Craig was extremely rude. Had my car break down and barely made it to their parking lot when it died. I went in and asked for help just to push it in to the garage. I just needed a couple of guys and we could have done it. He refused to help and just said I would have to pay to get it towed! I thought he was joking but he was serious. They have a tow truck there. I went ahead and had him tow it. The next day and 1200$ later they said it was my fuel pump. I picked it up and it died again in a hospital parking lot. When I called Craig, he said he would have to charge me to tow it in again. He said he fixed what was wrong with my car & if I had a new problem, then he would have to charge me again! HATE that place!

American Auto and Tire is the worst auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. I paid them $1,577.86 for repair on my 2008 Pontiac G6 for repair on my car power steering. They went to the junk yard and replaced the parts and charged me for the repairs. I cannot drive my car now because my car power steering is not working because they used old parts to repair They are a Fraud.... See you in Court!

Don't ever go to any General Mechanic, EVER. The mechanic at this shop posses less than adequate knowledge. I spoke with the Mechanic before and after my girlfriends VW Jetta 1.8t overheated, and he acted like working on a VW was really difficult work. They charged $600 to take the head off.... outrageous. I have been working on VW's for 10 years and have recently had back surgery, I have taken cylinder heads off of old school 16v motors in less than 2 hours. And I have built 2 1.8t motors, they are NOT difficult to work on. Go to a specific shop that works on your Make of Vehicle. Never take your car to a general mechanic, they overcharge, and are not qualified to work on most vehicles ( which is why they work at a general shop b/c they could not pass/meet the standards of specific vehicle manufacturer )

Went in 3 times for my A/C to be fixed. They "fixed" 3 different things, and $1600 later, it still isn't blowing cold. They called me after each visit and tried to offer me a 10% off next service in exchange for a positive Yelp review. Beware! Their positive reviews are probably not honest reviews!

I would never take my car to this place. They have zero customer service. I took my mothers car to have air put in a tire. They empty, not one customer. I asked if they could put air in my tires. The manager answers with “ yes, for $5.” Are they kidding me? What happen to customer service.

I went to this place on a Sunday. They weren't busy because bays were empty. I asked to check on a slow leaking tire, and was told $40 just to check. This place is definitely a rip off. It doesn't even deserve a single star.

i had no choice but to go to American Auto because my aarp aaa membership would have charged me $200 to tow to my preferred mechanic. But i was very pleased with their price and service since i didnt trust anyone but my regular mechanic. Paul tried extensively to put me at ease and after i received the price , i was satisfied. Believe the reviews!!! This place couldn’t fix a car if there friken life depended on it, they will sell you un needed work because of their inability to know how to diagnose a car, so their way is lets just replace the whole system!!!! The owner of this place is a friken joke!!! Worst shop in Vegas! Buyer beware!

Liars! Told me that my routine check included battery check. For years I was mislead! Came to find out that my battery has never been checked all those times that I brought the car to them for service! Go some place else.

Lee and the mechanics fix my 98 Cadillac they found the problem of my leak in my coolant system explain that my pipes rotted out.Lee found the parts to fix it in a day which was important to me because I am caregiver for my 94 yr old mom and need my car for doctor appointments.He quoted me sprice which was fair and when I picked it up that's the price I paid. I would recommend this shop to my friends and family .

CROOKED. I took my car in for repairs. After over $2000 in repairs it was still not working! Same day, didn't even get my car home and I was stranded on side of the road with the SAME problem that I took it in to get repaired. Do yourself a favor and use a different shop.

I want to highly compliment this shop. I had my 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood towed in and they diagnosed the problem and changed out the starter in under 2 hours. I had a very positive experience. More impressive is they print their guarantee for parts and for labor on the invoice.

American Auto and Tire is not a reputable company. I was towed there, not by choice necessarily. They replaced my alternator twice, telling me the second time they had to replace a connector to my battery or I’d be coming back frequently until i did so. I had them replace the connector. My car worked each time I left (unbeknownst to me) because it was working off the battery. It wasn’t until five tows later, taking the car to the Lexus dealership, enduring a life threatening mishap because my car stopped dead in moving traffic, and more with all the tows...that I learned that they put in an alternator that was not appropriate for my car. I returned the alternator. They refused to return my original alternator. They took back their replacement under duress and never credited my account for one penny of the mess they created. Do not use this company if you do not know what service is going to be performed and understand their process of doing business.

Needed my car checked before I went on a road trip. They don't check or top off ANYTHING! He told me to just go to AutoZone for that....AutoZone was closed for 3more hours. Just getting them to check my tire pressure sounded like a hassle. If yous hate your jobs that much JUST QUIT! There's jobless people who'd love to take your job and do it better.

I called them to check wait time for a smog test. I was told they could get me in fairly quickly. Much to my surprise when I arrived they were waiting for me and I was out of there in no time. The cost was $23.99 which is fair and I'm assuming is the average cost. This is only my 2nd time getting a smog test. I will definitely come here again.

I would give 0 stars if I could . This is the worst place I've ever been to. I knew this a few years ago but was reminded again recently. I had brakes done and an oil change for $700. That was insane in itself. They put the wrong drain pan plug in so I had oil leaking on my garage floor. The brake job was so bad I had a rhythmic hum and pulsing brakes after only a couple thousand miles. I took it to the dealer and they corrected everything and it runs like new. I don't know how this company stays in business...

Just pulled up to my car and seen American Auto Towing's truck parked in my parking lot. Tow truck driver had his feet kicked up and sleeping. Horrible experience. I was told I would get a call when they were on their way. I specifically told them to call before heading over because we live in Henderson and the the car that needed towing was in Summerlin. Keep in mind I have my 2 year old son with me which I explained that to him so he could just hang in there. I was driving to the location. I told him I'd be there in 20 mins. He said that they couldn't wait. I said I would pay alittle extra if they just waiting for me to head over there. He said no. You would think being a mother by herself with a child they would just wait. Absolutely no remores or consideration of the situation. Do not give your money to this business. This is a small town where everyone knows everyone. I would think they would want to preserve their reputation.

I've had American Auto Towing come out twice for AAA service calls, once for a tow and once for a dead battery replacement. They are absolutely fantastic with their service - fast arrival, friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable. Both Salvador and William were super! Highly recommended!

This place is a rip off. I had my vehicle towed there around 10 am on a Tuesday morning. They told me they would look at it. I didn't hear from them til almost 6 pm where they said they have to replace a radiator hose at the price would be 337.00. Where in America does it cost that much to replace a hose. Then they said they would have it done the following day (today) It's almost 3 pm and I have yet to hear any news so I called to check on my vehicle only to be told "we will call you back" I explained that they told me that my vehicle would be fixed. The person repeated again "we will call you back". So now I'm sitting here fuming because I have to work later. My vehicle is my only means of transportation to and from work. I work graveyard shift and I've been up all day waiting for them to tell me to come and pick up my vehicle. I already called in to work once because they said they couldn't fix my vehicle right away and I did not have a way to work only for them to be toying with me again. This is not good service and they are over pricing their work.

This place is a scam and need to be shut down came here on 2/2 water pump needed replacing cost me $449 picked my car up on 2/3 and a squealing noise coming from my car I contacted this place back they told me to bring it in when I took it and I told them that I do have a full warranty they call my warranty and said they need to replace the whole water pump because of the defective part the part was never a defective They just wanted to get paid because they heard the name warranty . So literally we are charging $900 to install a water pump they do not warranty the first install because the part came from AutoZone there is no defect to the water pump is a brand-new water pump

Buyer Beware!!! Took our SUV to get serviced last year and paid over $1100 to fix the problem. Fast forward 1 year later, the truck is experiencing the exact same problems that they "repaired" last year. They quoted another over $1200 repair charge. These gangstas are out to get every penny they can. The "manager" said that I couldn't speak to the owner because he is the only person that speaks to the owner, Steven Dynabursky. Wow! Straight gangsta behavior! Even his attitude and behavior was like a thug. They tried to put a lien on our truck since we didn't get the repair done which was $150. After the "manager" supposedly called the owner it was waived. Please do yourself a favor, take your vehicle to another auto mechanic. The BBB should revoke their membership.

Love this place the people have been nothing but kind to me and to a southern girl that means a lot. They are timely, honest, and are convenient. I would recommend them to anyone.
