I have been doing business with Tim Graham for 25 years. Why? Because he is honest, fair priced, and competent. He does not do come on advertising. He offers what he feels you need to solve the problem. He does not get the car on the rack with a cheap ad and "discovers things" to add. What more can ask other than honesty, fairness, and competency. Oh yes, warnings for the future as information to you. He does that, too, and no charge.

My husband and I have taken our cars to Tim, owner of Graham Tire and Auto for many years. He is trustworthy and he goes out of his way to meet all of your needs. You never have to worry about being taken advantage of like many places. Tim will only address what is absolutely necessary. Quality work at a reasonable cost. There have been times they were incredibly busy and in a pinch Tim still fit me in. It is aways busy and although their parking lot is small they waste no time shifting cars around. Also I have to mention, the delicious free coffee, regular and flavored and a vast array of great magazines to peruse. If you want to get some fresh air while you wait, you can just walk across the street to the Lobster Boat or do some shopping in the plaza! I give 5 out of 5 stars *****!!

too bad I don't feel comfortable going there, it's so close and convenient. I had called ahead specifically for an appt for something short/small and specific and when I go for my appt I was met with less than courteous person, and asked to leave it for the day. I say of course not and they seem reluctant to take it but do. I left truly not confident of what was reported back as an issue and will never go back there again. This isn't the first less-than-desirable encounter there but never again. I also work at the hospital right behind the garage and will be completely honest with my many co-workers about my experiences.

I stopped by today to have an small tire for walk behind lawn mower mounted. I first spoke with an older man who was nice and we talked about the 1/4-inch damage to the wheel and how the tire was being used. He said it should be ready tomorrow. Great, I thought. Then the man next to him looked over at the wheel and said it was damaged, when I mentioned what me and first gentleman discussed, he appeared disgruntled, made a snide remark, and began laughing with a customer joining it. We spoke for all of 15 seconds and no other solution was suggested. I completely respect someone not wanting to taking a job, that's the business's right after all. What I don't respect is someone that mocks you with another customer laughing after a ~15-second conversation. That was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I had a much better experience at Sullivan Tire. The tire was successfully mounted and works great!

Sincerely had wished this place would be a good place to go but after a few times going there, I will certainly bring my business elsewhere. I'm more opt to give somebody the benefit of the doubt but after doing that and trying Graham's Tire again, it is clear that they seem completely uninterested in gaining my business. After a few questionable and less-than-professional encounters, absolutely never again will I go there with any of my, of family's cars. I'd love nothing more than to say things went great there and recommend them but I can not and would not recommend them at all.

When I noticed my tire was low, I had it pumped up and continued to drive on it. In fact, I drove 100 miles from NH to the South Shore on a rainy night. The next morning, uncertain about that same tire, I brought it into Graham TIre and Auto, without an appointment, and they fixed my tire (for a pittance) telling me that not only had I picked up a screw, but the seal on the tire was compromised. With great relief, I am happy to be back in the neighborhood where this friendly, fair and reliable business can keep my car in good condition and allow me the confidence to drive my ten year old car all over New England.

Today I had a problem with a tire that I purchased a few months back and he took me in right away to replace the tire, free of charge, due to their warranty program that is in place with every tire sold. Last night I got a flat in my 2 day old car across the street from Graham tire. The shop was closed but Tim walked over to the gas station across the street, drove my car to his shop, open the shop, and fixed my tire. Needless to say I was more than grateful for his exceptional kindness and professional service. Tim at the front desk is friendly and has great stories. He will tell you the best way to fix your car even if it means they charge you less. It's a good location to grab a coffee or shop while you wait. I wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else!

I find it very unfortunate when I have to write a poor review, but I certainly do not want anyone else to deal with the type of poor service I just experienced. I am new to the Exeter area and I was looking for a place to take my three vehicles. I came upon Graham via online reviews and they looked promising, so I decided to give them a call and spoke with Mark whom seemed pleasant and understanding, so we scheduled an appointment for Monday 10/31/2016 for a diagnostic / estimate on my older Subaru. I heard nothing about my vehicle Monday and gave until Tuesday afternoon 4:00pm and decided to give a call about when I could pick the vehicle up and I was told that the vehicle had not been looked at yet which was somewhat confusing to me as I had an "appointment" Monday morning the day before. I inquired why the vehicle had not been looked at and was given some excuse about them being busy and some of the technicians were attending classes, so I asked when it would be done and I was told later in the week which was a vague answer at best. I waited until Thursday late morning 11/3/2016 and decided perhaps the simple diagnosis was complete and I could schedule to pick it up and or have them fix what was wrong, but to no avail as they still had not looked at the vehicle. I spoke with Mark and again inquired what is taking so long and why nobody from the organization was communicating the delay and what I could expect as a timeline for completion, where I again received excuses of he was out of the office and they were very busy. Mark informed me that he was working on writing up the estimate so I waited for the callback on Thursday. I finally called Friday afternoon 11/4/2016 and Mark sighed after my inquiry of it's completion, put me on hold and came back to explain my car was on the lift, indicating it was not actually looked at yesterday and no estimate was actually being prepared. My response was two fold: (1) I asked him to please stop any further diagnosis and told him I found the whole experience unacceptable (2) That I would be coming the following day Saturday 11/5/2016 to pick up the vehicle and pay them for their time to which not much of a reply was given. I work in an industry where customer service is paramount and personally expect honesty, fairness and communication when dealing with any organization, and unfortunately I received none of those things at Graham Tire & Auto. They were unapologetic, uncommunicative and seemed as though earning new customer business was not a priority to them. I write this long review to warn anybody thinking of going to this organization that they may want to think long and hard about it if they share any of the same expectation as a consumer as I do. I find it unfortunate, however I have no issue bringing my business and expectations to another shop.

I actually waited 3 weeks to post this, to give some time to go by and not post with anger still in my mind. So 3 weeks ago, I called and asked if they do free estimates, Was told yes they do, So I scheduled my camero to go in at 8 am the next morning. I had a sound coming from what i thought to be possible warn brakes. I dropped my Z28 off and asked that before they started any work, to please call me when they knew what the cost would be to do the repair. 5 pm came and no call. Not gonna lie, i thought this was a little to long for just a inspection and figured they must have been short handed. So the next day at noon, still no call. I called down and they told me they where just pullin it in.. They would call me within a hour or 2. So at almost 5 pm, i am called and told that i had a issue with my rear differental. I had no clue what that even was, (not a mechanic, but do know a few things about autos) I ask the price to repair and Im told 2 grand at a min. My mouth dropped. No matter what at that price, i would be getting another estimate.. no way would i drop 2 grand on a car with 60 k worth of miles. I tell them, i will be in to pick it up tomorrow, I get there at noon time, and i walk in and they handed me a bill for 130 dollars. So much for that free estimate.. I paid it, and took my auto.. and i had my z28 towed to another shop, well they did the same thing, but 2 hours after i dropped it off, they called and told me, what was wrong. the price to fix and asked me how i wanted to proceed. 500 for the entire fix. No charge for inspecting the issue. An had it done by that evening. I honestly waited to post this.. to make sure that the anger i had, and still have was justified.. Not only did it take them 3 days to do what took the other local shop 2 hours.. they charged me when they told me it was free, then on top of that they quoted me 1500 over the actual cost to fix it. I feel they could not do the job, or did not want too, so they bid it up so high, i had no chance but to take it out of their shop. A simple sir, the damage is not something we usually do but here are a few places that can.. Not gonna be in business much longer if they continue this type of customer service. I would have given them a negative score if possible.

Not recommended! Very disappointed with the service. You have to call to see when your vehicle is finished being repaired. Very expensive. Staff was not friendly and had trouble answering simple questions. There are other places in the area that offer much better service for more reasonable prices!

Went in at noon time to get my tires changed, was told it would take an hour and a half. Waited for three hours in the waiting room and no one said a word to me. They pulled my car into the garage at 3, so I leave cause I’m a little pissed off. Get picked up and go home. I wait till 5 and knowing they close at 5:30 I call 6 times before someone picks up, only to be told they entered my number in wrong and my cars finally ready. (They confirmed my number when I walked in at noon so I know he was passing the buck and lying). Will never return, could have at least been told they were running behind. An hour or two I get but 5 hours...no way.

Pros: Good communication Good website Open on Saturday Cons: Charged me $55 to fill up air in my tires and didn't bother to check the tire pressure light. They had to redo it when I came to pick it up, and I'm not confident they filled them to the right pressure.
