I have been using them as a price reference in the past since they are very competitive, however, this time I decided to really do business with them. And I did not regret it! Our agent, Cory Gold he took care of us. He explained everything, the pricing, car features and all extra benefits we get from the dealership. He was patient with us, and did not rush us with any decision making. We live an hour away from the dealership, so he offer a fuel refund to complete the upgrades [bucket mats, splash guard]. Always seem to get me in for a timely oil change. Even if you say, "Sure, rotate my tires," they don't do it and don't charge you for it, if you don't need it. Clean, spacious area to wait. Complimentary snacks and coffee. Search for a coupon on your phone, and they'll use it.

On July 23, 2019 my wife and I returned to the Honda dealership and purchased our new 2019 Honda CRV-EXL. The day before we had test drove the Honda CRV and was even thinking about the Honda Passport. We were fortunate enough to be working with a bright young man by the name of Dakota Toedter. After explaining to Dakota what we were looking for and asking lots of questions between the two models, Dakota convinced me to go with the Honda CRV. It was toward the latter part of the evening and Dakota did pull out a Honda CRV-EXL in the color we wanted. We test drove the Honda CRV-EXL and the car was everything Dakota said it would be. I was impressed with the advances in the driver safety features of the CRV. Since it was getting close to 9 P.M. we told Dakota we would sleep on it and come back the next day. We did return the next day and bought our CRV-EXL. Our sales rep Dakota was there to meet us. Every staff person that I dealt with was kind and helpful. John in the finance department was a pleasure to work with and had a good sense of humor. John helped make the finance process go by quickly by keeping us entertained. My family and I have bought our last 3 Honda vehicles at Inver Grove Honda. This new 2019 CRV-EXL will be our fourth car purchase. Honda Inver Grove Heights always does the service maintenance on our cars. The service department is easy to work with. The receptionists are absolutely useless. They give different info depending on who you talk to and don't even know their own employees. It took three times of me insisting a name was correct and her "going to check" before she figured out he had just stepped away from his desk for a moment. Once I got past them (on the phone or in person) and talked with a manager, I got polite, knowledgeable, and helpful information and was assigned a service manager who was terrific.

He does not recommend service or parts that are not required or needed and I feel he always does his best to get my vehicle through the system as quickly as possible, offering a loaner if he feels it will take longer than it is convenient to wait in the waiting room. I always ask for Terry when I call in and when I drop it for service.

But I bought a car that was "accident free" and when i got home i notice that rear corner panel and rear bumper had real bad rough paint that looked like it has been in an accident. The day was gloomy and they had just brought it out of car wash so it was hard to see and also thinking $30k ish vehical shouldnt be nothing to hide. Brought it back next morning and they gave me a hard time about it until one of the guys said it was on a "to do list" before i bought it. Five days and still no service. Positive because it’s under warranty so they’re not making money. I had my 2018 Honda Odyssey towed to the dealership to be fixed on Monday afternoon. It is Saturday and they have not even looked at it. However, when I was a drive-in twice the last two weeks with my CRV they immediately looked at it and each time made almost $1000 on me for a total of $2000. I’m certain the reason they’re not even looking at my Honda Odyssey is because it’s under warranty so there’s no money in it for them. I have called every day for five days and got in the exact same runaround. It’s important to note for 20 years I have been a very loyal customer. However, I will never return here again. In addition, I will no longer recommend them but I will steer everybody to spend their time and money somewhere else. Five days and not even looking at my card is beyond ridiculous! Their fancy waiting room is not worth all the frustration and then not even looking at the car under warranty for five days. They have lost all my business with all my Honda’s as well as future customers that I will tell to stay far away.

First time bringing in my car today as I sit in the waiting lounge. This place is full of “experienced” service “advisors”, but yet, when I walk through the doors to them. I have to stand there blank faced waiting for anyone of the 15 desk “service advisories” to not even recognize a customer standing in point blank view waiting to be greeted and asked “What brought you into Inver Grove Honda today, sir?” Instead, I have to walk back through the doors to the service cashier and ask the lady if she can assist me in finding an appointment possible. Being that I told her, that the 15 service advisories in the service department were too busy. Acting as if their busy and doing an important task looking at their computer screens. Note another advisor was just sitting and swiveling around in his chair. The service cashier led me back into the service advisory department. Asked around for someone to assist me with my service. The service advisor, who was swiveling around in his chair turned around in a shocking face saying he was available. He then proceeded to ask me if I “knew” my year, make, and model of my vehicle being brought in. His tone came out to seem as if I had a rock for a brain. He criticized me of not having an appointment set up. While also saying that he would recommend setting one up online as well. His name was Ton or something like that. Yes, very “knowledgeable” advisors at Inver Grove Honda indeed. What a joke to have to bring my vehicle all the way here from North Branch, MN. When you think of bringing your vehicle or Honda, I RECOMMEND YOU DONT BRING IT, to a place they call a Honda dealership in Inver Grove Honda. Most likely never going to take my vehicle in for service here again. Let alone even if my Honda dies only a couple miles from this ridiculous institute of a dealership.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!I am editing this to say that Evelyn wood and Brain Okubo went above and beyond to do what they could and then some to fix my issues with my car. I strongly recommend purchasing a car from this dealership and buying it from Evelyn wood! I really wish I could give a better review but I have to say upon getting my car home I was really disappointed. When we purchased the car it appeared to be more clean then what it was. something must have been sprayed on it to give it a better appearance because the next day scratch marks were more prevalent in the back. The previous owner had a dog. Why do I know this because of all the dog hair I found between the seats and the scratches. it was a significant amount of dog hair.I just thought more time an effort would be taken in cleaning the car. I really thought you would have more pride in your service and actually clean the car instead of making it look like a clean car. everyone I dealt with was nice and helpful but the detailing standard was beneath what we expected.

I was really impressed with the service at Inver Grove Honda. We were looking for a new CRV Touring and the gentlemen there was very honest about it. We wound up getting an Acura from another place that he recommended and we've been extremely happy with it. He advised that the Acura actually has much better handling on snow and ice which you need here in Minnesota. I would highly recommend this place for being honest and direct.
