Tires are fairly priced and the counter folks will not try to up-sell with you fear tactics. If you walked into the Hadley Firestone they will intimidate you with every play in the sales book. Why? Because they are told to push you to buy anything and everything. @Hadley Firestone I was quoted $300 not including labor for two new tires. Amherst tire are real people. The main counter person quoted me on several tires for my vehicle. No scare tactics no up-sells. Final price two new tires: 250, labor included. Well worth it.

There are several mixed reviews about this place, and YMMV, but I've always had a great experience here. I've had to go in several times over the years for oil changes and tire repairs. They've always treated me with respect and have never tried to up-sell me. On one occasion, I went in expecting to have to buy a new tire; however, they came back and told me they'd be able to patch it instead, saving me hundreds of dollars and even rotating my tires for free while they were at it. Another time I went in, I intended to have new brake pads put on, but they were able to resurface the ones I already had instead, again saving me a lot of money.

If you like your wheels destroyed, tire vibrations, and having to take your vehicle to another shop to fix this places work, then by all means go here. Or maybe just go somewhere else. This used to be a great shop. Not anymore.

Was turned away. Told my tires were dead and not worth the alignment. Was also told I was sold the wrong size tires, further research shows my tires are stock. They were very nice but i do not appreciate the scare tactics.

Took my car for a alignment and they i needed ball joints had a shop i use all the time do it and they said these are good i wont be returning here

They took good care of my car for the year or so that I went there, and they have good deals on services. For example, if you get tires from them, you have a warranty on them and free tire rotations for life. If I still lived in the area, I would still be taking my car there.
