Very friendly guys. Yes, you have to wait a while cause they have a lot of people to service each day. Just plan on dropping it off early and picking it up later in the day. However, tire swaps (in and out of my winter set) are MUCH cheaper here than at Les Schwab; like, about half the cost. Les Schwab quoted me $80-$90 but Costco is only $40. #worth ;-)

Went through Costco because of price. I scheduled an appointment and it still took over an 1 1/2 to install . There was no one at the counter to help .Had to get help from the back . The staff told me when I get tired rotated it will take up to two hours even with appointment scheduled . Staff was rude and did not want to deal with customers . I think the next set of tires will be back with les Schwab . They are always quick, friendly.

Never had a good experience here. Takes way too long. Took 2hours for one tire to be mounted and only one customer ahead of me and 3 employees in the shop. I do not understand especially since I work in automotive. I wish the customer service was better because the price and product quality is great.

Worst experience ever!!!!! Spent 2 hours there waiting for my car to fix a tire that had a small nail. Now I might not have been as mad as I am had I not showed up at 10am when they opened and no cars in the bays. Still tool 2 hours!!! Get real! Even on their busiest days Les Schwab doesn't take that long!!!

Unpleasant front desk employees. We’re refusing to reset my low tire pressure sensors. Told me to drive 30mph for 10 minuets. Which is against their agreement to reset the sensors during the tire change. With 3 kids in the car, not risking it! Made them come out and reset them, after they tried proving to me I’ve came with warning light on. BS!

My run flat tires busted through the sidewall and I visited this tire center and was not road safe to drive home. They did not have the tire in stock and at first were told that the tire would not be delivered from the distributor until the next day. When they learned that I was stranded from home, the manager Darryl did not give up. He had the specialty tires delivered at 3 pm that afternoon and they were installed within the hour after arriving for only $28! I was very grateful for the excellent service provided and made it home by dinner.

We have gone twice to get tires repaired. The first time they told us that the tire was irreparable and had to get it replaced. It was going to be $100. We agreed, but when we went to pay the total was suddenly $200. We decided against it since they used a low quality tire and charged so much. They had already gotten rid of the old tire and torn it apart so we were forced to just use the spare. What’s interesting is that for another car we went again hoping it was just one negative incident. We were once again told that the tire was irreparable and it has five holes. Learning our lesson, we went to another shop. Magically, at this other shop they only found one nail and fixed it easily. Very interesting.

Both Jake and Jimmy were extremely polite and helpful throughout the entire process: from selecting a set of tires for my car to installation. I ordered my tires on a Thursday evening and in a few business days they were in store. I came in the following Friday morning to have them installed which took 38 minutes from handing my keys off to the phone call letting me know my car was ready! I’ve had a slow leak in one of my tires for over a year and since I commute was tedious having to make sure to put air in every day (seriously the pressure sensor indicator would come on every day). Having new, safe tires gives me such peace of mind. Thank you, Costco!

we bought 4 tires here. My wife went in for several of the scheduled checks for the tires, but missed one check it by a couple hundred miles. They said they would no longer take care of the tires under their warranty. Sure enough a few thousand miles later one of the tires had a problem and Costco would not stand behind it.

Ruined both wheels permanently and denied doing anything wrong. You gotta take these guys to small claims if they ever screw up, stay far away.

I bought some Michelin Premier LTX tires for my Subaru in late fall 2017. They were awful. Wore down to less than 4/32 in less than 20K miles, when warranty stated they were 60K tires. Despite the fact that I had had the tires rotated per schedule and had no problems with the alignment, one tire had worn to 2/32 and one to 3/32. At first the Costco tire guys told me (twice) that I needed to continue driving until all tires were at 2/32 or less to get any warranty accommodation (Suggesting that I drive 18K more miles! Who taught them math?). I didn't consider this to be safe as I often drive by myself in areas with no cell reception, hundreds of miles from service (I'm almost 70 and a grandma). I kept getting low tire pressure warnings and taking the car 20 miles to them. FINALLY, the tire center supervisor, Tim, was on duty the last time I brought the car in, took a look at the decrepit tires, calculated that none of the tires would make it to 30K at this rate, and suggested a 50% refund on the tires because "it was the right thing to do". I bought my new tires at the Subaru dealer, despite the higher price, because I had been treated so paternalistically by the previous employees in the tire center. Would have given one star, except that Tim saved the situation with his integrity. Thanks, Tim!

Faulty estimates! I had to go in multiple times, even with calling ahead, and each time they have given me a wrong delivery date. This last trip I was informed that they were not to arrive until a couple days later (a thursday) because that company only delivered that one day a week. Why I was given a 3/5 business day estimate is unknown to me. And to top of my experience, one of the tire employees proceeded to use almost demeaning language towards me when I was there confused about the situation.

After reading a few posts on Costco Tire Center in Albany, I was slightly hesitant to purchase tires from Costco. We live in Newport and it is an hour and a half drive to get tires rotated and balanced every 7,500 miles. I made two appointments in Albany and one in Carlsbad California (vacation). I have been impressed each time with the care taken, attitude and speed at each service. I do not normally write reviews, but when you experience super service, you gotta review. I don't know how you can go wrong. Give them a try.

Their prices are competitive, which earned them an extra start. Customer service and speed are not a priority of theirs. I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance. I arrived on time to have my tires installed. It took them an hour and forty seven minutes to change my tires. That is not an exaggeration. When the car was finally ready, they didn't even acknowledge how long they had taken. Not even a half-assed apology. I will pay more to go somewhere else next time. Costco Tire Center is a shining example of what's wrong with larger companies.

Costco Tire sales are an easy no brainer deal. Bridgetones for my Accord. Then following month Michelins for her CR-V. Cheaper than Tire Rack. Trusted installation (w/Nitrogen fill) took about an hour while we shopped. Perfect.

Expect a better deal. $70 off of 4 is constant so not really a sale and even with it, the tires are much higher than Les Schwab.
