Thank you to the guys at North Country Tires. The snow and the cold came as 1-2 punch this Dec 2016, twice already now. I was able to get a 4pm appointment on the same day after stopping by in the morning while on my way to work. $19 per tire for winter tires swap; unmount OEM all season tires and mount winter snow tires. I arrived 10 minutes before 4pm, checked in and the guys started working on my car at 4. I'm fascinated with different tire tread patterns and compounds, had a great chat with Jarod. He and Nick had lots of phone inquiries yet still provided excellent customer service to the people in the store. I would recommend this shop to friends, families, and coworkers without hesitation. My car was finished in about 45 minutes. I also want to say that they sell Nokian tires here. Jarod gave exact out of door price for a set of Nokian WR G2 SUV, and it was not any more expensive than Sam's club's Michelin and Costco's Bridgestone tires. Most people think they can save big by going to club wholesale stores for tires but I suggest that you check out this place before spending your hard earned money elsewhere. Thanks again guys, I appreciate that you checked my brake linings and let me know their current state. I'll be back next Fall for a set of Nokian tires for sure. -- Updates: 1. I've been back for replacing brake pads and rotors on the 2011 Forester in early Jan. Excellent workmanship and they advised the anti seize adhesive for wheel studs are not good practice that can cause harms. The guys cleaned that stuff off as best that they could, I really appreciate the advise. I told my friends about not going to Sam's Club or Costco for tires and rotation because they use that anti seize stuff there. 2. Just helped my parent to shop and replace OEM tires with a new set of Grabber HTS 60 in mid Apr, the guys at North Country Tires did a great job, tires are well balanced and handling is great. The Ford Escape makes sharper turns with less body roll, and a lot less road noise. Thanks again guys!

Car broke down on my way to work yesterday... a little more than 24 hrs later I now have my car back running great, new alternator & battery. At almost 300k miles you never know what kind of problems will come up but these guys took me in right away, gave me an estimate within a couple hours, and had my car good to go by the following morning. The price was not outrageous by any means, and the guys there are all super friendly and helpful.

if I could they wouldn't even get a star I went for tires and then come to pick my truck up and then they blow a hole in the valve cover and the timing cover and they insisted that it was not there falt AMD charged me to fix the vlave cover and left the hole in the timing chain... not professional at all they will be going to small businesses court

Bought a set of four, one went flat in two weeks. Brought it back to have it fixed and it went flat the next day. Brought the car into discount tire and they fixed it for free and said the seal was bad. Went to have them rotated, six monthes later and they charged $20. Have been doing it since, at Discount Tire for free. I've been buying my tires at Discount Tire for years, but I had to wait, the day I wanted it done, so I went to North Country ... bad mistake. Though the price was the same, the mounting and balancing of the four tires took four freaking hours! I asked that the manager/owner give me a call or e-mail me and I never heard from him. I will NEVER go back!

I first started dealing with North Country Tire about 10 years ago. I needed custom wheels and tires for my 67 Mustang convertible, and they gave me the fairest price of any of the chains I had checked with. From that good service they earned my business on new tires for my truck, my wife's car and a set of winter tires for my truck. They have done maintenance on my truck, Mustang and wife's car for a couple of years now with no problems. Very satisfied customer.

Bought 4 tires here, three attempts to balance them and they still aren't right. They also are not very knowledgeable about load ratings and the proper pressure to set tires to. Price wasn't really any better than anywhere else, not going back.

I have been doing business with North Country Tire now off and on for about 16 yrs, but steady for the last 6. There is a reason I like going to this shop and that is the service is always above and beyond the call of duty. Just recently my wife was having issues with her Chrysler town and country, she couldn't get her key out of the ignition or be able to move the shift selector up or down. Nick the sevice manager talked me threw the whole process of being able to bypass the lock up and able to drive the vehicle home without spending money on a(n) tow. And then Nick and Jerrod worked with my wife's warranty company so that we could get these problems fixed and the vehicle back on the road. I buy my tire's and do our brake work thru North Country tire as well and there is no place in the Great State of Minnesota that is better than North Country Tire. John the owner is a solid man , very knowledgable , and an all a round good christian.

The mechanic who worked on my car spoke to me was well about what was wrong, with kindness and knowledge. The waiting room has a room for children with a TV and a room for adults, along with WiFi--very clean. Overall, I highly recommend North Country Tire Services.
