I use to get all my cars and my service Van's taken care of at another shop. I tried Taneytown Tire and that's when I met Ben. I could not believe the knowledge that man has. Ben is very polite and patient. And the prices are so reasonable! All of the techs are top notch. I will never go anywhere else. This rating is for real. I meant every word. Try them once and you will never leave.

I brought my 2017 RAM and to have the tires removed and new ones put on the ones that were removed or still in great shape they had 40 thousand or more miles left on them everything was going good when I got them home to wash them so I could sell them I realize that they gouged up my tires and even ripped chunks of rubber out revealing the cables underneath when I brought them back and for Brian to look at them he said that I must have done it and there's no way that they did it I must have took him to another shop so that they could do that. It was the first time the tires of ever been removed off the truck since it was brand new very unhelpful and would not admit to what they have done. They put my lugs on without a torque stick never checked to see if they were at the proper torque there wasn't even any water in the waiting room stay away from this place. I did take some rubbers to glue back down the chunk of rubber so I can try to sell them.

Truly quick and amazing service. Unfortunately I didn't even know they were there until a friend told me about them. But on that note the employees are very easy to get along with and friendly. I called to order tires on a Thursday and they said no problem they will be there the next day. Little did I know that I was going to get a phone call the same day I called to order them and they were there that day. In and out service as quick as possible while doing a wonderful job. I WILL DEFIANTLY BE GOING BACK!!!!!! Keep up the great work guys!!

The latest experience we had with this business is what gives the automotive repair industry a bad name. I have never had a worse customer service experience. Purchased four "new" tires from them in March 2016. At that time they did an alignment as well. In August 2016 we discovered our front tires were bald, twelve thousand miles later. My husband stopped in the shop. They looked at the van and forty five minutes later told us what we already knew, that the front two tires were completely worn and needed to be replaced. They said they would get the tires in and call us. Never heard from them. Weeks later we called and were told that the tires were sent back because WE never called. That was just the beginning of a huge run around met with many lies, (at best half truths,) inconsistencies, excuses and complacency. There was nothing done or offered to lead us to believe we were valued as customers or that they cared at all about keeping our business. They never could explain WHY our tires wore out so soon. The last straw came when the shop "manager" told me that our car would be ready by 1:30. Showed up at 2:30 and it was on the lift. Wasn't ready until 2:50. Zero apology. We will stick with honest, fair and professional Lee's Automotive in Westminster. Should have gone there in the first place. UNSURPRISINGLY, THE RESPONSE ADDED BELOW IS NOT ACCURATE. BOTTOM LINE, THIS BUSINESS SOLD US 60,000 MILE TIRES THAT LASTED 12,000 MILES, AND THEN MADE US PAY FOR THEM AFTER HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOW GENEROUS OF THEM TO CORRECT THE ALIGNMENT THAT THEY SAID COULD HAVE CAUSED THE ABNORMAL WEAR IN THE FIRST PLACE, RIGHT? ADDITIONALLY, NO ONE "OFFERED" ME ANYTHING. I HAD TO REFUSE TO PAY THE $46.00 THAT THEY WANTED TO CHARGE FOR THE LABOR. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY THAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK AND TIRES. AFTER THE TREATMENT WE RECEIVED FROM THIS BUSINESS WE WILL BE SURE TO SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH ANYONE WE CAN. THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH TIRE WORLD IN FREDERICK.

Needless to say the work was completed in a timely manner and done under the quoted price. I cannot say enough good things about this shop! They will definitely receive our business in the future. AVOID THIS PLACE! Entire show is unprofessional and unorganized! I called Thurs to schedule a inspection. Guy had to call me back after he talked to his inspection garage..ugh half hour later I got a call saying they could do it Friday. Drop it off at 8am. I had it there the night before. Friday 2pm rolls around. I call and see what's up. Guy says he working on it now. I call back at 4:56.. guy says he was bizzy and if I'm lucky, weather permitting,I'll get my car Saturday. And calls buddy,in a shitty way,instead of sir. So I don't hear anything till 10am. I call them. Guy says he will call me right back. He does call back and says my car will be done at 1. They close at 1 on Saturday. He calls me at 12:15 and says it needs all new fuel and EVAP lines for some reason. And gave me a shitty explanation. Why was my car not worked on first thing if it was left over from night before?? Needless to say no one in circle of friends or family will definitely not bring anything here. Nevertheless,I took it to his competitor right down the street and guess what? It passed!! These guys are all joker's. Save your time and money! Run!

I came in early morning to check the price to put a tire on my rim. The first flag was the manager asking what size wheel I had. The price usually doesn't vary as the majority of the time all tires are changed using a machine. I have the smallest size wheels on a car (13"). The manager priced me at $20 for the install after I let him know just how little money I had for this and that my tire would shred within the 100 miles or so. I guess he assumed I was ignorant about cars as he said I wouldn't make it another 5 minutes driving on it. I walked away after he told me the price and wouldn't work with me and said to myself "This is why I don't come here anymore". He then chose to come back outside because he overheard me say this and give me a hard time for having an opinion on he spoke to me. He then tells me it takes over 30 minutes to change a tire. That is insane. I have worked in a garage and I changed out tires in under 10 on a regular basis. I used to love this place and enjoyed talking with the guys while they worked. They recently switched management and they've segregated customers from the shop. It doesn't feel the same and you can tell that the new management only cares about the bottom line.

I can sum up Taneytown Tire and Auto in one word... "AWESOME"! They've performed work on all of my vehicles, tires, brakes, oil changes, batteries, custom wheels. Assisted in installing some HP parts on my truck. Checked cleared out some error codes on my car (at no charge yet). They're super friendly and charge reasonable prices. Not one complaint... ever. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by Ben. I have to say he goes far and beyond in assisting you and never once have they tried to up-sell me into something I didn't need. Fair and Honest. That's why I like dealing with them. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
