I was visiting family in the Stillwater area. I noticed that about halfway on the drive to Stillwater that my car was not handling as well and making an unfamiliar noise (this was on a Thursday). I ran a couple of errands on Friday and was concerned about my car so I parked it over the weekend. I called the Stillwater Chevy Dealer first thing on Monday morning. They were so pleasant when I talked to them on the phone. I was told to bring my car in asap and they would check it over for me. The service department even offered to drive me back to my family's home while they diagnosed the problem. I went back to the house and the service department called and told me that they found my wheel bearings were shot. I okayed the work and they were able to get everything done that day. When the service department finished, they had a shuttle come pick me up. The Stillwater Chevrolet Dealership did a wonderful job! My car handled so much better and I was on my way home by late afternoon. I would highly recommend them.

Great experience getting my father's car serviced here. Far prices and fast service. The only disappointment was that they were unable to refer me to a shop who does window tinting but that's hardly a big deal. I will be returning next time my Sonic needs service.

Will never go back. Bought my 2018 and was a bad experience from the start. Was truly disappointed when I had to go back for a Freon recharge, non working blinker and damage to vehicle. All within about 2 weeks of purchase. They even left trash in my car after service (rubber glove and other item)

My wife and I had been looking for a specific used car. We spent a good amount of time looking and no one wanted to sell us what we were looking for, we were always pressured to buy what the salesperson wanted to sell not what we wanted to buy so we would walk away. We stopped at Stillwater Motors. Troy listened to what we wanted let us see our options, then went outside in a snow storm to pull their selection of vehicles to the building, while we waited inside. We decided to purchase our vehicle there and finance through them as well as the process was easier than our own bank. Thanks you for the excellent experience. Customer service is non existent. When I purchased car they tell me getting oil change and service so easy...they say they have shuttle to take me to work...but turns out no one can answer question. They won't schedule my oil change and tell me I can sit in lounge for 2.5 hours. How do working people do business here? Quit lying to buyers and hire receptionist who is capable of basic questions.

Unethical! Got my oil changed there in December of 2018 for $33. Went there in April of 2019 and they raised the price to $65 for an oil change. More than double for the same exact oil and oil change! Called earlier in the day to confirm the price would still be $33, and they said it would be, and after I got my car there they said it's $65. Told them somebody on the phone told me the price would be $33, and the service advisor was a complete jerk. Ask me if I wanted to get it done or not being very rude about it. Horrible customer service. Lost a customer forever.

Dia was so great to work with, she really listened to our requirements and did a wonderful job showing us exactly what we asked for and helped us understand the differences between the package options with the Traverse. AVOID THEM!!! They sell DANGEROUS cars! They will talk the talk, BUT NOT walk the walk. Went with a family friend to buy a car there. The salesman talked forever about how wonderful the car is and on and on. Of course a day later when the check engine light came on and also we found out the rear leaf spring was broken through (DANGEROUS!!!), they said all sales "as is". Should report them to the attorney general. They lost us as customers forever, and after calling them a couple of times - THEY DON'T CARE. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

I bought a used car from Stillwater Motors figuring I could trust a dealership more than a private seller and was willing to pay a little more for that reason. But I was WRONG! Even though my car was a used car, I quickly found out that they didn't stand behind their products when less than a week after I got my car and the heat didn't work and they wouldn't do much of anything to make it right. I stated an issue the original time I brought it in to get serviced, and once I received it back and drove it for awhile, I noticed that the same issue was still present. I brought it in a second time to get serviced and they claimed that the problem was something else even though the problem wasn't fixed that I reported the original time and they wanted to charge me full price to fix their ignorance and wrong doing! I will never buy from this place again because of the management that has no pride and the brains to make things right! I am outraged!

Bought a 2019 Spark, put 524 miles on it. Had to bring my car in for an oil pressure sending unit. I haven't had it 1 month or made a payment and I'll be paying $100 to the service department for repairs. Only 2 stars because I like the car.

By far, a very disappointing experience. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Customer service was poor. Waited over 2 1/2 hours for a replacement key fob to be programmed, only for them to tell me they received the wrong part in the right package. Asked to come back the next day. Made another appointment. Came back. Waited another hour. They ordered and programmed the wrong key fob!!!! Extremely incompetent. I will not be returning to Stillwater Motor Dealership for anything!

went in to buy a truck and sat there for 5 hours to be called the wrong name over 5 times as well as recieving a truck with a bad transmission after making the deal and they wont stand behind their product. They listed my trade in as a local trade and live two hours away. was told the truck i bought was a local trade and was owned by a individual but come to find out there was a companies name removed from my tailgate but visible in the right light. would give less stars if i could. liars and not loyal!!!!

I've been going here since I purchased my car. They have either given me a loaner for free or shuttled me to the next town over for free. They are pretty quick, you don't need an appointment for an oil change and they're fair. For example, I had a catastrophe with a blowout, and even though it probably wasn't related to their work, they replaced the 4 tires and bought one so I had to pay for only 3, plus tried to fix some of the body damage. I will continue to go here because they do good work, honesty and this type of service is hard to find, and my son also likes their amazing playroom.

This must not be a good place to work. There are very unhappy people working there. The service writer acted like we were bothering him, the girl that took care of the coffee pot had an attitude, and no one smiled much. On the way home from purchasing a used SUV, we discovered the heater control didn't work. It would be a $500 repair According to the sales manager, we got "too good a deal" so they weren't going to stand behind it. We will be going somewhere else next time we make car purchase.

I have to make a long story short. Original draft was too long for a review. I bought my car from them last year. At 10k miles, the heater core went out. Under warranty, so no big deal. Problem is, during the repairs, they damaged my car. Then lied to me about how it happened, and the severity. I have gotten 6 calls now telling me that it is done. That the damage they caused was repaired. Multiple calls were even from Mike Kahn, the general manager. Each time he assured me that the repairs were complete this time. He looked it over himself. "It looks brand new, you can't even tell that anything happened." Apparently dents and scratches are "new condition" to him and his dealership. There shouldn't be a this time, imo. I didn't know that a body shop at a dealership would have such a hard time repairing some damage. Each time, I showed up to find my car still not fully repaired. They have had my car for over 6 weeks in total trying to repair the damage they caused. When I went in to pick my car up today, I showed Mike that the damages were still noticable. He just opened the door, and told me to leave. I told him that I wanted them to repair the damage that they caused to my car. He offered me a "cheap accessory" to shut me up. If I wanted it fixed, I would "need to call a lawyer".

Should have come here FIRST! This was my third time this year searching for a vehicle that fit me- two dream cars both died shortly after six months after buying them used (AKA abused!). When we came in we were greeted warmly by Allan Knox who not only showed us used cars in our price range, but actually showed us a brand new car that sat right within our budget. At no time did he badger us or try to make us go into a price range we were uncomfortable in. We test drove the car, and went to other dealerships to look at our options When we went to *THREE* other dealers in the area, it was like an entire different experience. None of the consultants we saw seemed to care about what *we* wanted. It was push, push, push. One even attempted to scare us into buying an overpriced used car because 'there is simply nothing in your price range' essentially acting like we were lucky to have found it on their lot. At the end of the day, we came back to Allan at Stillwater Motors. Not only because we absolutely loved the car, but because Allan was the man we wanted to have our business. I also want to give a big shout out to Tony Dinh who was the business manager who did our paperwork. He made sure we understood each piece of paper signed. Seriously, loved the entire experience with these men.

With all of the dealerships we have talked to, never did they treat our inquiry with poor customer service. Communication is key and lol is not proper I understand if you aren't willing to negotiate but you can explain or simply just let me know. I bought a brand new Chevy Cruz a few years ago. Nothing but oil leak after oil leak, transmission leak , Turbo issue and more...Today I have less then 60,000 miles on it! Good thing I bought a extended warranty or I would be screwed. It's covered until 84,000. The service department is one of the worse when it comes to customer service! I get better customer service at a local Chyrsler/Dodge dealer. I will buy my next car from the Chyrsler/Dodge dealership! I would'nt give you ONE STAR!! But it makes you in order to submit review.

Your sales person Ashley will not respond back to my many attempts of contacting her. She was going to check on an extra key as we only received one for the vechicle. What a poor excuse of a sales person. The interest rate I received was awful, which I have excellent credit, and expressed to Brian at the time, but he could only offer me the 2 or 3 places you work with, according to him. He knew I was going to go to my credit Union, and could of held off the sale until the next day for me to do so, but said nothing, he knew I would not get the title for months and could not refinance until I had the title in hand but he did not mention this at all, he must get a kick back from BMO? I got a rate 4% less rate than what was offered from your dealership! We have had this car for maybe two months now the heater fan has been replaced, we have, as of tonight, two tires that have blown off the rim while my son was driving. You knew we bought this car for our teen age son. The vechicle has tires that obviously should have not been on the vechicle! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureaus.

Everything about the purchase of my car was smooth, professional, efficient, and pleasant! This was our third vehicle purchase from Stillwater Motors because the have taken such good care of our family in the past also. There were a few warranty issues on a previous car and the service was phenomenal. They provided shuttle service to my job so I dropped off the car in the morning, threy drove me to work, I called 15 minutes before I was done with work, back to the dealership with the second pleasant shuttle driver of the day, reviewed the work done, and drove home feeling good about the whole process. We will continue to buy our cars from Stillwater Motors.

Worst customer services every ,they rip people off by selling junk vehicles with no oil pressure. Won't even help customers on fixing the issues on what's wrong with the vehicle after purchasing it less than 10 days prior . Highly recommend going else. All they'll tell you to do with ur issue is Google it . I'd stay away from Alan n Michael there n the hole place in general.

I called Bruce, the salesman, and gave him some ideas of what I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend. He lined up a number of vehicles for me to test drive. Never been more disappointed when told that they don't take appointments. I was told that I would have to wait three hours for my oil change and it takes another hour to do the job but they call me a preferred customer. I also never received the half ounce bottle of touch up paint. Perhaps $45,000 wasn't enough. ( If I could enter no stars that would have been my rating.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Stillwater Motors, especially with our salesman Troy. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our questions. Troy talked us through all of our vehicle options and, once we decided on which vehicle we wanted, he guided us in all aspects of the purchase. We were also treated very fairly on our trade-in. Troy was responsive to questions after the vehicle purchase and followed up to see if we needed anything. I took my Chevy Suburban here for service. The shocks needed replaced and I got the tires replaced as well. When I picked it up, they didn't even bother to wipe the tire mounting paste off of my rims. It was all over the place.... I owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee before this Suburban, and every time I took it in, even if for an oil change - they would run it through the car wash. Even Wal-Mart will vacuum it for you. Not Stillwater motors. I take a $65k car in, spend over $1,200 and they just give me back a mess. They definitely do not go above and beyond. They do not even clean up after themselves.

Had them look into some noise our cruze was making. It was causing a check engine light. They replaced the valve cover and gasket. After picking up our vehicle it still was making the same noise. They claimed it could be a camshaft. So glad to know the trained mechanics at Stillwater Chevorlet missed these loose bolts that are located directly under the valve cover that they removed and replaced. I tightened them down and the light shut off and the noise went away. Just goes to show they aren't actually looking for a problem just throwing parts at it in hopes they fix it.

They were very knowledgeable about the vehicles and seemed to have our best interest in mind in choosing the vehicle that was right for us. Brought in a 2014 Malibu told them what another company had quoted me they said that was a low ball price and they could do better... Sent them the vin and pictures so they could run it...they didn't run it till we got there and wasted five hours of my time along with three hours of drive time said they wanted to look so I drove an hour and twenty minutes with it on the flatbed for them to offer 3000 less... Great experience all around. My husband found a truck that fit all good criteria, so we sent in an inquiry. We heard back almost immediately and were directed to work with Kevin upon arriving at the dealership. Kevin was incredible: thorough, understanding, and overall the antithesis of the *pushy car sales* stereotype. We worked with Rich on financing, who explained everything in full detail and provided us with some additional information. When my husband came back to have a tunneau cover installed, Frank in the service department was like an old friend. End to end fantastic customer service! While I hate to throw anyone under the bus, I can say that we recently bought another vehicle at a *neighboring dealership*... And the experience was less than stellar. I love Stillwater Motors. I was just there for my Auto Butler on Monday and had a great experience, like usual. My salesperson Troy is fantastic. He’s always helpful and answers my questions about the Camaro convertible I bought from him last September. Justine in detailing is wonderful. Do not recommend! Purchased a used 2015 Tahoe paid 40k and it’s the worst vehicle I’ve ever purchased and I believe it’s due to the dealership! First off the never filled the engine back with oil after they changed it. Sold me the vehicle with a bad battery! And now first day of summer and the damn A/C doesn’t work! Glad I spent 40k on a price of junk! Had multiple other issues on the financing end but I won’t even start with that! TRUST ME GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

He communicated clearly, showed empathy, revealed the reality of what was going on, allowed me space to grieve the total loss of my 2015 Buick Encore (with 88,079 miles) and matched me up with Ashley on the dealership side. Incompetent, Unorganized, and Full of lies This organization is a front for an actual service shop. They also lie or have horrible short term memory. All I can guess is they wanted me to pay for the service after they inconvenienced me by getting me in the shop. I called and asked for a service manager and explained that I have a CTSV needing routine warranty maintenance. He said bring it in no appointment necessary for oil and filter. I asked if they can do all Cadillac warranty work. He said sir we are a GM certified service center. We can take care of all of your GM vehicle needs. Wow save me a little driving so a couple days later, I drove over and pulled in the service center. I waited for 12 minutes by my car without a greeting. I asked some guy if I was tow hit here and he said yes. I wasn't sure the protocol and starting to wonder if I was supposed to ring a bell or something so eventually I walked into the service area and nice guy said he would be with me in a minute. No big deal, explained what I needed done. Some other yahoo starts explaining that they can't do the warranty service in the car. They bill for the work because they can't do Cadillac warranty work. I explained that I called in etc... told him the whole story. He says ok, we can do it. I go through the rest of the vehicle registration process with the service rep. and yahoo comes back over telling me he called the service manager and he said no. Somebody is pretending to be the service manager Frank, or Frank has lost the ability to remember a very recent commitment he made. Regardless I am now 30 minutes in and am told its a 1 hour wait. I was going to pay for it but decided to leave. I promise you I won't be buying my corvette from this incompetent shop. Remember you see a sales guy once a year but service a lot. I highly recommend avoiding this dealership.

I was very interested in a vehicle at this dealership, waited two hours to let me know they will call me tomorrow about the resolution for my loan application (they could of told me that earlier)..... they didn't call next day ..... so I called, I found out the person who told me "I will call you tomorrow" was scheduled to be out of the office for the rest of the week (on vacation).... so he lied on my face about calling me next day...... anyway, another person found my application but they were not very interested on working with me.... I gave up ... I have other options if you are not interested in my business..... I wish I could have the option for zero stars review !!

Was told no appointments for fuel filter and oil changes, but to come in and they can get to it right away. Service usually takes around an hour. Showed up and was told it was an hour and a half wait, and the service would take at least an hour and a half. Complete joke. My business just went to Hudson GMC.

Terribly disappointed in Buick GM I have tried to work with them several times. Stillwater then white bear blew the engine in a 2014 Buick Regal Turbo. the whole family was treated really shoddy. the mechanics cannot fix anything unless it comes up on a code, until something catastrophic happens to your car they won't do anything. they treat you like they don't value you. the car has never been right since they replaced the engine at 30000. My husband and I have been loyal customers since 89, we bought an Iroc 89, C10 work truck 93, a Buick LeSabre 97, chevy avalanche 05, and now this 2014 buick regal. I have called Buick, they contacted us on 23rd of April, said we may as well work with an independent mechanic even though it's still under warranty. again they're relying on codes which may be their codes are wrong but, GM still stands behind their mechanics instead of their customers. told him we will not buy buick or GM it's too bad, the customers used to mean something. Buick used to be a good name to me, I will never buy a Buick again. so terribly disappointed, it's been a terrible waste of my time, my family's time. my opinion, never buy a Buick or GM. Will be contacting the attorney general with our documentation.

We bought a used car from this place. I get that in Minnesota cars are sold "as is" but for a car that their mechanics "checked out" we ended up spending a lot more for in the first few weeks. At the time of purchase the tire pressure light was on. They said they would take care of that before we took it. When we got it the light was still on and they said to drive about 20 miles for the sensors to register and the light would go out. After a couple of days the light was still on. We called and they told us the car was sold to us "as is" and they won't do anything. We took it to CarX and found that the tire pressure sensors were missing from all four tires! Stillwater motors hadn't done anything. Other things we've had done in the first 3 weeks of ownership: had to replace brakes, tires, ball joints, wheel bearing, and transmission pan. The drive shaft had to be sent out to be rebuilt. The car is missing the emergency brake! It's been removed completely with the exception of the handle. We were not told of any of these issues at the time of purchase. The test drive revealed none of these issues. If nothing else the car should have been discounted for all the repairs that would be required but they priced it as if it was a used car in good shape. It's been in to be serviced twice now for over $3000 in repairs and that doesn't include the missing emergency brake. Shame on me for being stupid and not paying to have the car checked by my mechanic before purchase but a big "shame on Stillwater Motors" for the way they dealt with us. "As Is" indeed!

Bought a truck from one of the guys up there, he would say anything to make a sale, told him my plan and asked if that would affect the warranty, he said and I quote “ you should have no problems”. Now I bring it in for service and they say they will not touch my truck. No warranties or any service at all; so go to talk to GM and calls salesman in and he lies right to the GM and our face saying he said the warranties would be voided when I bought the truck and told my plan. Absolute liar. I negotiated my price at the sale to get the warranties and made it a point that I wanted them and that I wanted to be sure it would be covered. So after he lies right to all of our faces he just walks out. What kind of company let’s an employee just walk out of their bosses office when called in because he didn’t want to deal with the customer anymore or a tough situation. Absolute joke. Will not go back Or recommend to anyone, not anyone there. Complete lack of any customer service.

So I traded in a Cadillac to get a lower cost equinox. Single mom with two kids. I’ve been working on my credit for quite some time and I managed to get it up there. Stillwater motors “forgot” to pay off my Cadillac loan so my credit decreased by 57 points as a result. I am so fuming po’d I could just burst. Worst of all when I was sitting at the desk with the finance man, I won’t list his name out of respect, he told me, “don’t worry about the Cadillac, it’s all been taken care of.” I give you these words of advice Stillwater motors: follow through with every one transaction, no balls should be dropped, these are people’s lives, and it makes me feel like I was never once cared for, just get me in a quick, cheap vehicle and get the hell out and make room for the person spending $100,000 on a vehicle. Thanks for ruining my credit.

Bad experience buy our first new vehicle. We discussed in detail that that we were buying the truck to pull a camper so we go camping the following weekend. First the sales guy forgets to mention the new truck with the "towing package" does not come with a break controller. I called and set an appointment to get one installed this time he forgot to mention that I cant get a Chevy one that goes in the empty spot left in the dash for the break control switch. So I go to pick the truck up and there is just a break control box screwed to the bottom of the dash in my brand new truck. Well that's sucks but atleast I can pull a trailer for memorial day but wait he also forgot to mention that your not suppose to pull a trailer for the first 500 miles. Then 2 weeks later the bank takes a payment from my account for the vehicle I traded in 2 weeks ago to get this new truck. So I call the service manager and he has no explanation or doesnt even seem care what his sales people are doing as long as they are selling vehicles.

Kind of sleazy, what you'd expect from the stigma of car sales. Went to look at a new truck late Monday night last week. Found the one I wanted after walking the lot and told the salesman I'd take it but needed to transfer money during business hours as I wasn't going to finance and I will return on Wednesday to purchase being I had prior commitments out of town Tuesday. He claimed he put the keys on his desk and it would be ready when I returned. I returned with checkbook and the vehicle's VIN added to my insurance only to find out they sold it to someone else. It's dollars they're concerned about, not the customer. So I bought an identical truck for $3000 less at Amery Chev, where they held it for me for two days until my work schedule allowed me time to get out there.

Then over the past 6 months, sloppy, uncaring technicians, turned my opinion of this service department, and the dealership completely around. I was determined to purchase a new Enclave or Tahoe this year from them, but no more. Not a chance. I will not set foot in that dealership again. Service Manager talks a good fight but technicians could care less about the customer.

Took my truck in for a routine oil change and tire rotation in October of 2018. I left the wheel lock key out for the service person to use. Everything seemingly went great, took very little time and I was out of there. However, due to an incident in July 2018, prior to this service, I scratched the rim on the front right wheel. A month after the oil change and tire rotation (documented ), I noticed the same scratched rim remained on the front right wheel. I tried explaining this over the phone to the service dept, but received a confusing, invalidating, and disappointing response of "person has been doing it for 40 years, so I doubt it was not done. Bring it in and we may have to get management involved." After this conversation with the service department, I took it back in to explain/show in person. Stillwater did perform the tire rotation at no charge, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I left the service department wondering if it weren't for that scratch, I would not have known it was not performed, which greatly shook my confidence and trust I have with Stillwater motors. I spent a great deal of time and money with GM to get the vehicle, with the rims and wheels that I have, and this experience was truly disappointing. Also, this was a month after the body shop manager laughed/yelled at me for trying to give them money to fix some body work, business that I spent 5 months organizing between 2 chevy dealers and a regional GM. Neither the body shop manager nor the GM seemed to care about my story and dissatisfaction, and welcomed a negative review. I should mention, this dealership is around 20 minutes away from me, when I have 2 other dealerships within 5 minutes of me. I went out of my way to take it to Stillwater as I was impressed with their shop and what seemed like nice and caring employees, both in service and sales. I have a really tough decision whether I give them my repeat business after these events.
