Five Star deserves 10 stars! I am done wasting gas money driving to the city. I had a coupon for an oil change at a dealership in the city and they "recommended" $2000 of stuff be done. I wanted to check with someone I trusted and low and behold, I only needed 3 of the 10 things "recommended". Five Star beat the dealership price on those 3 thing too! Not heading to the city anymore, I am staying local where I can get honest service and fair prices.

This is a follow to remarks I posted recently in which I commented on my frustrations with an experience. By 9 am the next day the owner had reached out to via Facebook, email and cell. When I called her back she listened to each of my concerns for almost an hour. She was emphatic and genuine in her response and went way above and beyond in making me feel a valued and important customer. In a time when customer service is a trendy corporate catch phrase, this family owned local business is the real deal.

Needed a state inspection and called 5 Star expecting to get an appointment in a week or so. They got me in the SAME day which was a great help. I take all of my vehicles to 5 Star for tires, brakes and trouble-shooting/repairing electrical issues ( the squirrels and mice like to chew on my truck’s wiring). I wouldn’t hesitate to take a vehicle there for any issue. No matter what the issue, they always come through at a reasonable cost. Big time service in a small town business

Don't go to them. They didn't tighten up all the bolts on our intake of our truck they never called me or my husband about putting a new gas tank on the truck I called them cause they was burning rubber with our tires and they said they was trying to get rust out of our tank after they put the new tank in there was no gas in back tank it only had gas in the front which was the brand new tank that they put in there was no leaks when we took the truck up there and now there is we asked them to get the check engine light off and they didn't I called them and told them what happened with the check engine light and they said that there was more wrong with my truck and when I got the exhaust fixed to bring it back up we asked them to get it road ready and they didn't

I brought in two wheels to have tires replaced and one was done to standard level and the other one's TPMS sensor and schrader valve were damaged, they did not inform me of the damage and it started losing air almost 40 miles away from where I live. That lack of communication and poor quality of work is what has led me to leave a one star review about this place.

Please read this review. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO 5 STAR. THIS PLACE DESERVES ZERO STARS. My husband and I typically take our vehicles to Steve's TLC; however, when my husband's truck was making a weird noise and Steve was too busy to get to it right away my Husband made the decision to take it here for convenience. They stated that there was a lot of issues with his truck and it would cost over 500 dollars to fix. My husband paid for it so that he could get on to work. When he picked his truck up later that evening; it was STILL making all of the funny noises, the check engine light was STILL on, and the truck would barely speed up of 30 MPH. We took the bill and truck to Steve's and he stated that with everything they did, we should not have spent over around 250 dollars! And to top it off, he told us that they definitely did not fix what was asked of them! We took the truck back to 5 star in order to discuss our complaints and they were extremely rude. They attempted to fix their mistake while my husband waited three hours. They decided that something else was wrong and they were going to charge us over 800 dollars to fix the new problem. They did not even offer to waive the labor or reimburse some of the 500 dollars we had spent previously. Luckily we told them no thanks and took it back to Steve's and they are currently fixing everything that five star ruined. WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING AND I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER!

Good, family owned and operated shop. They put a battery in my E320 for under half what the dealer was going to charge. They have always been up front and helpful, not to mention professional. I don't trust too many shops with my vehicles - if they're too cheap, there is always a reason. These guys run a clean, top notch shop, they have the proper equipment for the job (even on import cars), and their prices are more than fair. Use your head before you put too much stock in the bad reviews on here.

I had these guys install some wheel bearing on spindles I brought in. it looked like they used a blowtorch on it until the metal was blue then maybe smashed it with a sledge hammer to separate the halves. smashing the metal so bad the spindle had to be filed down to for the axle splices. that and the guy at the front desk has zero personality.

I had to go there to get my air conditioner fixed…over the summer..i know awesome right!! Well i got greeted right away by the front desk, allison and she was very receptive and very helpful and now one of my friends. Anyways, she made sure i felt super comfortable while waiting …and i hate waiting at the car repair shop but she made it fun for me. They fixed and checked it fast…none of the hour and wait stuff..but like in the hour! They fixed it and got the part in that week!!!! Yes it was a drive for me but it was well worth it! I'm an independent girl who at the time did not have a boyfriend so it was very easy for people to take advantage of but they didn't and loved my experience!

5 Star is a full service shop that always gives me great service. Their prices are very reasonable...to the point I don’t shop around anymore. Not even for tires! I just bought my 3rd set on a promotion where you can get up to $100 back! I love this place because it’s locally owned and I don’t get the cooperate hassle of trying to sell me parts and services I don’t need. Here, they will go over the recommended preventative maintaince and how much the repairs will cost. Leaving me feeling satisfied with the services I’ve received from the money I’ve spent. I sent my GF in for an estimate to compare with another estimate from another local shop. For the exact same work the estimate was cheaper. Had the work done at 5 Star and it was finished sooner and cheaper than promised. I didn't need everything the other shop said and they even took us out to the shop to show us exactly what they did. My GF and I both had a great experience and everyone we have sent has hadthe same professional, fast and reasonable service.

If I could give this shop a 0 star, I would. Took my car in to install 4 new tires. Was told my rim was cracked and that I needed to get a new set of wheels. Given no other alternatives or assistance to my issue, I was basically told to go away. I ended up at Alloy Wheel Specialist to get the crack repaired and it turned out there was not one. I was lied to and treated like a distraction in their way. Terrible customer service. I'll never go back and I don't recommend anyone getting service done here after such an impersonal experience.
