopefully) one-time exhaust system replacement, Jaime and his team have always provided prompt, professional, and honest service. Brunswick Tire and Auto helped me out greatly when I found out that both my front and rear passenger side tires both had nails. During my first visit, they actually could not help me because I did not have the wheel lock key to get the tires out but they were very nice and explained things to me step by step so that I could know what needed to happen. After getting a replacement wheel lock from my dealer, I immediately took my car back to Brunswick Auto to get the tires fixed up and was very pleased with the job they did. They did not try to trick me or overcharge me, they gave me a fair price with a straight forward explanation. A side note is that I sent a friend of mine a picture of me in the waiting room and she recognized the place immediately! She also said that one time she got a flat and was very worried but Jaime took great care of her and made sure she was ready to hit the road. Overall a great group of people to go to, I would recommend them to all my friends and as long as I live in the New Brunswick area, I know where my go-to mechanic is at!

This place was fantastic. I got a flat tire the day before and brought my car in to see about getting it repaired/replaced. Jaime was helpful, friendly, and informative: he gave me repair options without being pushy or aggressive (which I’ve come to expect when getting automotive work done.) I ended up needing two new tires, and the process took exactly the amount of time Jaime said it would--another pleasant surprise compared to other shops I’ve been to! The entire experience was more than painless: it was pleasant. I came in on my work lunch hour, and was back at work on time with a fixed car…AND with the bag of candy the shop left in my car. Stopped by after having a flat tire on 18 North. not from around here but the google reviews led me to travel to Brunswick Tire and Auto. I was not disappointed. They have professional staff, offered coffee, decent prices. It felt like I was in my own hometown although I wasn't. They were kind enough to put my spare in the trunk for me, unlike most places that shove it were it fits. Then after having a really bad day and finally getting my car on the road, I find a small bag of mints on my console and a thank you for my business. It was the sweetest gesture to go along with excellent service. I highly recommend their services. :-)

My experience with BT&A was awesome. I recommend them to anyone who has a need for a solid, honest, hard working and transparent auto repair professional. My experience started with a brake failure and a tow. BT&A not only accommodated us by receiving the car after hours but they also took care of the problem the very next morning. From the very first phone conversation and text message I was convinced we had the right team working for us. BT&A keep me appraised thru out the entire repair process. They took the time to explain everything to me as well as my daughter ( the primary driver of the car while away at college). All repairs and repair options were discussed before any action was taken. Estimates were reasonable and in the end, after working some magic, BT&A was able to bring the entire job in under budget. In addition to the repair BT&A conducted a safety check before giving the car back to my daughter. The car, an older Subaru with approx 150K miles on it, hasn't sounded or driven so smoothly in a long while according to my daughter. Thanks BT&A!!!

I went here for my first oil change and was wary of extra fees and being pressured for unwanted services, but instead was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and honest people who worked there. I was assured that they wouldn't tack on any extra charges without my permission, and the lady at the desk was very informative and patient when it was clear I didn't know anything about car maintenance. The office I waited in during the very reasonable service time was clean, and the environment very comfortable. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this place.

After having to return because of a small issue with one of the new tires and noting that I was in a hurry because of a meeting I had scheduled, the owner personally drove out to pick up a new tire for me. They also didn't charge me to replace the faulty tire. If that isn't customer service I don't know what is. install one of the pedal pad，the brake one on the left in picture. OEM pedal pads installing labor at dealership was $20/2installed . Here I got a super price of $62.3 /1 pedal installed. And the pictures showed what we got. The pedal was NOT installed, they just PUT it on. I'm not sure if you can see a gap between shinny pad and the metal body of brake pedal. Which should be Embedded. The rubber bolt on the behind was not properly used. Guess what happens when you need hitting brake hard? It can be a crimminal case. What is more, a crack was installed properly on door panel, and it's free!! The whole work continues from 8:30 to 12:50. It must be really hard to do so. That's my personal experience. BTW , I came here cause it's highest rating on google in this area. Last time I came for tyre rotation , it took $26 and performed great. cannot understand how the experience is so different from other guys, can you show some image for your 5 stars? What magic have you got on your cars? The owner Jaime was extremely courteous and patient and told me the family has been in auto repairing business for 40 years. OH. Can you get the job done with 40-year experience, and 3 times cost as dealership , maybe without make a hole on panel, and in less than 3 hours?

Went here with my 92 Thunderbird knowing I had a problem with my suspension but I wasn't sure exactly what. They did a great job detailing what was wrong, how much it was going to cost, and helping me out due to the fact that I was unprepared for the final cost. Overall work done: Tie rod inner (both sides) Tie Rod outer (passenger) alignment 4 tires + tire cleaning service all for a little under $600 I'll be going back with my newer Tbird as soon as I can get the money together.

Jay was extremely honest with what I needed to get fixed and when. From what I figured out from the invoice, the labor rate is about half that of a dealership and it is fair because they work quite fast. A front brake pad and rotor full set replacement cost me about the same as what the dealership charged me last time except the dealer only did a resurfacing. They will give you repair suggestions on a print out so you can take it home and research it yourself. All in all, they're honest and charge a fair price.

I went online to find a good reliable mechanic because most of them usually try to rip you off but once I read all the good reviews I wanted to give it a try and I’m glad I did! They’re very nice. The girl at the front desk, and the owner were really helpful and understanding! Now I know where to come next time I have a problem. I would deff recommend this place to anyone. First fixed my car a year ago when it was overheating, now they fixed an issue with the oil light for HALF of what Jiffy Lube quoted me (went there for an oil change and asked out this issue since I had a coupon, now I won't even go there for that!), both times the staff were extremely respectful, communicative, and explained everything that was wrong, what needed to be done immediately, what was recommended, etc. and they remembered me even though it had been a year since I had needed any work done (I don't drive much). And they leave mints in your car!

After many failed attempts and false information I received from someone who claimed to know what they were doing, I landed at Brunswick Tire and Auto. At BT&A My fears were put to rest. I received a true diagnosis along with proof of the answer via diagnostic testing. Recently, I took my vehicle to Brunswick Tire & Auto for new tires and brakes. Prior to this, I was used to taking my cars to the makers, alternating with local repair companies depending on convenience. However, after servicing my car with Jaime and his team from Brunswick tire and auto, I no longer will take my vehicle to any other companies. Jaime was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything to me in details as to what my car needs, ordered all parts promptly and did an amazing job with my car. I went to Brunswick Tire and Auto at the end of November 2018 after my car slipped and bumped into a curb during the bing snow storm around that time. I had been to a Mazda dealership that quoted me 2k minimum but Jamie was able to give me a detailed diagnosis and take my budget into account while keeping me safe and my car driving straight for less than half that price. It has been 3 months now and my car is still doing well! I wanted to wait to leave a review to make sure the results would last. Their customer service is top notch. My civic’s Tpms light is on and I went this place for a check up. Took about 30 mins and didn’t charge a dime for resetting the sensor for winter temperature change, owner Jamie was professional and generous. HONEST shop. I took my car there because it had a screw in the tire. They removed it, water-tested it for leaks, and gave it back to me when they discovered there was no issue with the car. Didn't charge me for the time spent checking. That's amazing testament to integrity for an auto shop and I'll be back for sure in case I need any future work done.

Although the bill was a little more than what I had expected, the car required all the changed Jaime suggested.
