I went there for a oil change. On the way back from there garage, I realized the oil code on the window sticker was wrong. I brought my car back next day. They tried to lie about it. They tried to convince me that was just the typing issue on the sticker. But I was on there site and I saw which box of oil the technician used. We went in to check the number on the box. Wow! It was not only the wrong oil code but also not synthetic oil I was asked for. They double lied to me!!! I am a customer who trusted them for years. I will never bother to visit them anymore. First impressions of the tire replacement (Douglas Tires that are immediately available at this Walmart) was a good one. Although one of the workers doesn't know how to open the liftgate of the 2014 Ford Transit Connect to get that last tire, everything went well on time (total time of 4-tire installation was 1.5 hrs). However, when I did my final inspection at home, one of my new tires was incorrectly installed (needs to be flipped over). I am very glad that they fixed the issue immediately when I came back a few hours later. Customers, please inspect your tires if they are installed correctly before you leave the premises because some reviewers were right about the incorrect tire mounting. The big issue is the appointment (though I had no issues on my end, but other customers are having the issue). I recommend that you first buy the tires online (I will order Pirelli in the future and let them install for me) and have it shipped to this Walmart. Then, immediately call to make an appointment to schedule for installation. It is not worth the trip just to make the appointment and they don't have a way to make appointments online. I would give them 3 stars, but the immediate correction to the issue makes me give them a 4 star rating. Edit 8/7/18 I found out that they did not take good care of the alloy rims. I see black marks on the edge of the rim that can't be removed by scrubbing with soapy water. I know for the fact because they used a very long dirty flat-head screwdriver to pry the old tire off, leaving hideous black marks. Expect your good alloy rims to be damaged while the tires are being changed. All in all, I rather buy the Douglas Tire itself and let a more reputable installer to to the job like Mavis Tire.

Awful experience. We blew a tire on the horse trailer, with a horse in it I may add, and arrived at Walmart’s tire shop around 6 pm. The website CLEARLY says they are open until 7, but the lady in there told us everyone left at four. She was very rude about it and was not offering any help. Horrible, horrible service. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are not even worth the one star.

Oil change takes 3.5 hrs, I see my car sitting outside. I get informed that that was just for the oil changes. Itll be another 2 hrs for a balance and rotate.. never again will i spend another dime with Walmart automotive. Ever. I will tear up my warraties. Id rather spend my entire day off doing something other than sitting in Walmart. The employees have zero empathy or care either. They seem to hate their jobs as much as I do sitting here for 5 hrs.

When you go there make sure to have time I went there a very hot day and my tire pressure sensor came up after riding a bumpy road so I went they should check the tires they filled the tires instead of 33 they filled it to 43. Just checking took them 35 minutes. At night the light came back up so I went to another mechanic and released some air. And sensor light went away. But the people there are very kind and honest. Just don’t rely completely what the mechanic says go for a second opinion for diagnosis PRICE IS VERY GOOD.

Went in for a oil change, was told it would be about 45 mins or so, waited walked around Walmart for about an hour. Finished up my shopping and went to ask about my car was told it would be another 45 mins and I when I asked was told because they had not even started on my car, the cashier proceeded to say these guys know nothing, so I asked to just have my car back and not get the oil change because I refused to wait another hour total of almost 2 hours for just an oil change. The mechanic proceeded to come in and yelling saying I had to pay for a service that was already done to my car, which was no problem since they had already installed them. I asked if it was still going to take another 45 mins so that maybe I could just wait, and he proceeded to ignore me and walked away. Never will I go back to you again! Worse customer service I have experienced and very rude employees!

Went today to have 4 brand new tires put on. Was told since they were busy it would take around 1 hour and 20 minutes they would at least have my car inside by then. A hour and a half later my car was still sitting outside in the parking lot. No one came to say how much longer it might be and another couple there had been there a hour and a half just for an oil change. I understand they are busy but to not even check in and let you know it will be longer is ridiculous.

Truthfully I am never one to complain or write reviews other than well earned compliments. With that being said I couldn't help but feel I needed to share my thoughts on my experience today. I came in for an oil change and to fix a flat. After waiting in line for an honest twenty minutes I was finally helped. I began to tell the front desk about the services I needed today and was immediately interrupted by the woman behind the front desk. Again I am not one to complain and I understand everyone has bad days at work so I shrugged it off. Throughout the process of her gathering my information she was very short and had come across very rude. I gave them my keys and was told it would be a wait, which I had agreed would be okay. After two hours of patiently waiting I was called to the desk and told they couldn't fix my tire. It took them two hours for an oil change and to check my tire. At this point my patience had worn pretty thin, I understand they were just following the guidelines that were given to them from Walmart itself but two hours seems a bit long. I asked for them to put my spare tire on and I would go elsewhere. I drove down the road to a tire place that happily fixed my tire. Best part was it was finished in under twenty minutes and they were extremely helpful and kind, not to mention had twice as many cars in its lot to be worked on. Now I have made the mistake of going to Walmart for any car services the last time and honestly you couldn't pay me enough for me to go back and do it again. My suggestion to you is don't waste your time, because Walmart clearly doesn't care and does not respect your time.

I took my car in for all 4 tires to be replaced and my experience was decent. The staff was friendly and helpful and followed my instructions to keep 2 of the 4 tires I was replacing. I had a little trouble at first because I had ordered a set of tires online and the order had been 'lost' so I was issued a replacement order and was told they were at the store and ready for pickup. When I got to the store they told me the tires weren't there yet but looked into it when I explained the situation and they found the tires. The mechanic notified me that one of my rims was bent and I freaked but he was able to bend it back into place and mount the tire. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because it took SO LONG. I was there a little over 3 hours.

They took 2.5 hrs to do a basic standard oil change. Dont recommend if you value your time but price wise they are pretty reasonable. Asked to do an extra service which they never did and ended up in wasting almost 3 hours for just oil change.

Went in around 12 was told it would be at least an hour wait even though they only had one car in the shop and there was a total of 3 cars in the parking lot, They told me to stop back in later so I went in at 5 and they said they wouldn’t get it done til 7 even though there was only 4 cars in the lot. I called at 8am asked if there was a wait for an oil change they told me no to come over. I told them I was heading over. Got there at 8:12 and was told there was a 5 hour wait. I told the man I just called. He shrugged his sholders with a oh well face and says first come first severed. There was no customers around the auto center and no one in the oil change bay..... Where do I start. First off when I asked for the tire that had the best noise reduction, the guys says I never heard of that before. Picked the tires checked in the car and they pulled it into the bay. Left and sat by my phone waiting for a call and nothing. Call them and they say its ready. Go there and nothing was done. They said its Wal-Mart policy that they cant replace just 2 tires on an AWD vehicle they have to change them all. I needed 2 front tire cause one blew out. Rear tires still have 11/32 of tread which is still way over DOT regs. I will never go buy a single thing from this Walmart ever again. Not even a candy bar. Go to the 39th street walmart its much better!!!

We were just at the Dilworth Auto Center to buy 2 tires. My boyfriend went and grabbed them himself brought them up to pay for them and the staff helped everyone that came in after him but not him. Then an older gentlemen came in and made a comment about noone working. That man walked into the back and asked if anyone was working and all of a sudden there was 3 workers able to help the one guy doing everything. I think this needs to be fixed.

The crew will do everything in their power to ignore you. You can sit there at the counter waiting to buy a tool, battery, tire, etc, clearly a short transaction, and still never be attended to. Go buy whatever you need at Pep Boys, Autozone, Sears or literally anywhere else.

Really nice people working here. But I have two complaints. If you have locking lug nuts or a lug not cover, they did not put mine back on. The also put direction specific rims on wrong. I got a tire repair done yesterday, and it did not work, so I am here again today. Changing the review to two stars if this also fails.

Was quoted $10.00 per tire to install new tires. I even questioned the associate because that is about half of what everyone else charges. He said “10 bucks for mount and balance out the door”. Upon arrival the service tech said it was $23.00 per tire. When I explained my verbal quote he became very rude and wanted to argue. Had to speak with the manager, and he was even rude to me in front of the manager. The only reason I didn’t give one star is because the manager took care of everything and gave the quoted price. I’d pay double just to not have to put up with rude people!

Having to pay hundreds of dollars to repair the damage Walmart did to my vehicle while simply changing a tire. Ended up with stripped/cross-threaded lugs that had to be replaced, and severely imbalanced wheels, causing about $1,000 total damage. I was treated as invisible by the employees, who repeatedly told me "It'll be done in 20 minutes, ma'am," only to let hours go by without even pulling my truck into the shop. It took 5 total trips to this "shop" to get one tire mounted, and then left with a damaged vehicle. My mechanic has had 8 vehicles come in with similar problems, ALL from Walmart, in the past month.

EVERY TIME we go in they are unable to help us because they don’t have enough staff or it’s too late. If you say you are open until 7pm you should serve your customers until said time. Don’t tell them you stop excepting cars at 5pm or you decided to close at 4. The guys who work at this Walmart in Edgewood are truly the most unprofessional people I have ever felt with. We are a family with four vehicles and some off road vehicles as well. You have lost a customer for sure.

I made an appointment for 10am to get 1 tire changed and all 4 tires rotated. They estimated it would take 1hr - 1 1/2 hrs...in reality it took 2 hrs and 20 minutes. 1 hr and 45 min into waiting they told me the tire we had planned to put on was unavailable and asked if a different tire was okay which meant they hadn't started on my car until then. Also a mechanic made an inappropriate comment/joke to me which is not acceptable in a place of business. I will not be returning to this auto center.

I don't really care where I get my oil changed, but this is for sure the worst place I have found in the FM area. Twenty minutes to close, no cars in the bay and they wouldn't do an oil change. This place has always been the slowest to get them done. On top of all that after walking through the store for a few minutes all the doors where locked and the staff where just talking and the CSM was there and when I asked to get out to my car they told me the doors are locked. I mean whatevs there are plenty of better places to go in the FM area.

I went in for an oil change. They didn't call me when it was done. I got there and they had put synthetic oil in the car (I'll admit this was what I needed and hadn't known), but didn't call me to make sure it was ok. They charged me an extra 20 dollars I didn't have and lied saying they had called to check with me. I am now out 20 dollars I didn't have and agitated. What's more is they f-ed around with everything in my car. Resetting radio presets and changing my speed from miles per hour to kilometers per hour. Disrespectful liars.

I don't usually take the time to write bad reviews, but this Auto Center was so awful I thought it was necessary. The employees literally avoided the front desk because it was thirty minutes to close and they did not want to stay late. Meanwhile several patrons including myself had flat tires and no way to drive home. If anyone has recommendations on where I can receive decent customer service and get my tire patched that would be greatly appreciated.

Went to the tire shop at the WalMart on Bolger. They said tire was not repairable since nail was to close to sidewall. They did not have the replacement tire in stock. Took over 35 minutes in line to just retrieve the keys to the car. Went to the WalMart on Highway 40, they said come back tomorrow not likely to get to it tonight. Returned the following day, only 2 in front of me (both oil changes), 3 hours later, they still had not looked at the car. When we arrived 4 hours and 30 minutes later, was told they looked but could find no leak. Took car back only to find tire pressure light still glowing brightly. Same tire "they examined and found no leak". These are the most incompetent and rude service centers I have found in 40 years of dealing with WalMart.

I'm still sitting here an hour later and they haven't even gotten my car in to do the tires when they said they'd get it back there shortly. My biggest problem with this visit is that I called last night, and they said they only had 2 of my tires on hand, and that if I drove to a different Wal-Mart and got 2 tires and brought them with they'd waive all installment, valve what not charges. I get here, question them, and they deny the offer that their staff gave to me last night. If it wasn't for the fact that I need to get this done now, I'd fricken leave right away!!!!! A couple just did because they were told that they'd be out in less than an hour and they were just told it'd be 3 more hours. I was told 2 hours to get an in stock set of tires installed in my car and told the rep and automotive manager I had to leave by a certain time for a court appointment. 2 hours later my car was still in the lot and told it would be another 2 1/2 hours because there were 3 cars ahead of me. They are definitely challenged with time management. 4 bays and a wait time of 6 hours for an oil change? I've tried twice to get my oil changed here and wont be returning. It's sad because other Walmart locations I've been to around the country don't seem to struggle with getting customers wait times down to about 1 or 1/12 hours. They are loosing business because of this.

The mechanic said "what, did you not want to put the battery in yourself?" No, I didn't, that's why I brought it here. Never coming here for autowork ever again! Edit: I got in at about 7:10 am and haven't left yet and it's 9:30 am

Two of them looked up from their phones and looked right back to their phones. The other employee walked right by me. I had to go in person because they don't answer the service center phone, just to ask a question about tires. Warning! You will be waiting to be acknowledged and you will be waiting even longer for service. It was a Friday and the managers excuse for the wait was because the guys in the service area were talking alot about their weekend plans!! C'mon!? Better check the work too!! Very disappointed. I went to the auto Center in Edison ,NJ for tire balancing and engine filter change. The associate that helped me was Michael. He was extremely helpful in helping me pick out the right filters to put in my car and Did another service for which I did not have appointment for. He was also very helpful to other customers as I waited for my car to be finished. I would definitely come back here again and would recommend Walmart auto center in Edison, NJ to anyone needing tire services or other basic car services. Do not use Edison Walmart tire and Auto center! After complaining about my tires to their Corp office for almost a month, calling the store and getting no answer, their Corp office had to file a complaint about them. Now, after I order my own tires to be delivered here for prorate adjustment, I've been waiting 5 hours, even after being told by Auto manager she would get it done sooner than 6 o'clock. Horrible service! My receipt dor tire refund was 1:22. My work order shows I checked in at 4:46?????? Did the manager forget to check me in????? I wish I could give them ZERO stars! I went in two different days for tires on the back end of my pickup. the first day I got there at 6 an they were understaffed so they pulled my truck into the garage and told me at 6:45 "we probably won't get to it, come back later and we will give you a discount." I came back the following Monday and they agreed they would give me a discount(never specified an amount) and they pulled my truck in the garage. a few seconds later, some idiot comes back to tell me I need to buy four tires or two of a smaller size because Walmart cannot mix and match. I BROUGHT THE TRUCK IN WITH 205/70's on the front and 205/75's on the back, I wasn't asking them to mix and match I simply wanted the rear tires replaced with the same size. I left so find my truck smelling like gasoline, the seat moved forward ALL the way, and dirty oil all over my steering wheel. I REALLY DID HATE THIS PLACE.

This has to be the worse location possible. I went there three different times .The first time I stood there for two hours to pick up a battery that they never charged . I waited two hours because there was know workers at the counter and a front manager had to be called. The next two visits was to get new tires . I don't need to go into my rant about poor customer service frustrations. It's been bad for two years. I go there for the discount, not for the customer service. I don't blame the guys working there. I blame Walmart. Walmart needs to raise the pay and incentives so they can get fully staffed and retain mechanics. They are understaffed. The poor guy at the front desk is wearing too many hats. The guy that works at the front desk for customer service is nice and friendly but Never come to this place for a service, They don't have enough personal to run this place and the system to run it is slow, I had to wait 30 minutes to get service, then 3 hour to get the service done. The service was to change two tires and I wanted to keep the old ones because I could use them as a spare tires but, once I was leaving they put the tires as recycled and I asked for my tires and the guy went outside for them, but then what a surprise, tires were damaged, how come if I got to this place with the tires in use? then after 3 hours I got the tires damaged?

Where to start. I used to get work done here regularly, and put up with long waits to save money. I loved getting help from Derek and Cory and a few others, but since this past August (2016) things really seem to have declined. This is now an auto shop that does all it can to avoid working on cars. "Sorry, your oil plug might be cross threaded, so we can't service your vehicle". "Sorry, the nail is at too steep of an angle to patch it". "We can't find the lifetime rotate and balance.. No wait, here it is.. Shoot, your tires are choppy even though you got them a week ago and have only driven about 50 miles. So no warranty anymore. Sorry". "Our vacuum is broken again". " We can't air your tires to 32 when your door calls for 30". "I know we just opened, and you are the first person in line, but it is a ln hour wait till we can get you in for an oil change." "Umm. I no understand. Sorry. I get someone speak English". "That will be $20.xx.. You mean you didn't ask for a put crew? Ohh.. You wanted synthetic?". "Our computer said we had the tires, but we really don't". "Your oil pan is dented slightly on the opposite side of the oil plug, so we can't do your oil change". "What do you mean you have change missing? We only vaccum the carpet...". "We locked your keys in your car". "No, your carpet had oil shoe prints on it when you came in"... Shall I continue? Save yourself the headache. All the good techs are gone.

I go to this Walmart all the time and my experience has always been a great one.. today however it wasn't a great experience! Usually when you are walkng out there may be a worker by the exit who only checks receipts for items outside of a bag, however today I noticed that some people with all items in a bag were able to walk out but when the man asked for my receipt I questioned it, especially since there were others walking right out in the same sinerio as me, all items in a bag! Why do they pick and choose, I was highly and extremely offended! There should be one rule for everyone, I go to many different Walmarts even other states and my experience has always been the same, receipts for all items unbagged! I don't care if receipts are checked that's not the issue it's when rule's are changed randomly for some people, that's not ok! And this was done right in front of me ! Please speak to your employees and raise awareness to this issue, unbagged items receipts checked and bagged items no, but if the rules change that's ok as well I just felt humiliated, how dare you do this to me, an honest and hard working woman, shame on you ! Patrick said we would charge for a full oil change even though I was only in 100 miles in my current one and not do the oil change just the fluid top off. 20170918 - Worse service I have ever received from any store, not just Walmart Tire and Lube. I went into Walmart Tire and the clerk asked if I wanted to drop off my tire, that it would be quicker. What he did not tell me is that would be quicker for the store and more inconvenient for me. When I asked Denise why I could not get the vehicle information on the sales slip, she said that I just dropped the tire off. If I wanted to have it added, I would have to have the ticker re-written, which I agreed for her to do. We tried to get an oil change last Sunday. When I called to confirm their hours, I was told the scheduled employees had called off but they would transfer my call back to the department. Someone in the department answered and said they were closed for the day. We went back this afternoon. There were 3 employees, 2 cars inside and 1 car just had been signed in. Long waiting, I was told it would take 4 hours, but it took more than 6 hours. I choose to wait while they fix my car. So I was almost watching them for 3 hours. Staff work too leisurely. It takes forever to just remove one tire. Only come here if you are leaving your car for service and have a lot of spare time. I ordered two Douglas tires for my Sienna van. I stopped by the auto care center this morning. They greeted me politely with good manners. I told them to install my tires and do the tire rotations. After all paper work done, I went home and come back around 6 pm to pay and pick up my car. Based on my observation, wait time of tires installation will be long. So, it will be nice to drop your car in the morning and pick up later in the evening. They have good price on Douglas tires ($50 each) which are manufactured by Goodyear. The installation, tire balance and old tire disposal fees are cheap. Overall, I have good experience toward Walmart auto center service.

I bought two new tires and explained very clearly to the young man assisting me at least three times I needed the new tires put on the front and the existing front ones put on the back. I also made it clear they did not have to dispose of the two old ones that I would take them with me. Make a long story short, I realize they charged me for tire disposal and didn't even touch my back tires. So I go back today to get the tires switched (glad they didn't dispose of them!) and after a two hour wait they still don't get either tire changed out. I am more than dissatisfied. It wasn't an unusual request for service. I will not waste my time and money here again.

I came in here to get all four tires changed I had to wait 3 hours after they finally finished I was told by one of the so called Mechanic that I have no tpms and I know my car was equipped with them before I came to walmart so one of them basically took them off my car. I was here for two hours to replace a single headlight, only for them to tell me they didn't have one. I had to drive to a parts store and back to buy one, then wait for three more hours before finally going up to the counter, asking for my vehicle back and paying. Went to buy tires and was told that I couldn't purchase the tires I wanted because they were saving them for the Black Friday sale (5 days before the sale), my only choice were the more expensive tires. That was ridiculous! I went to the Independence location and they sold me the tires I wanted and I was in and out. As much as I'd like to give them a good review because I have been loyal to Wal Mart tire centers for years, I have to give a poor grade. I chose Wal Mart tire centers because they are cheaper than the competition and they help me in a pinch. This tire center however is short staffed, and the staff they have are poorly educated in customer service. I imagine it is hard to work under those conditions. Wal Mart should make a great effort to train workers and pay mechanics to work here.

Horrible experience with the Walmart auto center in Edgewood. I usually go her for car issues. I went by this morning to have a tire patched which they have done several times. I was told the tire was not repairable and I needed a new tire. I was fine with purchasing a new tire at first; however I was told that they could not sell me a single tire, I would need to purchase an entire set of 4. This was a completely outrageous request as I have purchased a single tire from this exact Walmart before. After going and back and forth with two different techs who said that this was their manager's decision not to sell me a single tire, I asked to speak with the auto center manager (who never showed) and was rudely given my keys by a tech who never spoke to me. I ended up going to another tire center who was able to patch my tire. I am incredibly angry at this Walmart's shady business practices and the manager attempting to scam me out of my money for tires I did not need and I will never give a dime of my money to this auto center again. AVOID THIS AUTO CENTER SCAM AT ALL COSTS!!!
