This place is a scam. I spent $864 to replace my alternator and the engine gasket. I even placed my trust in them for doing an oil change and maintenance. Two days after I got my car back, my clutch broke. They are not sure if they touched it, but they cannot fix it. Don't let their welcoming atmosphere fool you.

Walked in this place told them I got squeaking in my engine so they changed my brakes and rotors got my car back told them they didn't fix the problem then they tell me I have to change all three belts get that done come back 2 Days Later with the same problem manager tells me I need to change my power steering pump I didn't want to spend anymore money brought it to another mechanic a month later just for them to tell me the belt are loose and they only change two and I paid for them to change 3 horrible place wouldn't recommend anybody to go here and the mechanic stole my key lock for my tires!

I have been using this business for routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, alignment, etc) for four years now and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I have received. While reading the reviews can add skepticism, I have never once had a bad experience, granted this is also not a specialty shop (i.e. transmission specialists or engine specialists). I have bought two sets of tires (neither of which were Firestone) from them and each time the representatives worked with me to find the best deal. I even trusted them to replace two major suspension components on my Land Rover as they saved me several hundred dollars over going to the dealer. Finally, all of their mechanics are ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified, which added an extra layer of comfort in my opinion knowing that their mechanics just aren't some guy off the street in St Robert. Overall, and based on my experience with them, I would trust this shop to provide good quality standard and routine maintenance to your vehicle.

At 10am, I dropped my car there for inspection, oil change and tire rotation. They did an ok job of rotating the tires. They scuffed one of my rims. Later that evening around 6PM!!, they called me, saying my car was done and ready to be picked up... Went to pick it up the next morning and saw they never did the inspection (old inspection sticker was still on the windshield) but they charged me for it!! What crooks! The moron at the counter said "oh we ran out of stickers"... I demanded a refund. Well... I only had a day left to get the inspection done so I went to Hylan Auto Repairs on Hylan and Burbank, they did the inspection within 20 minutes. Do not waste your time at firestone! GO TO A REPUTABLE PLACE! They are trained to take your money and not service your car properly.

I had my car at another auto shop for three days before they gave up saying they didn’t have any other ideas as to what my car’s problem could be. I took it to Firestone and Joe had my problem solved in two and a half hours. He got me a new part and installed it all in the same day! I’ll never go anywhere else.

I want to give 5 stars due to the techs that helped me out of bind when my car broke down. I was at a neighboring business when my car wouldn't start. One of the technicians walked over and gave me a jump to get running. I drove over to have them check my battery and sure enough it was bad. 5 star service from those guys! Now the 4 star experience, they charged me $50 to replace the battery, 10 minutes worth of work. When I asked the manager about it, his response was " I don't set the prices, you can to Autozone if you would prefer!" I won't be going to a Firestone ever again.

Gave the car for engine check up a day before in the evening and they said they would provide by 7 pm and if i leave it they will tell me early next day. I call them at 9 am and 11 am next day and they said they are working on it. And Tom is really rude and saying they are working on it but if you want come and take it back. If it was not the engine light I would have taken back the car and would have gone to different shop. I will recommend not to go there and waste your precious time and money unless you are going to stay there and get the car back.

worst service experience with this location. They give me appointment at 4 PM and they gave 2 hours estimation time to complete my car work. I am sitting in waiting room around 6 PM I asked one Representative how much more time it will take and he said "We didn't started your car work yet". To much attitude.

Got a great deal on tires and 6 months interest free on my purchase. Staff was very helpful and location was convenient. I would not recommend this establishment for an oil change. Waiting an entire day for a simple service doesn't outweigh the convenience of location.

The manager Tomer greeted me as soon as I walked in. Asked me what my needs were and gave me two options, one was a little less expensive than the other. Most shops will only give you the expensive option. I returned about an hour later and gave him my car to service. A truly positive experience. After a short wait my car was done. Tom gave me further protection options which I purchased. Definitely a customer friendly Auto service shop that I recommend to everyone.

Dishonest and money hungry. I was told over the phone after bringing my car in for an oil change that their "courtesy check" revealed brake and tire damage that was in need of immediate repair, totaling over $600. When I explained I didn't have enough for the repairs at the moment I was told I could not drive my car home, I would have to tow it the three blocks to my house. It was not until my husband saw my distress and took the call from me and asked what legal right they had to keep our vehicle that the tone of the manager Josh changed from "you can't drive it off our lot" to "you shouldn't drive it off our lot". Yes, my car can use more than an oil change, but their courtesy check seemed to only notice the expensive hidden issues, not the cheaper obvious ones like my wipers being ripped. I am not ignorant to the condition of my vehicle, merely operating within a very tight budget. I did not consent to my tires being removed for any reason but one was off when my husband and I returned to collect the car. Thankfully after signing a waver I was able to bring the car home, though after seeing the tire removed I'm now paranoid something was tampered with or adjusted intentionally to bring me back to the shop. My one saving grace is that they have everything on camera so if anything was tampered with we'll have evidence of it. I will not be bringing my vehicle here for future repairs as I do not appreciate the way I was treated and then told it was my confusion when I brought attention to the verbage of the phone conversation. I completely understand any potential hesitancy to release the car prior to repairs both from a human stand point and a company stand point, but to be told I cannot take my vehicle unless it is towed is a gross misuse of power. Much to my chagrin the phone calls are not monitored the way the shop is (or so I was told) so I have no evidence to dispute the manner in which I was addressed in the initial call.

EDIT: Had to have the transmission seals redone at a Fire Stone here at Fort Hood. The mechanic even said it was this locations fault that they had to be redone.

I had tires replaced and front brakes done several months ago at the Manchester NH facility and during the courtesy check they removed my air filter and never put it back in. Two days later the car went into limp mode stranding my wife and two children on the highway. I had the car towed to a mechanic that eventually found that the air filter was missing. The diagnostics and labor with throttle body cleaning cost just under $300. Once I informed the Manager, Chris, what had transpired and sent him the bill he agreed to reimburse me. It has been two months of continuous calls and still no refund. He has promised a half dozen times to put in the refund and nothing has gone in yet. Every time I call he tells me it will be just another day. When I visited them on a day Chris said to come in, he slipped out to an appointment at the time he told me to come down. The manager is a weasel and the workers incompetent...AVOID!

I have been going there since it opened. Good staff, great.service, reasonable prices. Do not try to gouge you for extra services. Only drawback is getting there when driving south... You have to do a U-turn at a busy intersection. They stand by their work and also do your servicing as promply as possible.

Mgr. Phillip is not a good fit for FireStone. It was a first time for me to visit them on before the Labor Day..In first few minutes he had raised his voice towards me., for no reason??? As he was treating his child.. As we all we know, no matter what, the "Good "Customer Service is must!" Next thing I know, I got an estimate of, $ 1,600! He was kind pushy and obnoxious on top of it! You know what? I ll go to another car repair shop! Because, I got options..Because, everyone deserves respect and courtesy! If you are reading this, you may think twice as well!

I've been coming to Firestone as a loyal customer for over 6 years. Chris, Greg, and Marshall all greet my wife and I by name and are honest. Recently my wife's car broke down and she needed a tow. She called AAA and told them she was having ti towed to Firestone. In a panic she called Firestone upset. Chris reassured her on the phone he would wait for her car to be towed. He also told my wife on the phone to make sure the tow truck driver had identification and was a member of AAA. It's so reassuring that these men truly care about their customers and are doing honest work. As a sign of over and above service, Greg washed her windows and I was able to pay over the phone. This is by far one of the best businesses in Manchester.

I called to make an appointment and as it turned out I lived only 3 minutes away and they said that they would put me right in when I got there. I jumped in the car and was there in 3 minutes. When I got there they said that two people had driven in before me in that space and time. However, those cars were already on the racks and I think they lied to me and just wanted my business so they said what I wanted to hear. I don't recommend them.

Don't come here if you got a nail in tire, they will tell you its unfixable. They just want to sell you new tires that they don't stock. Went to a different place and without questions tire is being patched. Plus staff or so called mechanics drive around the parking lot like its a race track. Be smart stay away 0 stars

I had my BMW X5 checked when we bought it in January. I took it to Firestone in April for a safety check because we were planning a long trip. They gave me an estimate of $4,400 for Front End Parts and Labor. They said I should not drive it as it is and wanted to start the repair right away. (Before I could get a second opinion. So, I took it to my regular mechanic for a check-up and he agreed with the original check in January. He said the parts were slightly worn but did not need replaced. He told me that the mechanics at Firestone get paid commission where his mechanics are paid by the hour. I recommend going to Sun Auto on E. Sunset Road for a second opinion. They saved me $4,400!

I brought my car in because the window would not roll up, and since it is a late model BMW it ended up being a complicated issue but the manager was efficient and courteous and diagnosed the problem quickly. It worked out that the fix was too expensive so I had to work on it myself, but I called around and other shops had a very similar price. They did not charge me anything for the diagnostic and did not try to upsell me on extraneous services. Excellent experience overall.

Have been going here for years and am very disappointed. I recently went in for an oil change which was fine. But after doing a brake inspection I was told that my caliper was failing and that I needed new rotars and brake pads. Which was done just over a year ago. Not having the time to deal with the problem right then ( thank god ) I told them I would bring it back another day. A friend of mine, also a mechanic asked if he could take a look at it. After doing the same inspection that they did he said the right front brake pad was only about halfway worn not the 2 mm that I was told and that the caliper wasn’t failing the pin just needed to be reset back in it. So since I had already bought all the parts he replaced the rotars and pads. Savings of about $650 dollars as I was quoted over $800 for this work to be performed. As it stands now I will never bring a vehicle to a shop that is going to lie to and make up things just to get more money. They used to be a very honest shop but even after looking at their markup on parts that they are ordering I was in shock. And trust me I know they need to make money too I am not one of those people, but the markup is quite a lot. Take a look at it for yourself. Very disappointed and frustrated, but glad I found out how full of it they were before I let them work on my car again.

Went for a scheduled oil change and tire indicator showed low tire pressure. After about an hour, the sales adviser called me over and said a tire had a large piece of metal stuck in it and the tire was "not repairable". He said since it was 4 wheel drive, I would need 4 new tires (although the wear on the tires was about 50%). He said I would also need an alignment and the rear brakes would need to be replaced (I had no problem with my brakes - no squeaking, no grinding - no problem). The cost for this - over $1,200. I told him I was not prepared for this and will take the car to my regular mechanic. I did and he thoroughly checked the tire in question. It had one nail in the middle of the tire and he fixed it for $10. Certainly "repairable". I will never return to the Woodbridge, NJ Firestone or any other Firestone because I do not trust them after this. Not good business. Beware!

I have used other Firestone locations in the past and had fantastic service, so since I've just recently moved to the area I decided to head to this location. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite of what I've come to expect. I was only looking for a battery replacement, but was told that I would also need an alternator replacement. I decided I would hold off as the cost seemed like much more than I believed this should cost. I decided to call a different Firestone location, and for the same battery and alternator was quoted $170 less. I promptly headed to that location for repairs, at which point I learned that there was actually nothing wrong with my alternator and it did not need replacing. This location had attempted to have me pay for a $450 service and part replacement that was not necessary. Firestone certainly hasn't lost my business, but this location has.

MUST READ REVIEW : This is the worst service center in the world. They told my wiper has to be changed otherwise it would damage the windshield I said OK to it.They charged me for changing the wiper and few other internal car parts. I get to know at the later stage that wiper was not changed from a different service engineer. When I called them back they agreed to change the wiper. However they have charged for the stuff which they didn't changed. The funniest part is labor charge also applied for it. They might speak well but not good in work. They said they replaced my break pad also. Now I am planning to take it to a different service engineer to check whether it was recently changed. Everyone doesn't know everything about the car we blindly go with their words but when they lost the trust they are not going to get back their customers.

I arrived at near closing time needing new tires, breaks and an alignment. Randy, Mike T. and Jake G. all stayed an hour after closing to fix my car! They would not leave until THEY were satisfied it was perfect. Hats off to the wonderful team at Firestone. I hoghly reccommend their service department.

This place is terrible ! I took my vehicle there and they charged $90 to test a faulty window motor after they failed to mention any charge up front for the estimate I asked for. They also tried to tell me the replacement part was almost $400 to replace when I can buy online for less than $50. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My oil light went on & they were able to do an oil change late on a Sunday afternoon. Not too long after leaving, my car experienced excess exhaust & people motioned for me to pull over. My hood was engulfed in white smoke & it smelled like burning rubber or oil. Long story short: The cap was not put back correctly. The Mgr at Firestone was very apologetic & refunded me the cost of my tow (to RI, no less), tip to tow truck driver and the topping off of oil. I have always done business with Firestone and will continue to do so. They are a class act!

Needed an inspection on a Sunday. Called them and immediately they said no problem and to come down. When I arrived was greeted by the staff. He took my information and registered me. They told me to come back and pick up the car in an hour and within 30 minutes was getting a call it was ready. The pick up of the car was fast as well with no issues. Recommend them highly.

Beware ! Especially ladies. My wife took her car in for a slow leak in a tire, factory tires with 26k miles on them.justin told her that she needs 4 new tires. That he can barely fix this leak because so little tread is left.she was told there was a sale for a limited time and given an estimate of 760 dollars for new tires.she gets home and says we need new tires according to justin. The rear tires look practically brand new. This is one of the tires that he said he can barely fix. If you do the coin test the head is buried in the tread! Very disappointing to hear of sleaze bag tactics.they were looking to take advantage. Watch out! If I couod attach a picture of the tire to show just how much tread is left I would..RIP off alert.and he asked her a few times if the car was leased about the tires.

Please dont give them business, they are looking to take advantage of customers. I told them what was wrong, a repair that should cost less than $120, and was quoted in excess of $550. I was told that my truck has no freon leaks... but it was 2 lbs low (the truck only holds 2.25 lbs). In short, they got caught in a scam to blow up charges. Dont give them your business, just another unreliable mechanic.

I first went in for a admissions text pass that but then they told me that I should get a coolent flush was kinda thick I did that then 2-3 weeks later my engine light and coolent light came on so I called them they said to bring it to check it out.I drove.7miles without any trouble then they put it on a coolant test they said there was no leaks, they checked the battery etc. I also had them give an oil change Suggested I go to a mechanic to check out the radiator .I left and drove not even a block and the car was.running hard couldn't even drive past 25 miles an hr ? I haven't had any trouble with the car until I got a coolent flush from these guys will never go back there again.THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED .

If you ever have problems at the Fort Leonard Wood Firestone fill out an ICE complaint (Ensure to capture names, date, issue, etc). I guarantee you it will be dealt with if it is a legitimate complaint. The Command here on FLW takes those ICE comments very seriously. Firestone is here to serve us and if they aren’t doing a good job the Command should know about it. They also like to know if someone is doing a great job as well!

I appreciated the five star service I received today at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Manchester, NH! Mike and Andrew kindly rescheduled my appointment to a later time that was convenient for me. But mostly were so honest and clear on the outcome of my car state inspection and oil change. Most places only quote me for full synthetic oil but they quoted me for both, and recommended what was best for my car. To top it off, they even threw in a coupon to my total amount for my benefit! I may consider their financing that they mentioned as well, considering all the perks that come with it; 6 months defferred interest on $150 or more, free tire rotations, $20 off diagnostics, etc. Mike and Andrew, I will certainly be back for the friendly and detailed service I received today. Wife stopped by to have her oil changed and to look at her front driver side brake since it was making a clicking when stopping. The Brakes were just changed two months ago, however the placed moved locations. Father and I have over 40 years in the automotive industry. It's ok to make money but don't kill the person. Nonetheless I get a call from my wife that she needs new pads and hardware... So I get on the phone and ask why they are telling her she needs new brakes and hardware when they are less than 2 months old. Just fix the shim that they didnt seat properly. Mechanic.. " Well we need to warranty it and yada yada yada. In order for us blah blah." Another words I saw a woman and told her she needs to brakes to fix a noise caused by a $4.00 metal shim. Disgusting. Looks like I'll just take the tire off and do it myself.

I've been a loyal customers here since they opened. One of the things I've always appreciated is they would take my payment over the phone via credit card because I work 12+ hour days during the week. That way I could pick up my car after they closed and not have to leave work early. Well they don't appreciate customer loyalty much because the general manager Jerry decided that he wouldn't offer that payment method any longer and his excuse was for " my protection". In reality it cost him a customer who has spent thousands of dollars at his business since they opened. I'll never be back. In the future I'll drive farther for much better service and phone payments from Sunset Auto on Boulder Highway. Do yourself a favor...buy your tires and brakes somewhere else.

To start, my Car was taken back over an hour after my appointment time. Secondly it took way longer than what the invoice said to get my car in and out and completed.. This was a horrible experience between both or family car we have spent hundreds of dollars at firestone in this year alone !! What really has me aggravated is there was work that needed to be done that day but the tech very rudely said he didn't have time to do it.. Thinking to myself they would have had time had they got my car back at my appointment time.. My end transaction was not explained and all the work that was needed i signed( which i didn't know i was signing) was again not explained saying that i declined these services basically covering their ass if my freaking ball joint falls apart or my breaks fail... however i feel really screwed i basically begged him to do the work that day.. but again he refused.. That Would've been over 1,700 dollars in profit for this company! i hope whom ever reads that understand to me that a pretty big loss for a company to take.. I have cut up our firestone credit card because we will not be back!!!!!!

I'm a do-it-yourselfer and I do my best to stay out of shops. However, I needed a steering alignment and that's not possible for a home mechanic to perform. I brought my car here and not only did they keep their time promise, they applied a coupon that I didn't even know existed. They gave me advice on other alignment procedures I needed to have done, but never pressured me to have them done then and there. They told me to install the parts myself and they would perform the alignment, free of charge. I would certainly bring my car back here.

I took it in for an old change and check my tires; and it seem they put oil in it at least. Somehow they put two of my hubcaps completely misaligned from where they’re supposed to be and covered the valve steps. Their jam so tight from being beat back on in the wrong place there’s gonna be no way to get them off without bending them. I guess they expected me to wait for my next oil change to put air in my tires or maybe the legal weed is a just a little too strong for them. Wait to get off work if you’re gonna smoke that stuff.

This place overcharges so much for the parts and labor. I needed my brakes and rotors replaced on my front axle. I hadn't realized until I had gone in to get my tires swapped, but they were right. What I didn't realize was that they mark up the parts they sell by over 100%. And then on top of that they charged $120 for 45 minutes of work. That's $160hr. This place is a ripoff. I'd recommend just about any other auto shop before you come here.

They charged 300$ more than the initial quote, forgot to re-inspect my car for safety and forced me to come back at a specific time, and then made me wait for 2 and a half hours before touching my car after telling me that it would only take an hour and a half to get everything re-inspected (a re-inspection should only take 30 minutes). Staff member (Brennon or Brandon, I don't remember) was EXTREMELY rude to me. I had to go to the store and back 5 different times for just an inspection and tire replacement due to their systematic incompetence and terrible customer service. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment, its over priced and terrible service.

This shop specializes in deceiving its customers and focuses on fabricating a story to suck every last penny out of Soldiers. I came in to get a tire hole plugged and they tried to convince me I needed all four ties replaced on ties with over 70 percent tread left. They pull the rock out of the hole in my tire and THEN proceed to tell me they can't patch it nor do they have the tire in stock - probably something you should check on BEFORE you make the tire completely inoperable. They ssentially trapped me there because now the tire is hissing out air. They won't even plug holes, only patch - but they'll hand you some plugs and tell you to do it yourself. I ended up plugging the hole myself and the tires holding air just fine. Thanks for screwing me over firestone

Sent my sister in to get the 2 front tires replaced, an oil change and state inspection done on her Honda fit. They refused to install the tires because they were a diffrent size then factory. Saying that the tires were to big for her car. The factory size is 185/55r16 and we ordered 205/50r16 which is the same overall diameter just Half an inch wider. Starting it was unsafe. Then said if we replaced bought 2 more to match the tires we order then they would mount them. We told them we would take the tires some where else. They then did the inspection with out out permission and failed the car because the 2 front tires needed to be replaced. But yet they refused to out tires on unless we bought 2 more from them. the manager is an absolute joke. She doesnt seem to have any knowledge of tires sizes and she kept insisting that the tires were to big and wouldn't fit. I told her to check the specs and she would see that the 205/50r16 fits on 16x6-16-7.5 wheels. i have been in the after market automotive business for over 17 years. And this manager in no way shape or form should be im the automtive business. Stay away from this shop.

I had a bad experience today at this auto center today. I took my car for batter replacement and fluid exchange service. As there was over three hour wait time, I decided to drop he car and come back for pick up. I seem to have left my wallet in the car or at the front desk when I left, which I realized after I reached home. I returned immediately and asked the service advisor who took me to the car so I could check myself and I couldn’t find it. I called my family to search again at home while I asked advisor to ask the engineer who took my car to check if he found it, but no luck. As I insisted that the wallet should have been lost there, the advisor took me outside and searched around and finally found the wallet. I was lucky to see my wallet with all creadit cards, all cash was stolen. There isn’t enough evicence from their surveillance videos to prove my case that someone from Firestone took cash out of my wallet and threw away the wallet. While it was my fault for not being careful with my valuables, I am very disappointed that the personnel at a well known auto care center are involved in such activity and the service manager denies such an act by his personnel. This prompts me to think how dishonest they could be in their services and I would never go there again.

Although this is a convenient location and the people are all very nice, they are a business and they are in the business of making as much money as possible. I went to them to have a small leak repaired. They told me that the leak was in the side wall of the tire and could not be fixed. They then told me that since I have an all wheel drive, it was manufacturer policy to replace all of the tires. At my hesitation they began peppering me with encouragement to buy the tires quickly and to sign up for their credit card. I left and called the dealership who said that the manufacturer policy was made up, and at most, I would need two tires to balance out the axels. When I brought my vehicle to the dealership to have them take a look, they discovered that they hole was not in the side wall at all. What Firestone quoted around $700 for ended up being a $12 fix. Firestone takes advantage of people who they think will listen to the first thing they say. Please be very vigilant if you find yourself here.

Don't get ripped off by these guys! I went in for 4 new all-terrain tires for my wife's Jeep. The price on the tires was fine - not too much, not too little. What stood out like a sore thumb was the $300 parts + labor charge to replace the air pressure sensors on all 4 tires. When I inquired about the charge, the salesman gave me some BS pressure story like, "You wouldn't want your wife to be driving her car out in the Vegas heat and have all four tires go flat, would you? That's why we need to do that." I ended up getting 4 fantastic all-terrains over at Discount Tire on Eastern. You know what they charge to replace those sensors? $8 a pop! Firestone was going to charge me almost 10x that! Instead of paying $1,200 and getting totally ripped off at Firestone, I paid just over $800 at Discount Tire, and the service was phenomenal. Avoid this place like the plague. Unless, that is, you really love overpaying for stuff.

First time we went for a front end alignment we made an appointment, we were not seen until an hour and a half later after our appointment when he took somebody who did NOT have an appointment before OUR appointment. It is totally true that they try to sell you everything with most of it being stuff you don't need. I left the store with my vehicle after having several things done to it, one of which being an oil change, only to find out that my car didn't have a drop of oil in it. On top of that, the guy told me while he was put some in that it has happened several ties to others when they get busy working on other things in your car. While they seem nice and very customer friendly, it lures you in to trust them and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars over what you should.

We took in our car because our breaks squeaked occasionally and we were preparing for a road trip. This location said all our brakes needed to be fixed, and that our back ones were "totally shot." We called around and went to another mechanic shop because they could fix the same alleged problem for $100 cheaper. The other mechanic shop took a look and discovered THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG AT ALL... We were pretty shocked and even had them double check. I'm not sure how there could be any difference of opinion.

This place is a rip off they wanted to charge me over 2,300 to fix my ac and when i took the report to a different place they said half the stuff wasn’t even wrong with my car !!! Car was towed in after hours on a Saturday. Mechanics took care of it first thing Sunday morning. They didn’t recommend anything crazy or expensive- it was a simple belt failure, which they promptly replaced. We were able to pick up the truck a few hours later....all on the weekend. Any one could see the peice of gasket they pulled out, it was still attatched. I needed snow tires for a car that I just bought. They gave me a good price and could do it the next day. I got there at my allotted time and the truck that came only brought one of the tires I needed. They sent someone to Nashua to retrieve three more. While one guy was running for the tires they put my car in the shop to get all the things done to prepare. Granted it took a little longer, but the service was excellent. I wondered why the quote was a little more than they told me over the phone, not only did Marshall tell me but he showed me!! We kept the original tires and they bagged them up and put them in the back seat....they took care to be sure to put plastic on everything and mats on the floor. When I got home and took the tires out I noticed that there were some grease stains on the car seats and I just got this car. I called Chris the manager and he told me to bring it down at my convenience and he could take them out. I went right back and within 10 minutes all the stains were out! These men (all I saw were men) were all very nice, informed and helpful. They went above and beyond and I appreciate it very much! Will go back to them with all of our three cars over and over! Horrible horrible horrible customer service!!! Came down from Texas to visit our son. Had issues with our vehicles while there and we took our vehicle up there for help!! They fixed the issue they “thought” was the problem. My husband showed back up to get the vehicle and it was making the same exact noise. $500 later we soon realized we were very much taken advantage of. Bad business. I have never known such horrible manager skills to completely dismiss our issues with them. No concern at all for the simple fact they let my husband and I with our 5 kids drive off in an unsafe vehicle after spending $500 with them. Not only did we get screwed. We have to find someone who actually knows what they are doing so that it can be properly fixed. The manager of this please as well as the mechanics should be ashamed of this place!!! I hope you realize what you’ve done!! Especially being on base you would think there would be more of a concern and kindness and work to get the job done and make customers happy!!! If you want that. Do not go here!! I pray you all never treat another customer the way you have treated us!! I pray no one else gets screwed over by another one of you mechanics just so that you can make a dollar!! You will reap what you sow. I took my truck in to get a state inspection. I knew my steering rack and valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced. They told me I should replace them, so I told them they can replace those. I arrived around 5:30pm to pick my truck up and pay. Came back out and oil was dripping from under my truck. I went back in and let them know, I popped the hood and there was power steering fluid completely covering the motor everywhere. Some guy pulled my car back in and sprayed my truck with engine bright. The guy proceeded to be on his phone and not paying attention while putting my car on the lift. One of the parts from the lift fell and almost hit my truck. The boot on the left front popped off because it wasn't on the frame properly. The guy was paying more attention to his phone than actually working. Luckily my truck didn't fall to the ground. By then I was very pissed off after this all happens. He yells, "No damage!" He didn't even check! THERE'S MORE... I came back home and checked my truck. There were 2 vacuum lines that were disconnected. They never reconnected them. Meanwhile I paid them $1,404 to do this "work." You spend this kind of money and expect your car to come back in good shape. Doesn't help there were oil prints left all over my hood. I will NEVER be back there. Horrible company.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE. I went here in February to get my oil changed and for them to check out my car. They found a small leak in the water pump and said I should probably replace it. I got it repaired and they said it would be done by the afternoon the next day. However, when I went to check if it was finished, they said it wouldn't be done because they forgot to get an additional part that went with it. They then said it would be done later that night. I went back later that night and it was still NOT DONE. Additionally, they had backed another car into mine, leaving a dent/cracked paint. They acted like they were saints for actually telling me what they had done. I may not have noticed it right away because they popped the dent back out (causing the paint to crack according to a body shop specialist where I had to go later to get an estimate on the damage). Then they went on to ask me if I wanted to do anything about it...and I was like uhhh duh I want to file a claim. It is not like I am going to let you get away with damaging my car and do nothing about it. After dealing with all of that, I drove to Washington because I was moving there. 2/3 of the way through my trip I turned on my car and it gave me a message saying it was low on coolant. I checked the coolant and there WAS NOTHING IN IT. I had to refill it all the way, and several more times over the next week until I was able to take it to another Firestone in Washington where they fixed it for free because THE SAME PART WAS LEAKING, and the guy there said it was due to shotty worksmanship. THESE PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING DO NOT GO HERE. I think they actually made the leak worse because I had never noticed a coolant leak before I took it to the Firestone in Fort Leonard Wood. Additionally, it took the claims company like three weeks to call me back and tell me what I needed to do even though Firestone said it would be a couple days. The damages done to my car were estimated at around $685. It would have only been $150 for the dent had they not tried to pop out the dent, resulting in the paint cracking. So they made the repairs even more costly by trying to hide what they had done, and then acting like saints for telling me they dented my car, even though that's something that any decent car REPAIR business should do. Let's hope Firestone actually fixed my car this time!

New to the area and always used Firestone back home. Dropped my car off at 8am being one of the first few cars in the lot for a brake line repair and oil change. Car wasn't looked at until close to noon time and was told at 2 PM that they "wouldn't have enough time to fix it today." Didn't get my car back until 11am the next day. I brought my truck in for a wheel alignment, which was done satisfactorily, but the tech that supposedly completed the overall inspection did not actually do it. I have a dash cam and upon reviewing the footage the tech obviously finger-drilled the inspection. Example is he checked off oil level was good and never pulled the dipstick. He popped the hood, filled out the sheet without ever touching a single thing under the hood then closed it. The tech inspecting the vehicle across from mine did his job, checked battery, etc, but mine did not. I guess this place is hit or miss on which tech you get.

Ok, listen.brought a car in to get a estimate on rear brake lines. The estimate was $998, I asked why so much, 5 hrs labor and they bend their own lines and assemble them. I said why can't you just by the OEM lines ($24.95 each) already assembled and for this car. He couldn't give me a answer. So we towed the car back to Claremont, it cost $210 total, now tell me something, WHY???????? I was told never go to a dealer because they charge you cost, but this is ridiculous..

I know there are some bad reviews from about a year ago. I recently took my car there for an inspection and brake servicing and the new manager was wonderful. Very professional, very personable, and he saved me money too. I needed a rotor replaced but he told me that my break pads were good for another 15k miles after taking a closer look. I've been bringing my personal and fleet vehicles to Chris at Firestone for 9 years and even traveled to different stores as he moved around the area. I've always appreciated his technical skills and honest approach when it came to my repairs. No one likes to spend money fixing their vehicle but from new tires to engine work I always know Chris will take good care of me. I've always been skeptical of repair shops for their sales tactics and technicians trying to upsell needless repairs. I can say that the Firestone on Elm street is a professional shop where they care about long term relationships and delivering awesome customer service and value. Came here towards the beginning of May for an alignment on a weekday afternoon. In total it probably took about 2 hours and the job was done satisfactory. I was a bit disappointed with the front end customer service and was not even going to write a review until i went to a competitor shop in Eltingville this weekend and experienced what great shop service was. The main rep i was dealing with told me front tires needed changing out, after reviewing them myself he was correct however after acknowledging this and getting a quote for tires he proceeded to 'guilt trip' me about not replacing the tires there and then. I've dealt with this type of tactic in the past and it is so extremely irritating to me that it makes me not want to go there again. I appreciate being notified of any issues as i paid for the pre-inspection however when a customer denies your sale you should not proceed to then carry an attitude throughout the transaction, it's poor customer service. I am not using names as i choose to just take my business elsewhere rather than possibly jeopardize someones job. I saw a lot of positive reviews before coming here and was disappointed when i tried for myself, perhaps the guy had a bad day i can't say.

I feel so disrespected. I made an appointment to get my truck tires rotated and get the fluids and belts checked and whatever else as I was taking a road trip by myself the next day. When I walked in for my appointment, Phil the manager was on the phone seeming disgruntled. When he was off the phone I told him I had an appointment and he told me he was really backed up. He said he had other mechanics coming in in an hour and that the other guys over booked the day before (even though i was told the schedule was wide open). I was clearly disappointed because im short for time, but not rude in any way, and told him that's why I made an appointment. "I'm not going to tell my guys to stop doing what their in the middle of doing just for you." Phil said rudely. I calmly told him I never asked him to do that and I decided to just walk out. I never had any problems with firestone till today and am a little crushed as finding a decent place to take my truck is hard to find and now I'm leaving in the morning unsure about my truck. Phil, even when your day is going going badly, don't take it out on anyone else. You have no idea what is going good on in their lives too.

1st appointment was for an oil change and an alignment. We specifically told them that it pulled right. Got it back 3.5hrs later and the alignment was significantly worse. By the time we drove away they had closed. Came back the next day and they told us they were too busy and made us an appointment for saturday (two days later). 3rd visit, second appointment - it's not aligning we need to try rotating the tires but we are too busy to fix it today. So in summary this location is a total waste of time, and the staff borders incompetent. They dont have time to fix their mistakes and cause nothing but additional frustrations. I have been using Firestone for years now but I will never go back to this location. We went to a different location across town and they fixed it immediately without issue so the issue is specifically with this location.

I purchased a lifetime alignment a year ago. I brought my vehicle in for the second tire rotation and an alignment (10K miles) since the it need the alignment. They wouldn't do the alignment due to the vehicle needing 12k since the last one and do it on the next tire rotation. On the next visit I scheduled a tire rotation, alignment, and oil change. My vehicle was dropped off and told it would be done before 4pm. I came in at 5pm and the vehicle hadn't been worked on. I took it back the next day dropped it off. When I picked it up only a oil change was done on the vehicle. They told me I'd have to reschedule an alignment, but they could do the tires. 3 hours later the tire rotation was complete. At this point I'm starting to see the pattern that they do not want to do the alignment, I figure if I was paying of it the alignment would of been done. Fast forward to today. I drop it off in the morning for an alignment and rotation. They couldn't find my information in the system that I paid for the lifetime alignment (of course), they did insure me that the vehicle would be done by lunch. I call at 11am, and they did eventually find my lifetime alignment information, however my vehicle was not done. I jokingly tell my co workers that they will find an excuse to not complete the services....I was right. At 2PM i call them and they tell me my alignment cannot be completed, because of a front hub. 3K miles ago I had both hubs replaced by a local shop. So at this point the gig is up. This firestone is a joke, do not use them, and do not get the lifetime alignment.

The typical nail in the tire story, the tire itself has less than 10,000 miles on it. 'Not safe to drive'. I knew I was being taken but they refused to reinstall the tire so I could go somewhere else for a patch. They gave me $10 off a new tire but $100 and an hour later I was off with a lower quality tire than what I drove in with. Do not come here, it's a commission, 'free evaluation' BS care car service. The first thing they did was lift the hood for a nail in the tire when i did not ask for additional services. They didn't try to upsell me further since they knew I was pretty pissed. Avoid unless you enjoy being ripped off.

Devon and Herman are GREAT !! They went above and beyond to help me. I got a blow out on Hylan Blvd. right across the street from Firestone. I ran across the street to the shop. They were just about to close. I spoke to a very nice gentleman by the name of Herman who directed me to another very nice gentleman named Devon. I explained my situation to them. Devon kept the shop open for me while Herman came across the street with me. Herman drove my car back to the shop. These two men went above and beyond to help. I couldn't of thanked them more. They were extremely helpful, professional and very nice. I would definitely recommend this Firestone to people.

I called in to make an appointment and scheduled it for about a week out. Told them I would be waiting for it and asked what time would be best to bring it in, they told me to come in when they open up (7am). Once I arrived they informed me that they were really busy and I was listed as a drop off customer. I thought this would mean I'd be waiting for hours, but within 30 minutes they called me up to discuss the diagnostics! Great customer service!

Went there today--GREAT customer service. The tire salesman, Anthony, was super friendly right off the bat and introduced me to the crew. Not only was everyone very personable and fun to be around, but Anthony drove all the way to New Jersey to get the tires for my car. I was there for about three hours (which was no problem for me) and once the tires came they were able to put them on and fix my alignment in about 20 mins. Devon kept me company while my tires were being delivered. Great crew there I will remain a dedicated customer at this location.
