The team at Tire Pros addressed my damaged tire problem quickly. After inspecting the tire, they told me that I could get a few more miles out of it, but reviewed the options for a permanent and long term fix. I have an all wheel drive vehicle and they were honest in telling me that I would only need to purchase a pair and not replace all four as I heard elsewhere. Their pricing, service and warranty was excellent for the replacement tries and expedient service they provided. I would call them first before you check around. They are truly "Tire Pros"

Our recent experience went great! Had a grinding noise coming from rear brakes. It was the Saturday before labor day and they were slammed (busy). However, I was able to make an appointment on their online tool and they got the issue resolved within 3 hours (that's diagnosing, getting parts, and completing repairs). My vehicles love to break down at inconvenient times and twice now Tire Pros has been able to help me out. They will be my first choice for minor repairs from here on out.

They are straight shooters and will not try to sell you services that you do not need. Tire Pros quoted me a good price several hundred dollars less than other places in town for body work I needed to get my car to pass the MD state inspection. They were honest about my options, quoting me the lower price for non-Toyota parts, but letting me know they could also do the job for more with genuine Toyota parts. The other two places I went to did not bother to offer different options OR explain the difference. I have since brought my new car in for inspection and have been getting my maintenance done here instead of at the Toyota dealership. So far, so good! Overall the staff is friendly, professional, and efficient and the prices are good.

Professional and honest! What a great find on Google! I had to cancel an appointment that I made with another place in Germantown. I called up The Tire Pros and explained that I had gotten a flat as a result of hitting a pretty big pothole a few days ago. I spoke with Drew who said they were booked for the day, but he checked with a couple of his technicians before giving me a definiteno. He said that it would be a bit of a wait but he could double-book and get me in. He mentioned that they also might not be able to get me a new tire if the flat could not be repaired. After a couple hours wait (which I honestly did not mind) I had a new tire and was good to go. Unfortunately they couldn't squeeze me in for a tire alignment. But I am very grateful for all that they could do. Now I'm off to get that alignment.

These guys go the extra mile. I needed 8 new tires, 6 for my RV and 2 for my dolly which I pull behind the RV. Even though their facility was not designed to accommodate RVs they said it would not be a problem. They ordered the tires and we scheduled an appointment. When we brought the RV in, they were able to pull the RV inside but because of the size, they were not able to put it on a lift and had to use manual jacks to lift each side, one at a time. This means it took them longer than normal to put on the new tires but they did not complain and even stayed open a few extra minutes to complete the job. The tires for the dolly were special order and so I left the dolly with them for two days and when I dropped by to pick it up, everything was ready to go. Amazing service. They even brought in coffee for the customers when their coffee pot was broken. I've already recommended Tire Pros to my neighbors and co-workers. 5+ stars.

I bought a car from HiLo Auto Sales about a week ago! It was a late night deal and they were closing, so we were hurrying! Needless to say there were things we noticed on the way home and within the first day or so! One the horn didn't work, the rear brake light was out and a few things! When I called the next day to the dealership, they directed me to Service and I was scheduled right away, and around my schedule! When we brought the car in to Tire Pros of Frederick, they had me a rental car scheduled, and they took us to pick it up! When the car was done, Kyle called me right away and I told him I would be able to pick it up Friday! Well here it is, Friday and I'm here to get my new car! Kyle came to us and said the owner wanted specs and all done and if we could wait a little bit! Absolutely, cause I want to make sure everything is good and I don't have to bring this back again for any issues....while waiting a few minutes, Kylie came back and said the tires weren't good and we stated we noticed that but didn't want to complain about it! He said the owner would like to put a new set of tires on it, if we had just a little time to wait! That's what I call True Customer Service!! A lot of other places would've just passed it off, since I signed the papers, bought the car, and deal was done! I feel truely blessed and I want to thank everyone at Tire Pros for treating me so well!! I will recommend them to everyone and will not take my car anywhere else. My 2001 4X4 Ranger needed a little pick me up. I contacted a few shops in the area but as soon as I talked to Tire Pros of Frederick I was set. The tire brands that I had in mind were less expensive there than the online shops and they had a great variety. I went to their user friendly website and was able to compare a lot of brands and styles of tires. I picked out 4 brands. When I called them I spoke to Mark D. I told him the brands that I was interested in. He recommended the third cheapest tires instead of pushing the more costly set. I wanted to get a larger tire on the truck and Mark had the tools to tell me exactly what would fit and how to make the vehicle look right with no tire rub. I had them raise the front of the truck with a torsion bar adjustment and a 4 wheel alignment. This truck looks great, handles great and at an excellent price! I got exactly what Mark described from the tires, nice look without the rough tire "drone". I would recommend Tire Pros of Frederick to any and everyone! Brian McCauley

Yesterday, August 26th, 2015 @ 4:00 AM I got a flat on my way to work. Stopped at a gas station and bought a couple of cans of fix-a-flat because I am not a morning person and did not feel like changing my tire. 4:30 in the afternoon when I was leaving work my tire exploded, surprising the USCP (drawing their guns) that were close by. As a result of my tire issue I believe I found a secret little tire shop in Frederick, Tire Pros of Frederick! For those of you close by, or feel like making the drive when you are in need, I highly recommend Tony Lagana @ Tire Pros of Frederick! Best prices and customer service for at least a 50 mile radius. This guy knew how long my day was and sold me two Firestone's at a better price than other shops off name brand. He had me in and out the door in less than an hour! Terrific end for a day that started kind of crappy. My off brand tires were from Pep Boys, and I won't bore you with the details. Tire Pros of Frederick prices for "real" tires beat Pep Boys for crap tires! The customer service I received from Tony Lagana was 5 Star and priceless! I'm not the easiest customer because I expect the kind of service I give. I could not have done anything better than Tony and his techs! I will be returning when the need arises!

I called several tire places for a quote to purchase new tires, I was cautious about the type of service and guarantee most of places offered. Just as I was about to leave to one of the selected locations my friend told me about Tire Pros of Frederick. I called for a quote and to my surprise it was lower than what I received. Based on my friend's experience with them I decided to try it. The staff was very friendly and I was very satisfied with the service. I would recommend and go again for other type of auto service.

I wish there was a way to rate them with Zero stars. I purchased a Ford Explorer XLT from their sister company Hi Lo auto sales just a few months ago and regret working with them across the board. For the record, I am not hard to please. I recently purchased a second vehicle in Frederick and have had a great experience. [Check out SMH auto sales, they are honest and take care of their customers] Let me start with the purchasing experience. As part of the negotiations they were to have new tires put on. We arranged for their partner company [Tire Pros] to install the tires, we picked the suv up and within hours were left in the mountains stranded with no signal when they tire almost broke off the car completely. They didn't tighten our lug nuts, so we lost 3 of our studs and I unscrewed the 4th by hand. When we called [within hours of leaving their shop] their response was "how do we know you didn't do it?" -when I lost my mind on the phone with them [since this could have easily killed someone] they sent a tow truck and brought us in. They continued to deny liability until I spoke with the manager. They fixed it. [you'd think that would be the end of it!] When I jumped in my brand new suv -the mechanic hadn't worn gloves and left motor oil marks all over my steering wheel, dash, seat, and floor! This company is not honest. They care only about their bottom line and less about selling functional vehicles and repairing them. If I were you, look else where. [Be warned, they own other companies under this umbrella and have multiple listings on yelp and google] Super sketchy, just don't do it.

These guys are great! I drove over a bolt this morning and called Tire Pros. They told me to bring the car in. Unfortunately my husband was using the car with the spare tire on it and it would not be back in Frederick until the evening. Because they were open so late, I was able to bring in the tire itself. They removed and repaired the tire and then were able to quickly install it back onto the car at 7:30 in the evening. Total cost - $25!!! Our car is back in business. As a woman, it’s always intimidating when purchasing anything “mechanical” for my vehicle. However the guys at Tire Pros in Frederick, MD. made me feel extremely comfortable and they took the time to explain what options would be the best for me. Very disappointed in the service. Went in today at 8am doors open lights off. Lot attendant said that someone will be in soon just running late I waited the owner showed up20 minutes later. He never acknowledged that I was there waiting. Then he had some guy who spoke very little English come out and say they were closed today. Nowhere does it say that and I have been there on Saturday for service many times. Very poor service never again

$700 tire rotation and oil change. I took the car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I was told that the wheel hub assembly had a defect that was noted when the tire was removed. I saw that the bolt had broken. This happens. I was told that there was a defect in the wheel assembly such that a new bolt could not be fitted. I have never heard of that happening. The hole of the bolt is clearly too large. How did it get that way? I had no choice but to pay for installation of a new one.

We had significant problems with the previous management and did not intend to return to Tire Pros after the road hazard contracts we purchased for our 8 tires ended. However, the new management has gone above and beyond, fixing all of the problems created by the previous management. We have been in twice with the new manager and have been pleasantly surprised. As long as the quality of service continues at this level, we plan to keep going there.

We dropped off the truck to have the tires changed at the scheduled time and they said it would be done in two hours. We came back in two hours and asked the gentleman the status of the truck, which he had to go fins the truck because it was not in the bay area. We found out that it had not even been worked on yet. We waited another two hours for them to finish the job and it caused our trip to be started later then expected.

They quickly schedule an appointment to replace the power steering pump, however when they replace the power steering pump there were unforeseen circumstances and I was not able two take my vehicle home the same day. The manager Kyle Pruitt did everything he could to get the car fix the same day unfortunately the dealer did have to order the part that was necessary to fix the pump, there was no way of them knowing that that part would have been needed without getting into the pump. Kyle Pruitt made sure that I had ride home, a ride to work, he made sure that I had a ride to pick up my car from work. Kyle also did everything he could to call me down and reassure me that everything was going to be ok and that they were going to take care of me and Kyle and his team did I definitely recommend them to anyone especially because I am a first-time car buyer and that was one of the greatest experiences that I could have. I had to get my truck fixed at tire pro and had a great experience. We wanted to get it fixed before our vacation and they found several problems with it. their advice was to not take it and let them fix the truck. they we in contact with me for several days keeping me informed about the vehicle. Even through I was on vacation I felt confident that the vehicle was being repaired properly. When they finished they notified me and also told me to enjoy the rest of my vacation and they would hold the truck in their lot until we returned. 6 months ago we took a car in and the service was good. Fast forward to now and things are not good. 1. I made an appointment and during that call I was never told they were about to move. 2. I show up at the old location and the first guy looked at me as if there had never been a tire shop there, I was eventually sent on a wild goose chase clear across town to their “new location” behind the fairgrounds. Not only is this place impossible to find, they were clearly not ready for customers, I was greeted in a muddy pothole filled parking lot where and old office desk with a piece of wood propped up on it holding customer keys was placed. There is no place to wait and since I had no ride what did they expect me to do? A quick glance in the shop and around the parking lot gave me the “this is shady af” vibe. The price quoted was good but like the old adage goes “you get what you pay for” bottom line the location is terrible.

Another car mechanic trying to rip you off. I went there a few times and was decently happy with the work they did. When I got new tires, I tried to rotate them myself, turns out they cross-threaded a bolt on every single tire. It wasn't too big of a deal until I had a flat and had to break the one bolt off to change the tire. They said they would fix the flat and rotate my tired, but i needed another bolt (which cost $80+). I went in to get another tire rotation in which they proceeded to tell me they had to break another one off in order to rotate them (costing another $80+) when it was their fault for cross-threading the bolt. This also means they had lied about rotating my tires the time before, or there would not have been a problem this time. They are just looking to get every dollar they can, even if it screws you over. I would find another, more trustworthy mechanic. EDIT: They have done it a second time and have gotten a new manager. The new manager said he would get back to me to see if they could fix it and he has not done so.

Great service! Friendly, clean and efficient. Called a national chain to hand a tie plugged they couldn't do it until 10 am next day. Tire pro took me right away. Best part I got the tour fixed and got a coupon for a year of roadside assistance.

My experience here unfortunately was a bad one. I had winter tires on my car and 5,000 miles on my all seasons which were in the trunk. I told them I would like to switch to my all seasons for summer. The day before on the phone I repeatedly asked If they could swap my tires with my pre existing tires? they said that would not be a problem. When I arrived for my appointment i was told differently. The service manager informed me that they can't due to insurance reasons. When asked about the multiple same answer from one of the employees via phone, he said some are new and that he would talk to them in 5 minutes. I understand this insurance issue may be the case, but suspicious nonetheless since other tire places offer this service. Just tread with caution if you do business here and I hope anyone who goes has a better experience than me.

I decided to give Tire Pros a call based on their reviews. I expected, given their high rating, that they would quote me a correspondingly high price (as did another downtown shop featured in the FNP this past week) but their quote was one of the less pricey quotes for replacing rotors and pads for all four wheels. They were also able to fit me in same day which was great. The staff in the front office was very friendly and professional; it took less than 5 minutes to fill out the paperwork and be on my way. I was enjoying a glass of Stella di Notte on the patio at Pistarros 15 minutes later (Tire Pros offered to drive me but it was a gorgeous day for the 10 minute walk). One glass of wine, one Salsiccia pizza, and two cups of coffee at Frederick Coffee Company (a short walk from Pistarros) later, I was informed that the work was done. 3 hours, 20 minutes drop-off to done. Pros (see what I did there?): Excellent price for the work. Same day service, quick repair, they offered to drive me to a location in downtown while I waited, very friendly office staff, excellent price for the work (did I say that already?). Cons: (Some other reviews have mentioned this) They could use a larger sign/banner/something to make their building more immediately visible from Highland Street. The parking lots of several companies in that small business park intertwine and it may be difficult for new customers to locate them. The work is new, the brakes worked perfectly coming home. Should anything go wrong with them (and the issue can be traced to Tire Pros work) I will update this review to reflect those issues. That possibility aside, I think we have found our new shop. [I have not been paid, offered a discount or in any way remunerated for this review. I had an awesome experience at Tire Pros of Frederick. The staff was great and completed my tire installation quickly and efficiently. Before bringing my car to Tire Pros I was quoted a price of nearly $2,600 for tires, struts and shocks; however, after goint to Tire Pros I was informed that I did not need struts or shocks which saved me almost $1500 dollars. After installing my tires they checked my alignment and everything was fine so I did not have to pay for that service either. By having my tires installed by them I get free tire rotation every 5,000 miles. Tire Pros just got a customer for life!

Don't let the name fool you, there is nothing professional about this shop. I dropped my car off to get one tire balanced and when they returned there was a huge scratch in the black paint on the rim. When I confronted them about it they insulted my knowledge of my own vehicle and were incredibly rude towards me. The owner even lied to me about the machine he used for my wheel. Do not give these people your time or money. Never going back.

After a long stressful month of losing air in my tires I decided to call this place being all too aware of how complicated it can be when dealing with mechanics/car services. Ted answered the phone and had to be one of the friendliest customer service workers I've ever encountered (on phone and in person) and I went in to get my tire repaired quickly and efficiently. I was shocked at how cheap it was to not only have them order a rim, but to replace my old rickety one. They have a cozy waiting room and got the job done quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful but I'd say overall Ted's friendly demeanor was the major selling point for me I would highly recommend this place during a car emergency.

If you are getting tires they have the best price. As far as service the mechanics that worked on my cars were less than average. I had to bring my car back in three times for the same issue on more than one service item. I finally had to bring one car to toyota to find out that the car has a CA emission system and has a second cat converter in the manifold. After they replaced the cat twice. Prices are good but i would rather pay more and rent a car once and have it done correctly. When they put the cat on the last time the mechanic used sleeves rather than the correct clamps and the car rattles now. I tried reaching out to managment but they didn't return my call. Bring ur car someplace else
