I asked to get my alignment fixed and for them to check out a few bad sounds I've been hearing with my car. They said my car may be ready during my lunch hour so I called and they still didn't get to it. No big deal, i agreed to pick it up after I got out of work. They called me about an hour after my lunch break and told me a few things that were wrong with the car, and that they couldn't fix the alignment. I said that was fine and that i'll pick it up after work. They close at 6. I got out of work at 530 and got a ride over there. Called 15 min before they closed to make sure they would have my car ready. the guy told me he would still be here. 5 min after that he called me back and said he was leaving and that he would leave my keys for me in the gas cap. he also said that it was fine and I wouldnt have to pay for the test drive ($56.00) because I could tell he was itching to get out of there and didnt give a damn about the business at all. So when i show up to get my car my Jeep liberty is nowhere to be found in the parking lot. I frantically look around (seeing i have no ride home or to work the next day) and think to check through the window of their garage. There was my car, lifted up without any tires on it. No chance the car was ready to go for me. I couldnt get a hold of anyone at the store because they were already closed. Forcing me to take a cab home that night and find a ride to work AND the shop in the morning. When i talked to the manager the next morning he was not remorseful at all. They tried to make me pay the money for the test drive but when i complained enough they waived it because of my cab fares but i tried to argue that they should've completely waived the fee AND given me 30 dollars for my cab ride. But they subracted the 30 from the 56 and waived the difference. When i went to pick up the car the next day I was actually speaking to the man who left early and caused all the inconvenience. At no point did any of the workers there apologize to me. This is a complete disgrace to the Hogan name and I know this is not the way that this family business wants its employees to represent the company. This is not the way you do business.

I’ve been to Hogan a few times now and I have nothing but great things to say. I gave only a few minutes notice of bringing in a flat tire that would be difficult to patch and I was able to drop it off no problem and was back on the road within the hour. They have great prices for oil changes and don’t try to oversell on something you don’t need.

I have had nothing but issues with my tires since I got them put on. And every time I go there they try to juice me for repairs I don't even need and miss the repairs I do.... (funny my car was in here a few weeks ago and was told I needed all 4 new wheels((rims)) and a new battery ((over $850 in repairs)) and when I brought it to my mechanic I didn't need more than ONE rim and my battery was fine but I did need to get 2 new tires... How does a tire place miss the one thing I actually needed....TIRES...) Only reason I gave two stars is because the oil changes are cheaper than anywhere else around. Other than that a big thumbs down.

45 minutes to just PAY for the repairs. Quoted one price, told another in phone call telling me car was ready and a third price when I picked it up. Repair was on a system that was serviced by hogan 5 months ago and faulty hose was not discovered then. Paid double the labor. 10 year loyal customer lost.

I showed up at 8:15 am without an appointment after encountering issues with the company next door. I got a good price, they did exactly what I asked, and my 4 tires were ready in less than the time it took me to go home and take a shower. The rims did come home with new nicks on the front, which is annoying, but I get it that it's a PITA to fight with big stiff race tires. At least they were willing to do it. Next time I will put masking tape over the high risk area of the wheels. All in all, I will be using Hogan Tire in the future.

In February, we went to Hogan Tire for a steering wheel return problem. At first, it was thought that the problem might be in the power steering system component, an expensive repair. After the mechanic (Frank) examined and test drove our car, it turned out to be corrosion causing the stiffness in a rusted U-joint connection. The problem was corrected and the cost was significantly less. We were pleased and appreciate the honesty and integrity that was shown for this situation.

I have been going to these guys for more than 7 years and two different cars. I have always been impressed with their customer service and their fair prices. Now that my car is out of warranty, I try to bring it to them for anything that they can handle because I trust them. I would recommend them to anyone.

So far not a good experience. They keep putting on unbalanced tires. I have been here 5 times in 1 week. They even put the wrong tires on my car when it was supposed to be ready so I had to leave my car for another day to get the right tires put on. This company has clearly lost it's touch and a customer for good. They can't balance a tire to save their lives. They charged me with an alignment they never did in the first visit that was scheduled a week in advance. They performed an alignment after my 5th visit to get the new tires rebalanced again after they put the wrong tires on. Now my tpms light is on and my tire pressure is as it should be with properly inflated tires. I'll have to spend extra money at a competent shop to avoid these bafoons! Hogan does not keep you rolling.

I bought tires at this location. My decision was mainly influenced by the Director of Client Services at Epsilon (where I worked at the time) who mentioned her family owned this location and could give me a discount. When I mentioned this person's name to the people at this location, they had no idea who she was. After I got new tires, it was apparent Hogan screwed up the alignment. My vehicle pulled noticeably to the left. I brought my vehicle back to have them realign the tires. They said the alignment was fine and that the pull was due to the road slants (for the purpose of draining water). I knew that was BS since it was happening when I drove in the right land of the highway, but they refused to fix the problem. Fast forward months later and the alignment issue is much worse. I brought my vehicle to a mechanic who said the alignment was not so much the issue as it is the TIRES from Hogan! The tires are messed up and both pull to the right so the mechanic switched them but there's still a slight pull to the right. The mechanic said this problem can only be fixed with new tires. Unbelievable! BTW, I have also had service at Hogan in Waltham and they are much better and more professional.

I’ve used Hogan two times. Both times I ended up with a cross threaded lug nut/stud requiring replacements. For those who don’t know, this is caused by pure laziness from not hand tightening a wheel nut before tightening it with the power tools. Saves the technicians maybe 30 seconds. There’s no excuse for it and it spells poor training and discipline. I won’t be returning to any Hogan and I recommend you patronize your local mechanic instead. Two stars only because the guys here made me whole when I took it in for replacement.

Please read this!!!!! Avoid this place. I have been there twice over a couple months...this is my experience. After a cold spell, new tire leaking air. They diagnose a tire sensor leak. 1 year old car. I took the sensor to the dealer and they were incredulous. Looked great to them. Again, same thing... now I am told there is a side wall leak... hit a curb they said. I went and looked at the tire. They showed me their leak test... it is spouting air. If it was that bad, how could it hold air for a couple of days.... so now I have a obvious leak where as before it was a trickle. THEY ARE NOTHING WORSE THAN THIEVES!!!!!!! DISREPUTABLE. DISHONEST. GREAT DIAGNOSIS.... IF YOU WANT TO BE TOLD YOU ARE GOING TO DIE FROM F'IN CANCER EVERY TIME YOU WALK IN.

For $850 they gave me back my car running worse than it was when I brought it in. They then misdiagnosed the issue they had caused, essentially passing the buck to someone else. The frankly unprofessional mistakes they made involved leaving several key components to the engine either completely unplugged or wired incorrectly. These idiots could have damaged my engine, thankfully a much more reputable mechanic found the issues and fixed it for free. Again, the mistakes were absolutely easy to spot for anyone with actual training and experience. The guy laughed and almost didnt believe me when I told him that these allegedly professionals at hogan had been the ones that made the mistakes. Yeah, me and my family won't be returning anytime soon for anything besides a refund.

Purchased 4 Michelin tires for my '03 Vette. I was fussy about one of the tires installed. Hogan went out of their way to find a replacement tire. This was done hassle free even though I'm sure they incurred some added costs!! I shouldn't be surprised because they have always provided me with excellent service.

Let me start by saying that I left behind one of the best performance tire shops in the US when I moved here, so this review may be a little nit-picky. They were pleasant on the phone, but weren't all that helpful in tire selection (at least in the performance category), so plan to do your own research. The desk clerks I dropped off and picked up from weren't very friendly. They did do everything I asked, and wrote it down so that there was no missing information between then desk and the tech. The tires were installed well, with no damage to the wheels, though there is grease left on the wheels/tires (this is me being picky). The wheels were balanced pretty well, though there is still some wobble (not enough for most to notice) at highway speeds. All and all, I am happy with the price and the labor was on par with a tire shop that "does it all". I will be going back for my car and family's cars.

I am a satisfied customer and have purchased tires and wheels for the past twenty years. Great prices, great service, great attitude. I had priced my last set of Blizzaks at Tire Rack, and asked Hogan how close they could come. The net result is that over the lifetime of these winter and summer tires/wheels including seasonal changes, Hogan has saved me hundreds of dollars by my Hogan purchase compared to what it would have cost by making the Tire Rack purchase and arranging separate mounting services.

Staff was not very friendly or interactive. Waited five minutes before I was addressed and there were no customers ahead of me. After I got my car back I was told I had a bent wheel but when I asked how I could get that fixed I was shrugged off. My car still pulls to the right and I purchased four new tires with the alignment. Just felt like I wasn't given a safe and effective car back, wished someone could have explained more to me.

Took it in for servicing. Tie rods and ball joints. Refused brake service. Planned on doing at home. Finishing up front brakes now. They stripped two of my lugs and didnt inform me. One bolt is broken and will be calling tomorrow regarding what can be done to remedy this situation.

I literally came in to Hogan Tire with a flat tire 5 minutes before they closed. In 15 minutes, the tire was fixed and I was on my way. I wish I could comment on some of these negative reviews seeing as they have done the same thing to me in the past.. I find it extremely interesting that on a select few negative experiences they reply acting as if they are trying to help but the legitimately disputed ones they have absolutely no rebuttal .I just posted under a different user name about how they missed the one thing my car ACTUALLY needed (tires) and attempted to get me to make unnecessary purchases/repairs with a drastically over priced quote. Thankfully I have found another tire place that will from now on be getting my business. Bunch of thief's who can't even manage to do something as simple as a tire rotation. (Hey owner, why don't you look up my records and pull my calls and review your cameras about the tire rotation I wasnt given despite requesting it since it was part of the tire package I bought and try to dispute the fact it wasn't done, at least not properly if done AT ALL, if your staff doesn't know what they're doing you should probably reevaluate your staffing methods.)

They quoted me higher than the dealer for the same tires and alignment. I got them to price match, so that was ok. While sitting in the waiting room, they told me my brakes were low and it would be a good deal to get them done while the wheels were off. They quoted me more than 20% above the Infiniti dealer even with the wheels already off. Next I had to wait over 3 hours for them to replace my tires. This was a scheduled appointment where they told me would be about 1.5 - 2 hours - which is crazy to begin with.

Took advantage of out of towners. They knew we couldn't drive the car back home because of the worn out brake pads. They were charging us $780 for the rear brakes job, but reduced it to $600 and made it seem that they were giving us a discount. The job would have only cost $400 tops, but it was a well-disguised dishonesty and I just hated it. I must say that we've been had. Follow up review: I had to change the brake pads again after 6 months and 7000 miles. The mechanic who changed the brake pads said that Hogan Tire replaced the old ones with the cheapest brake pads around. To think that Hogan Tire charged me $600 even makes me furious.

We have been a loyal customers for 3 years for all our tire and other needs for our 3 cars with a high degree of satisfaction and refering the shop to others. For one of the vehicles, they were unable to remove the winter wheels during the spring summer wheel/tire swap visit blaming the wheel lock key. I took the vehicle to the BMW dealer being told that the wheel lock themselves were damaged when the wheels were installed by over torquing them with likely an air gun (the dealer said they damaged both their master and another key trying to remove the locks on all four wheels, and offered to drill them out for a significant cost). After revisiting Hogan who agreed to work on removing the wheels (as they have done all my winter/summer wheel swaps including installation of these last winter wheel sets when the locks would have been damaged), I was told they could not remove the wheels again blaming the wheel lock key (I had also purchased a brand new one). I ended up paying a significant amount for the dealer to remove the wheel by drilling the locks. Hogan took no responsibilities and did not respond to my inquiries. I thought they took customer service as their top priority. Disappointed.
